I purchased a one + five mobile from amazon website on 21st september'17 and took an exchange offer which they had at that time. I am having samsung galaxy a8. I purchased the one + five phone with 128gb rom and 8gb ram whose actual costing is rs 37, 999/- and with exchange, it came to somewhere around 29, 000 (Approx) after all bank discounts and all offer calculation, the net sum was rs. 28, 090/- which was deducted from my credit card. I took an emi plan which has rs. 4500/ month (Approx) payable in 6 months. Please note that i being a prime customer here, should have got the product by next day max i. E. By 22nd september'17.
I waited till 23rd september and the tracking status was written as sorry for delay, it will be reaching you by 26th september'27. I again waited till 24th september and then i called up the customer care of amazon and they assured me that i will get it by 26th positively. On 27th september'17 when i called them, they stated after holding my call for around 5-7 mins. That my phone has lost in transit and sorry for the inconvenience. The representative told me that he is putting a replacement request right away so that i can get the phone instantly. No extra cost will be taken from me. I said please do whatever you want but send me the phone instantly. I told them that i have uninstalled my samsung galaxy a8 phone and formatted it as i had to hand it over for exchange purpose. I had no phone at that time. They reassured me that i will get the phone within next 24- 48 hrs. Max.
I again waited till 28th september but again with no revert. I again called them up with frustration regarding the status. They apologized and confirmed that my order could not be delivered because of some internal policy of exchange and replacement order. So i need to cancel the order and reorder it. With higher level of frustration, i scolded them and cancelled the order. Also, i humbly requested them that please initiate the refund instantly the moment i cancel because i have emi to pay and bill will be generated soon. They assured me same and told to cancel the product.
Now i am in proper follow ups with them, and they are not responding in the manner they did it earlier. Now they are just apologizing again and again and say that it will be initiated soon. I am really worried as my emi will be generated shortly and i will have to pay the amount, without any reason.
You are requested to please help me out.
