It is really an irritating experience with bajaj product service.
*why should we buy bajaj products?*
I am very disappointed with the service rendered by bajaj electricals for bajaj gas geyser model gwx 03. I am briefing here the sequence of handling the complaint
1) i started facing a problem “gas geyser ignition used to stopped after 30-40 seconds and after restart, it was again working for 30-40 seconds” in jun’17
2) there was no helpline number available with local vendors and even on internet, somehow i got helpline number [protected] from some bajaj personal loan (How funny!) and registered the complaint number mum[protected]-1 on 28/06/17
3) the engineer arrived at my home on 03/07/17 and stated that all the spares parts (Thermostat, thermo sensor and circuit) without checking the problem. When insisted to check the problem in steps, he did some setting / cleaning and the geyser started working; i happily paid the service charges of rs. 300/-
4) the problem recurred after 6 days and hence reported back to mr. Nilesh [protected] /[protected] and he assured me revisit of service engineer, but nobody arrived. There was no information passed on, after follow up i understood that they were waiting for some spare parts. Mr. Nilesh stopped picking the ring there onwards
5) when once again tried for help, helpdesk registered another complaint mum[protected]-1 and then mr. Kalam [protected] contacted me and visited on 28/08/17 and once again stated the same thing that all the spares parts need to be changed. When insisted, he checked the geyser in steps and then replaced the parts one by one, but the problem did not resolve. He asked help from his senior but he was not available hence i asked him to visit next day. After that, there was heavy rain for 2 days in mumbai.
6) when followed up, the service centre person mr. Sawant[protected] had assured me to complete it on 01/09/17 but nothing happened. I got an sms on 01/09/17 stating that “you are not reachable and contact within 24 hrs” hence called back helpdesk; they registered another complaint number mum[protected]-1
7) i called service centre for escalation to ms. Aparna[protected] and she replied me back that manufacturing stopped for bajaj gas geyser model gwx 03 and spares are not available
8) once again mr. Kalam contacted me after several followups and visited the place. This time stated that “*there is no warranty / guaranty of spares*”. This was really surprising me and hence contacted his manager mr. Nilesh and then area service manager mr. Srujan and mr. Sujay sinha, all of them reciprocated the same thing. When asked to give this in writing / email, first they hesitated then agreed but after 15 days of follow up - still there is no reply.
9) i asked mr. Kalam to restore the original problem and noticed that the spare he replaced was wrong (Probably due to which it didn’t work).
I am very confused for the following
1) why there are multiple complaints booked for the same issue?
2) why service center in-charge is replying that spares are not available when i had received them already?
3) why there is always a different person to respond and customer need to repeat story again?
4) what is complaint resolution time?
5) why the technicians are not competent?
6) what is special technology used in product for which the spares are not available?
7) why response time is so poor?
8) why helpdesk do not have any control on service center?
9) why helpdesk was hesitating to give me escalation number and email address?
10) why they are not responding in writing, if it is bajaj policy?
11) why there is no spare parts warranty if original supplied?
12) how the customer will get confidence that new spare part will work?
And above all,
*why should we buy bajaj products?*
