Amazon — Defective AC Out of Box

Hi Team,

This is regarding the Order Details ::

and the AC Details are Voltas SAC 173 IY 1.4 Tonne 3 Star and the seller is Cloudtail India Private Limited. I ordered the product on 19th March and received the same on 21st March. On 22nd March Voltas Engineer Mr. Deepak came in to install the New AC . The box was little bit damaged but I thought as long as AC is fine box will be of no use.
I had also called the electrician on the same for the wire fittings. After all installation was completed AC Failed to start. AC kept on opening the inner Unit and Outer Unit and none of them responding. It took almost whole day and in end engineer responded that Inner Unit is dead Motor and Panel and IC needs to be changed and they cannot confirm the outer Unit Working since inner one is dead. I was like Ohh My God .. I always thought that Amazon is renowned for Fast and Excellent packaging of the Products and good quality products. But i never expected a AC which is broken / defective completely is packed and shipped to a customer. This is not the way delicate things like AC are packed and delivered. Technician from Voltas said that we will replace parts. He said it will be delivered to me on within 3 to 4 business days.

Why should I wait for 3 to 4 days for any part replacement??

Why was the product not sent after quality checks??

What kind of packaging was done it's totally pathetic..

I called the customer care, a number of times but the response which i am getting is not satisfactory at all.

A lot of money has been wasted for Installation, Uninstallation and then electrician and other charges.

Who will pay that money ??. Thats totally wasted..

Okay Tell Me Why Should I recommend Amazon to my Family and Friends after such incident??

Team Seriously That's Ridiculous.
My future purchase with you guys will totally depend upon how soon this issue is fixed.

I have an unused faulty product wrapped back in the same box in which it came.
I don't want to use faulty defective bad product even if this is repairable.

Tell me the next step??
Now what is the reason why do I have to wait for so so long for getting my money back??

I was informed by you guys You can pay installation charges what about other charges ??

Please fix this ASAP. I can't wait any longer .

      I have been ordering and receiving Kare In Adult Diapers 96-147 cm. So far I have received, cash on delivery and free delivery, 4 boxes of two units each. These are needed for my wife, a patient of cerebral stroke. Suddenly, my two orders have been first accepted and then cancelled next day without giving any reason. There is no complaint about the product itself.

            I returned a shaffon peach coloured saree on February2, 2017but didn't get my cash back in my bank account yet.Stuff, colour and length was not like they've shown in picture. I have already given my bank account's details but didn't get my cash back. I'm very disappointed with the way that they are adapting to refund the amount. Lots and lots of days have passed away n I'm still waiting.

              Have purchased a One Plus Three mobile . It is shutting off randomly and frequently. The return window closed on March 21 2017. and to initiate the return process I filled up the required fields on 21 March evening through www.amazon.in/contact-us.I did not receive an acknowledgement of this complaint.
              I then posted my request for return/refund/replacement on Amazon Facebook page. In response I was asked to contact the manufacturers or service center.
              I also received an email in response to the face book post which again suggested that I contact the manufacturers.Also no contact details of the manufacturers have been provided.
              Why should I be asked to get the servicing/repair done by manufacturer when I am requesting for a return which was promised by Amazon at the time of purchase.

                Dear Sir,

                I purchase a mobile phone from Amazon portal. Mobile is defective so i return mobile & my refund amount goes to your amazon pay account but i want't that my amount transfer in my bank account. I regular call to amazon from last 19th feb. they said only please wait for 7 to 10 days, after 10 days they will tell again wait for 3 to 4 days after 4 days again they will tell me for wait 5 to 7 days after 7 days they will tell again wait for 7 to 10 days. sir i don't now what i do. please suggest me way so got my money in my bank account as soon as possible. 14000/- is not a small amount for me.

                    I bought Samsung S7 Edge 128gb mobile on 16th March 2017 for the price INR 30, 000 which was decided by Amazon (or its seller) at the time when I was placing the order. But unfortunately, Amazon cancelled my order after 2 business (working) days I placed the order. and when I contacted Amazon, they said the reason to cancel the order is "Seller Pricing Error" which is not at all justified to me. They wasted my couple of days.

                    I agree that, they have right to update the price of an item at anytime they want but once the order is placed by the customer, they should deliver the item for that committed price.

                    This kind of decision leads to lost the customers' trust on Amazon to buy anything from Amazon since they are able to cancel the order at anytime if they don't like.

                    Moreover, I had redeemed huge number of reward points from my credit card as Amazon Gift Vouchers to purchase this item only and now the gift amount become useless and forcing me to buy anything from Amazon.

                          I wanted to buy Symphony touch 35 air cooler. It appeared in the mobile app, that the product can be delivered to my pincode 600113. So I added money to Amazon pay balance, however when I tried placing the order, it denied the delivery to the mentioned pincode.
                          So, I want refund immediately to buy the same product from other store. Since summer is very hot in Chennai I cannot wait. Hope you understand my concern.

                            I ordered a gtx 1050 graphics card and i got a laptop battery which is useless and the battery also seems to be second hand.I am not getting any help.Amazon and dealer both keep saying to wait.The order was worth rs.11000 i have saved the money for graphics card so one day I can get it but amazon broke my dreams.I swear i will not do online shopping of such an expensive item again.

                                A refund of 6999 rupees was successfully processed on 15 March 2017 to my account. This amount should have been credited to my SBI account by now, but i have not received the refund till now.

                                I have called the state bank of india customer service and also emailed the state bank of india main branch all the details many times including the unique transaction reference number but nobody has replied or resolved the problem. No action is being taken

                                I have confirmed with amazon and they have successfully processed the refund

                                kindly go through the charge dispute emails, locate the pending refund and follow the path back to amazon's payment processor to locate the refund.

                                Sir, I had ordered a arena swimming goggle on July 25, but I immediately cancel it.This goggle price Rs.4714.75 But money has been transferred from my bank account. Then I called a Amazon customer care and he said That your order's payment has not been received by us. Then I called the bank customer care and said that you have not been transferred. Then they found the complainant. And after taking that compliant, they transfer. But they will get direct access to your account on 7th September. Then I started calling Amazon Customer Care again. He said that we will not take your money. Then I went back to the bank. Then I told them that my money has not been returned. Then they replaced the compliant and then said that it would take 15 days. Then after 15 days I went back and said that your money has been transferred. Then I asked for their account statement. And he's sending a copy of the photo of the statement to you.

                                 Sir Please, I request you to return my payment as soon as possible. plz

                                  This is to inform you that I confirmed about the cashback details from your customer care executive, They told me if you purchase moto g4 plus via standard charted debit/credit card you will receive Rs1500 cashback.
                                  Even I called to your customer care exec. on 10th march 2017, the same response i got that "I am eligible for the cashback and will receive the cashback on 20th march 2017".

                                  But today they are denying to me.
                                  This is the fraud behavior from your side.
                                  Your customer care executive tell lies to customer.
                                  Worst experience from AMAZON, will never believe on your **** services.

                                    In 12th march I was placed the order HP V210W 32GB USB 2.0 Pen Drive (Order #[protected] and next return this product without opened. Friday I was call in customer care talk with may be Aurn and he said that your refund initiated in your amazon account. Today I was called to customer care talk with Vinay praksh something person not give clear his name and he said refund not initiated and he call hold on 10minutes with inform and after I call other landline number and I said other customer care to please inform one of the our team member called hold on last 10 minutes. 2nd Order no : Order #[protected] and he said thay this product not delivered on your address and I said this product received in my address and I was return this product at my home. Last 10 days to I was talk with customer care in 4 times and every time person say your refund in your account process in next 2 days still I can't receive money in my account.

                                    I am very disappointed today just because I said to customer care person he is not transfer to call higher authority and he call hold 10 minutes before he said (MEIN AAPKA CALL 2 MINUTES KE LIYE HOLD PER RAKHU) may be something this type and Order #[protected] about this order he said order not received on your address and he cant under stand. I said this person to 5 times I was receive and the I was replace this product. He not saying clear his name.

                                      My son place order Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime(Gold, 32GB) on Amazon on 17 march 2017 #[protected] and #[protected]

                                      The payment of both item successful via HDFC credit card.
                                      Amazon send mail for decline payment by bank and request us to revise payment. So again payment done by same credit card for same order.
                                      Now HDFC credit Card statement showing both transaction.
                                      Amazon is not giving any reference no which shows HDFC credit card decline the payment.

                                        To whom it may concern, i am a business owner of pizza outlet. I had placed an order for 3 items that supposed to arrive by march 14th of 2017. I still have not received my items and i had a chat online on Amazon site and the person had no cule how to resolve my issue. She told me that the order was damaged in shipment. So this is not my issue, Amazon such a big name should follow up when such incidents occur. i am sorry to say but i have been using Amazon for a long time when i was abroad. But in india they have know clue how to resolve issues and take care of customer relations. You guys are ruining AMAZON name. When something goes wrong with customers order you guys should follow up and inform your customers. This is absolutely unprofessional . Very disappointed in your service. Probably wont be doing Business with AMAZON.in ever again...
