Hi I lost my black wallet in 500D BMTC Volvo going from Hebbal to Silk board today on July 1st 2015 around 4.30pm. It was a red Volvo bus and I boarded from Manyata tech park and got down at Ramamurthy nagar. The wallet is black in color with my id (pan card), debit card, credit card & some cash in it. My number is [protected]. Please let me know if you have any info. Any info is appreciated. Thanks Bhooma

Yes. It is our responsibility. We seek your help because we lost it. It is not a deliberate attempt to leave something in the bus.
Thanks for the help. Appreciate any help.

I also called the depot and checked for it.

Today we get into the bus (KA 57F 770) and we asked ticket from Marthahalli to Cosmos Mall(Brookefield) and we gave Rs.104/- since the ticket fare for two people is Rs.24/- but the Lady conductor first tare Rs.10/- by guessing 1 person but we again told her for two people then she abusing in Kannada and saying that you have to ask for two at the first time it self. Then if it is only 1 person also the ticket fare is Rs.12/- then why that conductor is giving Rs.10/- to us and later she abusing and gave two Rs.12/- tickets and for change she write it on the back of tickets as Rs.80/-. After 5 minutes she came back again and saying that the ticket fare is Rs.14/- and gave another four Rs.1/- tickets and she took our ticket again and she wrote as Rs.72/- instead of Rs.76/-, later when we asked about the wrong calculation, she is abusing again and asking again for Rs.1/- change and for giving Rs.5/- change but finally she gave Rs.1/- instead of Rs.5/-. Totally the ticket fare is Rs.24/- but she took Rs.33/- without any reason. So, my question is - 1) How come she tare Rs.10/- ticket for 1 person from Marthahalli to Cosmos Mall(Brooke field) ? 2) When the ticket fare is raised from Rs.12/- to Rs.14/- because we are travelling daily from Cosmos mall to Marthahalli and we know that ticket fare is Rs.12/- only? 3) If it is Rs.14/- also, for two people it will be Rs.28/- but we charged as Rs.33/-, How? 4) How come the Metropolitan Transport like BMTC people took these kind of people, who don't know atleast how to behave with the passengers? 5) Why you are not taking any actions about the people we are complaining? 6) If we are having Rs.1/- less than the ticket fare, you are not allowing us to travel then why should we pay extra Rs.1/- or Rs.2/- of change to you and this is becoming habit to the most of BMTC conductors.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am not sure why passengers in BMTC are being treated in a very rude manner from the conductors, we are travelling by paying the amount and it’s not a free travel, even when free travels are provided people will be having some proper response and respect towards the bus passengers, but here conductors are now a days treating passengers like slaves. Today I travelled from Marenahalli to New Horizon College at around 11:15 A.M. with (Ticket number - 199957) & (Bus No - KA 01 FA - 1811) & I have given her Rs 100 note & she has written 30 in the back side of the ticket which she had to return. When my bus stop came & I asked for the balance (Rs 30) to return, she started behaving very rudely by saying that, if you don’t have the change then don’t get into the bus. I got surprised. When I asked her why she is behaving like this then she got furious & started scolding me like anything. This is absolutely ridiculous. Moreover, when I said that I will raise a complaint against you, she replied that Go & Do Whatever You Can. As she was a lady conductor, with due respect I did not argue with her. It does not mean that she will behave like this with the passengers. This kind of behaviors is totally unacceptable. How come a recognized Government organization i.e. BMTC is taking up the conductors who does not know how to behave the passengers. With the tiny hope I am writing this to you, please see what action can be taken against her so that she will change her behavior. Regards, Nihar

Regularly i wil be boarding 365 volvo at maharanis college at 7.30 in the morining, but most of the 365 volvo buses will not come to the bus stop and the drivers are overtaking other buses and speed away from the bus stop. This is a regular habit for the bus drivers and passengers are suffering a lot. Dear sir,

I would like to inform you that none of the BMTC buses are not stopping in front of PES Engineering college, Hosur Road, Electronic city post. Till today none of BMTC bus stoped over there. In BMTC website under bus route description buses which travel through Hosur road has stop in front of PES engineering college. Sir I kindly request you to see to it seriously, it will be helpful for many of people to board bus from there those who go for job and colleges and also see to it they give stop opposite side of PES engineering college, when returning from Hosur road i.e. towards Silk Board side. Kindly do the needful. Looking forward for your ontime help for this matter.

Also please look into it that conductor give the proper change when the passengers board the bus. Many times conductors won't return Rs. 1 or 2 to the passengers and when we ask them for the change conductors and drivers speak very rudely. Many times they ask change from us most of the time we won't have the change when we have with us we can provide. So kindly see to it seriously. Change problem has been increasing in bus day by day. Kindly do the needful. Looking forward for your fast response and action on it.

          Thanks and regards,

          Yours faithfully,
          Passenger.

Dear Sir / Madam, The bus route number AS-6, which commutes between Bapujinagar and Ullal Upanagar has been irregular especially during their last trips i.e. at 8:45 PM from Bapujinagar. Few months back the last trip timings from bapujinagar was 9:00 PM and was very much regular even if the bus breaks they used to get another bus. But now once the timings changed to 8:45 PM, the bus rarely arrives i.e. once or twice in a week. It has become very difficult to commute in that timings as there are only 2 busses i.e. 234 A and AS-6 to Ullal Upanagar that operates in between 8:00 PM to 9:45 PM. The next bus after this bus would be at 9:45 only. So, just imagine the importance of this bus. Few months back everything was normal, the problem started once they changed the timings of the bus. Actually, there was no reason to change the timings also. We tried even complaining about the issue to the concerned depot that is depot 16 over telephone on this number [protected]. But it’s of no use, the person who receives the call would just tell that the bus shift has been changed so for this shift there is shortage of drivers. I feel it’s a silly answer. Even when we contacted the Traffic Controller (TC) at Bapujinagar Satellite bus terminal, we received the same reply saying drivers are not willing to come as the bus timings is very late, so they skip the last trip. I just can’t understand how they could give such negligence answers. They say if the bus shift changes again then only the bus will come regularly else there is no other solution. If they know the solution why can’t they implement it? Again, I don’t understand why? And it’s not one or two weeks issue, but the issue is from 4-5 months. It’s very sad that no one took any actions to solve the problem even after complaining so many times. After complaining the next two days bus will come but again the same issue. So you people expect us to complain every day so that the bus arrives regularly. Moreover, they even have a solution, but they are not ready to implement it. What was the need to change the shift and if they are having so many issues in this shift why can’t they again change so that the bus operates regularly. It’s not just one or two who are suffering without that bus especially in those timings, more than 100 commuters relied on this bus and this was the apt bus as it would follow perfect timings. So, I want to know what to do and whom to complain about this matter except calling to this number: [protected]. We are fed up of hearing same answer and we just need solution it’s been 5 months the problem started. It’s really scary and difficult to travel in that area as it passes via Bangalore University campus and it’s a lonely extension area. So please look into this matter as soon as possible. If BMTC cannot provide busses in such areas in such timings then what is the use of having so many brands of busses or receiving awards and all such useless things. First concentrate on normal commuters who actually rely on your service.

Sir, I want to file a complaint against Bus conductor of BMTC bus route number 372. This happened on 17th June 2015 at 5.30 pm, I boarded this bus at gottigere bus stop at asked for ticket to hulimavu gate, the ticket for this stop is Rs.5, I gave him Rs. 10, he didn't give change of Rs. 5 and told to collect at hulimavu stop, but when the stop arrived he refused to give the change even after asking so many times. And he told very rudly to get down from the bus. This is not the first time sir, every time it happens, I travel 3 buses daily to reach home, daily I give change in all the 3 buses, but sometimes we don't have proper change. So I request you to take action on conductors, if they didn't give change also its ok, but please tell them to give respect to the passengers.

I Boarded a 500d volvo from Hebbal, this evening around 8.10 pm & alighted at Horamavu stop by 8.30. while paying the conductor for the ticket, i pulled out my black wallet. i forgot to put it back into my pocket immediately after the conductor gave me change as i had to take incoming call, thereafter forgot to put it back in. subsequently, i got off at horamavu without realising that my wallet had fallen off from my lap. i am only worried for my pan card, voter id & a couple of photos of self & spouse. while i have some change in it, cards have been blocked though. if any finder, conductor or driver finds the wallet, pl. contact me @[protected], [protected] sunil B Teli. tx the finder will be hugged, thanked & suitably rewarded.

Hi Sir/Madam, I am not sure why customers in bmtc are being treated in a very rude behaviour from the conductors, we are travelling by paying the amount and its not a free travel, even when free travels are provided people will be having some proper response and respect towards the bus passengers, but here conductors are now a days treating thereself as king and all others there kingdom peoples. Today i travellled from hebbal to manyata at around 4:25 PM my stop came i was not able to see the stop as all busses were standing and the bus driver stopped in between the road, i thought he will take it to aside so that we can get down safely but who cares about passenger lifes, get BTMC on the own risk thats what we need to undersatnd, as the stopped crossed i realized he was \moving i got up from the seat and i asked the conductor but he was not ready to stop the bus, instead he was telling me to get down at next stop which is 1 km far from my stop and when i asked driver to stop in return conductor was telling the driver not to stop the bus, driver slow down the bus i was about to get down conductor asking him to move if in between if anything happens who is responsible not a small sense of respect towards passengers will not be there in conductors, like this behaviour tell me is it acceptable. the conductors started speaking bad words to me when i asked him what will happen i[censored] stop the bus as i missed that by mistake, he started bad words with rude behaviour. How come a recognized Government ran system ie BMTC is taking up the conductors which not able eligible to do this job. Don't you have responsibilty towards your passsengers. is it same way in long ran it will continued. is it the same way passengers has to suffer because of this like conductors. We don't have hope that actions will be taken towards this type of conductors but still with a small hope i am writing this to you, please see what action you can take. Moreover when we call the customer care they are not ready to take any compaliants against them. Bus Number : KA 09 FA 169 started From Hebbal at 4:25 PM

I and my friend were travelling from JP Morgan stop, I took ticket to Brookefield and she took to Kundalahalli gate, but the conductor provided one ticket of Rs.55. Since there was no empty seats, my friend sat behind the conductor seat and conductor himself gave me his seat to sit. I and she were speaking about our work in English, though we were not loud the driver scolded in Kannada, though I understood I kept quiet and we didnt speak anything. But when she was getting down she handed me the ticket near the door. Purposefully the driver closed the door and she was hurt. Rather being sorry, he started abusing her. Later he turned to me and started scolding very badly. Not losing my patience I told him that she was just handling the ticket but he was like not driving the bus, stopped it in the middle of the road and started calling names, I was very angry when he included my parents also while abusing. I wanted to get down there only but he didnt even open the door when I asked him to do so. Moreover conductor also asked me to be quiet as he behaves like that with everyone. Is this a way to behave? I am very disappointed about this as I felt very embarrassed, more than all he included my parents in his abuses. What if the same repeats with other passengers? I want justice. The same should not be repeated with others.

Sir/Madam, We were traveling from Banashankari to Yediyur today(4th June' 15) at 9.50 am from bus - KA01K4442. Then the conductor asked me to remove my bag and pushed me back. When we said we are moving back, and not to push in Hindi. He started abusing in Kannada and told us he is a local, and will hit me if I argue. He humiliated us saying we are north Indians and then removed us from the bus at the next stop. I suppose we are Indians first and then from a particular state. Hope to see some action against such people. Waiting for your response Regards Anubhav Bhardwaj

Wrote to BMTC 3 days back. However, i did not get any update on the action taken. Docket Number BMTCC10117800. Sharing the same here for public awareness. 29th May 2015 Morning 4.35 AM Bus Departs from Majestic with Passengers to its Destination. However, around 5.10 AM - few stops before Destination - Crew stops the bus in front of tea shop for 15 mins(mid transit to destination). When Questioned, if BMTC Policy permits allow coffee breaks inbetween transit, Crew's tone changes to offensive. to the extent i understand BMTC buses can't stop for break inbetween just for the distance of 20 kms or so. I have attached the photo (Not so clear picture as it still dark early morning). I also wrote to BMTC on the same day. However, looks like BMTC has trashed my email as still i did not receive any response on the action taken on the crew staff. BMTC need to take sufficient steps to provide sufficient training to crew members with regard to how to behave with passengers. Bus Number: 221 F Bus Route : Majestic to Hunasemarada palya (Approx distance 20 kms) My destination : Majestic to Club Bus stop (2 to 3 stops prior to last destination) Unauthorized stoppage : Conductor and driver does an unauthorized stop near Kengeri Satellite town for 15-20 minutes Crew staff throughout maintained that they are not violating any policies and they are least bothered about passenger's inconvenience. Thanks, Karthik S

Team, Today 01 June, 2015, I boarded the bus K1 (KA-57-F-0302) at 7.50 PM from EGL bus stop. My destination was at Sony Signal. When the conductor asked me for the money for the ticket, I handed him Rs.20. The ticket price to Sony signal from EGL is Rs.12. The conductor asked me if I had Rs.2 change. I checked and said ‘No’. When I said I don’t have the change, the conductor asked me to get down in the middle. The bug had moved lot of distance from EGL bus stop. I told I can’t get down in the middle like this since it is unsafe and I can get down only at Ejipura signal. And told I am giving you Rs.20 instead since I don’t have change. Then the conductor started blasted me in some local language for another 10 min. I didn’t understand what he was speaking and asked the co-passenger why a big issue on Rs.2 change. My co-passenger told he was using filthy and obscene language and translated he was telling about my "private and sensitive body parts" and how he wants to cut them off. I was really surprised and shocked hearing this is what he was yelling at the top of his voice in a public transport. I felt really unsafe. I also tried the toll free number [protected] but the number wasn't working. I want to take strict action against this incident.

I was travelling with my wife and 8 year old son on Route number 500D at 5:20 PM back from Hebbal towards Silk board. We had daily pass for volvo with us and when the conductor asked for pass and ID me and my wife showed him the same. But the rude conductor asked for my eight-year old sons ID also.I tried to reason with him that a 8-yr old does not have any photo-ID but he just kept mumbling rudely and threatened to throw us out.Even the driver tried to support him. Please take necessary action against this conductor for this extremely unpleasant harassment . He actually asked for a voter-id card and driving-licence from an 8-year old.The rude conductor had no badge on his uniform so I couldnt note down his name.

today morning around 9 am i was travelling from varthur to marathalli in KA 01 F- 907, conductor issued me a ticket of 17rs for which i paid him 20 rs and 3 rs change was due on his side. as usual he wrote 3 rs on the tckt and handed me, as i was approaching my stop i asked him for the change and he denied, even on repeated asking he started yelling at me to give him change instead. now he couldn't pay me 3 rs change but he expects me to pay 7 rs change instead??they are not even scared of the higher officials when told that we will take action against them. its not the matter of 3 rs, but thing to be concerned about is all this extra change is going in their pocket. i request the authorities to please take some action as this is becoming a regular practice. and we as residents of Bangalore are not going to take this nonsense henceforth.

This complaint is against bus conductor Route no 352 ( Electronic City to KR Market ) Bus no: KA 01 F 4818. Incident happen between 20.35Hrs - 20.50Hrs on 20.05.2015 I was travelling in a bus where I found that one man ( who was not a bangalorean ) got on the above bus at the mentioned time and sit on the empty sit just near the driver seat whereas the conductor was then asking for ticket to other passengers. When he saw that man who was also carrying some stuff in hand and was sitting there. the conductor came and very harshly and abusive way asked him to get up. The man doesn't know the local language but can very well understand the way the conductor said to him. He asked the conductor to mind his tongue and asked politely but the conductor got hyper and started shouting him in kannada and said how can you sit in my sit, still the man said that you speak properly or else I will go to police and no where it is mentioned that it is your sit and you first behave your self. This make the conductor every more angry and called other passenger and asked them to forcefully push the that man out of the bus. Even the conductor did not let the driver stop the bus at the place where he suppose to get off and in turn drop him near Nimhans. This poor man do not know what to do and finally he got down. The conductor then started murmuring and discussing with other passenger, feeling that he did a great job. The conductor was saying, this people from other state coming and increasing burden for our city. I was there and was watching how can the conductor be so harsh. I am also not from this state and what if the same incident happen to me or my family in this unknown city. Is this the way outsider should be treated here in this city. We do not have respect and self esteem. How bad I felt. There is no humanity left. Not only this there are instances where conductor behaved very badly. So I decided I should atleast raise my voice this time. Hope some action will be taken on such conductors and some mannerism classes to be conducted for and on such people. Hope this step will help stopping such harsh act to happen again on any people be it local kannadisan or anybody from other part of the nation. Thank you SRH.
