This regarding the aforesaid loan amount that has been processed against my EMI card number XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-5129. I have been made aware by one of your representatives on 30th April, '15 that there is a loan amount that has been processed against my account of 14900 INR. As i have not made any transaction of this sort, i decided to call your customer care on[protected] and spoke to Mr Shrinivas. Going further into the account, he informed me that there is indeed a loan amount against my EMI card for buying a LED TV for which the EMI will be 1242 INR( the product was apparently bought on 29th April, '15). I was astonished beyond words to realize that there has been a loan processed against my account without my consent or knowledge. At this point, i wanted to understand how/why the loan amount is reflecting against my account(especially with no intervention/consent from my side), to which the advisor could only tell its a "technical error".
I wanted the loan to be cancelled first, for which a request bearing SRN02979938 was logged, and i was assured that the loan will be taken off from my account. Beyond this, as the advisor couldn't answer my original question of why the loan is reflecting against my account despite me not seeking it, i wanted to speak to a supervisor. I was informed that all sups are currently busy, and only when i informed that I will be involving consumer forum and go onto social media, did i manage to speak to someone who introduced himself as the escalation handler( no supervisor yet mind you). A lot if "Sorry"s and "I understand"s later, i was informed by this escalation handler Pradip that
The loan bearing 4100CD09435311 will be taken off from my accountSomeone will get in touch with myself in the next 48 hours to discuss how this happened
48 hours( including working hours if i may add) down the line, as i didn't receive any call from you, i decided to create an account in the customer portal of your website only to realize that the loan is still active against my account( PFA the screenshot for your reference). This has only made me conceive the idea that alongside your accounts department, how shoddy your customer service is.
At this point, I want:
Consumer Durable number 4100CD09435311 to be taken off my account immediately as i have not made any purchase of any kind with the amount processed, neither have i given Bajaj Finserv the consent to process a loan, or agreed to pay one if processed without my permission or knowledgeA letter sent out to my registered residential address from Bajaj Finserv declaring this happened due to an error on their part and confirming that you owe nothing from myself against the aforesaid consumer durable numberSomeone to call me to explain how this happened( someone higher up than an escalation handler please)
I have copied in Consumer Forum in this email, and will not hesitate to take this further if this is not addressed timely and to my satisfaction.
