I would like to bring this to the attention of BMTC Management Team. This is my second complaint. About a year ago, I had written a complaint letter to BMTC about the K2 Bus route drivers & conductors. I don't think dropping a complaint in the drop box or adding a complaint on this website has really helped anyone. I am not sure if the management is even taking a note of these complaints that so many people make every day. Most of the complaints are similar. Yet, the issues continue...
My complaint is against The K2 bus (all K2 bus drivers and conductors in general) in particular, K2 at 9:25am, 19th September 2012, KA01 F8997. Although I am giving this bus number, all the buses of this route are very mean, rash, and rude, and it is not just me, many o[censored]s have the same problems in this route buses of K2.
To list.
1. First of all, very abusive, ill-mannered behavior with the passengers. We do not want to stoop to their level you see to give back any answers.
2. Not stopping at the designation stop. Rash and erratic driving. Many a times they don't stop even though there is a bus stop at Basveshwaranagar signal and sometimes at Vijayanagar. Many a times, they take short cuts. Even when the bus stops, they don't give time for the passenger to get in and start moving the bus even though the bus is empty. When questioned, again the same filthy language is used.
3. Not rendering proper change. This has been another major issue. Even though they have change with them they do not return it back. This problem exists throughout the city though I know. Whenever we have change we give the proper amt for the ticket, but when we don't we never get back the change. I request BMTC officials to consider this issue. This might help so many people...
This is very bad to say that especially lady passengers have to go through such situations in their daily public trasports..
BMTC is considered to be public transport and the income to BMTC is also from the public. Recently, the BMTC employees had gone on a strike for pay hike. When they know to ask for more, don't they know tht they need to do their duty honestly and with respect. It is the responsibility of the BMTC officials to monitor such events, especially when they do receive complaints every day and ensure that the same issue does not arise again. It is not acceptable that its employees being abusive to the passengers..from whom their revenue is made.. not just increasing the value of tickets.. there are some basic things that have to be taken care.. We are not out here to take abusive words form your employees.. We pay for the service and not using it for free..
Feeling bad that this is the type of public transport that we are using in the metro city and that we have to keep complaining like this. If no action is taken on these issues, no wonder if very soon the public themselves take some action...
Hoping to get a solution at least this time.
BMTC — Not issuing ticket
Dear sirs,My son(studying 10std) goes to tution every day with his cousin.
He takes a bus from Bilekahalli bus stop to Arekere gate. He pays 3 rs. his cousin also gives 3rs.
Conductors take total 5rs (together for both o[censored]s), they do not issue ticket.
My wife tells my son that he should demand ticket because if the TC comes he has to pay fine.
If my son demands ticket conductor refuses to issue ticket.
This is putting my son into unnecessary pressure everyday. I am sure this might be affecting a lot of children. I have seen this happening to 15-16 year old girl once, when a TC asked her to show the ticket conductor was saying that she has not bought the ticket, where as she had paid to the conductor and he had not issued ticket.
I am a Kannadiga brought up in Bombay. I have moved to B'lore in May2004.I tarvel in BMTC every day inspite of having a car.I have travelled in Bombay buses for 40 years. I have never come across a conductor taking money and not issuing ticket. Here in B'lore every time I get into the bus I see conductors doing this. Because of this government gets less money, they increase the fare, ultimately the commuter has to bear the burden.
