Sir, I request you to please increase the number of bus in the route from Shivaji Nagar to HAL for Bus (330, G-1). We are facing big problem during pick office time at 8AM to 10AM and office off time at 7PM to 9PM. Please think about it in point of view from public that we face daily. We the people are hanging on the bus's door and travelling by taking risk of life. You appoint the T.C for checking ticket, but you need to inspect the public problems too. Regards, B Shankar

I am a daily commuter in BMTC bus in JambuSavari Dinne route. But the buses which are operated in this route have BMTC tag on it but the BMTC officials have lost complete control over their drivers and conductors here. The buses timings and where they stop the buses for how much time is all decided by the drivers and conductors. These drivers and conductors in this route think commuters do not have any work because of that they are sitting in this bus and dont follow timings. We are simply spending 45min to 1 hr for 20 min journey. There is bus stop called Kothanur Dinne which is 4th bus stop after JambuSavari Dinne starting point. Actually buses after starting from starting point should not unnecessarily stop in any of the bus stop for long time. But the buses starting from JambuSavari Dinne comes and stops in this Kothanur Dinne Bus Stop for almost 15 min at any time of the day. I have being complaining against this with the BMTC from 6 months but they have not taken action against this issue. Because of this i have missed my connecting buses and being late to office. Worst thing is i had to travel to some other city once so i wanted to travel to Majestic bus stand. The time from JambuSavari Dinne to Majestic should be maximum of 1hr 30 min. But the bus here took almost 3hrs and i missed the bus. Many people have missed their trains also. If we tell this things to drivers and conductors they come over us like goondas. Every bus in this route has drivers and conductors who are like rowdies and do not treat the passengers with dignity. They should understand that people who travel in this buses are highly respected in this society than these drivers and conductors. This issue should have solved by this time by BMTC but even after 6 months of complaining they have not taken things seriously. The buses form JambuSavari Dinne should not stop in Kothanur Dinne for more than 20 seconds and should reach Jayanagar 4th block in 20-30 minutes. The bus drivers and conductors in this route must be severely punished for acting like goondas and rowdies. This is our demand. Please atleast from the Indian consumer Complaint board we will get the issue solved.

I had boarded a Volvo bus 500 CA (ITPL-Banshankari) at around 8:30 AM IST on 2'nd, June, Thursday 2015 at Kundanhalli gate. Registration Number- KA 01 FA-1391 It quickly got crowded with many passengers. As a result I was unable to spot the conductor when he was asking for tickets. After few stops when the bus became less crowded, I gave him money and asked him for a ticket from Kundanhalli Gate to Silkboard. He immediately starts scolding me and abusing me in Kannada! I do not know Kannada very well. I tried explaining to him that because of lot of passengers infront of me, I was unable to spot him. But he does not listen to me and tries to threaten me with fine. When I try to switch with communicating with English, he starts insulting me with rude language. Thankfully some co-passengers calmed him down and he gave me the ticket. As a conductor he should be more understanding regarding the situation and should not take out his frustration on daily passengers. As a traveller, I had bought the ticket and completed my duty. Its the conductor's duty to check and ask for tickets especially when the bus is fully crowded.

Bus service of 127 between Shivajinagar and Jeevanahalli is not only infrequent, but most afternoons, passengers board one bus and are kept waiting endlessly for the bus to move from shivajinagar. In the interim, another bus comes along, and all passengers need to disembark to board the second one. It seems passengers travelling on this route are being given free rides, hence this treatment. It is necessary on part of the BMTC to not only improve the frequency of the Bus service but also make sure that buses run on time.

Today we get into the bus (KA 57F 770) and we asked ticket from Marthahalli to Cosmos Mall(Brookefield) and we gave Rs.104/- since the ticket fare for two people is Rs.24/- but the Lady conductor first tare Rs.10/- by guessing 1 person but we again told her for two people then she abusing in Kannada and saying that you have to ask for two at the first time it self. Then if it is only 1 person also the ticket fare is Rs.12/- then why that conductor is giving Rs.10/- to us and later she abusing and gave two Rs.12/- tickets and for change she write it on the back of tickets as Rs.80/-. After 5 minutes she came back again and saying that the ticket fare is Rs.14/- and gave another four Rs.1/- tickets and she took our ticket again and she wrote as Rs.72/- instead of Rs.76/-, later when we asked about the wrong calculation, she is abusing again and asking again for Rs.1/- change and for giving Rs.5/- change but finally she gave Rs.1/- instead of Rs.5/-. Totally the ticket fare is Rs.24/- but she took Rs.33/- without any reason. So, my question is - 1) How come she tare Rs.10/- ticket for 1 person from Marthahalli to Cosmos Mall(Brooke field) ? 2) When the ticket fare is raised from Rs.12/- to Rs.14/- because we are travelling daily from Cosmos mall to Marthahalli and we know that ticket fare is Rs.12/- only? 3) If it is Rs.14/- also, for two people it will be Rs.28/- but we charged as Rs.33/-, How? 4) How come the Metropolitan Transport like BMTC people took these kind of people, who don't know atleast how to behave with the passengers? 5) Why you are not taking any actions about the people we are complaining? 6) If we are having Rs.1/- less than the ticket fare, you are not allowing us to travel then why should we pay extra Rs.1/- or Rs.2/- of change to you and this is becoming habit to the most of BMTC conductors.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am not sure why passengers in BMTC are being treated in a very rude manner from the conductors, we are travelling by paying the amount and it’s not a free travel, even when free travels are provided people will be having some proper response and respect towards the bus passengers, but here conductors are now a days treating passengers like slaves. Today I travelled from Marenahalli to New Horizon College at around 11:15 A.M. with (Ticket number - 199957) & (Bus No - KA 01 FA - 1811) & I have given her Rs 100 note & she has written 30 in the back side of the ticket which she had to return. When my bus stop came & I asked for the balance (Rs 30) to return, she started behaving very rudely by saying that, if you don’t have the change then don’t get into the bus. I got surprised. When I asked her why she is behaving like this then she got furious & started scolding me like anything. This is absolutely ridiculous. Moreover, when I said that I will raise a complaint against you, she replied that Go & Do Whatever You Can. As she was a lady conductor, with due respect I did not argue with her. It does not mean that she will behave like this with the passengers. This kind of behaviors is totally unacceptable. How come a recognized Government organization i.e. BMTC is taking up the conductors who does not know how to behave the passengers. With the tiny hope I am writing this to you, please see what action can be taken against her so that she will change her behavior. Regards, Nihar

                          Dear sir,

I would like to inform you that none of the BMTC buses are not stopping in front of PES Engineering college, Hosur Road, Electronic city post. Till today none of BMTC bus stoped over there. In BMTC website under bus route description buses which travel through Hosur road has stop in front of PES engineering college. Sir I kindly request you to see to it seriously, it will be helpful for many of people to board bus from there those who go for job and colleges and also see to it they give stop opposite side of PES engineering college, when returning from Hosur road i.e. towards Silk Board side. Kindly do the needful. Looking forward for your ontime help for this matter.

Also please look into it that conductor give the proper change when the passengers board the bus. Many times conductors won't return Rs. 1 or 2 to the passengers and when we ask them for the change conductors and drivers speak very rudely. Many times they ask change from us most of the time we won't have the change when we have with us we can provide. So kindly see to it seriously. Change problem has been increasing in bus day by day. Kindly do the needful. Looking forward for your fast response and action on it.

                          Thanks and regards,

                          Yours faithfully,
                          Passenger.

Dear Sir / Madam, The bus route number AS-6, which commutes between Bapujinagar and Ullal Upanagar has been irregular especially during their last trips i.e. at 8:45 PM from Bapujinagar. Few months back the last trip timings from bapujinagar was 9:00 PM and was very much regular even if the bus breaks they used to get another bus. But now once the timings changed to 8:45 PM, the bus rarely arrives i.e. once or twice in a week. It has become very difficult to commute in that timings as there are only 2 busses i.e. 234 A and AS-6 to Ullal Upanagar that operates in between 8:00 PM to 9:45 PM. The next bus after this bus would be at 9:45 only. So, just imagine the importance of this bus. Few months back everything was normal, the problem started once they changed the timings of the bus. Actually, there was no reason to change the timings also. We tried even complaining about the issue to the concerned depot that is depot 16 over telephone on this number [protected]. But it’s of no use, the person who receives the call would just tell that the bus shift has been changed so for this shift there is shortage of drivers. I feel it’s a silly answer. Even when we contacted the Traffic Controller (TC) at Bapujinagar Satellite bus terminal, we received the same reply saying drivers are not willing to come as the bus timings is very late, so they skip the last trip. I just can’t understand how they could give such negligence answers. They say if the bus shift changes again then only the bus will come regularly else there is no other solution. If they know the solution why can’t they implement it? Again, I don’t understand why? And it’s not one or two weeks issue, but the issue is from 4-5 months. It’s very sad that no one took any actions to solve the problem even after complaining so many times. After complaining the next two days bus will come but again the same issue. So you people expect us to complain every day so that the bus arrives regularly. Moreover, they even have a solution, but they are not ready to implement it. What was the need to change the shift and if they are having so many issues in this shift why can’t they again change so that the bus operates regularly. It’s not just one or two who are suffering without that bus especially in those timings, more than 100 commuters relied on this bus and this was the apt bus as it would follow perfect timings. So, I want to know what to do and whom to complain about this matter except calling to this number: [protected]. We are fed up of hearing same answer and we just need solution it’s been 5 months the problem started. It’s really scary and difficult to travel in that area as it passes via Bangalore University campus and it’s a lonely extension area. So please look into this matter as soon as possible. If BMTC cannot provide busses in such areas in such timings then what is the use of having so many brands of busses or receiving awards and all such useless things. First concentrate on normal commuters who actually rely on your service.

Sir, I want to file a complaint against Bus conductor of BMTC bus route number 372. This happened on 17th June 2015 at 5.30 pm, I boarded this bus at gottigere bus stop at asked for ticket to hulimavu gate, the ticket for this stop is Rs.5, I gave him Rs. 10, he didn't give change of Rs. 5 and told to collect at hulimavu stop, but when the stop arrived he refused to give the change even after asking so many times. And he told very rudly to get down from the bus. This is not the first time sir, every time it happens, I travel 3 buses daily to reach home, daily I give change in all the 3 buses, but sometimes we don't have proper change. So I request you to take action on conductors, if they didn't give change also its ok, but please tell them to give respect to the passengers.

I Boarded a 500d volvo from Hebbal, this evening around 8.10 pm & alighted at Horamavu stop by 8.30. while paying the conductor for the ticket, i pulled out my black wallet. i forgot to put it back into my pocket immediately after the conductor gave me change as i had to take incoming call, thereafter forgot to put it back in. subsequently, i got off at horamavu without realising that my wallet had fallen off from my lap. i am only worried for my pan card, voter id & a couple of photos of self & spouse. while i have some change in it, cards have been blocked though. if any finder, conductor or driver finds the wallet, pl. contact me @[protected], [protected] sunil B Teli. tx the finder will be hugged, thanked & suitably rewarded.

Hi Sir/Madam, I am not sure why customers in bmtc are being treated in a very rude behaviour from the conductors, we are travelling by paying the amount and its not a free travel, even when free travels are provided people will be having some proper response and respect towards the bus passengers, but here conductors are now a days treating thereself as king and all others there kingdom peoples. Today i travellled from hebbal to manyata at around 4:25 PM my stop came i was not able to see the stop as all busses were standing and the bus driver stopped in between the road, i thought he will take it to aside so that we can get down safely but who cares about passenger lifes, get BTMC on the own risk thats what we need to undersatnd, as the stopped crossed i realized he was \moving i got up from the seat and i asked the conductor but he was not ready to stop the bus, instead he was telling me to get down at next stop which is 1 km far from my stop and when i asked driver to stop in return conductor was telling the driver not to stop the bus, driver slow down the bus i was about to get down conductor asking him to move if in between if anything happens who is responsible not a small sense of respect towards passengers will not be there in conductors, like this behaviour tell me is it acceptable. the conductors started speaking bad words to me when i asked him what will happen i[censored] stop the bus as i missed that by mistake, he started bad words with rude behaviour. How come a recognized Government ran system ie BMTC is taking up the conductors which not able eligible to do this job. Don't you have responsibilty towards your passsengers. is it same way in long ran it will continued. is it the same way passengers has to suffer because of this like conductors. We don't have hope that actions will be taken towards this type of conductors but still with a small hope i am writing this to you, please see what action you can take. Moreover when we call the customer care they are not ready to take any compaliants against them. Bus Number : KA 09 FA 169 started From Hebbal at 4:25 PM

I and my friend were travelling from JP Morgan stop, I took ticket to Brookefield and she took to Kundalahalli gate, but the conductor provided one ticket of Rs.55. Since there was no empty seats, my friend sat behind the conductor seat and conductor himself gave me his seat to sit. I and she were speaking about our work in English, though we were not loud the driver scolded in Kannada, though I understood I kept quiet and we didnt speak anything. But when she was getting down she handed me the ticket near the door. Purposefully the driver closed the door and she was hurt. Rather being sorry, he started abusing her. Later he turned to me and started scolding very badly. Not losing my patience I told him that she was just handling the ticket but he was like not driving the bus, stopped it in the middle of the road and started calling names, I was very angry when he included my parents also while abusing. I wanted to get down there only but he didnt even open the door when I asked him to do so. Moreover conductor also asked me to be quiet as he behaves like that with everyone. Is this a way to behave? I am very disappointed about this as I felt very embarrassed, more than all he included my parents in his abuses. What if the same repeats with other passengers? I want justice. The same should not be repeated with others.

Sir/Madam, We were traveling from Banashankari to Yediyur today(4th June' 15) at 9.50 am from bus - KA01K4442. Then the conductor asked me to remove my bag and pushed me back. When we said we are moving back, and not to push in Hindi. He started abusing in Kannada and told us he is a local, and will hit me if I argue. He humiliated us saying we are north Indians and then removed us from the bus at the next stop. I suppose we are Indians first and then from a particular state. Hope to see some action against such people. Waiting for your response Regards Anubhav Bhardwaj
