This is to bring to your attention of the discussion I had today with your advisor Eliza and Deepak from the leadership team, the adviosr was more professional and had empathy towards my situation in comparison to Deepak from the leadership team who had nothing to say other than the word "SORRY" which sounded like "Sir you have made a mistake by ordering from Amazon", very disgruntled and dissappointed at such appalling service from the leadership team (shame), I also work in a contact centre and I do not accept such pathetic customer service especially from the leadership team, am actually wondering is the kind of future managers that are being groomed in Amazon as the advisors or agents will obviously learn from the leadership team and get the feeling that the customers can be taken for a ride - Sorry I will not agree to be taken for a ride. I found Deepak to be arrogant and rude and finally he disconnected the call - wow what customer complaints handling capabilities by the leadership team. Kudos!!! Will give you the reason of my call and how I have been antagonised by your leadership team.
I ordered items worth Rs. 6200 on 11/09/2016, received a text message initially on 12/09/2016 that the package will be delivered on or before 14-Sep, then on 13/09/2016 at 10:50 am IST (Arriving today by 5:00 pm - Philips HL1645 750 Watt 3 Jar Super Silent Vertical Mixer GrinA will be delivered by AmzAgent), then at 18:33 i receive a sms from Amazon that the package was successfully delivered, was at work so called my wife to confirm and she said that there was no delivery, while on the call I received another sms from Amazon that the package could not be delivered as customer was not available (incorrect accusation by Amazon as per the sms), I accused my wife that she was not at home as the delivery man had come to deliver but she was not at home, she mentioned that she did not step out of the house for a single second - I accused my wife of 24 years of not staying at home till the delivery happens - today morning i had an altercation with my wife over this incident and I ended calling the customer service of Amazon, the advisor was empathic towards the situation however his role was limited, hence I asked to speak to a manager. He connected my call to the leadership team, spoke with Deepak who continuously was antagonising me, I am a 50 year old man with high blood pressure and he had no manners in speaking to a human being (wonder how he happened to be a member of the leadership team - actually surprising). He has no idea how badly it would affect Amazon if anything happens to me or my wife, To be honest the relationship between me and my wife is strained only because of Amazon so I asked Deepak what would Amazon do to keep me a happy and smiling customer. His reply was very antagonising - He said the delivery date is 14/09/2016 and it is still within the returns period, is this customer service? Also mentioned that will try and get the package delivered today to which I replied that it has to as per the Amazon promise and I have paid for the package in advance and it is not COD. He retorted and said that we cannot do anything as compensation, I asked him what is the next step of escalation and he said that he is the last point of contact on the live phone and was not giving me the steps of complaining further, said he will arrange for a manager to call in the next 6-12 hours, informed him that I would reach office at 12:30 pm and as per my company policy would need to switch off our mobiles so requested to mention it in the interactions to his manager, he said he cannot promise the time frame, finally he hung up on me saying that this conversation is leading nowhere - Wow - Congratulations on such a wonderful and brilliant leadership team member. I would really appreciate if I could speak to some one who makes some sense in his interactions with the customers.
Very disgruntled, disappointed, unhappy and irate customer.
Waiting for a solution to the issues & problems created by Amazon.
