Inordinate delay and harassment in repairs to our bajaj platini food processor px 80 f

The upper part (adaptor) of the body of our bajaj food processor got damaged through a fall in the kitchen. i would have taken it to a local repairer of such appliances but on my wife’s insistence, we decided to get it repaired from company's service centre.
Through the company' customer care centre, mumbai office, i could get the local service centre address as “ m/s pragati distributors, shop no. 702, 1st floor, keshoram complex, sector 45, chandigarh. on the net, the names and addresses of company's old service centres were only mentioned.
I took the food processor to them in the month of march, 2016. their technician, on checking it, gave me a rough estimate of rs 200/- for replacing the damaged component and a week’s time to do the job but also said that he would confirm it on dismantling the unit.
The motor etc was checked by him and it was working fine.
One week, two weeks later, when contacted, they said that the part to be replaced, had not yet been received from m/s bajaj.
When contacted again thereafter, i was told that though the motor was in working order, but its bushes had worn out and it would be required to change the motor as a whole because spare bushes are not supplied by m/s bajaj. so i said o kay, do it.
By that time, a month had elapsed and the motor had not been supplied by m/s bajaj.
Obviously our kitchen cannot be run without at least a mixy. so we were left with no alternative but to purchase an isi branded new mixy from the market for rs 1950/-.
After the motor was made available and replaced, i was told that they were further waiting for some lever to be fixed up which was taking time to be supplied on the part of m/s bajaj.
Finally after regular chasing up with them, the food processor was repaired for a total cost of rs 1900/- plus by mid july, 2016. the motor (rs 1239/-), upper main part of processor body (rs 221/-), adaptor (rs 185/-), lever set (rs 54/-), coupler (rs 52/-) and spindle (rs 18/-) with labour charges of rs 150/-, were provided.
After taking the repaired set home, we found that the processor bowl and jars were not sitting properly on the processor body because the base diameter of the replaced body was slightly on the higher side, so that the processor bowl could not be turned in anticlockwise direction to click it in place and without which the food processor would not work at all.. likewise the liquidizer jar was also not fitting properly in its location on top of the food processor.
I had to go back to company's service centre with these problems. there the technical expert checked and found that yes, the bowl and the jars were not sitting snugly in position. he even tried to fit a new bowl in position from his stores but was not successful. he said, what could he do when m/s bajaj were supplying non matching different sized parts.
I was told to leave the processor body over there with them and they would get the needful spare parts for replacement from their local godown. that was in mid july, 2016.
Since then, more than a month has passed and my bajaj food processor remains unusable. i have been contacting the service centre regularly but no final outcome as yet. once, on talking to their technical expert, he said that if i desire, the old body could be re-fitted in place to tide over the situation.
So now almost five months have passed, regular chasing up with company's service centre, a number of visits to the service centre, and had to purchase a new mixy for rs 1950/-to run the kitchen and having also paid rs 1900/- for the repairs of the food processor, we remain where we were five months back when the upper body part of the food processor had got damaged.
We go in for bajaj products considering these of high standards and also expecting quick service from their service centres and see what is the state of affairs as brought out above.
These days, the company is advertising so assertively the bajaj electrical products, in the media. with my above mentioned experience i don’t feel like purchasing any more bajaj products in future.
Offering initially good quality products is one thing but offering customer friendly quick after - sales service is equally important.

2.Product was ordered from online from Bajaj website and full amount was paid via netbanking.
3.The product has not been delivered to me till date in spite of continuous reminding them about it.There response is extremely pathetic..
