I PURCHASED ASUS P527 6 DAYS BACK AND I PURCHASED 2 PCS OF SAME MODEL. AND AFTER USING 5 DAYS THE JOG DIAL WENT INSIDE THE UNIT. AND THERE IS NO DEMAGER OUT SIDE THE BODY THAN ALSO THE SERVICE PROVIDES SAID ITS DAMEGE PHYSICAL WE CAN'T GIVE WARRENTY.
ITS COMPANY MFG PROB.

GUYS IF YOU ARE PLANING TO BUY WINDOW BASE PHONE GO FOR HTC......

asus p527 — GPS not working

Dear sir
i have bought a asus p527 mobile in june2009 now i am facing problem with its gps it is not working .My phone is in Guaranty period . There is not any siite for complaing about problem . And there is no service centre in mumbai. Tell me sir what i have to do now?
I am very disopointed please do the needfull sir.

    I have bought an ASUS Eee PC 1005ha on 19th January 2010 from TechnoCraftt, Kolkata,

    (1) very next day i found the microSD card slot was already broken, according to warranty, within in 10 days if any problem found it will be considered as Dead on Arrival (DOA), but now they are saying it is a broken case so can't be consider as DOA.

    (2) RASHI PERIPHERALS PVT.LTD. is the importer & Service Provider of ASUS Eee PC 1005ha, so after contacting customer care of ASUS over phone, they give me the address RASHI PERIPHERALS PVT.LTD., 12/9, Sarojini Naidu Path, City Center,Durgapur-16, mobile:[protected], Land Line:[protected], but when i go there & meet Mr. Sudip Mitra, Branch Manager, he straight said me, as i have not bought it from him he will not provide me service, after contacting again they asked me to go RASHI PERIPHERALS PVT.LTD, kolkata, But as they claim Global Warranty why will I have to go Kolkata from Durgapur to surrender my faulty product??

    (3) In all these process i never get any cooperation from any body, i contact many people over phone, send email to all concern people, but all in vain.

    So may i expect any help from your forum ?? please inform me soon..

    Rashi sucks, whenever you buy a computer/IT product please look for the sticker/importer RASHI on it and DO NOT BUY IT. It'll save you from a lot of trouble.

      I purchased Asus P750 on POP Date - 16.10.2009 with the Invoice number 6999 from Dealer name - 'Sangeetha Mobiles'. Since it has been 3 months now I got a problem with my handset. I had given information to authorized service center they promised me that they'll troubleshoot the problem in 3-4 days but when I called today they were saying that it is the problem with motherboard...mean I got a faultly assembled mobile handset. I request our Indian Consumer Forum take a seviour action against the company to prevent this kind of trouble to other consumers. Why should anyone purchase a mobile phone and get a faulty product as a result?

        Contacted ASUS service center on dated 21/12/2009, complaint regarding defective speaker of Laptop Model F82Q.Till dated 22/01/2010 the speaker hasn't been replaced. And spoke to the service engineer, and claims that the speaker is not available I
        in India .Hence the product is only 4 months old from the date of purchase and consists 24 months warranty. I'am fed up with this problem.

        Last few days I was facing with one mother board of Asus, Model (P5G-MX INTEL 945GC), Today I gave at asus service center at 19 R.n. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata, they have not respond me well. I am not satisfied with them. They returned me the board saying that they cant' entertain me because of fungus problem with the motherboard. Is it the right thing that you will not entertain we like retailer like that way?

        pls let me inform as early as possible.

          DEAR SIR,

          I HAD PURCHASED ASUS MAKE NETBOOK MINI LAPTOP FROM STAPLES SHOP IN PHOENIX MILL COMPOUND, WORLI IN MUMBAI. ON 12-9-09 FOR RS 20999/- VIDE STAPLES CASH MEMO NO 5140.

          WITHIN LESS THAN A MONTH THE NETBOOK POWER-SUPPLY SOCKET DEVELOPED A DEFECT AND THE LAPTOP WAS SENT TO ASUS SERVICE CENTRE AT SAKINAKA ANDHERI FOR REPAIRS.

          MORE THAN 25 DAYS PASSED EVEN AFTER WHICH ASUS HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO REPAIR THE UNIT OR REPLACE IT WITH A NEW ONE YET. AFTER MUCH FOLLOW-UP ASUS FINALLY GAVE A LETTER ON 10-12-09 TO STAPLES ASKING THEM TO REPLACE WITH A NEW NETBOOK.

          STAPLES SAID THEY HAD NOT RECD ANY INTIMATION FROM ASUS, ON BEING GIVEN DETAILS OF PURCHASE, (BILLS ETC), ASUS LETTER ETC, STAPLES SAYS THEY DO NOT HAVE THIS MODEL INSTOCK AND WILL NOT REFUND ANY AMOUNT FROM STAPLES.

          STAPLES SAYS ONLY ASUS TO GIVE NEW REPLACEMENT OR REFUND.

          KINDLY TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH ASUS AND HELP ME GET MY DUE REFUND BY DEMAND DRAFT FOR THE PURCHASE AMOUNT OF RS 20999/-.

          Im also planning to buy one Asus netbook but after seeing this blog Im quite hesitant now to take Asus or not.If a company cant give best service to the customers in terms of warranty why to buy such product.Do help me in deciding.

          I had purchased a laptop of Asus EeePc1005HA and I found that my card reader slot was initially broken . Then I launched a complain and they told me that it will be replaced . 7 days left till I didn't get my laptop and now what they are saying that it can't be replaced .

          So the users please be careful when you are purchasing the laptop from ASUS . They just don't made their commitments .

          I had Purchase a LCD (Asus VH1920 Serial No. 95LMIZ020051) from your local Dealer Aashirwad Infotech -Ground Floor, Alla Complex Naza Market Lalbagh Lucknow.226001 on 15/08/2009. My said LCD is Under Repair with Neoteric Service Center Lucknow. Now he is saying that it will not be repair, but it will be replaced. And for that he wants Original Invoice of Purchase. Unfortunately I have misplaced my invoice somewhere, & In the mean time that local dealer also has closed his shop permanently. So I am unable to produce invoice for purchase of my LCD. Kindly consider it & arrange to replace my LCD.

          I hope you will look into this matter generously & do the needful.

            i got a problem in my Eee pc laptop,i have been going to servicecentre in delhi before three months they took my laptop for three weeks and give it to me but my battery is working .then i have been going to service centre in delhi they tell battery is not in warrenty

              Sir,
              I am jitender rana from sambalpur, orissa.I purchased assemble computer from invent computers, budharaja, sambalpur cell no:[protected],[protected]. as on[protected]. i have facing many problems with my pc. 3 month previous my computer motheeboard not working properly/sparking as per invents computers. they told me that u have 3 years warranty period in ur motherboard.so u send this motherboard to rashi pheperals, bhubaneshwar with bill and u got new motherbaord. i send my motherboard with bill copy but they return my motherboard and told me that give dealer bill. then i go to invent computers & told them they wants dealer bill from u. invent computers owner told me that u give ur motherboard to me i replace this motherboard with in 2 weeks. till 03 month gone i not recieve my motherboard. invent computer not recieve my call, when i go to their shop they always told me that you come tommorow. sir 3 months gone what i do for it. lots of works pending. pls pls help me. otherwise i want to go to consumer forum for consumer case on retailer as well as asus company.

                DEAR SIR
                I SANTOSH SAHU FROM NAGPUR HAD BUYED AN ASUS TFT IN THE NAME OF PRASHANT LAXANE
                MODEL NUMBER BH192D SERIAL NO:95LMIZ034124 FROM DELARE VP TECH COMPUTERS B WING MANGALWARI COMPLEX SADAR DATED 24 JUN 09 .BUT AFTER USING YOUR TFT THERE WAS A PROBLEM OF BLACK SPOTS ON THE SCREEN OF
                TFT, WHICH I HAD REPORTED TO THE ENGINEER.
                AFTER THE INSPECTION BY THE ENGINEER HE HAD SUGESTED ME TO SEND THE TFT TO ASUS SERVICE CENTRE , WHICH I HAD DID ON 12/9/09 .
                BUT AFTER SUBMITING THE TFT TO YOUR SERVICE CENTER THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM ASUS SERVICE CENTRE. THEN I HAD CONTACTED YOUR SALES OFFICER OF NAGPUR MR.AVISH AND HAD BEEN TAKING THE CONTINOUS FOLLW UP ON DAILY BASIS TELEPHONICALLY FROM HIM, BUT THERE WAS NO SATISFACTORY RESPONSE OR ANS FROM HIM .NOW I AM REALLY FED UP OF THIS SINCE I AM NOT GETTING ANY RESPONSE FROM YOUR OFFICER OR YOUR CENTRE. TILL TODAY 28.9.9 I HAD SPOKE TO ALL THE CONCERNED PERSON TILL HO ( AVISH, SANTOSH, PRASHANT JADHAV SEVICE EXCUTIVE ALL INDIA ) ALL OF THEM ARE NOT RESPONDING TO MY PHONE ALSO NO SATISFACTORY ANS WAS GIVEN BY THEM WHICH SLOVE THE MY PROBLEM.
                SIR I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY TAKE THE FOLLOW UP OF THE SAME AND KINDLY GUIDE ME WHAT SAHLL BE DONE .                   I purchased 4 asus p527 pda mobile phones, all have them had some problem or the other from day one!

                  I fell for the suave lloks and the capabilities, but believe you theu ar duds with windows mobile.And i'm serious.

                  I went to their service centre for one of the phones , they told me just reset it , it will work again ,if it doesn't take the backup and come again.
                  it never did , but i still kept using, I had no time to again.

                  now all the phones are out of warranty, and i'm coming to know how lousy and deceitful the company is.firstly , there so called on service centre doesn't accept phones for repair , second they sent me to a franchisee who kept my phone for 4 days , and wouldn't bother to call , after i call them , with great difficulty they pick up the call and tell me its not repairable, plesae collect it back.

                  i call their mumbai office and they tell their office to give me an official call , so they tell me the same thing, blah typical crap, on further questioning as to why it is not repairable i'm told because the motherboard is faulty , so what repair it i say? "no sir will have to be replaced and that it is 75% of the total cost of the phone today"

                  "so please collect it"

                  customers in india are born to be cheated by these CHINESE tech companies.

                  "NEVER BUY ASUS OR ANYTHING NON STANDARD"

                  BY THE WAY PROBLEMS WITH THEIR PHONES:

                  1.CALL DROPS
                  2.PHONE GETS HUNG
                  3.TOUCHSCREEN STOPS WORKING SUDDENLY
                  4,THE PHONE WILL NOT RING , GOES ON SILENT MODE AUTOMATICALLY.
                  5.THE PHONE WILL START DIALLING AUTOMATICALLY , WHILE SCROLLING
                  6.JOG DIAL DOESNT WORK
                  7.REBOOTS ON ITS OWN
                  8.AND INNUMERABLE IRRITATING PROBLEMS- FAR FROM PERFECT!

                  ASUS P527 mobile phone — Cheated

                  I bought ASUS P527 mobile phone on 02.05.09 from SPICE COMMUNICATION, Outlet 1, Shop no. 112-113, Main Market, Sector 14, Gurgaon-122001, Ph. [protected],[protected],[protected].

                  Problems faced from Day 1
                  1. Touch screen is not working properly- As the scratch guard of the screen was duplicate and original was not available. I had shown the problem to the dealer there and then itself. The dealer checked and identified the problem and said that it is because of duplicate scratch guard.I had contacted the company person Adil (Ph: [protected])and told him the problem he told that the sensor is very good and the problem may be because of duplicate scratch guard. He told me that he will talk to the dealer and will provide original scratch guard. The dealer also promised me to come on 08.05.09 to get the original scratch guard fixed. I reached the dealer shop at 11.00AM on sunday, he said he was not able to arrange and will definetly fix it by evening. As per the commitment from dealer I went again on 12.05.09 to get the original scratch fixed. He told his salesman to get the scratch guard fixed. The salesman asked me what was the problem than I explained that the touch screen operations were not working properly. However the salesman tried to act over smart and tried to convince me that the same problem occurs in all the touch screen mobiles and blamed that my handling was not proper. I told him that I have another HTC mobile which is also a touch screen and it works very fine.
                  The salesman showed his touch screen mobile and said that this problem is in all mobiles. Finally I told him that if you want to rectify the problem than do it otherwise I am not a fool to visit your shop again and again.


                  2. I was told that the battery backup was 5-6hours of talk time. When I confirmed it from ASUS company person Adil, he told back is around 3.5hours of talktime. When I checked it was found to be not more then 1 hour of talktime. With this statement I lost faith in the product and asked the dealer to replace with new mobile. For which he refused to do so.
                  In all of the above conversation the dealer was very arrogant and rude.

                  Now I am trying to call the company person Adil and he is not responding to my calls.
                  I request the authority to take necessary action against the dealer and the company person. As I have wasted Rs. 14, 700 for this mobile which is completely useless to me.
                  Dear Abhinav,

                  I have faced exactly the same problems with ASUS Mobile phone P595 model i bought.
                  The service centre has no solution at all.

                  I left the phone with them 2 months ago, and told them i was going to go to consumer court.

                  They have not even bothered to phone me back.

                  ASUS has to be taken to task, and we should all file consumer complaints in court against them.

                  It has been working since.

                    I purchased a mobile os ASUS P526 in July'2008.It stopped catching network in jan'2009. Since then I have deposited the handset at their service center and they are not able to repair it. The problem remains same which makes the set dead. The company keeps the handset with them and returns after 5 days with problem unchanged.now when the warranty just got over, they are mute. i had written complaints to their website, all the time they promised they would take some action as soon as possible, but its useless.

                      I am running a data convection center at above mention address for past 3 years, capacity of 32 seats. I am glad to inform you that I am using your ASUS mother board with AMD processor form my schooling (past 12-13 years). Even now I am using your ASUS mother board for all my system in my office. I was very much satisfied and happy when I approached your service centre 4 years ago for another issue. I also recommended this product to many of my friend’s.
                      Now this becomes reticules, Two months ago I had a problem in my Computer and when I checked with my dealer (Krish Electronics) regarding the problem he said that he will sent the mother board to ASUS authorized service centre which is located in egmore Chennai. After 10 days the dealer arrived with a new problem saying that there is scratch in the mother board. I was shocked when heard about the damage. I my self went to the service centre to see my mother board, When I approached the service manager he said that the dealer had done the scratch and when I asked my dealer he blames the service centre. As per my knowledge that is not a scratch that is a damage caused due to soldering heat, I request u to review the photo image was send to you by the service manager previously, I really got fed up when I approached both dealer and service centre several times, u believe it or not the dealer is about 15 km from my office and service centre is 4 km for away from the dealer.
                      I don’t know where the problem was, whether the dealer or the service centre. I request to take an action about this issue and do the need full. Also I am ready to spend for the my mother board and I understand it’s not going to cost me more to rectify the problem or to replace the mother board. And se through you’re not loosing a good, reliable and supporting costumer like me.

                        I have purchased ASUS P320 in Sept 2008, from last week iam facing network problem.i have shown my cell at andheri service center, they told me thats mother board issue but my other function are working fine.
                        Most of the times, this phone is "searching" for connectivity. Sometimes, it does not ring, although the person dialing to this phone is able to hear the phone ringing. This phone is truly very badly build, especially regarding network connectivity.

                          I bought an ASUS P5K-VM motherboard on 3 december 08. It was faulty since the day i purchaced it. As I did not have time, after 4 months on 27-4-09, I took the motherboard to service centre at Rashi Periferals. They repaired it and gave me back on 22. They said that there was a problem in ic and they have repaired it. But it crashed while installing windows and refused to start again. I took the motherboard again to the service centre and then they replaced it. They said that they are giving new motherboard but in actual it was a used board and had more problems than previous board. I took it again to the service centre next day. They kept me waiting for 3 hours and did not solve the problem. They said to come again next day. But i got tired of this and took the faulty board back. Now i am complaining about them in the consumer counsil and demanding compensation. So if you are buying an ASUS board, think twice.

                          I have had problems with an asus motherboard and there cutomer service is very very poor. This was my problems,

                          I only bought by Asus laptop in November of last year and in January I started to have problems with it overheating and switching itself off. As is was still under manufactures warranty I filled in their online repair form and from then I have had endless problems with them, as detailed below,

                          1) They didn’t tell me when they where coming to collect me laptop for repair. A man just turned up on my doorstep without Id and asked for it, I said no.
                          2) I rang Asus the same day and they said they would come and collect it the next week and nobody came for it. This happened twice.
                          3) I rang their customer complaints line and I got though to someone who could barely speak English and who couldn’t understand a word I was saying.
                          4) I rang back and asked to speak to the person’s supervisor and she couldn’t even find my details on the system. I asked her if I could talk to her supervisor, she said no and faked a coughing fit and hung up on me.
                          5) When I did accentually get though to someone else, he arranged for my laptop to be picked up, he said he was going to send me a free memory stick to say sorry for my treatment, needless to say this didn’t arrive.
                          6) My laptop was picked up and repaired, but when it hadn’t been delivered back to me in the time they said I rang them and they said they didn’t know where my laptop was.
                          7) I had to ring them back the next day because they failed to ring me, they still, couldn’t find it.
                          8) I rang yet again and they said that my laptop was in Cornwall because the delivery company thought Hull was in Cornwall. However the delivery company had already rung me the same day and where concerned that they couldn’t find my address, when I told them I lived in Hull, they told me the address on the package was wrong. So in other words Asus lied to me.
                          9) When I did get the unit back there was a few problems with it, 1) the repair guys didn’t install windows properly so I had to ring Asus yet again for the product key. There where black marks on the laptop that where not there before and the dvd player had stopped working.
                          10) I have now had my laptop for two months and the same problems are happening again, the laptop is switching itself off and overheating.
                          11) I rang customer service and yet again was faced with someone who couldn’t understand me, when I asked to talk to someone for the Uk department he put me though to Holland.
                          12) I asked them for someone for the management team to call me today and nobody did.

                          I have had the laptop for seven months and it has only worked properly for about a month of this.
                          i got a problem in my asus x80l laptop, i have been going to the servicing center in Bangladesh since 5th october, 2009. they took my laptop for a week then said "please come here after 3 weeks". i went there but they started playing with me and retreating date of servicing. my problem is in the DVD rom. DVDs are not being read by my laptop. i bought my PC from bangladesh, date was 5/31/2008, so its still in the valid for getting free servicing from company. they told me that they willl change my DVD rom, due to have no DVD rom for x80l they are waiting to get it from main office situated outside of Bangladesh. though i didn't know its possible to change devices in laptop computers. i inform you to know that why this much time is needed to get a service from ASUS?

                          i have handed over my set (zenfone 5) to service center at somdutt plaza, kanpur to change my reciever n speaker both got burst they told me it will be done in a week or so and een after 25 days i m getting same answer from asus call center we are arranging parts for ur mobile shame on u guys that u dont have a speaker in ware house and u called urself international brand and ur agents are even more pthatic they r not transferring my call to any senior neither giving any details whats going on last date was 3rd june and still they repeating same thing to me its in process i mean what u guys doing shame on u guys u r not giving me any call back and service center guys just talk rudely say tlk to customer care if i dint get any resolution in next 24 hours ill file case against u guys ...and tht is final

                            Dear Sir,

                            I prurchased an ASUS P 565 mobile from Bangalore. The dealer sold me the set stating that software of Satguide worth Rs 200is being offered free with this set. After trying to tune the software in the set I could not get it working. I approached the dealer who spoke to Satguide office at hyderabad. Satguide then informed the dealer that this saofware is not compatable with this particular set and that they are still working on it. I am still not able to operate the Satguide on my cell although the packing cover of the mobile clearly states that Satguide is being supplied free with this set.
                            Request you to kindly look into this matter and help me out.

                            I had recently bought ASUS P-527 handset from Croma Vashi.
                            From the very next day, there was problem of speaker, I could hardly listen what the otherside was saying.The sound quality of this new set was worse than my 3230 Nokia handset which is more than 4 yrs old.I sent it to service centre but there was no improvement.
                            I tried to sell.The market value of Brand New Set worth over Rs.12000 was just about Rs.3000/- and.
                            Recently, It fell on staircase due to which the LCD and the harware got damaged and now the company is asking me Rs.10000 to repair the handset.

                            People should think twice before buying ASUS handsets.

                              Asus P6T deluxe failed to work with all versions of Acronis True Image.
                              Creating of image of OS (windows XP) is OK but when I have tried to restore the image Acronis True Image failed. I got all kinds of stupid message "error opening the file" error E 000 40007 and other error numbers.
                              My previous MB Asus P5K3 Deluxe was fine with Acronis True Image. No problems at all.
                              I did everything possible to make it working and I failed. Otherwise P6T Deluxe V.2 works fine.
                              I think the procrastinators from Asus should move their asses and address the issue. This is essential operation. They must know about it. Asus costumer service sucks!!! They are arrogant ignoring the customers needs.

                              Hey Dude, Did you try to get your complaint across to the service team of ASUS. Go to their website and check where the nearest service center is to take your motherboard there for the necessary repairs.. Have got a P5KPL AM-PS Anti-surge motherboard and its working absolutely fine.. Am really surprised that you are facing problems with the ASUS motherboard...
                              Have problems with ASUS P6T Deluxe too.
                              My 1st disk is Seagate 450Gb SAS, very fast, 15K.
                              But!
                              When downloaded from Acronis Boot CD - Acronis does not see SAS disk, only SATA.
                              Can not restore system on SAS.
                              I changed all necessary boot settings - no results.
                              Seems to me - problem of ASUS P6T BIOS.
                              Very Bad!!!

                                I bought an Asus Mobile fone (P-527) sometime in March 2008. Since then I always had problems with this handset. The first set I bought had problems of hanging, and your customer service replaced the mother board. However the problem was not resolved and they replaced the phone. I still continued to have problems with this phone (hanging, keyboard problems, network access problems, GPS problems). Later the screen developed problems and stopped responding to taps on certain areas of the screen. Asus Customer Service promptly replaced the screen and I collected the repaird phone today (29th Nov 2008).

                                However, it seems that the phone was not tested well enough. Immediately after I received my repaired handset, I found out that the keypad is not working. I had left the service center and reached home by the time I realized this.

                                Your service center in Bangalore is currently in a very inaccessible location. There is no place to park, taxis do not want to go there and wait, and if at all a taxi is willing to go, they charge higher. I paid INR 600 for a taxi just to get my phone serviced, receipts of which have been preserved, should I need to take this matter up with the consumers court.

                                It is ok if I have to travel, but it is unacceptable that a repaired handset is not tested well enough. My handset's keypad is not working. It seems like the service center is doing their best, but the product itself is defective. It has so many problems.

                                When I send my complaint as email to customer support, it seems that the email address mentioned in their website is incorrect: [protected]@asus.com.tw, and I get delivery failures.

                                The product is very poorly manufactured, and despite several replacements, the new product is still defective.

                                Asus Mobile Phone — Worst Performance of the Mobile Phone

                                I had brought "ASUS P320" from a shop called "Sunrise Computer & Mobile Store", Shop no.2, GF, , BSEL Park, Near Vashi Station, Vashi, Navi Mumabi 400705 on 9th Aug 2008 @ Rs. 12, 100/- only.
                                At the time of purchase, a non-technical Sales person installed the said PDA (windows mobile) phone improperly that caused my phone to get 4 times formatted and I have lost some important data was stored in the said phone. After 3 days of my purchase, the said phone started showing software errors like process hang, speaker on/off problems and blinking issues etc.
                                It has been 8 months now and I am still facing the same issues each and every time through out the day.
                                I went "Sunrise", the said shop thrice to get my phone replaced with a new one but they did not hear me and behaved very weird. I am not satisfied with this product at all. I was erroneously convinced by the Shopkeeper and brought this product. I need a concrete justification as now the shopkeeper is not taking his product back and refunding my money as well.

                                I agree with this complaint, I purchased ASUS P320 in Aug 2008, since then its been a miserable experience with my phone, phone gets hanged almost everyday, gets switched off by itself often, keypad is defective and everytime i have to remove the battery and replace to restart the phone. when every other cell shows full network my phone says no network and I cant make or receive calls untill i restart it again... im in madurai and there is no service center here,
                                Same problem with my P552W that I bought just 15 days back. I'm having to replace the battery atleast 4-5 times a day and phone freezes with every opportunity (even if left in standby for extended period of time).
                                my P527 is only a week old & it started giving problems like hanging screen, tapping screen problem but the major one is battery life, it hardly work for a day with normal use!

                                Hi i bought ASUS mobile in Dec'09 it was working fine till Mar'09, since mar'09 i am facing problem with asus handset with respect to netwrok searching. It goes out of network automatically after that i have to off & on my cell, the same issue i am facing on a day to day & do this off & on atleast 4 to 5 times a day. I have used NOKIA, SAMSUNG, MOOTROLA & HTC, before i bought ASUS, sorry to say ASUS performance is below par than others mentioned above, sorry to say worst ever handset i used in a span of 8 - 9 years. My cell is still under warrranty period & had the same from ALFA (Vileparle (West), IRLA), Also tried getting details of asus service centres so that i visit centre & share my concern but unable to trace any ASUS centres in mumbai. I am not sure whether all the ASUS users are facing this kind of issue or this issue is only my handset, Would request you to kindly replace my handset with a new one & else kindly provide with the solutions.

                                I bought an ASUS P320 in 2008. The phone had to be given for repair twice. The main problem with the phone is that it hangs. Another problem is the phone screen going blank. I had to give it to service station to get it repaired. It took 3 weeks to get it fixed.

                                The hanging problem can be solved by pressing the soft reset button at the bottom. IT is a circular hole in the bottom side of the phone( the charging point side). You can rest it by pressing the stylus in the hole.

                                My phone hangs wheneveri open some software and the processor gets engaged like video player, even windows file explorer.

                                My evaluation is that the product is improperly designed, very delicate and needs to be taken care of like a baby. It is not at all user friendly and needs special care and safe use. In 2 years my phone's wear and tear is unimaginable. I recommend everyone not to go for ASUS...HTC is a better option

                                It is true that Asus mobile is a hopeless one. I bought P527 for 12000/- a year back and never ever it worked properly since the beginning.

                                Twice I visited Asus service center in Mumbai and only god known what they do, never the problem got resolved. Even it could not be used for basic purpose of calling and talking to somebody.

                                At first it was hanging, then the voice problem ( echo, very feeble voice ) then the touch screen issue. Since even the basic feature of talking over mobile was not achieved, other features I could not even explore.

                                Though I went to service center twice, I am sure that the phone was not tested properly. the very next day some other problem starts and then the same problem resumes for which it was repaired. I could not go again to serive centre since it is in Mumbai and the only center while I am in navi mumbai. Further the timing is also 10-5 pm. The centre has got more holidays than my company has. Never ever I can visit it without taking off from office.

                                It is ok if I have to take off from office if the set is properly checked and repaired. I am sure the product itself is absolutely nonsense and hence it was not replaced by service centre in spite of my requests within 3 months.

                                  I had purchased a motherboard ( product code k8v-vm ultra) from one of the authorised dealers of ASUS products namely BALAJI SOLUTIONS PVT. Ltd, on 13/9/2006, with a warranty period of three years on the same.
                                  Starting date of warranty period : 13/09/2006
                                  Ending Date : 12/09/2009
                                  Serial No. :
                                  Some problems had occured on the motherboard, and the same had been taken to companies authorised service centre.(DIGICOMP SYSTEM 72/3 S.N BANERJEE ROAD, 1ST FLOOR, PH;[protected] But my problem could not be resolved by them, I had aslo written to its H.O. regarding the same but in vain.
                                  Know I write to you as a last source of help.And due to this problem i have incurred great deal of mental and material losses and trauma.
                                  I hope you would be able to help me in the same.

                                    RESPECTED SIR,

                                    I HAVE PURCHASED A MOTHERBOARD OF YOUR COMPANY. BAR CODE SERIAL NO IS 81moAB374602 OF M2N-MX SE PLUS.
                                    TWO WKS AGO MY PC WAS NOT BOOTING AND WAS NO DISPLAY. I CHECKED MY PC BY MY SERVICE ENGG. MY PROCESSOR FAN WAS OK. CURRENT SUPPLY WAS OK. AFTER THAT I WENT TO SERVICE CENTRE AND DEPOSITED MY BOARD WITH WORK ORDER NO- 12037. THE NAME OF SERVICE CENTRE WAS PRINTWELL S A72/3 S.N. BANERJEE ROAD SUIT-16/1 PH[protected],[protected],[protected].

                                    AFTER TWO WKS THEY TOLD ME THE M/B WAS SENT TO BANGALORE. AFTER ONE WK THEY TOLD THE M/B WAS BURNT BY ME. BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE. THOUGH THE M/B IS UNDER WARRENTY PERIOD THEY ARE REFUSING ME TO CHANGEIT. IS IT YOUR SYSTEM? HOW A USER CAN BURN A M/B? I SAW MY CPU FAN WAS WORKING IN THAT TIME. BUT NOW IT IS NOT WORKING. NOW PL. REPLY ME, HOW CANI I GET HELP FROM YOUR SIDE. I HAVE ANOTHER ASUS PRODUCTS. AS I LIKED ASUS SO I TOOK MY PC WITH ASUS M/B. PL HELP ME IT HAS ALREADY TAKEN A LONG TIME. I AM UNABLE TO WORK MY IMPORTANT JOBS AND MY SON'S PRACTISE IS DELAYED.

                                    I purchased a Computer system yesterday (With Motherboard named "ASUS"). But from today my computer is not working. It is hanging in BIOS, Looping, restarting in BIOS, only not going to Operating system. As I Know ASUS has very good brand name. So why i am getting this problem.

                                    Today is Sunday and from tomorrow I have office then it is very hard for me to spare free time to take this system to the service station.

                                    Plz resolve this issue now.

The computer was working properly few months but it is not working till few months. Acording to my technician The mother board is faulty.                                     I have Purchased an ASUS Eee PC in the month of Nov, and after one day i found that the battery was not good, it does not start without power plug, after that i went to the vendor, he said he will replace a new laptop for that, but he didnt he just replaced battery, aftter few months the charger plug was not working which i got replaced, again i am having problem in battery and also the software. i have just wasted my money by purchasing ASUS Eee PC. Even when I asked the Dealer to give me ASUS service call center he gave me wrong number. Friends, if you know the number which of asus call center plz help me out. and its my advice not to purchase this Eee PC.

                                      Sharaf is an absoulute joke.
                                      I bought a lap top from there in July 08 and till now i have not been on it at all, due to them not helping me.

                                      It will not connect to the wireless in my house so they have told me the problem is within the wireless connection, which would make sense if we didn't have 2 other lap tops in the house working off it!!!

                                      I have went to the store on many occasions no body will help me, exactly what are they getting paid for? I have asked for someone to come to the house in order for them to try and connect it for me, they told yes no problem, they will call you tomorrow to arrange it, 3 visits later to Deira Customer Services and no one has called me!!

                                      I have called 800 DG Help but with no help. Again they said someone would call and yet again nothing!! Please give me advice on what i can do?

                                      Your 800 DG Help Line also they have very bed telephone procedures, by not pushing the hold button so i can hear them speaking about chocolate and things, nice when they keep you waiting for 15minutes only to pass you on again to another hopeless case that doesn't know what day of the week it is!!

                                      Your company is disgusting and i will be taking this futher, and luckily i have the names of those that couldn't be bothered to help!!

                                        This is with reference to the mother board that I have purchased from your company. I have purchased this mother board on Sea Tech Ahmedabad Gujarat India Dated 11th March 2005 with Mode K8S-MX, serial no. 54MD099529. This motherboard has already been repaired once for the problem of display while it was in the warranty period. Now again I am facing a problem with the mother board again and when I went to your service station to report to the problem, your technician say that they will not repair in as the warranty to the Mother Board is over. I agree that the warranty is over but does that mean that I am supposed to dispose off the Mother Board. I am ready to pay for the service but still your technicians stay stubborn at not repairing the same.
