In reference to my complaint: LA0071394,

I am an asianet digital tv subscriber (LA[protected]. I have always issue with payment in inactive period. I paid my last bill on September 2018, and i was told about the prepaid migration to be done soon to avoid the billing for inactive period. This time also i have found out that my bill is provided till the month of June even as we did not use and the connection seems to be inactive from March 2019 as informed by the customer care representative.
I have been paying the bills when i reach hometown and have been paying bills even in inactive period.

I could find that around Rs. 2000 was billed as BFP charges for pre-migration period when the connection was inactive. I have paid the bill even though i felt cheated, but again came to know the need to upgrade the set top box to HD (Only after i selected an HD plan and tried to view it).

I have to pay around 4000Rs (including the 2000 mentioned above) for the service i never got. As a long term customer of Asianet, i would like to request you to look into the matter and provide exemption.

    I have paid cable TV Subcription in advance for 14 months and it is valid up to 30 June 2019. But after TRAI regulations they started charging according to their whims and fancies and taken an amount of Rs 990 as installation charges without my authority. Now they say i have to pay Rs 660 as dues and blocked my connection. I have given complaint on phone and email and they have given token number. But no action taken or heard my side.       I am writing for my brother-in -law, as he is out off station.This connection is at thripunithura, Kerala.Asianet digital is forcing to choose their package, not possible to delete channels that are not viewing like HINDI, TAMIL etc, &have to pay more. His sub -code is GA[protected]Mahendra varma)His package is KERALA GOLD HD, there are many channels are not viewing.When ever i send many times mail to customer care, asking, how can choose channels online, no reply .As TRAI says customer can choose channels by their on interest, but ASIANET not giving such option.My mobile no:[protected], mail ID [protected]@gmail.com.Please help me.

        Even after multiple requests, Asianet still hasn't disconnected my connection and still generating bill. I had a Rs.899 +tax per month connection and was offered a speed of 50 Mbps, inturn what I get was 10-15 Mbps average while I have a Jiofi with Rs.399 connection for 3 months which gives me 20-25 Mbps speed. I requested multiple times via mail to Asianet to disconnect as it is not worthy enough . Still they are billing !

          Kannante radha is a good serial telecasting from monday to friday 6.30 pm. The serial is very intersting and my and family including my kids love to watch the serial. We can watch the serial only if our works are finished. The timing of the serial is the problem.in this time people are innvoled in their works and would miss this show. Serials like seetha kalayanam have no value to the society only showing some cruelity to the people. Kannante radha is a very moral value serial that should be encoraged. Can you change the timing of kannante radhaserial in between 7pm to 10 pm. Please its my humble request

            My asianet tv connection was disconnected today without any information. I have requested for invoices/bills for making payments through customer care services. But so far they didn't send any bills on my email or send any messages to my mobile. I happened to face lots of inconveniences due to this sudden action. Issuing of bills/invoices is a normal accounting procedure and it should be provided to us in advance for making timely payment. Hence, i request to take appropriate action for disconnecting my tv without making proper intimation. Also request to arrange the connection as quickly as possible.

                Dear sir/madam,

                Sub: regarding asianet subscriber id# aa91104709

                This is a complaint against a cable tv operator called asianet satlite communications ltd. A lot of customers have been facing problems and no one can do anything except suffering from their monopoly and threats.

                My case is i have paid 1500 rs initially and took their asianet digital set of box including initial 3 months subscription for cable tv on 13th july 2018. They informed us we need to opt for a new plan once the initial 3 months subscription is completed. After 3rd month as we were out of station, neither we didn’t opt any plan nor we didn’t ask them to extend the plan. By january when we reached back to the home town, obviously as the cable connection was disconnected, we asked for reconnection. By that time they were claiming to pay another 3 months subscription fee as we didn’t inform them for disconnection after initial 3 months subscription. And they were saying evenif you were not using the connection, it was active. The question is we never opt for any plan or extend the connection, and without my consent how can they extend the connection after 3 months and claiming unnecessary bills.

                So we raised this concern to customer care, on 24th january 2019 and the ticket no is aa03180150. They told me will check and revert but there were no response in any means. Finally again when i reached to the customer care they asked me to contact the local asianet office at murinjapalam, trivandrum, kerala. I tired to dialed them for a couple of weeks and finally a month later somebody picked the phone and i was narrating the same story repeatedly. They were also asked me to pay the dues, then only they can give reconnection. This ended up with unnecessarily spending initial amount for set of box and connection and now i am waiting for more than 6 months to get this issue resolved. Otherwise i would have to choose another provider and again i need to spend the initial amount to set of box things.

                After six months even if my tv connection got disconnected and asking money for re-connection rs. 1906. Now i am getting frequent messages from them and claiming rs. 2194. Seems every month their reconnection rate get increased.

                This is happening from kerala, trivandrum, kannammoola accounts division if you check their customer satisfaction rating in online you can realize that. They are still cut off my connection to pay more 2194 rs. Within this subscription period.

                I have no hope to get any justice, but just register here only for my peace

                    9th may i registered a complaint regarding this. My subscriber id is EB92002279. Not yet solved. Very worst customer service from asianet digital. Everytime they are telling that it will be solved within hrs... But not yet solved.my channel package includes 246 channels. One third of the channels are still missing. Signal not found showing . Asianet technician came and told that there is a issue in the line but not yet rectified by them

                      I have been request to your customer care for my bill details on[protected], but they have not helped me out. On same day i have lodge another complaint through your website, two days after one technical team member called me and asked about the issue. I informed him that i don't have any technical issue and my issue is regarding the bill details. He informed me that i must go to your local office to get the bill details and without solving the issue they have closed the compliant. Since my channel selections and my bill payments are done through your website/online payment you must provide me the bill details through my email. Till now no bill has not been provided in the case.
                      Kindly look in to the matter and provide me bill details of feb 2019- may 2019

                        Hi,
                        I have been irritated seeing advertisements of other upcoming programs under the screen which almost occupy 15-20 % of the screen and most disturbing while watching other programs like movies... Etc. They are already showing enough advertisements in between the programs as full screens and the one which i am referring to is far annoying. They are not providing the services free of cost, we pay for each channels, and now the trai has introduced a pathetic plan which is not at all convenient to viewers of cable channels.

                        Request to help us stop the advertisements at-least during a program in half screens. Let them leverage the time they are taking in between the programs to show the ads in full screen.

                          Repeating same complaints, network issue till 5 months. No technicians arrived yesterday 3 times complaint registered, today (25.04.2019) two times complaint registered, requested fiber cable to solve this issue, they carelessly handling this situation, not resolved this issue till now neither the cable not changed. I want to discontinue the asianet internet service and want refund.

                          The Trai website (https://channel.trai.gov.in) shows more than 400 bouquets for selecting your favourite channels, but Asianet Digital gives you the option of only 38 bouquets to choose . Other service providers are giving you the same number of bouquets as mentioned in trai website.

                            I am not getting any solution from customer care. I like to renamed it as CUSTOMER FIRE. Your customer care service people are speaking without seeing the customers request . Their service is very poor especially females.

As we already informed about the cancellation of internet connection about month ago, but no action has been taken till now.                                   I had subscribed for a la carte channels (52 nos) and paid an amount of rs 960 on 1st april 2019. Even after they received the amount i found that several channels that i had paid for were not being received. I visited the asianet office at thiruvananthapuram on 2nd april and informed them of the same. I was told that the plan has not migrated and i had to pay rs 12/ for it. Nothing was done and i registerd a complaint on 3rd april which was not resolved, but the following day i received a message saying that it has been closed. As i was away from station i could not follow up the position of the channels. However on my return i again registered a complaint on 9th april. On 10th i was informed that while opting for a la carte one doesn't receive all the channels selected and that there is a limit to the channels that are received. (Nothing of this sort was mentioned in the site while selecting/accepting payment online) further i was given the contact no. Of a person who could solve the problem and my complaint ticket was abruptly closed. I contacted the person and was told that the set top box had to be changed and it would be done promptly. On a reminder today, the 12th of april, i was told that there is a shortage of set top boxes.
                                  April 1st is april fool's day - not the entire month! What kind of service are they providing? If they do not have the channels that i selected (And paid for), then why don't they just admit it and remove those channels from their site (Which, by the way, is absolutely rubbish). I demand a solution to this - since it has been 11 days since i paid the amount and the validity of the amount is only till may 03. They seem to be following the adage "customer is king - only till he pays the amount". Thoroughly disgusted!

                                  i had posted a complaint regarding not receiving channels I subscribed for on 12 th April. there is still no follow up from Asianet side .Don't they have a system of getting back to the customer and solving the complaint, What sort of service do they provide. Thoroughly disgusting, and the English channels show the same stuff daily.

                                    I have the following complaints.

                                    1. Your customer care agent in the given number, never picks up the call. How can we give complaints or feed backs or get help?

                                    2. You have not given the regular services for more than 2 weeks after trai guidelines, i. E after 29th jan 2019. How can you charge for that? Have you discounted for not providing services? Or did you contact the customer in this regard?

                                    3. How could you send inflated bill when i did not opt for it? Could you please ask your representative to talk to me and clarify things? My subscription was rs210 per month and i want discount for services not provided for over 2 weeks.

                                    4. I am getting reminder through sms for payment of rs989, what is the basis ask your representative to send me the details.

                                      Subscriber code : cn61157. This is the 11th time i am having full service outage in the past 35 days and i have called more than 30 times to register a complaint. The network is out almost every weekends and even when registering complaint, it takes 5 to 6 hours for getting it resolved.

                                      I have also sent email complaints numerous times and each time they reply with apology response and repeat the same thing after couple of days.
