My daughter (Uhid ac[protected] pid - cwcip16031) was undergoing medical treatment as opd as awell as indoor patient at apollo women's hospital, chennai. During the period of treatment from[protected] to[protected], we faced with lot of inconvenience in carrying out paper works, making payment and purchasing medicines etc. Due to restriction of only one attendant's visit in the hospital. Surgery upon my daughter was done in early morning of[protected]. She was discharged in the evening of same day with an advice to come back on next day i.. E[protected] for further check-up and treatment. As advised by the consulting doctor, my daughter, her husband and myself (Senior citizen) went to aforesaid hospital on[protected] at about 10.30 am and attempted to visit first floor of the hospital building. One male security person standing nearby the staircase and lift did not like it and misbehaved with us. At that moment, the concerned male security person was hot in temperament and inhumane in nature. However, we had able to convince him about the urgency of our visit and at last, he allowed my daughter and her husband to visit 1st floor of the hospital building. As i fee, one attendant is not sufficient to meet the requirement particularly for those patients who undergo surgery and can not walk/move on their own from one place to another. Such patients are in need of two attendants, one for helping the patient in walking and another for completion of paper works, arranging & making payment etc. The security personnel should understand the necessity of two attendants in respect of such patient and should relax the restriction of attendant's visit at least on humanitarian ground. It is worthwhile to mention here that aforesaid security person was kind enough to allow more than one attendant to visit the hospital in respect of a few patient. But in our case (Surgery patient), the said security person had angrily told the patient to go along-with only one attendant whereas at that moment she was unable to walk due to surgery done upon her yesterday. Such type of act on the part of security person not only put the patient in immense hardship in getting proper treatment but also damage reputation of the hospital. The hospital authority may therefore kindly look into it and take action in this regard under intimation to me.

Attached file is self explanatory.in nut cell i admitted my father-in-law mr. Ratneswar guha m/84 in apollo glenegles hospital, kolkata in emergency ward in the bed number 45 on 13/05/2019 at about 5.30 p. M, with head drill and neuro problem.
After 9.30 p. M he was shifted to bed number 523. After that we were asked to collect the "visitor's card" from your admission department at about 9.40 p. M. There mr. Pratap mondal (Jr. Executive) & mr. Susmit chandra lal (Assistant manager) of admission department asked us to wait. We waited up to 10.35 p. M, then they said that they will not issue any "visitor's card" today.
Under the circumstances, and being a senior citizen (My age is 63yrs.), i think it was nothing but harassment, because there were 5/6 of apollo's staffs there, where issuing the card was not so tough job.
Since there was no "complaint register" available there. I submitted a complaint letter and got receipt of the same, which is enclosed below in "add photos".
I have never faced this kind of behavior before.
My request you to investigate the matter & take necessary steps to avoid any future problem.

This is murali we admitted in nellore apollo hospital on 05/07. And on 8th my dad had ent operation and it's was successful. Then today on 10th dr suggested to discharge at 9am and he submitted all discharge notes. But this files not processed for insurance. When i reached the sr personal they are saying 5 hr it will take you have to file. To process the claim you will take this much time this is very bad. For 9am to till almost 12pm file not moved for processing. Please take higt and try to process asap.

In the month of august, 2018, my wife mrs. Amrita mukherjee underwent a treatment of “leiomyoma o[censored]terus” at your esteemed hospital (Apollo women’s hospital) in chennai.

For treatment, we had done some ‘ medical tests’ as per the advice of our doctor, mrs. Alpa khakkar. It was billed as ‘surgi pack’ and amounted to rs. 12, 400/- only. But no detailed bill (Means full details of each amount charged against each service) has been provided to me. As a result, my insurance company has turned down my ‘reimbursement claim’.

Hence, my earnest request to your good office to provide me a detailed copy of the above mentioned bill. It will help me to claim the amount from my insurance provider.

Hope, you will send me the same by return mail.

My patient jatin dogra he is diagnosed with lung cancer nd has icici lombard cashless policy which is continuously rejected by bank because of your doctor's mistake. Dr. Muzahir send wrong patient history to bank. Today is our discharge and we don't have money except this policy. And nobody telling us concern person to complaint this matter. Plz help asap

I was charged 1350 for first time consultation and uhid registration.in addition to it, i was also charged 1530 for wound dressing done by the doctor. And 120 for the dressing material. Isn't the dressing charges part of doctors consultation.?? Paying rs. 3000 for wound dressing really???

We are here in this appolo hospital secunderabad and we noticed the hygiene levels are worst then government hospitals and also the staff has full of attitude don't know how to talk and also the staff even neglects the patients. Why we are here to get treatment or listen to all the # of the staff which has no sence to talk. And the bathrooms here are worst then sulabh complex. I request the health department to take care and please come and check the hygiene levels here. I request ppl not to go to appolo secunderabad. It is worst experience here.

I went to apollo for regular check[protected] with dr anoop kohli for my mother aruna jha. She has cervical dystonia and was treated by dr kohli for 6-7 yrs. Last week my mother was not feeling well and was complaing weekness in her legs and was admitted by m s chaudhary on[protected] to[protected]. The moments he came to know by the dischage summary about the admission he started abusing my father. My mother was not well and he kept quiet. After that when i intervened he said i will not see this patient and take the refund

A patient with cervical dystonia which he was treating for 7yrs she started i crying and seeing her condition i came back

But let me take this opportunity to put this a matter to concerned authority why this nonsense docter misbehaved with my parents. If taking a second opinion is not authorised in apollo.

He may be a good doctor but not a good human being. Pls ask him to be a good human being first and than a doctor

My father is admitted in apollo chennai, greams road. Bed no. 5247. I had initially raised for a cashless payment on 17th to the insaurence. I had received an message saying some document is missing due to which insaurence approval is pending on 17th evening. Then on 18th morning i asked the insaurence help desk showing the message if there is something i need to do to which they replied no, it will be taken care by the insaurence department. Today on 19th morning i came to check again because still the cashless was not approved and there is a surgery planned today. Today the same insaurence people said that i need to submit a doc copy of admission. My question is why was it not informed to me before when i asked about it on 18th. Today just before going to the op, they are asking all these documents and pay amount.

I went to bilasapur apollo for my baby delivery. However they did not provide me with correct documents and my insurance money with uhg is stuck to the tune of 25000.

Could you please help me getting the correct documents so that i can get my insurance claim.

Apollo hospital is the worst hospital in terms of its doctors. Specifically gastroenterology dept. Where doctors are money minded. They fake in front of attendants and try to pull out maximum money they can. They are unable to diagnosis the disease. My experience with apollo hospital was unbelievable and i lost my beloved dad. I still doubt whether they hold a genuine mbbs degree or not. If possible please refrain yourself from consulting the doctors of this hospital.

Appollo greams road really sucks. Not in the patient world. Had booked an online appointment at 5. 00 pm for my day. As i am out of town. My wife had to take my mom along with her 8 months old baby taking half day leave from her job, spend 1500 rs for transport alone and while reached the hospital. The attenders saying doctor left by 12.00 pm itself. Not even have basic curtosy to ensure that the patient has been informed about it. Not even asked for any apology throwing their arrogance to patients. What kind of service is this.. Really sloppy and pathetic patient care.

Rude staff and nurse in charge. They we're arguing regarding the visiting hours in ward.

They misbehaved and said the rule is only one attendent which we accept as apollo rule. But that should be same for everyone. I have been observing in the same room where me and my father weekend staying many people were coming and going for the other attendent.

Is this how it works? Discrimination against patients of other states?

My self vivek kumar, My son (IP Number : DELIP247851, UHID: APD1.[protected] ) was admitted from 8 march to 16 march 2019. My son was not passing stool since last two day. Doctor shree Vineet Bhushan advised to nurse Reena to apply supp. Glycerine. She did not apply properly, I saw after 5 minuts that glycerine came out. I again told the nurse to apply again. She denied and told to apply yourself. I tried to apply but the glycirine came out three times. I told again to nurse to call the doctor. After that Dr. Astha (PAEDIATRIC ) came at around 7:30 PM and remain stand outside the ward. I met her and told about the patient problem and requested to see the patient. She (Dr. astha) denied to see the patient and told that your patient discharge procedure is under process, so we can not do anything. I requested again to see the patient, she told me that the patient need to either readmitted or adviseed to remove stool yourself. I told him that patient not discharge till that time, so your duty to take care of patient. She(Dr. Astha) misbehave with me and told if you are not able to afford the Appolo hospital then why you admitted patient here, and suggest to go other hospital.

I am taking service of appolo hospital to my son treatment since 7 years under Dr. Vineet bhushan. My son admitted 5th time in your hospital but this time I am not feeling good with the behavior of your staff.
I request to take disciplinary action against such ridiculus Dr. and nurse, because this type of staffs are decreasing your rating and also your image as every one knows about good will of Appolo hospital.

I am female taking fertility treatment at apollo hospital international ltd, ahmedabad. I am currently in medicated cycle with letrozole with usg monitoring. On usg scan dt feb 25, 2019 doctor advised me with hmg injection to improve my endometrial lining. But the pharmacist in apollo hospital has given me hcg injection due to carelessness. I was given the wrong injection. Finally all our money, time and efforts went in vain. My treatment didn't yield pregnancy. Am emotionally shattered. How come a hospital of such reputation can so care less with patients. Its life threatening and didn't expect such a poor quality staff. So much negligence. I want to register a complaint. But there is no grievance redress al mechanism in your website. Consider this as my personal complaint and take action immediately. Reach me on my mail i'd and i can submit all my proofs. We patient's come to apollo with lots of hope. With such lackadaisical attitude you are put our life at risk. This should be seriously viewed. I want immediate action to be taken. Keep me posted.

Visit the apolo international hospital gujarat today on[protected]. We are facing here language problem, we are besically from south so.. My wife unable to speak hindi.. So i sleep with her in emergency ward. Now month 9th pregnant women her. With out any concern, security staff misbehave name of security of appolo to my wife at the night time around 2:00 am - 2:30 pm. If it was multispeciality hospital then ok but very bad experience with patients and patient relatives also for rural type little information centre it is very high for middle class people. And comes and gone many times. So feeling like my money is totally west coz of inconvenience by staff and hospital. Why we choose big names instead of rural or small town hospitals? To get better service and satisfaction. It was my first visit ever in apolo hospital, so next time how can i trust opon it? If they can't provide us batter experience at waiting room then how can we go for our minor or major issues belonging medical services.??? So this is wrost experience...

Many times i have came to your representative on their reporting time but didn't get my report. It's essential to submit to doctor. Please check and give me my report as soon as possible.

It is with utter regret that I would like to bring to your notice that one of the doctors in Apollo Gauhati by the name of Dhruva Jyoti Choudhury from the Nephrology department is ill-mannered and behaves in a manner not professional. The incident dates back to 27th of February 2019 when I had inquired about my patient at the hospital. He was rude while replying and I feel a little uncivil. Many doctors that I have come across in Apollo Hospitals are really well mannered and professional but it is not so in the case of Dr. Dhruva Jyoti Choudhury. I would be obliged if the Management kindly looks into the matter.

As per the mobile app the cost of vitamin d complete test is rs1400/-. But on 23rd feb. Rs1940/- each has been charged from me and for my wife for the same test. Please look into and arrange to refund the balance amount of rs1080/-.
