    Dear Sir/Madam,
    We have paid 85% of the amount Rs.85, 212 towards our building exterior painting service to Asian Paints Ezycolour Home Solutions on 31st May 2016. Please find the attached payment receipt for the same. They were supposed to complete the painting work on[protected], but after repeated complaints to their customer care team and local painting team so far the work is not completed in neat manner. Please refer the below complaint reference number which is provided by Asian Paints Customer Care Team and so for no action from their end.

    We also got very poor service in terms of painting quality provided by them. Even though they have told 3 years warranty for APEX product, but while painting itself they were not doing proper. Whenever we raised the issue about the quality, they will disappear from the site for more than two months.
    Please find the attached picture in which there were some area they even didn't paint at all. Actually they were putting sub contract to some local contractor and they were made false promise ASIAN painters will provide best quality of painting service. But we received very much poor quality service which is not yet completed till date (almost 90 days got over).
    Also very poor Customer Service Team. Whenever I asked the quality team to visit the site for the correction they were repeatedly forwarding the same person where he always tell us only that much we can provide. I have really very much struggled to get the work done in each phase of the painting.

    As per the agreement they should get remaining 15% of the work after completing first quote but they haven't completed the first coat till today 9th Sep and some of the places they even not ready to correct/neat painting.

    Please help us to get either refund or better quality of painting service ASAP.

    There are lot to complaint about their style of work in each phase since after selecting the color but neither customer care team nor painting service team ready to listen/providing better service after receiving the payment for longer time.

    This complain got closed by paying extra amount to local service provider and waiting longer period of time. It was supposed to complete by June 2016 but completed on Oct 2016.

    Dear Sir,
    You have already raised APEHS Complaint No:[protected] in your system for the long time, but still no one helping to resolve this issue. Still first coat is not completed and those areas not painted well is not yet correction done. You are just giving email support but so far no action taken from your end. Please remember you have received the payment on 31st May 2016 and it is very shame you took till today but didn't complete first coat. There are 20+ customers in this house never choose your home painting solution in future.

      On seeing the advertisement, I called the company for repairing of damp wall and roof. One Sri Raju Biswas from Color Concept came to be and introduced himself as representative of Asian Paints. He brought another person named Subhankar Dhar for doing the repairing work first and then painting of the room. Advance payment was made to both Subhankar Dhar for reapiring work and Raju Biswas for painting of the room.
      Three months have been over and till today the repairing job has not been completed. Shbhankar Dhar has taken rupees 30000 for rapairing work and he has not given any receipt for the money.

      Thank you for the two lines. My contact no is [protected]. The details of Organisation of the Asian Paints Service Provider of Asian Paints Ezycolour Home Solutions is Colour Concepts 54/1/1 Hazra Road, Kolkata 700019. Phone No [protected]. Colour Concepts collected the money from me on 22.05.2016. Till now the work is not complete. One Sri Raju Biswas who introduced himself to be Sales Associate of Colour Concepts collected the Cheque for painting and another contractor Sri Subhankar Dhar collected another cheque for repairing the damp wall.
      I am cheated in the name of Asian Paints. I will send mail to Mr Ashwin Dani and Mr K B S Anand today and will seek their intervention to get proper relief.
      Even if I do not get relief from the suffering and losses, this correspondence will enable me to lodge complaints to Consumer Courts as a last resort. But I am not interested in legal proceeding and for that reason, I have posted here the complaints.

      I got a phone call from someone who introduced himself to from Asian Paints. I have told him that there is no need to make discussions, rather he should concentrate on completion of work.
      The work has not been done though some persons contacted me over phone introducing himself to be from Asian Paints. There is a peculiar thing in this organisation. All the contractors and its employees introduce themselves as from Asian Paints and Asian Paints do not have any control over them. I have written mail to Mr Ashwin Dani & Mr K B S Anand and they not not even acknowledged receipt of the mail. I do not know whether I have lost my money.

        I have chosen asian paint's apex ultima for my external walls as always, but this time its really depressing that the shade-x149 (Polish blue) which i've selected was suppose to be very bright and light shade. Paint on mixing and on applying, giving the proper shade but the moment it starts drying, the appearance is drastically changing to dark, dull like (Dark forest green-blackish). Hence, my whole building got a dull appearance and my time and money both got wasted. I need a justification and proper replacement of new paint with application charges.

          I engaged the company for painting service. They did a horrible job, after much follow-up the company accepted failure at their end and assured of re-painting the complete area again. Several visits by the team thereafter resulting in identification of one issue or the other that were supposed to be identified and addressed before-hand in accordance with the proposal offered by asian paints home services terms (Appears on their website as well). What was supposed to be stress-free experience has no turned to be a nightmare.

          Several hundred hours of follow-up on toll free no. And emails to the company have gone unanswered. Only assurances and no action.

          Is it that for every thing today, a customer has to approach a consumer court to seek justice. Can't the company's not be self-disciplined and earn respect from clients.

          several emails have been sent at [protected]@asianpaints.com, however none of these responded to. call up the customer care and the team informs the complaint is being escalated. The call remains unattended with no concern. Best part, the website has no contact email address to escalate the matter.

          WHAT AN IRONY?

          I sent a complaint to the CEO/MD of Asian Paints (in line with the recommendation of National Consumer Helpline, Ministry of Consumer Affairs) by speed post. The receipt was acknowledged verbally over a telecall through an official.

          To my surprise, Asian Paints organized to have the dealer/service partner respond to the complaint. As expected, the response is a cropped up story with false claims that can be easily proved wrong. The very fact that the service provider didn't respond timely (through complaints lodged with Asian Paints Customer Care over eight months) gives a feel that Asian Paints is washing its hands off the issue. The Company probably is unaware that it is responsible for the deeds of its contractors.

          A follow-up response was sent to Asian Paints PR division (email) alongside the official who called up earlier but found no actions from the Company. I requested for an independent investigation to determine facts for themselves, however, it appears "Contractors come first, consumers no way."

          An after effect of the complaint to the MD&CEO at Asian Paints has been that the contractor immediately issued an invoice for the work performed followed by a warranty card (1-year warranty for an incomplete and below par paint service delivered). The warranty cover probably covers repainting in event of any issues, however, this would have been acceptable provided the work had been delivered to an acceptable level expected of a leading Paint Service Company.

          I don't want to let ASIAN PAINTS or its SERVICE PROVIDERS offer any service (even with the so called warranty cover) and since the Company has failed to stand by its commitments, I am arranging to get the re-paint work done at my own cost. This is against the guidance of the National Consumer Helpline, Ministry of Consumer Affairs who assessed the situation and advised to contact the District Consumer Court to file a complaint.

          It is in the interests of Asian Paints to review the situation and work ethics of its contractors for eventually in the near future, the division may no more exist on account of poor service and support. Over 120 complaints registered on this portal are yet to be resolved indicative of the performance of the company.

          WHAT AN IRONY; COMPANIES ARE TAKING CUSTOMERS FOR A RIDE KNOWING CONSUMERS HAVE LITTLE TIME TO FOLLOW THROUGH THEIR COMPLAINTS. BEWARE OF WRONG DOINGS OF PROVIDERS AND ENGAGE LOCAL CONTRACTORS TO PERFORM WORK. AT THE LEAST YOU CAN HOLD & SCOLD THEM.
          Having had to follow-up for ~6 months on the case without a resolution, I have given ultimatum to the Company to refund my money by 31/8/16 to enable secure services from an alternate provider. The request fro refund was given earlier through emails, however all the requests/emails were ignored.

          It is time to demonstrate the Company owns its issues and really believes in delighting the customer. 6 months of follow-up is no mean job, probably time and efforts spent are more than the value of the contract.

            Respected Sir
            This is to bring to your kind attention that the painting work done by your authorized officer on behalf of your company is not at all satisfactory, which I vehemently oppose the same in this context.
            And whereas I would like to make my humble submission to the aforesaid authority inter-alia to this matter that prima-facie it exhibits that painting drops are flowing from top to bottom which are quite visible on the wall and dark patches are also there in the wall .
            And secondly the authorized officer have distorted my brand new stairs and furniture with the paint.
            And thirdly l would like to mention that I have undertaken the painting work from the aforesaid company because it is having goodwill in the market but I am really bewildered with aforesaid experiences that I have undergone during the few days of contractual period, the company does not have any bench marks towards the providing of service to its customers who have hired their paid service it is sheer customer harassments, deceptive trade practice .
            Mr Ashok ( company’s authorized officer ) having mobile no :[protected], after contacting with the aforesaid officer who undergone our task of painting in our premises 1 old court house corner, Suit No : 109, 1 st floor, Tobacco house, he never responded to my calls and sms all in vain I have contacted him more than 20 times, this is my humble request that please take up serious legal action for making breach of trust with the customers and making me sustained wrongful loss .
            So at this juncture of situation I would like to make the aforesaid authority that the above two of my submissions comes under the purview of the Consumer protection Act 1986 as amended upto date vide section 2(g) {“deficiency" means any fault, imperfection, shortcoming or inade¬quacy in the quality, nature and manner of performance which is required to be maintained by or under any law for the time being in force or has been undertaken to be performed by a person in pursuance of a contract or otherwise in relation to any service
            And also it comes under the purview of 2(r) "unfair trade practice" means a trade practice which, for the purpose of promoting the sale, use or supply of any goods or for the provision of any service, adopts any unfair method or unfair or deceptive practice .}
            That the acts and omissions on the part of the company`s authorized officer is quite bogus from customers view point and it is not in accordance with service standards
            And the aforesaid authority are being requested to refund my money and to clean the messes you have done or give me the adequate amount compensation so that I can get it done. I will be waiting for your positive responses for a period of 15 days after that I will be legally bound to file my complain before the Honourable Consumer Forum of Kolkata to have redressal about my complain

              We entered an agreement with contractor udbhav marketing solutions [asian paints home solutions], ahmedabad (Gujarat, india) 28/02/2015.

              The contractor for painting was changed to rahul verma on 06/04/2015. The work carried out by rahul verma was unsatisfactory. I went out of country on 21/04/2015, and the work was not completed when i checked it one day earlier. Due to medical reasons, i was out of country for 13 months. When i visited the apartment flat upon my return in june, i found many cracks on the painted walls so i called mr. Sadik who gave me the phone number of the supervisor of asian paints, named riyansh rana +[protected], who came with me to visit the flat. We both saw the painting defects; he assured me that he will discuss with the officer concerned and let me know about this. But he didn't call me, although i attempted to call him many times; he never responded to these calls. I am therefore lodging this complaint on behalf dr. Pooja gupta. I am the power of attorney holder (Bk agarwal).

                Sir,

                I have called the asian paints customer care for taking estimate for painting
                5000 sq ft. They have given reference no 13344441. They informed me that sales person will come between 2 to 4 pm on 18/07/2016. But no body visited the site.

                better not to relay on this they have a horroble customer service. In case of any issue their is no esclation path you keep on contacting customer care you will get only message we will arrange a call back from respective division which will never happen. If you take color consultancy service it is a big mess. My personal experience is they will come for visit at their convenient time, once they come all colors you will be choosing, and will be taken a cheque with assurance they will be sending color codes by email etc but believe me since 15 days i am following for this, guy who came stops responding, complaints given on help line no only reference no and call back assurance are given till date no action no reply to email and no phones calls answered.

                  For painting and wallpaper work in our apartment we have given contract to asian paints ezycolor on the month of march 2016 - where we have done full payment at that time. major issues that we are facing:

                  1. wallpaper has not yet been delivered - we were told it takes 15 days - now it is already fourth month!!

                  2. painting work has been done but we still see old marks in the wall visible in few areas.

                  3. service supervisors are not taking our calls for three weeks. names are: bibek thakur, soumyojit mukherjee, somnath das

                    Asian paints home solutions is nothing but fleecing and cheating their customers. I had availed their services in 2016 in Ahmedabad. They will give you false promises about their quality of work and services but when I actually started the painting work at my residence, I came to know that they are only after Money. Every 2nd or 3rd Day they demand a cheque payment otherwise they just stop working halfway. It is nothing but blackmailing customers as once you have availed the services you are left with no choice.Apart from that they are too expensive. Also I would like to mention that they are too rude and unprofessional in their behaviour once you sign the contract.Their Ahmedabad based dealer UDBHAV MARKETING SOLUTIONS are equally unprofessional and rude.I spoke to the Marketing Manager of this company but he was also good for nothing and rude. Also I would like to share that their Supervisors are Careless and they behave as if they are not supervisors but as if they come from a collection agency. I have also uploaded two images for reference.Such flaking and superficial cracks has appeared at around 5/6 places at my residence within 4/5 Months only. Not worth it.

                      Last five years i gust using only one company brand only asian paints unfortunately this year i got bad experience from you i just talk with your agent he said it's one of best paint in asian paints so i just trust him and ur company so i just purchased 60 ltr royal white in january month when painting will be finished iam very happy then after 4 month i just try to wash the wall unfortunately color was changed still dirty is there so iam not happy about ur paints bcz i spent so much money i loss everything this is not good.. u fully cheating..in advertising very higher products this is very shame ur company so u telme what can i do in next step..

                        Just now i dialled 6218 1000 and was suggested to dial 30303747 to sort my query. Its absolutely disgusting and annoying the person who picked to answer this call at around 2.10 pm -July 1st, 2016, is hopelessly ignorant to even give a basic info. My query is: Can i go ahead with painting in monsoon with Royale Emulsion, interior painting, or to hold because of excess moisture in atmosphere with non-stop raining in Mumbai. Your colour tins DO NOT SPECIFY SUCH INSTRUCTIONS TO CLEAR DOUBTS.

                          Myself deodatt jadhav, we have given pathetic service for the painting & toilet work given to asian paints authorised dealer surya enterprises. The sales executive vaibhav korde misguided us saying first you should fix toilet leakage then only your wall leakage problem will vanish.
                          Considering his advice we have given both toilet and painting work, then he introduced a contractor from surya enterprises hanuman kelel. The work was started from 25th may 2016 and till date the work is still pending, 21 days has been completed.
                          We have been cheated by both the person from surya enterprises and even the project manager abhishek has given us false promises and have rarely visited our place for inspection of work. While doing toilet work hanuman has put a hole from our toilet to the person flat staying just below me.
                          The work was not at all professionally done.
                          I would advice people not to take such services from asian paints as we have suffered a lot and are still suffering for the service provided.

                              Sir we painted our house by giving contract to Asian paints home solution and within one year the paint has been deteriorated. So we called up Asian paints for rework so they came and completed the rework but at that time due to family function we requested them to complete wall fashion work later on. So in turn they provided me a letter in which they mentioned that we will do wall fashion as per convince of the client. So we told in future we will contact you when we want to complete the work so they told no problem. Now when I am contacting them no response is from there side. Since last 7 days I am trying to contact them but no one is responding. Please help me as of now I am tired and I don't want any rework I want refund from the company. The same is applicable for exterior painting which is deteriorated so I want refund of exterior paint as well.

                                  I had ordered my 3 bhk house painting to mr. Asian paints team in ahmedabad. My bp no – 11365754. After 3 coats there is no finishing, scratches, patches and brush marks on wall.

                                  Process deviation
                                  1. Inspection by supervisor no supervisor visited and work started by labour.
                                  2. Start with removing old wall putty/ color without sanding/ removing old paint or putty applied 2 coat putty of putty.
                                  3. Drying time given 4to 5 hrs between 2 coat no drying time given back to back all coats.
                                  4. Proper mixer of paint (1ltr paint + 400 to 500 ml water.) 1 ltrs paint + 1 ltr water mixer used.
                                  5. Feedback / quality 1st phase of 2 bed room completed on 22/5/2016 and feedback given to supervisor/ contactor labor and e-mail to you.
                                  6. Rectification / improvement no rectification done in 1st phase and similar way 2nd phase started and now completed.
                                  7. Feedback / quality during both phases poor quality observed on wall - scratches, patches, brush marks & poor finishing.
                                  8. Response there is no response to my 7 emails to mr. Umesh thawani/ no phone calls / no action.

                                  This is Mahesh. I am facing the same problem as Nitin is facing. I was looking on the internet whether anyone was facing the same issue as I am & found this customer. To sum up my complaint:

                                  I registered my complaint on May 17 or 18 regarding an issue of 'White patches' all over the walls. My house was painted using 'Royal Luxury Emulsion' for interiors and "Apex Ultima' for exteriors & the painting job was completed only on May 7. Within 10 days I started to see striking white patches on the walls & while trying to remove the stains using water, it left trace marks all over.

                                  One of your representatives visited on May 18 and admitted the issue was with the paint & it happens n some batches. So he asked me to cover a certain portion of the wall with plastic cover to avoid the airflow for 2 weeks, so he could find out the cause. The eventual period was over on June 2. After some calls, the concerned person agreed to do the re-paint as it was agreed upon mutually that the issue is with the paint.

                                  Re-painting started yesterday here & I wanted them to do only 2 rooms to test, so the same issue shouldn't resurface again. Same procedure was followed: 1 coat primer, 2 coat of 'Royal Luxury Emulsion' Matt finish but after wiping a small portion of the wall with sponge, it leaves trace marks again. This is after 24 hours of the painting. Now, this happened even after a technologist from Asian Paints visited the house & checked the walls and instructed the painters to go with the paint. So, I stopped painting rest of the rooms as I already see this issue again & not want to waste everyone's time.

                                  If Asian paints is India's no.1 painting solution provider, I don't know why they haven't addressed this problem yet. I've checked with my neighbors too who recently painted their house with Asian Paints but they seem to be unaware of the issue. But first things first, I have spent a lot of money and time for this & have no patience to settle this. I want Asian paints to look into this issue ( of white patches on walls, cleaning with water that leaving trace marks) immediately in their Quality Check & Analysis department. If failing to provide a solution, rest assured I will do what I can in my neighborhood & find out customers who face the same issue and lodge a legal complaint collectively against Asian paints for delivering cheap product in the name of Luxury product.

                                  Have your team provided you feedback that present condition of work is not proper.
                                  During meeting your team has agreed for bubbles on all walls, scratches on ceiling, Brush marks on all walls, color is coming on our clothes (This paint is water proof, can wash with water). These all due to improper painting process done by Asian paint.(Ref my earlier communication dated : 28.5.2016). This is done 100% intentionally & negligence from all concerned officers of Asian Paint (I have written communications with all senior officers of Asian Paints)

                                  Payment made 100 % advance for 100% perfect work. Please don't think that after getting 100% advance payment you can ignore customer and not providing proper work. Please provide me your final decision on work, refund, warranty etc. so I can process further.

                                    I have engaged Asian Paints (ezycolour home solutions) for painting of my flat at Dwarka, New Delhi. I have also used their colour consultancy service. On being advised by their team we also agreed to apply "marvelloplast" on all the walls. Advance payment was taken & the work started after about 10 days of the promised 3 days. In first room marvelloplast was used which is white in colour but in the next room they started applying a brown color material. When I raised my doubts I was told that marvelloplast comes in brown colour too but somehow I was not convinced. When I brought this issue to RA's notice he also told the same thing. They continued to apply the same brown material for next two days & I always thought something was wrong as this material on drying up was not becoming as hard as marvelloplast applied in first room. It looked & felt exactly like normal POP. Today, when I became fully convinced about my line of thought I decided to check their stock lying in front of our main door. When I turned those three bags I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THAT ALL THE 3 BAGS were not in sealed condition & instead their mouths were stitched loosely with a red thread after filling with POP (pics attached). It confirmed that I was being cheated & Asian paint's team was applying POP on our walls after taking payment for marvelloplast. I have been harassed & cheated by Asian Paints team. Will somebody take a note of this cheating & harassment and do justice to me!

                                      I have contracted the work of wood finish (Pu polish - 2 rooms, pu palette - 1 room) and wall painting (3 rooms+stairs) to asian paints home solutions. The work began on 26th march 2016, 1 day later than committed. Almost 2 months down the line the work of wood finish is still not complete. The quality of the work is pathetic. Since last 35+ days the workers are struggling to get the desired finish but are unable to. The workers are far from trained. The equipment used (E. G. Polish sprayer/blow gun and the machine) were faulty. The supervisors and technicians are good for nothing. They are unable to guide the workers and give quality output. The workers don’t listen to the supervisors or even their superiors. Technicians from vadodara, ahmedabad, surat and mumbai have visited the site so far and none have been able to sort out the problems. The request to change the sub-contractor is either grossly neglected or asian paints is unable to fulfil (It seems most likely that the vadodara unit has only one painter/sub-contractor registered with them for the wood finish work). Dealing with workers, supervisors, technicians and unit head is a nightmare. They don’t give work schedules. When they give after a lot of chasing they are unable to stick to it. The don’t give proper updates.

                                      Overall they have wasted over a month of our time, and even today i have no clue when the work will be completed. They have spoilt the veneer and overall the furniture. They have damaged the tiles at places (As not properly covered) and the bathroom fittings.

                                      We have 0% satisfaction from their work despite having paid 100% upfront. Asian paints claim expert advice, trained professionals and mechanised tools. None of this is true and i’ve been misled. We were hoping to sit back and relax as the asian paints (So called) ‘experts’ take over. This never happened.Instead all peace of mind is gone and we have to deal (& argue & request & tell-off & what not) with various levels and numerous personnel of asian paints staff on a daily basis.

                                      I demand a complete refund for the contracted work. Also i demand a compensation for the damage to furniture/veneer, spoiling its look, harassment and ordeal we have gone through.

                                      Look at the pictures to get an idea of the quality of the work they have delivered.
                                      Asian paints home solutions is a big no no to everyone!! They’re rubbish.
