Claim no[protected]P i was asked to do operation in my knee on 14th February 2023 after fixing surgery arrangement with the doctors in VS hospital Kilpauk Chennai.
So i started to process the insurance claiming procedures with Bajaj Allianz insurance on 11th February 2023 but they gave approval on 15th Feb 2012 only that too against Rs.1, 87, 000 claim approval request from hospital they approved only Rs.1, 00, 000 This proves that if we depend Bajaj allianz for emergency at critical care we will get the approval after the patient dies.
By the time i lost my patience and moved alternately with my Hdfc health insurance which was approved on 14th Feb 2023 with in one hour and completed the surgery on 15th Feb 2023 and the claim amount was Rs.1, 47, 000.
I am getting the approval from Bajaj Allianz team after the surgery got over for Rs.1, 00, 000 against the claim request amount of Rs.188500.
Insurance is a factor which should help a common man financially under medical emergencies. But i am totally unhappy to have a worst insurance claiming experience with Bajaj Alliance group.
I was keep on calling the customer care team in their toll free number to know the status of the claim but i am sorry to say they are very worst unable to update the exact status of the claim and they committed that it will take 24 hours working hours to approve the claim but it happened only after 5 days in which 3 are live weekly working days.
So I conclude by saying that, no one else should suffer like this like me in future opting Bajaj allianz insurance. i kindly request you to take necessary action in this regards.
