Reg painting activity in apartment complex.
We started the painting of our apartment around April 2021, and due to lockdown we had put it on hold and get it restarted from June 2021. Being an apartment, there are lot of prerequisite s before starting an activity. We see that the safety of existing building structure is being compromised at a number of places in the apartment as well the safety of the workers. The workers don't strictly follow the Covid protocols (wearing the mask), safety belts etc. There has been a number of instances of breakage, no good plan on the scaffolding, spitting by the workers on the premises and Asian paints contact person (Mr. Kaushik Shetty) doesn't seem to have any control on the overall plan. We are almost dealing with the contractor directly for the plan, and it has become a difficult situation almost everyday on handling the painting activity in the complex.
While we chose Asian paints for the brand name, and the thought of best assistance, it has not been a nice experience so far.
