I was travelling with 2 other fellows on sunday in volvo bmtc to KBS and conducter suggested to take a daily pass. I agreed and asked him if everyone requires an ID card. He said that if one member has then its enough. I cross checked twice and he said the same thing. Later when I was returning back and got into another bus, the bus conducter asked for everyone's identity. I asked him that if that is the rule why were we given the pass but he asked us to buy tickets. We refused and got down from the bus. I went to enquiry counter and they asked me to go to another counter. This happened for sometime; I went to 3-4 counters and finally I got to the correct counter. The guy over their was very reluctant to listen to the problem. He was saying that ID card must be there and it is also written on the pass. But the poor fellow could not find the rule written on pass (poor knowledge about their job). He asked me to find an officer with star badge on the road. I asked for officer name but he didnt tell. I had to catch another bus to come back home. "SHAME ON BMTC" esp about performing their responsibilities.

    think this needs to added for public knowledge: Traveling by buses in Bangalore is really a terrible experience for women, These kind of incidences are a common occurrence in Bangalore. I had purchased a day pass for Volvo bus. On my return journey the conductor of the bus said my bus pass for male passenger. So i explained to him that i had been traveling the whole day on that pass and no one had said anything so far. He said i had to get off the bus or purchase a ticket, which I refused to do. The conductor along with couple of passenger forced me to get off the bus. My pass was valid, i also carried a Id with me and the Id number written on the Day pass. So consumers specially women in Bangalore beware. This has not been isolated incident in Bangalore. I have seen this happen to young no native speaking women. The conductor in order to meet their target have come up with various tricks to meet it.

      Bus has hit my vehicle. And the driver says that the brakes had failed.

      I was on my way back to home after college. As I came from charajpet towards Mysore road at a normal speed of 35-40 I had to brake my vehicle at a particular junction. As I waiting for the intersecting traffic to clear. A mahalakshmi layout bus..77E came in full speed and hit at the back of vehicle. I don't want to reveal the identity of the driver as he sounded co-operative. He made a deal to pay for the damage. I hope that he lives up...

      Few mins back i was traveling in Route: 335 volvo from domlur bridge to Accounts Office in bus no. KA91F4526.. I gave Rs.20/- actual ticket cost. He gave ticket for Rs.15/-. I asked for my balance amount. He just said no change get out of the bus as my stop came. So bad treatment in front of the public. My Respect is at Stake. This is how bmtc treat people. If no change every passenger just go away leaving 2bucks or 3bucks. But they earn gud... Shame o[censored] BMTC... Gonna lodge complaint...

      Dears,

      Can you please tell me,

      1. Why Buses are not taking stop at bus stop. Buses taking stop 30 to 40 feets before or after the bus stop. if so, why we need bus stops.

      2. Many times they stop in Middle of the road it effects the traffic.

      3. Why buses taking stop near the signals..

      4. Why drivers not showing the signals like indicators while taking left or right...

      5. Why BMTC allowing Private Buses to pick the public.. They have authorization to pick, if so what is the proof..

      I hope will get answer for this immediately.

          Hello,

          I'm regular commutator of BMTC Volvo bus between Hebbala and ITPL, today ( 27th Oct'15) I boarded ITPL bus number KA01 FA1308, around 9 to 9.15 near Kalyanagar Stop and I taken a ticket for ITPL. Later near Big Bazar, he stopped the bus and told that is last stop and he will not go to ITPL. When i asked reason he told he informed last stop was Big Bazar, but he not informed earlier. In the mean time I noticed, he was arrogant with passenger and not friendly. He not given any specific reason for the change of route. But driver told me there is some issue with bus.

          The conductor im duty should learn minimum culture and friendliness with passenger. Otherwise one day the passenger will take other option, as we paying exorbitant fare for the service.

          I agree if any issue related to the bus to be taken care first, but it should be conveyed to the passenger in proper manner.

            Sir, I am Sujatha Kodavala willing to give feedback about BMTC bus conductor. I am a daily passenger of BMTC Volvo( 500A route) - Route to Bhansankari. When I was travelling today morning, conductor scolded me asking me to go inside bus. He thought i don't understand Kannada and dared enough to use bad words. When i asked why did he scolded me he gave sarcastic smile. He even challenged me that I cant do anything against him. Please take action against him. Teach lessons how to talk to passengers. They don't have proper manners and are always disposed to quarrel and scolding for small things. There were posters in BMTC bus to give respect to women. What is the purpose of simply attaching the posters with out following.Here are the details of the bus and conductor photo.               As pet rule after night 12am only bmtc will collect one and half charge, but they collect one and half charge11:30pm itself. For example route no 402D[protected] time 11:30pm from majestic to yelahanka new town bus no Ka57 F1050)lect 35Rs but actual charge only 22Rs, even one and half charge itself only 33Rs.

              Dear Sir, With reference to your mail this is to inform that, the conductor has charged correctly after 11.00 PM the fare is one half on the actual ticket rate. BMTC
              What the #### rule is this. BMTC just looting money. When buses run all time, the fare of the ticket should be same .These looting money goes to all bloody ##### politicians and this consumer FORUM is also waste, they won't do background verification and resolve the problem.
              Why Bmtc buses taking one and half charges at 4am, he mentioned child fair bus no. KA57 F3434 on11/10/2018.
              10.41 pm his take extra charges example normal time 20 rupees but night 10.41 30 rupees charge is it carect

                I had travelled from Mulitiplex stop Marathahalli to Manyata Embassy Business park by Bus on October 23rd 2015. I got the ticket which cost Rs.70(Rupees seventy only) and had given Rs.500(Rupees Five Hundred only) as I did not have change. I forgot to collect the remaining Rs.430(Rupees Four hundred thirty rupees only) while gettin down at my stop. I would like to know how I could get the money back.

                    Sir, I am an EX-Servicemen and presently lecturer in private college. on 15 Oct 2015 at approximately 0430 pm the BMTC BIG -C Bus hit my four wheeler at turning near Bageecha hotel near kundalahalli gate just before purvankara bridge.After hitting he even did not bother to see the damage and he moved on .But I chased him and stopped him with in half a kilometer and his replies are very hurting and humiliating.Seeing at passengers inconvenience I left him to go as that route is very busy.Sir the driver don't have respect for small vehicles drivers and he is very abusive.The damage to my car may cost few thousands but his rude behavior is costing the Bangalore image.I am furnishing his and details hoping you appropriately punish the rash driver and save Bangalore image. Many people may not bring such things to your notice because of busy Bangalore life and not having faith on system. So please take stringent action on the driver and instill faith in the people.

                      Sir/madam, i want to lodge a complaint against a bus conductor. i got bus no KA-57, F-368 bus 284D on 14/10/2015 in Raitara Sante yelahanka at 7-30 pm to Megestic. I reserved a ticket from megestic to sringeri departure timing 21:29 PNR NO: J53248818 and ticket No. 35681211 conductor come and asked me ticket..i showed him reserved ticket (Before 2 hours from Reservation we can travel freely to pickup point) He told that now it is only 7-10pm in ticket issue mechine. i am half an hour earlier then reserved ticket departure timings. .. he told me to take ticket and issued me a ticket of Rs12/-( twelve rupees) and the timing in ticket was 19;25:34, depot no 11 and ticket no. 02711...284/6 mentioned that i was travelling from NES office to Byatarayanapura... NE$ office stop was two stop before i got bus. he issued ticket from that point. I asked about 2 hours before free travelling and i was only 4 minutes earlier then two hours as mentioned in ticket timings and the mistake of entering the point i got bus... he made while issuing the ticket. He start abuse me and he continued to scold me about 5 minutes... I kept quite... sir pls. kindly requesting u to give maximum punishment to this bus conductor.

                        Though there are ample buses, all the buses plying from Chandralayout to Majestic which are scheduled at 8.30 AM leave before 8.10 AM and there is very less frequency between 8.15 to 8.45 AM which is crucial time.Kindly ensure that they have 5-10 mins difference and there are buses in regular intervals.

                        There is a G9 buses from MG Road metro to yelahanka but after 7pm the buses timings is irregular, some day bus will come some days buses will not available. What is the issue. I should wait every day 7pm to 9pm then I move shivajinagar by walk. Some times Waste service from BMTC..
                        There is yelenahalli bus and DLF bus 369N and 364F is irregular .The buses are only 2 .students from that area cannot use the services because of irregular bus, kindly provide atleast 4 buses so students can reach college at right time.

                          I'm a regular traveller from Hosakote to Electronic city.There are lot of people boarding the same bus throughout the route as most people are are working in Electronic City.These days Buses of 399/399A are not frequent, not in correct timings and sometimes buses are coming.These days Morning Bus is very irregular and we are facing many difficulties to reach offices.In the evening time, its different problem that there is no bus from Electronic City to Hosakote, since 1 month, they were telling that evening bus from EC at 5:00PM Bus (399) has been Cancelled.But when we check for fews we got to know that the bus very irregular and moving in irregular timings.we left with only option to go for chandapura and catch 399A(7:00PM). Even that bus is very rush so that people are boarding on footrest also.when we ask drivers about this, some drivers are giving harsh replies and are making fun. Please put an end to this situation, we need more buses in the morning and evening to make safe travel to home.Maximun o[censored]s are Ladies itself facing a lot of trouble to make this journey.. Request you to take this on PRIORITY as now a days we are noticing too many sexual harassment cases in South Bangalore because of Not getting On time transportation and female employees are forced to take Private Transportation which is not SAFE Hope BMTC will respond ASAP.                             K-6 bus that was supposed to arrive at Gaurav Nagar bus (going towards kalyan nagar) stop didn't arrive at the scheduled time of 3.32pm. I waited from 3.20 pm. Meanwhile 2 buses (k-6) arrived at the opposite stop going towards jumbu savari dinne. It takes 10 minutes to reach jumbu savari dinne which means they should have returned to the Gaurav nagar bus stop within half an hour which didn't happen. Finally, a K-6 arrived at 4.30 pm. BMTC should find out the cause of the delay and take appropriate action to avoid passengers waiting for such long durations.

                              Hello sir/madam, i was traveeling from majestic to machoahalli in the bus number ka _ _ f 2337 . I was seated in the seat. The conductor came and asked the ticket. i showed him my day pass. he asked me to do sign on the pass. i have already signed on my day pass. I told him "sir, i have already signed" .he replied that "u have to sign not in the front side of the pass, u should sign in back side of the pass" and he also used abuse words . i just kept quiet .i didn;t speak with him. But he continued to scold me for more than 10 min. sir kindly requesting u to give maximum punishment to this bus conductor so he never do this again. thanking you...,

                                Ladies sitting along with their male counterparts in unreservation seats are usually made to vacate the seats. If this is the condition how males and females can travel together in BMTC.According to most conductors unreservation seats are only for gents.

                                  I want to lodge a complaint against a bus conductor of BMTC bus route number 13A (Bus Details: I couldnt notice. But I was in 13A which came to dayananda Sagar College Bus Stop at 7.48 P.M today) running between Shivajinagar & Kumarswamy Layout. This incident occured today on 03rd October 2015 around 7.48. at Banshankari bus stand. I boarded this bus at this point and was going to take ticket to Dayanda Sagar College Bus stop. But the Bus conductor was Misbehaving and Repeatedly shouting at me to give him money for the ticket and harassing me in front of everyone. Even though I was about to give money for the ticket. He created a big scene in the Bus asking me to get down even though I was asking him to give me the ticket. This bus conductor was very rude and has insulted me for no reason. I had a very bad experience during this travel.

                                  I would request the concerned officer to give the maximum punishment to the conductor.And teach him how to conduct himself in bus. So that it make sure the same wouldn't happen to any Bangaloreans again.
                                  Also I would like to know the status of this issue via telephone call.

                                    VEHICLE NO : KA 01 FA 1745, 500 CA VOLVO BUS 1) the bus conductor was mistreating the passengers ...he expressed in abusive language over the passengers who boarded the bus for short distances 2) He was taking 10 Rs extra for the same route 3) couple of passengers he did not give the change back and was shouting on top of his voice when asked about the money 4) the bus lights were not switched on @ 7:30 pm in the evening

                                      Dear Sir/Madam, I, Varadaraj Nayak usually take bus route nr 201R Volvo (Starts from Srinagar to C.V Raman Nagar) I boarded bus (KA 01-F-9113) from Banashankari Bus Station at 7.45 pm 29th September 2015 (usual timing ~7.10pm) and took ticket (BS1 269503 + BH5 773693) for Rs70 till New Tippasandra market. But the conductor and Driver stooped at KFC signal Indira Nagar 9 pm (~1.2 Km away from New Tippasandra market) saying that it's Last stop. They challenged me to go and complain in Banashankari Depot. They Don't care! As Service Company BMTC should get good response by giving the planned service, this way if you work definitely it’s not a sustainable growth. I believe you people at BMTC management take this seriously and penalize these Conductor and Driver for the same.
