This complaint is just to enlighten the peer customer about how non-compliant and unprofessional attitude of Bajaj service centre people.
Let me go ahead by recounting the things which I experienced in last one month with Bajaj electrical people.
I lodge a complaint for a kettle with a complaint number, 192595, around a month back and during the time, I was told by customer care executive that the technician will be at my house within 3 working days. After that, days passed and passed but there was not a single contact from the so called technician. Meanwhile, in all these delayed work, I kept in touch with customer care with the enquiry and like every time, the answer was same and there was no action afterward.
It went on around for 20 days and suddenly (OMG! fortunately), I got a call from a technician (I think it was Mr. Prasad as some one told me the name afterwards) on 8th June and he asked my availability for the next day. As the next day was Thursday and a working day, I was not comfortable at all and therefore, started asking for the Saturday, but somehow the guy was so much insisting on Thursday that finally I said yes and settled for 11 am appointment.
So the next day, I took off from office for half day and started waiting for him. Whether you call it an unprofessionalism or stupidity, the guy didn’t turn up on the day and even didn’t intimate anything to me. For whole day, I tried to call at his cell phone number and every time, it was giving switch off. It was such an annoying thing and a never expected behavior from one of our country top company, Bajaj (which has a tag “HAMARA BAJA”).
So on 10th June, the thing which I was expecting least, happened again i.e. a call from the same technician( Mr Prasad), who was asking for another appointment on Saturday(11th June) and moreover giving an alibi of losing a phone for 9th June unprofessionalism. I just got a feeling that the person thinks that all the customers are tripe and asinine that anytime he can escape from problem by giving such an outlandish alibi.
With all this talks, I told him clearly that, I was not after the company’s technician for a free service for the kettle as I could even go out of company’s ambit technician. Somehow in the meantime, the guy was so pushy, that again, he fixed an appointment of next day at 11 a.m and finally I concurred. Though I concurred with him for the next appointment, I got so disappointed by the person behavior as even with so much unprofessionalism, he didn’t had slight guilt of wasting so much of some else time.
Next day on 12th June, I called the technician around 10.30 am for confirming the time and guess what; the guy was again postponing the time. Again the same pushy character of his, made me rescheduled the time at 13.00 hr.
So again, around 12.40 hr, I got a call from a lady from Bajaj, stating an unavailability of technician for the day and asking for appointment of Monday. After hearing the thing, I got so pissed off that time that I told her the entire incident prior to that and asked her not to call me. Moreover I made up my mind that instead of calling these unprofessional, asinine and no customer loving people, I will throw out machine.
Meanwhile again, I got a call from some another technician around 15.00 hr and was asking for a Monday appointment and though this new technician sounded good but somehow I was in no mood to listen after going through all the experience.
In the nutshell, I learned one thing about Bajaj that though the most of the company products are fine but if you are unlucky one to get some technical faulted product, then it is better to throw away the product then going out to repair from the company’s technician. It is not about 2k product or more, over all, these few sycophants worker of the reputed company is really hurting the company’s name. BAJAJ DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR TECHNICIANS.

I have started using this geyser in this winter season. But Its tank start Leaking. I complained to your customer care [protected] & tank replaced by your
local service center. But this problem still consists. Since Dec 2012 three tanks have been replaced to this product. My complain no as follows:-
1. Complain no 2009779 dated 23/12/2012 tank replaced
2. Complain no 2176467 dated 31/01/2013 tank replaced
3. Complain no 2311908 dated 01/03/2013 tank replaced
4. Complain no 2470441 dated 06/04/2013 complain pending for tank leaking. Now no one is responding even customer care is not responding
In view of above you are requested to look into this matter & replace my geyser with new one as it in warranty & always giving truoble.
