Hi,
I would like to give you a compliment about your customer care/ servies that your customer care is 'terrible'. I have already called you many times (Monday onwards) and told you the issue about set top box and asianet digital connection problem. I was unable to watch tv on last one week. When i called the response from your side is very pathetic. It was really disappointing and i'm sick of your service for last one week.

Either i may have to go to the consumer court or i would like to get a proper reply or make it clear soon. I'm not getting what the heck you are doing with the complaint i have reported to you, last one week we can't watch the programs. As a paid customer you must give me a proper connection and services. I hope you understand the seriousness or you should understand it now.

    I am an Asianet Digital TV Customer staying in Trivandrum. I have started using Asianet Digital TV last year, by buying an HD set top box for close to 4000 Rs and paying a whole year's rent in advance for emerald package. I find that they stop providing me some channels without notice and without compensating for disruption of service. I decided to review the package i have subscribed to after an year of poor service, before renewing the subscription package.

    However, Asianet denies me access to their channel list for each package, which every service provider would give to existing and prospective customers. The page for packages on the asianet website (http://www.asianetdigital.co.in/packages.aspx) is under construction for a long time (screenshot attached). I went to their local office at nalanchira to get the channel list and there I was asked to send an email to their customer care, which I did. However, I did not receive a reply with the channel list, but instead they gave me the names of all the packages they have, like Gold, Diamond etc.

    I called up their customer care for this information when again they narrated the package names, but no information about the channels available in each package. I talked again to the floor supervisor, who refused to provide information by email, but said he could check the list and confirm availability for channels in each packages, if i could read him a list of channels I want. They asked me to visit a local office to try my luck once again.

    Asianet frequently changes their service (a whole list of channels just disappeared) and so they do not want to give any commitment to their customers in writing, so they refuse to give any channel list to customers. So Asianet customers are expected to pay for a package they recommend and hope to get a good set of channels. The attitude I receive from the office and the call center is extremely bad and they openly told me that they cant commit to any services.

    I feel that I should be complaining to TRAI. Just to show that they are doing something, they sent me a list of channels for the package I have "already subscribed to" with a disclaimer that this list is not final and the channels may change at any time.

      We have both Asianet HD and the normal Asianet satellite cable vision connections at home. For the past 3 days both connections are not working properly and more than 90% of the channels are unavailable. Today morning onwards complete loss of connection started and till 8 in the evening connection has not been restored. When contacting their customer care, all they do is ask for the set top box serial number and to restart the same.

        I paid 1 year subscription in advance for all channels except zee tv package. And i was able to view all channels for a while. But now i am not able to view ten sports and its channels. When i contacted customer care[protected] they are asking for an extra payment for rs. 250 for an year subscription of this channel.

        When we payed the initial charge for an year they have assured that all these channels will be available for an entire year.

          I have been having connection issues from past two months. On a daily basis i had to call the customer care support to get them to do something at their end which would temporarily solve the issue. I have to restart my modem once they did this to get this working.

          However, i keep facing the same issue the next day, and the next day, and it keeps on going.

          I tried to call this guy at the palarivattom office (Mr. Sapath) but he wouldnt pick up the call. I think he's their manager.

          I have suffered for 60 days, and i've had enough. I am disconnecting my subscription, getting my deposit money back.

          I hope reliance serves better.

          So my advice to y'all people.
          Asianet broadband - dont count on them. Not trust worthy. Very poor after sales support.

            I had filed a complaint regarding faulty set top box on 9th july 2016. first off, no service person visited my place till date, not even for a formality. they assumed the issue and closed my complaint saying that the warranty period for the stb is over. then i visited the enchakkal regional office personally for the purchase of a new stb. they demanded rs.900 for immediate replacement of new stb and rs.275 for replacement after 8 days. i was ready for the urgent replacement and then they said that the accounts section is not working at the moment and they can register for a request for new stb and the payment can be made duly at the time of delivery. i did as told and returned. now i am getting concerned about my order for the new stb, because my order has not arrived yet, even after five days of complaint. i have been your customer for the last 12years. if this is how you treat your loyal customers then i would be left with no choice other than shifting towards some other service provider. kindly react asap.
            P. s: i had to write here because their online complaint registration site itself is not working properly. pathetic!!!

              I am facing picture and sound breaking problem since last one month and reported this to your customer care no [protected] several time and technician from irinjalakuda attended the complaint several time. But we are totally upset that they could not rectify the problem until now. If this continue we almost all people near by me planning to bar asianet service and taking decision not to make the payment against your worst service and also planning to change the connection to the available local service provider.

              Hope you understand the situation and take necessary step to rectify this

                    It's quiet embarrassing experience with you customer support team for the last several months. Whenever we faced a problem with your service naturally we will try for your help over phone numbers including customer care helpline number. They are much more better than whom you posted in Kollam branch. We faced lot of problems from these fellows. I am seeing for the first time a Ltd company is having a pathetic condition like this only because of your companies irresponsible employees. The attitude towards the customer from the employees is like they are providing us a free service. Is it a service sector or a Ltd company? Attending a phone call is just like a comedy to them. They not bothered about the phone bell ringing. And moreover a lazy answer like we will look in the matter shortly. This shortly means it will take minimum 3 days to clear it off. This is the attitude of your employees.

                    Complaint:
                    Today on 3rd July 2016 at 2.10 pm we complained about the screen is showing initializing but not initializing. I tried several times to your Kollam branch number but they are not even having the curtsy to lift the phone. Then I contacted in your customer care number then one lady answered that my complaint had been registered and passed it to Kollam branch. Please keep in mind that my house is situated just one and half kms away from your esteemed organization. Nobody attended the case so far. Again I made a call to your customer care and one Mr.Rindo answered me that the complaint had been forwarded to Kollam office staff (Technical) who's name is Mr.Rajeesh. After asking several times they told me that my complaint number is BA01055377. Is it a esteemed organization and Mr.Madhavan sir working as Chairman. So pathetic. My details are given below and I hope there will be some action with in no time. Please consider that myself and wife are working in prestigious hospitals and will not be available in day times in house. My details are given below.

                      From Saturday night there is no cable connection. And no one came for repair on sunday also.. This is not for the first time whenever there is rain the asianet cable connection goes.such a poor service and recently they have increased their monthly subscription charge... Same is the case of their broadband connection.
                      Their customer service is very poor..

                          I registered a compliant about setup box not working, via the centralised customer care on 18th June. The technician came on the 21st only after multiple calls to the local office in East Hill, Calicut, even after this. He replaced the setup box with another one and said some channels may not work for some time. We could see atleast some channels then. However, after we switched it off and started it again later, no channels could be seen.A message said 'channel not subscribed' for every channel except ACV. Since then, I have been trying to get it fixed. The centralised customer care keeps trying to refresh the connection using the mac id but have been unsuccessful so far. They have forwarded my complaint to the local office also multiple times in vain. The local office does not pick up calls at all. I finally got the AMO's contact number for this region and he made the local office call me on 27th. They promised to send someone but that hasn't happened yet. The office is yet again unreachable. I can't reach the nodal customer care officer or any of the numbers listed in the website for calicut region. I have a yearly subscription including AMC and I am fed up. Fix it immediately.

They have forwarded my complaint to the local office also several times but the problem is still unresolved. in vain. The local office does not pick up calls at all. They promised to send their team, but the complaint is still unresolved. The Calicut office is not attending telephone calls. I can't reach the nodal customer care officer or any of the numbers listed in the website for calicut region. Under this circumstance I am forced to move legally.

                            I have been using asianet broadband from january 2016 onwards, my subscription id is cn92702, i have taken subscription plan of 510 rs with speed 1mbps. I rarely get that speed. The network is very much overloaded. Poor speeds, poor customer care. I am planing to file a case in consumer court regarding the issues. I am fed up with the service. I never suggest any of my friends and relatives to use asianet broadband.

                              Asianet Serials Chandanamazha, Parasparam, Karuthamuthu etc are depicting extreme sad scenes . The ICU and related hospital scenes are very common nowadays making it so boring. The serials want the viewers need to be always in sad mood, cry, cry cry, so emotional, background so sad hence artificial. When it will be natural scenes depicting real life incidence?

                                Am getting this message "this settop is not authorised for this network please contact your cable operator"...

                                For the past few days your cable connection is not available from morning 9 a. M to evening 7p. M.. And today now this message is being shown.. I don't understand why are you not treating your customers properly..
                                I have complained a lot of times and still no response.. Very very very very poor service..

                                Anyway i have already discussed this matter with the consumer forum in internet. And now am also going to register a case in consumer court stating that asianet has cheated all the customers..

                                  My set top box is not working from 19 May 2016. My customer ID is AA91037731. (Mr. Premkumar, C-302, NABARD Gardens, Dr. Pai Road, Poojapura, Thiruvananthapuram - 695012). I had lodge a complaints on many occassions viz no. 01162648, 01162642, 01162483. Till now nobody has come. When I contacted them over phone they told me that my AMC is not paid that's why no services will be provided to me. Every month the sales person comes home for payment but have never informed me about this AMC. please take some action.

                                    I was using a prepaid connection of Asianet with Sub Code PCN 4431. Due to connectivity issue and poor service of Asianet I decided to change plan to Post paid hoping that will get a better service.The plan change got activated only after 3 emails and 5 calls to the customer service executive.
                                    A new plan was activated with Sub Code CN- 101959. The plan was supposed to be activated with a higher speed modem as requested by me by paying additional cost as agreed. The plan but got activated without fixing new modem and with this modem the speed was supposed to be 10Mbps aprox. When I did the speed test the speed was less than 2.5 Mbps at all tests. I requested them to provide 20 Mbps with new modem by e mail. Also I found that there was lot of connection drops after the new Plan. After initiating the plan they never answered the e mail nor they tried to resolve my issues. The customer service executive also does not provide any phone number or contact details of Noidal Officer. The next day after the plan got activated the connection dropped for the whole day. When I contacted the customer service they dont know anything and said its a temporary problem. I called up the asianet Noidal officers office and they never picke the call. I then called another complaint number and they blaimed kseb and metro work in kochi for the faults. They are not able to resolve any connection issues. I have now sent mail to terminate my connection. I will opt some other good operator. Worst service Asianet.

                                      A complaint was registered to the Cochin office on 26.05.2016 with ticket no. HA01205156.As the children are having holidays I made reminder calls to the office on 26, 27, 28th of this month. Till now the problem was not corrected. The same problem was there about 6 months back and it took about one week to get it corrected. so the customer service is very poor for Asianet. So now I opted for Airtel HD services and wecan see the TV. The problem is Ihave opted for 2 years of Asianet services in August 2015 and paid an amountof Rs.5900/-So now I want to disconnect Asianet and to get the balance amount refunded

                                        We had complained about "no service"/connectivity to Asianet on 26 May 2016 at 1 PM but never got a response. Though their customer service promised to resolve the issue within 24 hours, there has been no response till date.

                                        Even after repeated follow ups, their response has either been rude or no response at all.
