Amazon's service has become third rate. The top management does not seem to care about the customer or the problems the customer is raising with them. I ordered an item - Kleio Cloth Potli (Black, BnB415JP-Bl) sold by Royal Deal - on 5 Oct 2016. As I was not satisfied with the quality of the item, I requested a return. The return pick up was done on 17 Oct 2016. Later I was informed by an Amazon Customer Care Executive that the item was lying with Amazon Transportation Services, Pune for THREE FULL DAYS. Three weeks have elapsed since the reverse pick up was done. The refund has not yet been made. The Amazon Customer Care executives plead helplessness saying that it is not an Amazon fulfilled order and that they have no control over such vendors. This, my friends, is what Amazon is in reality. You place the order with Amazon, you make the payment to Amazon, but when it comes to refunds, Amazon tells you to contact the seller for the refund. So, finally, it is the customer's problem. Not just this, I wrote a negative feedback on the seller's webpage on Amazon last night. Believe it or not, this morning it has been removed. The seller cannot do this, so someone within Amazon has removed it. Now why would someone within Amazon remove a negative feedback about the seller unless he/she had some stake in it? Looking at the way Amazon has been operating in the last three months, it appears that the top management has lost control over its operations. It may be wise to switch to other online marketplaces. This is not the same Amazon of even a year ago.
Amazon India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I requested for return pickup of order ORDER #[protected], on Oct 22.
I called customer care almost every alternate day asking for status.
But no reply.
No one come or called me since Oct 22 for return pickup
