Asianet, which has a reputation for providing wholesome entertainment, is fast losing that tag, because of the silly, inane, stupid, illogical, ridiculous and absurd turns many of the serials are taking. For e.g.
1. Pranayam: The serial had a fairly good story line to start with. But these days just to keep the serial going ( perhaps for want of anything better), the rivalry between Sharan and Prakash is going to ridiculous lengths. Initially they were shown as rival business tycoons, indulging in all sorts of absurd things to upstage each other. Then one fine day Sharan becomes Prakash's employee, His designation being CEO. Perhaps then Prakash is Super CEO. A CEO is then ordered and assigned by Prakash, to do duty in an Ad. Shoot involving his daughter.
2. Karuthamuthu: this too had a fairly good story line in the beginning. But now it is deteriorating into trash. Some months back the viewers were given the impression that, the serial is reaching a conclusion, with the reunion of Karuthamuthu and Dr.Balan being aired at the end of each episode. Then as usual, since no substitute serial was in the horizon, it got a fresh lease of life.Then we see Dr.Mareena plotting murder, blood, gore and mayhem from inside the jail, while her targets are shown as helpless nincompoops, scared out of their wits. Dr.Balan goes to Dr.Arun's house just to see the much talked about, and highly praised Paru. But at the last moment she has to go for a bath. ( silly and absurd reason to say the least ) and dr.balan goes away without meeting her. The characters Karuthamuthu and Kanya are made to lose their memory at the whims and fancies of the script writer, just to suit the plot. Please spare the viewers further agony and give it a quick burial.
3.Chandanamazha: Enough to say that, the silly, stupid, ridiculous, absurd, shameless antics of Mayavathi are sufficient reason to switch channel, when this serial is being aired.
Please do not test the patience of the viewers further, and try to bring these inane serials to an end. Else the viewers only option would be to migrate to other channels.

Very aptly said. In the serial Karuthamuthu, Jayan is shown as taking his brother Dr.Balan's car from the workshop, and the next thing one sees is a tipper lorry coming and dashing against it, in a lonely stretch of road. Absurd to say the least. How did the lorry driver know that, the car is coming at that time, and along that road. Asianet perhaps thinks that, the viewers are fools, and will take whatever is dished out, hook line and sinker.

      For the last two weeks we are unable to watch the tv due to the poor /non reception of cable tv signal.The connection we were purchased from asianet digital through our local cable operator sai's cable vision, karali junction, sasthamcottah, kollam-690521( sub division of Venad Cable).we were constantly complaining about the problem but they are not responding positievly or answering the phone till date.please consider the matter most urgently and provide a solution, otherwise we are forced to complaint the matter with consumer court and TRAI.

        Me and my family is a regular viewer of the new serial broadcasting in asianet 'chindavishtayaya seetha'. It is very sad to report that it is such a non sense stating in a serial in such a reputed channel. That father character named'chempakaseeril narayanan' as seetha's father is speaking just stupids against her own daughters. Kerala's culture is been spoiled by showing such rubbish in reputed channel. Pls take neccessary steps against this.

          I am customer of Asianet broadband service (Cust id - TV58397). My connection speed is 10mbps and I am paying a bill of Rs. 1600 per month. From past 6 months I am getting a very low speed of less than .5mbps during night time and through out the day on holidays and weekends. I made complaints to customer care atleast 100 times and also contacted higher authorities so many times, but I dont receive any resolution for this issue. I am very much desperate with the service provided and Asianet is not giving any value for customers money. I want my bill amount back, which I paid last 6 months. Please take necessary action for this. I am attaching screenshots of sppedtest done at different times with this.

            I had taken one year internet subscription (code tv108528) on 19/04/2016 and valid up to 30/04/2017, but the service disconnected on 07/10/2016. why this was happened? my contact number while taking the connection on 2015 was [protected] and that was not in service. my present available contact number is [protected]. this connection i was taken because of your good customer service and expected a quick action to get the connection back immediately. this might have happened due to the wrong entry from your side or so. i am really annoyed by the irresponsibility of asianet. kindly take immediate action on the matter.

              Sir,
              I sunil kumar, (Sub code : tv117464, mob no : [protected]) asianet broadband user. I several time tried in your customer care no [protected], but it replied that busy / reps call u back... Like responses...

              Sir, i am using 510 plan... Past four month you change that plan and charged more with out taking our suggestions... When ever you msg me and call that time i call customer care several time for change my plan on 400... Replay was same as above. Your rep called me for pending bills, that time i also remind the same, they told me to call c-care no..
              It is not good you are changing plan yourself.. If it good pay your self for me.
              I have pending four bills ie only 1600 i can pay for that if you agree with that call me soon for paying bill and avoiding disconnection procedure. I cant pay 250 for that also...

              Only one no you are using in entire kerala.. For help... Pls wide it..

                Sir,

                i had applied for Asianet Digital TV connection (INDI no 182904) on 26 Sep 16 and shifting of the existing Broadband connection (CN 74966) to new residential address on the same day. the service engineers from the company came on 28th after repeated calls and facilitated the cabling work of both connections. however post cabling they were reluctant to provide Set top box for Tv connection stating absurd reasons and the router which was connected was malfunctioning owing to some error. the router error was later confirmed as error in the cabling and still continues to exist.
                The set top box team has never showed up after the cabling day, and have conveniently decided to not respond back or inform us about availability of set top box or plan of action of the connection. The issue has been completely handled in a most unprofessional manner ever.

                  We have taken broadband connection from asianet that also a unlimited connection our asianet register no is kt29423. We are paying high amount of bill, but there is no connection. Customer service is not bothered about this. They are not giving any proper response. Its been long, but time to time bill will come. But we are not getting proper connection and promised speed.                     I like some characters in this serial. Especially Amrutha - a stupid foolish who doesnt have self respect. Does not understand d meaning of being a woman...this character is a -ve impression of woman.
                    2nd best characters - Both MIL's - first one who knows only to give orders : without any brains n arrogance and the other who is d tail of first one : no brains to use and follows only orders.
                    These are surely d major drawbacks of a serial n shows only -ve impresion of woman.
                    The next best character - Both dad characters : no boldness n fits completely as "The Tail" of the first MIL.
                    The most effective character - Arjun Desai : no acting knowledge, no need to use basic knowledge...knows only to follow orders jus like other male characters.
                    These characters r jus jokers of this serial.

                    Attractive characters in this serial - Mayavathi n her daughter Varsha: these use their brains as per d situation. I live these characters as they show tat watever d situation, they can face it instead of crying like Amrutha d whole day.

                    Please stop this serial as it gives a negative impression about women mainly. It shows tat women can b manipulated in many ways which is really a shame. The women playing these characters should b ashamed of themselves to picturize Indian woman as weakling. Really a shame!!!

                      I have a connection of asianet having sub code: cn105617. I took a plan of 1mbps - unlimited. But it has been more than 15 days, the speed is damn slow.. The speed test shows 110kbps. Repeated complaints has yielded no effect. Customer care says that the problem will be resolved soon but its been more than 15 days, still no action on the broadband speed. The connection is in the name of jishnu raj - ph: [protected]:

                        We have registered for shifting asianetdigital cable connection from kalammashery to Kozhikode on last july27 . we didn't get our connection yet. There were 760 rupees due amount at the time registering, we pay that amountand cleared all dues. But now without giving connection there is a due amount 380rupees. Kindly give our connection as early as possible.

                          In the first week of June 16, the modem gave in. Customer care was contacted and a replacement was done when I was on duty on condition that it is going to incur around Rs. 2500/- to which I agreed. Just after a week again the the Modem stopped working. On closer examination I realized that the replaced Modem was an old discarded gadget piled in your warehouse. I personally brought this to the notice at the Asianet office at East fort where I was told that the new Modem is out of stock and it might take a few weeks to arrive.Then i told them that I was not interested to continue the service with the old Modem anymore because of frequent disruption and having paid the amount in full I am to be given an old throw away stuff fixed at my place. I have not had any connectivity from the third week of June to till date. In August I was told to pay around Rs.8000/- for the next annual subscription for which I had not requested. I told them that I have not used the data from the 3rd week of June to 31st July for which I had already paid because of the deficiency in the replacement with a new Modem. In the second week of Aug 16, the Modem was replaced with a new one. It was at this time that I placed a request for asianet T 20 scheme from Sep'16. I have just asked them to advice me the billing from Sep for T-20 scheme. I have neither applied for any scheme nor i have utilized any data in August. The test was done with the new Modem by your technician in the third week of August .I don't have to pay for the service I have not been given. I don't have to pay for the service I have not utilized due to deficient service. I did clearly convey this to the front office staff on many occasions and to the Nodal officer who promised to call me back. He is still not responded. Today again I asked them to advice me the bill for the T-20 scheme but were insisting me to pay up for August rent. I requested an audience with the Nodal officer today but made me wait for 20 minutes and sent a piece of paper through the front office staff to write my grievance . He kept himself in the AC confines. The Front office insists that I have utilized 16MB of data in Aug . How silly !! I have not even used the password. Check the IP. Your technical staff must have used it for test. They are all so ill informed. Please ensure that no bills are thrust upon me for the services I have not requested. Please reply immediately. I would like to continue with your services only the above matter is settled. I am yet to open the T- 20 data connectivity also though requested. Awaiting your positive response else you may disconnect the service totally. Regards . somarajan

                            Dear sir/madam
                            This is a complaint against a cable tv operator called asianet satlite communications ltd. A lot of customers have been facing problems and no one can do anything except suffering from their monopoly and threats. My case is i have paid 5600 rs initially and took their annual subscription for cable tv. After six months they are stopping my tv connection and asking money for re-connection. If we complained they took register and neglect recurrengily. This is happening not only me, this is their attitude. Their attitude of no ne is questioning them. After six months of my suscription i have been facing this cut off and asking more money to connect again by billing me more than thousand amount. Some times they will give connectiona again and cut off again. We have to recurringly call more than one week to get a result for an answer from them. This is happening from kerala, ernakulam, thrippunithura accounts division if you check their customer satisfaction rating in online you can realize that. They are still cut off my connection to pay more 1550rs within this subscription period.

                              Ours is broadband unlimted connection. We paid 1year subscription in advance. We received most of the time 60kbs speed. We compliant several times. When we complaint they provide us 300kbs speed for 1 or 2 hr. After that very low speed. Attached is the speed test result. Please help us.

                                Providing worst service... Plan is of 1 mbps unlimited but hardly getting speed of 0.50 mbps.. Whenever called to customer care they used to do two practices — 1) reset the modem 2) arrange home visit by technician... Surprisingly when ever guy come to home speed is ok (May be they correct before coming) but hardly 1-2 hr speed gain reached to very slow... I fed up this type of service... I have to do many official works but it never done due to this pathetic service.

                                  My monthly subscription charge is 574 Rs (Including all tax) with Speed 1Mbps.I rarely get internet connection. The network is very much overloaded. Poor speeds, poor customer care.
                                  I am fed up with the service. Monthly I have to call atleast 3-4 times to customer care for complaint registration and when I call to them
                                  the customer care person behaviour is not at all satisfactory.
                                  I am going to stop service this month itself.When I took connection I have paid 1000rs as security deposite
                                  which they will return only if I continue their service atleast for 6 months.I am very thankfull to them for the great service they provided to me.
                                  I want to file a case against them in cunsumer court but I don't know how to file case.If anyone know please suggest. I am planing to share in social media too.

                                  I never suggest any of my friends and relatives to use Asianet Broadband.

                                    Really disappointed with your Customer Service. I have subscribed Star Sports HD 3 & Star Sports HD 4 (811 & 812) 3 weeks ago and still it's showing error message and telling to contact Customer Care.. Have complained 10 times and even went to my nearest office and the response was that the problem will be resolved within a day. Similar incident happened last month as i paid for ten channels but they didn't give the service. Such a irresponsible...

                                    I got an exorbitant bill of 2999 for the month. Only myself and my wife at home and she hardly use any net except for Wapp. Pl check my old use. Before I complained for connectivity and met an officer at Renai hotel meet. He never replied after that. Made some impressive offers to change modem and never responded.
                                    I have already paid Rs 1000/- and request you to write of balance. I may now change to unlimited to avoid this confusion and if the connectivity issues still continue. My consumer no is CN83560

                                    Please stop telecasting the very poor quality serials Parasparam, karuthamuthu etc. You will able to spread negatively only through these serials.
                                    We expect some standard and some good message to the society through your serials. we don't want such third rate supid serials.
                                    Multiple complaints and poor customer care. Not at all interested in resolving core problem. Pathetic service. All complaints get automatically resolved without my permission or before getting solved. Tired of Asianet service.
                                    Customer service is very poor . Taking such a long time to attend the call even and we get irritating message ... your call is very important to us ...I had even waited 15 mnts plus to get a cus care officer. Now see when I have regd the complaint and when you have replied though it was resolved earlier.

                                      I had switched from bsnl broadband to asianet broadband two month ago for cctv purposes. It seems i have made a mistake after listening to the responses from the asianet broadband customer care. Ports 80, 8000, 554 are the default ports to be opened up for the dvr to stream videos through the internet. E dns port is not open which blocks the camera application from accessing the dvr. After repeatedly contacting the customer care and personally asking representatives at darshan channels agency of asianet broadband, thattarambalam office in mavelikara, it seems every effort has gone null. Delays in reply and inefficiency among employees were extreme.

                                      Hence, i have decided to take matters at a more serious level. I am leaving back to the gulf for residential purposes. I wish to know your response. I wish to proceed legally hereafter. I humbly requesting you to take the matter seriously and awaiting for your response.
