I was travelling from Wipro Gate Electronic City(Bangalore) through bmtc bus-505E towards Agara. The driver deviated route by getting over the flyover instead of going from below the flyover to stop at Agara. When I asked him not to change the route the conductor asked me to get down in middle of fly over. The bus started from Electronic City at 7am. I demand an action over this

    Date 18 june 2014, 8.30 am bmtc bus no KA 01 F 9574 in that bus conducter taking correct amount from school children and he is not issuing ticket if the children asking also he was not giving. daily he was doing same so plz take some action on him.

      We hardly get a bus in an hour. We have only 2 buses MBS-8 and 412 from Kammanahalli and frequency of these 2 buses is very less, in an hour we get only 1 bus and it will be completely crowded from Kammanahalli itself and everyday we travel on foot board. Please increase the number of buses from Kammanahalli to Koramangala. We are finding it very tough to travel to office at the morning as well as while coming back at evening.

        Sir, Iam 66 year old senior citizen regularly travel by BMTC bus from Kalena Agrahara stop on Bannerghatta Road towards City and back. I regularly travel by Volvo bus from the above stop to HBR Layout on every second Saturday and returned in the evening. Yesterday on14th June, 2014, I boarded Route No-365 (volvo) at about 9.30am and took a daily pass after paying Rs.140/= as there is no concessions for sr citizen on daily passes.The conductor ticked date and month as 14th and 6, as he didn't have punching machine. I signed the pass and kept it in my pocket. I alighted at Gopalan Mall and walked up to Jayanagar East stop to board 500A to go toHBR Layout. As 500A didn't come, I boarded 500C to go to Silk board stop. I got down at Silk board appxly 10.08am. Then I boarded 500D at Silk board Stop. The bus started its journey and the conductor started issuing tickets to other passengers. He checked my pass (No-FPT0349539) and told me that pass is not valid. When I asked him the reason, he told 14th June2014 is not FRIDAY. Then I noticed the day mentioned in the pass was FRIDAY.He told me either to buy fresh ticket or get down at the next stop. So I got down at Apartment bus stop and waited for the next bus. Then came Route No-500K to ITPL. I got into the bus and the conductor checked my pass andgave it back to me . I got down at Marathahalli Bridge stop and waited for 500D. Then came the bus 500D . I boarded the bus and the conductor checked my ticket and punched the date and month with the machine and gave back to me. I alighted at Hennur Cross stop and went to ISCKON temple from there. On my return journey I boarded 500A at Hennur cross stop at 3 PM. The conductor appeared to be a young guy checked my ticket and gave back to me. Then he came back to me as the bus was nearing Kalyannagar fly over and asked for the pass. I gave the pass to him and he took it to the driver and discussed something. He came back to me telling I hold invalid ticket and told me to buy fresh ticket. Then I went near the driver and asked him what was the problem. He arrogently behaved with me telling me to get down at Banasawadi signal. I got down there and waited for the next bus. Then came 500A again and I boarded the bus. The conductor saw my pass and gave it back to me . I got down at Jayadeva bus stop and walked up to Gopalan mall to catch another bus to my destination. I waited for Volvo 365 for some time and then boarded AS15 to go to Kalena Agrahara. I had bad experience yesterday and I thought how could a conductor cheat me like this way by issuing pass ment for previous day. I have decided in future not to travel by VOLVO buses. Even after purchasing Daily Pass, I was put into lot of problems. Will BMTC look into this matter and punish erroring staff? K.Narasimhan

            I have been traveling from Agara to Banshankri everyday in BMTC Volvo buses. I have problem getting the buses as the buses go in the service road and do not let any passenger get in to the bus.The door is shut as soon as they drop the passengers. People keep running from 1 road to another to catch a bus. Its been really difficult to commute from Agara to Banshankri. Buses wont even stop when the passenger is right in front of the door. Please give proper instructions as to where the buses are to be stopped. Passengers cant keep running from 1 road to another.

              I would like to bring to notice the shameful behavior of BMTC conductor who was abusive towards fellow passengers, refused to cooperate, talked rashly with a female co passenger. When I asked for change in return, the conductor refused to offer the change(he could have told before hand he did not have change in which case a passenger might not have boarded the bus) and started abusing. He refused to talk/did not know hindi(Official and national language of India) with another passenger and again started abusing when he asked for pending Rs.10 in return.There was one more incident in which the conductor just gave a Rs.100 note and told 2 passengers to settle the change amount among st them and when both passengers refused they were forcefully made to get down two stops after their scheduled destination and needless to say he still did not budge and did not give away the change. Yes all this happened during my short trip from cosmos-kundanahalli to bellandur. It will be a disgrace on BMTC's part if such individuals are let off without any punishment. The crew should be counselled on how to behave with fellow passengers.BMTC already has a negative image due to such corrupt individuals and if no action is taken it will only further consolidate BMTC's deteriorating image and along with it spoil Bangalore's image in eyes of people.                 With reference to the above cited subject, Route No.279 F from Boopasandra to Chikkalsandra has been cancelled from 1 month, Many people go to work in the time range of 7-9 AM. There are no buses at that time. There were Only 1 bus namely 279F. The people of our area don't know why the bus are cancelled. There are many students who travel by bus everyday in our area.
                All the buses are to be catched only at Majestic. Please take the necessary action to increase the frequencies of the above mentioned bus.

                  Bus Frequency is very low to K. R. market via Malleshwaram. Its very tedious to get buses to K.R . market. Buses coming are rushed and not able to get in also.It is very tough to manage. Paying high fare for BMTC and poor service is not acceptable. Since there are huge folks traveling to Maharanis College and Corporation it is recommendable to have more frequent buses. We hope the concerned person would look into this make the service convenient. Kindly looking forward for the betterment.

                    Today (26/05/2014) i got into the BMTC bus (Route no.250) (Vehicle no KA 50 F187) at around 8.25 AM, as i was the last one to get into the bus, i was still standing in front (near Driver) (Not at foot board) (Even dint blocked the way, standing at side). The conductor told me to go inside but their was no space inside to go, as the bus was full. She started shouting with rude words at me as i was standing purposefully in front. i told her their is no space inside to go, she was not even ready to understand my situation. Some how i managed to go inside & stood. And later on for the same place some other lady came & was standing, but the conductor even dint asked her to go inside. Even some of the Gents was standing at front Foot Board, she was not bothered about that & also dint told them to go back. SHE WAS RUDE ONLY WITH LADIES...

                      Sir, Iam 66 yrs old Sr citizen regularly travel by BMTC bus from Stage Gottigere on Bannerghatta Road towards city and back. Of late I observed BMTC Conductors are not issuing concession tickets to Sr Citizens and their behaviour towards sr.citizens is far from satisfactory. On 24th May at about 17.50 hrs I was waiting for Route No-374C at Sangam circle stop next to BSKTTMC to go to Gottigere. That was the only direct bus to my destination from BSKTTMC. The actual departure time as indicated in your website is 18.05 hrs. But the bus came near Sangam circle exactly at 17.50hrs. I went up to middle of the road and showed my hand to stop the bus to board. But the driver approximately in mid thirties on seeing me cut the steering to extreme right and drove away with more than 60km speed. The bus was almost empty at that time. On 23rd May I boarded the same bus at Gottigere at 11.05hrs to go to BSKTTMC.The actual regular fare as indicated in your website Rs.17/=. The conductor gave me Rs.15/- ticket. Is it called 25% concession to Sr.Citizen? Please arrange to publish stage wise Sr.citizen fare in leading news papers, so that it will be very useful for persons like me to argue with conductors and get the concession rates. Your Volvo bus conductors are courteous and issue correct tickets for sr.Citizen. Let BMTC educate bus crews to behave properly and issue correct denomination of tickets to Sr. citizens in future. Thanks

                        Hi Team, For your information this is the 3rd complaint I am writing and hope that I will see some response now. My name is Shyam and I used to live in Hulimavu. As an IT professional at Electronic city, I daily board bus from gottigere to Electronic city through bannerghatta road. The only bus that's run through this corridor is No- 378 and below are my complaints about it:- 1. Very low frequency between 1PM to 2PM(sometimes I had to wait almost 1 or 2 hours for it). 2. No proper running co-ordinations between following buses(Many times two buses used to run simultaneously, Keep long waiting time after it). 3. Why there is no AC bus available on this corridor. 4. Because of the less bus numbers I always find so much rush that I hardly remembered to ever find seat in it. As an sincere citizen I really disappointed by the BMTC bus services here.                           I would like to get to your notice the importance of safety measure required. Buses don't stop at the bus stop properly. Yesterday 20 may, I boarded bus at 10 am, bus no 94. Ka 50 F 205 from CUNNINGHAM ROAD which travels from Shivajinager to Yeshwantpur. Hardly had I took 10 steps to reach, the bus started off, but some how I managed to step in but before I climbed the 2nd step the driver shut the door. I got hit by the door and my hand bag was stuck outside the bus until I made my notice and they opened the doors. And to add to the worst both the conductor and driver started screaming at me to board other buses. THIS COULD HAVE MADE THINGS WORST IF IT WAS AN ELDERLY PERSON. I would like to request you to look into the matter and take appropriate measures for the safety of all passengers and prevent unnecessary accidents.

                            Today, I travelled from Kasturi Nagar to Multiplex Cinema (Marathalli) in 500D bus with registration number KA 01 FA 1925. When asked for the ticket, the conductor issued the ticket to Marathalli Bridge. Since I gave RS. 100, he asked me for a change of 5 rupee's, when i gave him he told he don't have change even though he was having cash in his hand. When it reached Marathalli stop I asked him for my balance amount but he gave me only RS. 50 back. When asked for the balance amount, he was not willing to give me and started abusing me, asked me to get out, when told will complaint to the BMTC department, he was abusing me verbally abusing me so badly. I have couple of eye victims who saw the same. If you are not taking necessary actions regarding this, I will be forced to go for "Consumer Court" and file issue a non-bailable warrant against that conductor.

                              To The Concern Authority, Am traveling daily in this way, since 6 Months i use to travel from soudhamini layout to kothanur(JP Nagar 8th phase. The Bus No. KA-01, FA-482 . He is not stopping the bus in right bus stop, he is misbehaving with women and abusing elderly people, i would request you to take proper action and help the public. He is rude behavior affecting handicaps, old age people and women Very badly. He scolds in the Bad manner. So i would request you to give him the strong warning. In future if you’re Recruiting drivers and conductors please check there behaviors and recruit them. Don’t take this kind of people. There are not worth for Society.                                 Hi I am writing this on behalf of all the public people who can be helped out myself travelling from Prasanna is so difficult to find a direct bus from Magadi road to Basavangudi i have to first take a market bus later have a change in Mysore circle where we can get 60A all the jayanagar buses & it will be so crowded that i stand in the foot board and travel every day which really has no solution we request you to kindly leave 77B 77 77c to go on magadi as the usal in the past before the metro under construction was in practice for easy to travel and its really very difficult to travels by 60A We request you to check them personally from Mysore circle how the public travels Hope you will have a solution to it Kindly do the needful Regards Public Citizen

                                  I am a regular BMTC user, travelling since 7 - 8 years regularly (almost everyday) and recent times I am seeing that the buses are not cleaned regularly. Today (08-May-2014) I boarded the bus (with number plate KA-01 F-3063) in Thanisandra around 11:50 AM and was shocked by the amount of dust layered on the seats. The last seats were even dirtier and none of the passengers even dared to go near the seats and it looked like the bus was not cleaned at least for 20 to 25 days. It is not because of the rain as the dirt were dried up and completely sticking to the seat. I wanted to check the route number of the bus after getting down at Nagawara, but the number board was even dirtier (completely brown in colour) and I could not even see the number on the board. And I am sure that no passengers can make the Number board dirtier and this is completely a case of not cleaning the bus regularly. Please take care of this, as the ticket cost is increasing almost every six months, as a commuter we are entitled to get some good service including the cleanliness inside the bus.Also BMTC is a pride of Bangalore and we need to take care of it.

                                    I am travelling from Marathahali to Agara Daily in 500 series buses. When fare was less than/equal to Rs. 15, I was giving the exact change maximum times and was worried to give exact change. But last 2 weeks fare has been changed 15 to Rs. 17 and now its difficult to give exact change fare. So it's the responsibility of conductor and BMTC.

                                    But the problem I faced, conductors are giving change to all Karnataka people(Local), but not to outsider. He had lots of change money but not willing to give. Just imagine how much they are earning extra money per day. Still after argument he told, we can't understand what you are saying, tell inKanada. Though we are from other state and don't know local language, so we are suffering this type of problem.

                                    BMTC should implement smart card system OR provide tickets for few days at a slot.
                                    Ex: Let's say fare is Rs.17. I can buy tickets for 10 days. In this way we can avoid this problem and no tension of change.

                                      I was travelled by Bus No. KA 57 F 45 Bus Route No.342 from Shanthinagar to MG Road on 23rd April 2014 at 7.15 PM. I was purchased ticket vide No.D[protected] cost of Rs.10/- to M.G. Road. The bus was reached MG road I requested, please open the door, but the Driver / Conductor have not response to my request. I am Heart patient, I want to go to my residence for relaxation. But those follows are not bothered. The bus reached Shivajinagar, I was asked the incumbant personnel, the response was not satisfactory.

                                      I request the higher authorities, which type of services you are providing?
                                      Your staff are behaving Arogently with Senior citizence

                                        Hi, I boraded my bus from New horizon college around 7.15pm in BMTC 500D volvo bus number KA 57F41 to kempapura ring road. I stood up and went near the door 2min before my stop and I noticed that teh driver did not give a stop in the Bus stop (Kempapura stop), when asked the conductor and the driver to stop, the conductor mocked at me saying "We asked if anyone wants to get down that time you did not respond and now we cannot give a stop, get down at next stop". Now, tell me how will I understand if he was talking to driver or to passengers, in a crowded noisy bus and me sitting in one of the back seats how am I suppose to listen to this and respond. So, is it that we will have to raise our hand before every stops saying we have to get down, we have to get down. Plus, I think if a passenger is getting down or not, the driver has to stop in every bus stop. Also, while getting down when I was noting the bus number, the conductor threatened me showing actions meaning he will take care of me next time. I'm really scared to get into buses with such drivers and conductor. Kindly warn them. -- Geethu

                                        An action should be taken on such kind of issues. It is a public transport not the private vehicle and they are public servants. It is not right to behave like this with female passengers and also they should be aware of the timings. In fact they should be kind enough in stopping in the right place. They are not doing any social service instead they are paid for it. It is better to be aware that your paid for this job.

                                        Oh yes, when it reached hebbal it was 8.45 and I had to go and catch another bus back to my stop again for which I had wait 15min and it was 9.15 when I got back kempapura bus stop.
                                        Every Volvo bus has to be equipped with GPS and CCTV cameras to capture such incidents. The BMTC employees are not bothered because whatever they do no one is punishing them because of no such proofs. They also speed up and compete with other buses to reach first. Where is the safety of the commuters ??

                                        On[protected] The Volvo bus no KA01 F4610 leaving itpl at 3-15 pm reached bsk at 5-15 with nill traffic.the driver was so arrogant that he never took any passengers into consi deration on repeated informing.
