A strict action needs to be taken against the amazon seller performance team who really do not read seller's emails properly. We had launched our seller account somewhere in the last week of april and just after the couple of days they have blocked our account with reason "inauthentic product". They had assumed 3 of our products as inauthentic and were asking for invoice copies and brand authorization letter. Invoice copy was ready but reg brand auth certificate when we had checked with the distributor they told us that until unless we meet the certain sales target they cannot issue brand auth certificate and hence we had given scanned invoice copies. However they had come back asking us to proof if our distributor is authorized to sell the mentioned brand. It was a tough time when we had to go to distributor place asking them to proo[censored]s if they are authorized to sell the mentioned brand or not. First they were not ready to share such internal details as we have just started our relationship with them and for them we are very new to this industry but still some how we were managed to click few photographs of awards and recognization and the agreement details between the brand and distributor and all such details were shared to amazon with clear pics. However, as soon as they are shared with seller performance team we got a reply in couple of hours asking for the same information again (Invoice copy, brand auth letter), basically the same copy paste email. We shared the info again with invoice copy. Again they came back asking us to proof if our distributor is authorized or not, again we had provided all the pics and information action as much as we had and meanwhile we had asked our distributor to arrange for some other strong document which can proof they are authorized to sell brand. We exchanged 6-7 emails with seller performance and suddenly they have stopped replying to our emails. We had also escalated the case to amit and jeff's level but still no luck. Meanwhile we had received another document from our distributor which was issued by the company to show that distributor is authorized to sell that particular brand. We then received an email on 18/05 stating "hello world time/sterling time,
I'm a member of the amazon.com team, amit received your email and requested that i research this issue and respond on his behalf.
You have provided invoices from supplier, please provide proof that your supplier is authorize to sell the brand, as well as invoices again, and authorization letter.
We will review all the documents, and get back to you." we had provided all the information including brand auth certificate which we had recently received from distributor on 19/05 itself and since then we are chasing up with them everyday twice but till today (30/05), there is no single reply. They didn't even bother to call us once. Their requirement is never clear on emails. After all frustration i thought of putting this issue here hoping for a proper judgement.
