This is in regards to my order of a morphy richards 20ms 20-litre solo microwave (Black), order#[protected]. I placed an order for this on 17th may, 2016. Also along with that i ordered 3 more items (Order #[protected] which got to me on 21st may. Estimated delivery for order#[protected] was between 25th-30th may with which i was completely fine. Everything was ok until 26th of may when i got a call from shree maruti courier service. Please find the terrible service provided to me by amazon.In for the past one week. Detailed explanation starts now:
25th june - i got a call from shree maruti couriers (Pune) {contact no.[protected]} at 0905 hours stating that they have my order in hinjewadi, pune and asked me my address. Upon mentioning that i reside at mahabaleshwar which is 120 kms from pune the courier guy mentioned that he does not have delivery service at mahabaleshwar and i should collect my parcel from pune. I also gave him an option to deliver the parcel at my alternative address in pune the same afternoon, however this guy was way to stubborn to get it done and immediately denied my request.
Upon this i called amazon customer care at 0915 hours. I spoke with varun and explained him the complete scenario and was assured by him that i should not worry at all as he would fix the problem.
At 1211 hours the same day i got the second call from shree maruti couriers (Pune) {contact no. [protected]} and the same story about the product cannot be delivered continued. I was confused what exactly did varun do after my 1st call with him 3 hours ago.
So i again called amazon customer care at 1216 hours and was connected to bhaskar. Bhaskar gave me the same answers what varun had given. However he at least mentioned that he would contact the seller as well as the courier guy and get all this sorted.
After my call with bhaskar, i received a call at 1305 hours from ohm electricals (Hyderabad) { contact no.[protected]} who is supposes to be the seller for the morphy richards 20ms 20-litre solo microwave (Black) which i have ordered. This guy also gave me the same words of assurance.
26th june - i got a call from shree maruti couriers [contact no.[protected]], but this time it was from satara which is 50 kms from mahabaleshwar, and ofcourse i get the same reply from this guy aswell. Sorry we do not have courier delivery service at mahabaleshwar. You should either collect the parcel from satara or we will send it back to the seller (I. E. At hyderebad). This frustrated me a lot more.
Leading to this frustration i called amazon again thinking of getting a positive result. This time i don't remember the guy i spoke with, however the end result was the same as before. Just assurance and false hopes. At the end i still had hopes as the estimated delivery was till 30th.
30th may - i waited for my parcel till 1930 hours. As i dint get any response from amazon as well as the courier service about my parcel as the last date for delivery was almost getting over, i called up amazon and was connected to rajat. But to my surprise rajat gave me the same reply what i had from the previous call with amazon. Thus i asked rajat to connect me to one of the senior guys in the department. Rajat at 1st was rigid saying that his senior would give me the same reasoning and it is of no use to speak to him. However upon asking him 2 to 3 times to transfer my call, i finally got to speak with satendra who called himself from the leadership team, but this call made my experience more worse than before. I doubt if he was really from the leadership team. Firstly he was not given any proper information about my problem so i had to again repeat my complete story. While i was on call with satendra, the phone accidentally got disconnected and to my surprise i did not get any call back from this guy who called himself from the leadership. Like really...?? Is this the way you treat your consumers. How cant you even call back. For me it was no use calling amazon back as its a gurantee that my call would have not been pached up with the same guy again. Also when i mentioned satendra that the seller had called me yesterday, he asked me to call the seller and check for my parcel. Calling the seller is not my job, he should have done that. But no stubborn behavior and complete irresponsible guy i would call him.
However more than these guys i was concerned about my parcel so i went ahead and called the seller. I called him for 6 times from 2033 hours tto 2036 hours but no one answered my call neither gave a call back. Leave the same day not even a call back on the next day.
31st may - upon not receiving any call back for my 6 unanswered calls the previous, i had no option but to call the seller and try my luck once again. I called him at 1408 hours upon which the seller mentioned to call him back and give complete details. I received his call at 1710 hours saying that the parcel is in transit and that he was in continuous contact with the courier guy. Again i had no option to wait because as per amazon policies mentioned to me by satendra, i could only claim for my refund after 2 or 3 days have passed the estimated delivery date. So as per their policy i could claim on the 2nd or 3rd of june.
2nd june - as mentioned above about the amazon policy i could do nothing but wait till 2nd to try my luck on getting the parcel. As per my experience for the past 1 week i was not at all expecting any call from either the seller or even the courier and amazon guys. So i contacted amazon for the 5th time in 1 week. This time it was a guy named vishnu. I made this call at 1728 hours. As i was speaking with him for the 1st time, it was necessary for me to narrate him the whole incident happening for the past 1 week. I was fed up repeating the whole thing again and again. This guy gave me the same assurance and promise words which i was hearing for the 5th time now. So again me being out of any option, it was already past 2 days of the estimated delivery date i chose to claim the product as mentioned by vishnu. I was completely furious with the way my incident was handled and thus asked vishnu to make sure that either my product or my money should reach me before 1900 hours of 3rd june.
After my call with vishnu, i spoke with the seller who put me on a con call with the courier guy named arsuk [contact no.[protected]], who promised that i would get my parcel delivered on 3rd june by 1600 hours. He also shared his personal contact and asked me to call him by 1500 hours of 3rd june if the parcel had not been delivered. Hearing this i again had a ray of hope.
3rd june - as my conversation with the courier guy, i was hoping that the parcel would reach me today but there were no traces of the same till 1530 hours. So as requested by the courier guy i made a call on his personal contact no. He mentioned that he was equally surprised about it and would check and give a call in next 15 mins. So i decided to wait, however i guess the courier guy had a different calculation for 15 mins. It was 1650 hours when i decided to call him again. This time he mentioned that he tried calling the guy having my parcel but his no is not reachable. During this conversation he also put my call on hold and tried calling the guy with my parcel but this time it seems he was not ready to pick up his call. Thus arsuk decided to share that guys contact no.[[protected]] and asked me to contact. Here now i have to call one more guy. I gave it a try of calling but no one answered the call.
My patience was about to get over when i called ohm electricals at 1655 hours. I called them 5 times but no one answered, on the 6th call a guy answered and he would check. These were the actual words.
Tired of calling everyone again and again i decided to give a last try and call amazon guys.
This time i was connected a girl and i straight away asked her to transfer the call to some senior guy. So i was connected to haseeb who called himself from the leadership team. I was in a bit of doubt after experiencing a disastrous conversation with satendra. While speaking with haseeb i got to know the claim for the product was not applied for. I guess vishnu just gave false promises and did nothing. I spoke with haseeb for 20 mins as i had to explain the whole incident to him as well. However there was no outcome to this.
At 1936 hours i received a call from a guy named bharat (Contact no. [protected]). He introduced himself from the support team of ohm electricals (Seller), hyderabad. He had called me to discuss about the claim and also asked me to withdraw my claim as he assured me to get everything sorted and that he would give me a call by next day by 1100 hours max.
4th june - as promised by bharat, i was expecting a call from him before 12 noon. However this guy also failed to keep to his promise and i never got a call for the whole day. So finally as the day was about to end. I called bharat at 2136 hours, but he did not answer my call. However later i received a sms from his stating that he was on a personal emergency as his father was unwell and admitted to the hospital. Sorry to be rude, but i actually dint care about his personal issues as he could have transferred my incident to someone else. I was just bothered about my parcel and my money.
5th june - today i still have not got any message or information about my parcel and with complete anger, frustration, dissatisfaction i would like to post my complaint.
Amazon India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
