SUB-STANDARD PRODUCTS AND SERVICE OF ASUS
Be aware of ASUS Laptops
Very Bad experience about ASUS LAPTOP, sub-standard products..
I have purchased ASUS Laptop for Rs. 37000 on 18/11/2011 from SPACE COMPUTERS, Osmanpura, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India.
It is latest version of I5 Model ..model no. x53sc-sx492D SERIAL NO.B9NOAS[protected].
But soon after starting to use i observed its speed was very slow. So I called service center of ASUS and got some repairing work. Then in the month Feb 13 (only after 15 months) HARD DISK get crashed.
I had visited service center but they refused to any help.
They asked me to purchased another HARD DISK of Rs.4500 /-
So it is better to abstain from ASUS...Very bad products and service

If you observe anyone going to purchase ASUS pls ask him to contact me. I will share my bad experiences with ASUS.

    On 26 Dec 2012 I had reported for the right click button of the notebook(s/n B9n0bc[protected] not working (Service Log No: 7965613) and was told that it was due to issue in motherboard and they had replaced the mother board. The notebook did work for sometime the same day but after that it stopped working, the notebook was dead with no display. I did complain of the issue to the local service center the very next day but they said to log another service call so i did log another log (Service Log No: 8014640) and again got the motherboard replaced. The notebook did again work for some time but the same night there was no display in the notebook. I again did complain to the local service center about the issue they told me that they would visit me in the next two days and solve the issue but they did not respond back so I complained to the RM and he arranged for servicing of the notebook from service center (Service Log No: 8141170) and they had taken my notebook on the 25th of January 2013 and told me that it would be fixed in the next 7 days and on 6th Feb they informed that they would replace the notebook and wanted some more time to which I agreed and after repeated follow-ups I ultimately got updates on the 25th feb that the replaced unit was ready and can be collected. On the 26th Feb when I had gone to collect the unit found that the unit which I was been given was not in a good condition, far worse than the condition of mine. Today again when I contacted ASUS I was told they can help me in no other way they told either I need to take the replaced unit or they are going to repair the same unit which had already been repaired so many times.
    I am very annoyed and dissatisfied with the quality of servicing provided by ASUS. After waiting for so many days (from 25/01/2013) for the replacement this kind of response is not at all accepted.
    The two options provided by them are not at all acceptable as the replaced unit was in a very bad state to be accepted and the other condition to repair the same unit is also not acceptable as they have repeatedly failed in repairing the unit for the problem due to which I have no more trust in their repairing. The only further option I see is to provide a new replacement or to refund my money so that I can purchase another notebook from some other manufacturer.
    I have already hampered a lot of my important work due to the non functioning of the notebook, which of course I had not bought for my luxury purpose.

      I have purchased the 2 motherboard which is in warranty and it was giving trouble. i have given it to the ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Authorized Service Center as mentioned in there website. Still after 3 and half months i have received my motherboards repaired. i have even talked on there toll-free support number after which me and the support guy has talked to the ASUSTeK Computer Inc.'s head of mumbai department Mr Felix Raj. And he promised me to provide me the replacement (as a proof i have recorded the whole conversation on my mobile). after which they have sent me the replacement but is was not my board its degraded version with very less functions as compared to my board.

The Seashell family Eee PC 1008P has an Intel Atom Pine Trail platform with a techno-chic Digi-Wave Design.

        Asus has announced the launch of a designer Laptop in India at the Consumer Electronics Show held in January. A limited edition by Karim Rashid, a New York based designer is on offer. The Seashell family Eee PC 1008P has an Intel Atom Pine Trail platform with a techno-chic Digi-Wave Design.

        It has a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom ‘Pineview‘ N450 microprocessor paired with Intel NM10 Express chipset and 2GB DDR2 memory. The netbook has a 250 GB hard disk with 500 GB of online storage provided by Asus WebStorage. The 10.1-inch WSVGA screen provides a 1024×600 pixel resolution.

        It is preloaded with Windows 7 with a Express Gateway to access the Internet even before the PC boots. Connectivity options by Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are included. The netbook has decent audio capabilities. It has a good battery life. Looks wise it is a stunner with a Coffee Brown color layer and gold glitter sprinkled over it. The Eee PC 1008P Karim Rashid edition costs Rs. 26,990 excluding taxes in India.

          I purchased this new netbook asus on 3rd august 2012 ...serial no c30aas227183 manufauterd date march 2012. After the day of purchase I found a lining n screen due to sceern damage n straches n new asus netbook..i strted calling n asus helpine ffrom the date of 14th august 2012 bt I didn't any response from asus helpline n then I called asus office so thy logged my complaint n 17th august 2012 f1 services mr ravi n 22august 2012...he declared it its screen damage netbook..the replacement date was from yhe date of purchase 3rd august 2012 to 17 th august so it can't go under replacement bt I strted calling frm 14th n thy logged my complaint n 17th n thy send f1 service enginner on 22august 2012...thn replacement got cancelled later on i called asus office to fix up my problem so thy send f1 service engineer at my place 13september2012 to fixup my netbook problem...mr tushar he came n try to fixup the problem after attemping several times he failed n in this process he broke netbook hinch cover by his mistake..n misplaced netbook screws next day 14th september mr tushar n mr ravi frm f1 arrived at our place with wrong hintch cover..n thy attempt to fixup net book problem in this process thy open netbook 4 times n lateron thy gt to know the solution it because of hintch cover thsy thy couldn't fixup the problem..thy brought wrong hintch cover now the report is thy r teeling us to bring this netbook to charni road on our own or else thy will more two or three days to fixup this problem .....they said thy fixed up screen n its okk n I can I start using it only they bought wrong hintch cover so after 2 or 3 days thy gt hintch cover n fix it up bt when I start my netbook I found a new problem n netbook screen a cursor is not stoping at one place..without moving now they r saying they didn't fixed up keyboard properly thy almost opened n fixed up netbook 4 times and in between thy were talking on phone with there friends ...and they were telling me to buy samsung netbook..they said they are dealers too and that there side business ,....now again this problem arrived and in this process they broke my web camera lock..its looking worst than a second hand..now iam calling them to fix up my problem they r not responding my call.. i want replacement bse its compeletly broken
          ....

            Sir,
            I have a asus motherboard P5KPL AM/PS and it's now under warranty.
            on january 2013 it have a problem that it will over heat and turn of in every 10 min.so i registered a complaint and submitted my board @ PRINTER CARE AND SERVICE THRISSUR (AMK COMPLEX,POOTHOLE ROAD,THRISSUR) after 12 days they give me a old used motherboard as replacement (With serial number :A9M0AD385361,And it's my neighbor's motherboard,she is registered the board with complaint : 5 min display with the help of cyber computer shope varandarappilly ).I received and came home then connected my motherboard . but the mother board will not shows any display ........again i registered a complaint and submitted my board on the same service center . again after 8 days they give me the same board and they told me that my board has been repaired again i back home and connected it.....but again it showing the same complaint .
            So i tested my processor and ram on another boar and it's working perfectly
            And to day am going to resubmit my board on the same service center
            Sir i want to know that is there is any possibility to get an old used motherboard as replacement .Expecting a replay as soon as possible

              Hello,
              I had bought Asus K55Vm laptop from Lee Computers Pune on 16Dec2012,after reaching home i examined the laptop and found the Esc key of the key board of the laptop was broken,i called immediately to the shop but by then it was closed so the next day morning i went to the shop narrating the shop owner the situation of the laptop but it was in vein as he put the blame on me for braking it and told me that he cant do any thing about it and told me to go to the service center,so i did as said,i submitted it in the service center which is by the name Rashi Peripherals Pvt Ltd. M.G.Road Pune,and the laptop got approved for as dead on arrival and i was assured that i would get a new laptop back in a couple of days.Its been 10 days now and i still haven’t got my laptop back,i call almost everyday just to be dissapointed by their answers.following are the details of the laptop,

              I had bought ASUS P5K-VM motherbord, it was faulty since i bought it. i went to replace it on their service centre which is RP Tech, lamington road. they repaired it, but it crashed after. they then replaced it, but replacement was also faulty. they have wasted a lot of my time. so i want a compensation

                i purchased Asus 1225c on 9th November 2012 from Ocean Laptop house at Surat. Immediately after purchasing the laptop i realised that the display driver was not working properly for Win 7 64 bit version.

                i contacted the service center, their head office and even their regional manager mr, Amol Gholap.

                they kept on assuring me that the complaint will be solved. not only that they made me run around to thier service centers several times and still could not solve the problem.
                then they just blankly said that Asus 1225c does not support win 7 64 bit and Asus company does not have supporting drivers for the same.

                so i asked for a refund to which they bluntly said we do not give software support.

                how can a company sell a laptop without giving driver support.

                Asus is a cheat. please help me in getting my money back.

                  i had given my laptop ASUS X35U-SX181D for repairs ,the problem was classified by the service center as battery voltage error.
                  Shop Name: Rashi Pheripherals PVT ltd. situated at Gambhir industrial estate,221,Goregaon East.the inward date was 19th of november 2012 and the customer code -[protected] ,The laptop is in warranty too.. i was told that i would receive the laptop fully repaired withing 3-4 business days,but today it has been the 2nd of december and i have not received even a callback from them,yesterday i sent someone to the service center to check on it and they made him wait for 3 hrs before telling him that the technician working on it was not in for the day ,this is ridiculous on behalf of the company to treat their customers like this...i want this message to be passed on to everyone reading this that their service is very bad ...they havent even got back to us regarding the same...its been almost 2weeks now and m still waiting for the laptop to get done,,everytime i call them they say to call in 2 days..THIS IS NOT DONE..

                  ASUS — Delay Service

                  i got a problem in my asus x80l laptop, i have been going to the servicing center in Bangladesh since 5th october, 2009. they took my laptop for a week then said "please come here after 3 weeks". i went there but they started playing with me and retreating date of servicing. my problem is in the DVD rom. DVDs are not being read by my laptop. i bought my PC from bangladesh, date was 5/31/2008, so its still in the valid for getting free servicing from company. they told me that they willl change my DVD rom, due to have no DVD rom for x80l they are waiting to get it from main office situated outside of Bangladesh. though i didn't know its possible to change devices in laptop computers. i inform you to know that why this much time is needed to get a service from ASUS?

                    I had purchased an ASUS Eee PC from Intech Computers in Goa.
                    Next thing i found was the letter C from keyboard is not working.

                    I called ASUS helpline and registered a complaint. Local service centre called me in two days. Another service centre called me another day. Both service centers were saying they were authentic ASUS service centre and other one is fake.

                    They had told me that the netbook will be replaced with new one. For more than one month i have not received the replacement netbook.

                    Now the Processor has gone for a toss.

                    ASUS IS SELLING SUB STANDARD PRODUCTS.

                    ASUS IS NOT REPLACING THE NETBOOK AND REFUNDING MY MONEY.

                      This is to inform you regarding the Service providing by the service center of ASUS laptop in DISTRTCT SATARA, MAHARASHTRA PIN code-415002

                      I have bought a new ASUS laptop from the SATARA in the month of JULY 2012 in working condition and suddenly after a period of one month it stared giving me trouble.

                      Firstly, the problem started with the touch pad, it was not working properly.

                      Secondly, the laptop did not get boot in the initial stages.

                      Thirdly, the charger point in the system was completely gone as it did not give the charger to make enough charging so the battery was at the stake. The charger indicator was partial working at times but most of the time it did'nt worked at at ll.

                      IT WAS COMPLETELY DEAD PIECE NOW. ITS OF NO USE TO ME.

                      I Have given it for repairing after sometime. Although it came back to me finally after a long period of time but the condition got worst.
                      The fitting was improper in the panel, they have used over sized screws in the keyboard which ultimately made a hole on both the sides in the base of the laptop.

                      Through this complaint I would want you tell ASUS that I want a complete refund of the price that I have paid in buying the laptop as my whole office work was all gone for a toss. I am now stuck in the middle of my work and already had a loss in my business.

                      Kindly come and collect your assist and refund my money ASAP.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        My name is vinish, im using ASUS K53SM 2 months back, but its harddisk already replaced fue to some problem.
                        But now after that i installed windows and after installing ASUS drivers from the given cd, the windows startup and shutdown became very slow, but after logging in its working perfectly.
                        I tried this in bot windows 7 ultimate & professional,after installin drivers only the problem started.

                        Looking forward for help and support as soon as possible.

The laptop was defective from the very beginning and I faced many problems from first day to operate the netbook. I informed to Simple Tech. and asked to change it but they gave me a excuse o[censored]navailability of netbook in their stock and forced me for repair to it. they logged a complaint, because Asus service center was also on same palace, and replaced the touch pad but problem remained the same. they repaired it again and again (changed touch pad three time & mother board one time) but all in vain. The poor touch pad & another system problems also indicate poor quality product on part of the manufacturer. Hence, they have sold me a defective product.

                            My board is m2n68 amplus
                            its pci express slot is not working
                            My board have warranty.
                            So give that board to asus service center in calicut
                            after some days i recieve a msg.that was my borard was serviced succesfully.
                            I gone to the service center.they said pci slot cant be change.they bring the board.
                            What will i do? Pls replace my board
                            otherwise i will move lliegeli to consumer court.

                              This is to bring in your kind knowledge that I, MR. Shivam Nagar, is a loyal owner and user of Asus Laptop Model- K53SM, S.no c2n0as[protected].
                              I puchased from 'Siddhi infotech', Naza Market lalbagh, Lucknow on MAY-03-2012.
                              Recently, on AUGUST-13-2012 I met with a problem in it. It did not gave any display as is Turned it on the power switch light turned on bu screen remained black. lodged complain on Toll free number same day and went to service centre, Due to be Delay.
                              They Diagnosed 'Booting Problem' since then they are tallying me that the hard disk is to be replaced as soon it s available with the company.
                              Continuously I am given same excuse that it will be done in next two days.
                              They even assuled me that if my laptop is not repaired thenn they will replaced it with a new one.

                              I am very much dissapointed with you service as all my works are suffering


                              Hopefully, you will take into notice my complain and take proper action By earliest.

                              Siddhi Infotech — Refund

                              Hi, My self Kiran Gavhane from Dadar (Mumbai) running a very small business of Laptop Chip Level repairing. I contract with Rcalling for Voice ON and N/Paper and pay them by Check No.513642 on 5/8/2011 including Service tax(Rs 5000+ 515 = Rs 5515). One of there executive Mr Samir collect the check. I tried many time to contact them on[protected],[protected] to talk with Miss Priyanka or Miss Shubhangi, but no response from there side.When i call them, they reply ” we will call you within a some how min” but no reply from there side. kindly help me out.... i want my money back..

                              This is to inform you regarding the Service providing by the service center of ASUS laptop in DISTRTCT SATARA, MAHARASHTRA PIN code-415002

                              I have bought a new ASUS laptop from the SATARA in the month of JULY 2012 in working condition and suddenly after a period of one month it stared giving me trouble.

                              Firstly, the problem started with the touch pad, it was not working properly.

                              Secondly, the laptop did not get boot in the initial stages.

                              Thirdly, the charger point in the system was completely gone as it did not give the charger to make enough charging so the battery was at the stake. The charger indicator was partial working at times but most of the time it did'nt worked at at ll.

                              IT WAS COMPLETELY DEAD PIECE NOW. ITS OF NO USE TO ME.

                              I Have given it for repairing after sometime. Although it came back to me finally after a long period of time but the condition got worst.
                              The fitting was improper in the panel, they have used over sized screws in the keyboard which ultimately made a hole on both the sides in the base of the laptop.

                              Through this complaint I would want you tell ASUS that I want a complete refund of the price that I have paid in buying the laptop as my whole office work was all gone for a toss. I am now stuck in the middle of my work and already had a loss in my business.

                              Kindly come and collect your assist and refund my money ASAP.

                                i buy a asus laptop on 02/03/12. after few months its disply is not working properly. so on 4th january i took that laptop on that shop(virus systems). and the sales man took the laptop to the asus dealer from kochi,kerala. then the dealer(mobile number of dealer is:[protected]) send a message to the sales mans mobile about accepting the complaint(date 4 june. no195). he tell the laptop get in 7 working days… bt after 1 month i did not get the laptop.. i am only speak malayalam language. so i dnt know how to speak to asus’s customer care exicutives…. plz help me……. my moble no is [protected], [protected] mail id: [protected]@yahoo.com

                                My name is Gobind kr. Sharma. On[protected] I have given my motherboard of ASUS Company to their authorized service center at guwahati for repairing, it is in warranty period. They have told me that the problem will not solve at Guwahati it will sent to Bangalore to solve the problem and it will take one week to solve come from Bangalore. I had call them after one week to know the status of the board but they told me that your board is not yet come and it will take one week more to correct the problem and came at guwahati. When they told me like this I was say ok, but when I call them after two weeks latter they told me the same statement then I asked any phone no. or E mail id of Bangalore service center to know the status but they were not given me any no. or id . Now it is twenty days over but still I have not get my motherboard back. When I give the board to the center they give me one material receipt in which they give

                                I having A Asus Note Book X553M Model Purchased in January 2015
                                Since I Purchase Notbook Getting Mistakes again again.
                                Am very Disappoint with The Product asus note book X553M Its Problem Again and Again Happening Since i purchased the Product .

                                  Dear All,

                                  I have given my Asus laptop to service center for repair as i was facing some issues with the screen resolution and i spole with an agent from the company whose name is AMIT, he came to my house and he took my laptop stating that the problem is there and he need to check the entire laptop and will take 2-3 days to return it back to me( As it is in warranty). I gave him a laptop, but now i feel that i have done a BIG MISTAKE. He took my laptop and told me that the issue will be resolved however when i got it the issue is still pursuing. I told him that issue is still there so he said we can't do anything as the problem is there from the windows. I said i have already reuploaded windows thrice but he said that you can do it once again and when i was not satisfied he made a call to his supervisor (ANKUSH) whho took my call and said sir please try to reload the windows again and this wold work. At that time i have realised that they BROKE MY LAPTOP. I can see a Broken face of my laptop when i told him about it he said its your fault not mine. How come it can be my fault coz when he took my laptop he checked about everythind and my laptop was not broken, but now he is saying we can't do that, it is your fault. SIR PLEASE HELP ME OUT AS IT IS A CUSTOMER FORM I HAVE PURCHASED THIS LAPTOP FROM MY HARD MONEY AND THEY HAVE DAMAGED IT AND NOW THEY ARE SAYING ITS NOT THEIR FAULT, Please help me out and resolve my issue.

                                    I had purchased Asus K52J 9 months back. Was suppose to work as per the specfications.

                                    But then now its performance is pathetic.

                                    Had called up the all india number o ASUS.

                                    No one ever picks up. The person in charge of Asus in the city denies living up to the commitment of repairing the laoptop even when its within the warranty period.

                                    My adapter got burnt and they never repalced a new adapter.

                                    PLease DO NOT buy any of the ASUS products. Its phathetic.

                                      I Bought my computer in Oct 2008. It Configured: asus motherboard P5SD2-VM, Intel dual core processor, 2gb ram and 160 GB HDD.
                                      Everything was fine until from few days it gives an error during booting. It says- Chassis intruded!
                                      Fatal Error... System Halted.
                                      Help me.
