I have created axis asap account through my mobile, by submitting all the necessary documents like aadhar, pan card, mobile number etc.
My account got working on the first day (20-aug-2019) and i was supposed to pay rs 10000- for physical debit card., i've paid that amount from my another bank account,
All went fine. But, the next day (21-aug-2019), while i'm trying to check the axis bank account for transaction statements, there i found my account has been closed, showing this message in the transaction page "account closure proceed to dd acct". I have called via telephone to axis bank customer care.
They told that there may be a chances that i had previous axis bank account that may be the reason this account got closed and i need to wait for 9 working day to check if dd is delivered to my home address.
This reason seems true as there was a previous salary account which was not operative now.
I asked to provide dd number details so that i can track it with bank but they are not able to provide that detail. Secondly i asked to transfer that money to the same account from where i transferred this amount to axis bank new account. They mentioned that this is also not possible.
I am not sure at which address they are going to send the dd (If they are going to send as per customer support executive). As the address in previous account and new account is different. I have no idea which axis bank branch i need to chaise for this issue.
I wonder when account open is fully automated then why returns money is done via manual process.
