Yesterday my son was traveeling by BMTC Bus No 360B from corporation stop and he got down at devasthana stop at arount evening 7.30pm to 8.00 pm.he has student bus pass. he is a II year PUC student. by that time he was carrying his college bag and his sports bag. in that sports bags has his track pant and spikes shoes and some towels and cloths.that he kept at the centre enterence's next one under the seat. he forgot to take back his spors bag.that was in that bus only and he got down.kindly if that bus conductor or driver has found that please contact to [protected]. that bag is TIPTOP company bag Grey colour

I was sitting in seat straight to back door. When i got down i left the bag and got down at BHEL stop.

Valuables inside: cash (few hundreds)

    Bus drivers don't give ticket and take less money then required. No checking is done for ticket.


    People can travel in half price without ticket. And if we want ticket we have to pay full. And by default they don't give the ticket and all money goes in their pocket. We have to ask 2 or 3 times for ticket.


    I go from kaduguri to ITPL daily. The ticket charges are 4/- . They take 2/- and dont give the ticket. And when i ask for the ticket they take again the 2/- extra and give me the ticket.

      Bus number : 87 route.
      Timings: 7:30 pm on magadi road
      Details of the Bus: KA 01 FA19577.
      Date: 22nd July 2010

      Complaint:The bus conductor completly leans on the women passenger. The women passenger is almost bent 180 degree to the ground. There was enough space in front for the conductor to enter the details of his ticket issued as it was stage. When opposed 'the conductor uses abusive language in kannada. He says "I cannot help on all this, you guys needs to manage and co-operate with him for his dirty behavior".

      I dont understand how he can speak to a women like this. I'm lodging the complaint on behalf of all the ladies in BUS.

        Sir,
        Today morning between Kamanahalli and Frazer Town, one BMTC driver driving Bus No. KA-01-F-4828 was violently moving the bus in all possible wrong directions (At Kammanhalli Main Road and later by violating the signal and lane discipline, overtook another bus near SBI Circle taking the bus towards Kulappa circle), opposite late and upon objecting was showing the attitude to the auto fellow in which I was commuting. It was alertness of the auto driver that saved us both else I would not be sitting in office writing this complaint. He literally made the bus stand in opposite lane near the circle in this enthusiasm to overtake another both. This is horrendous. In such heavy traffic, this may, God forbid, be cited as one off road accident but what happens to the loss of life ? The driver should be reprimanded not only for violating all the road traffic discipline but also for his shameless behavior which was totally guilt free.

        I request you to take very very strict action against him and all such erring drivers.

        Today morning between Banashankari & Silk Board, one BMTC driver driving Bus No. KA-01-F-3321 was violently moving the bus in all possible wrong directions

        He did not stop at most of the important juction Anyone requesting to stop the bus, he used to wave his hand and proceed fast.

        All other commuters auto and two wheelers were scared of this bus. he honked continuousely if they dont give him way.

        I request yout o take very very strict action against him.

          I was travelling in BMTC bus number KA 50 F 103-201Q.

          The conductor was behaving very rashly with the people.One girl took day pass and he started shoutin at her that she should sign the pass.Even he beated her on the head.The girl was about 18-19 years old and her mother was sitting in the next seat.I could see the insult feel in her face but she dint tel anything.
          Tha same conductor did not give ticket to another girl of 3/5Rs.

          It is really not acceptable,as I have been seeing such kind of molestation,especially towards women travellers.Many Women organisations raise therie voice for nonsense and silly things.They should Really do something about this.

          BMTC organisation is not at all trust worthy to travel as they mis guide us regarding money,destinations.

          BMTC is losing its name because of such kind o[censored]ntamed and misbehaviour,both in kannadiga's and non kannadiga's view.
          For me this use to happen many times and i complained about this many times but action

            I was till now greatful for the service provided by the organization.
            But the rude behavior of some of the personnel of your organization has brought the dignity down as it happened to me when traveling by the BMTC bus.

            Daily I travel to Yeshwanthpur from Seshadripuram(Central) stop and the bus fare charges me Rs.5/-. but when I was travelling on 16th June 2010 around 5:00 P.M through the same route, the bus conductor gave me the ticket fare charged Rs.10/-. when I questioned him, he behaved very rudely start abusing north indians and told that complaint anywhere, nothing is going to happen.
            The Bus number 250 and the state register number is KA 01 F 3585.

            This is going to happen to some one or the other everyday, but only some questions.
            So I kindly request the concerned authority to take the action and so see to that this does not happen.

            Also, I request to put the fare charge chart in the bus so that it may help the commutator the bus fares.

            Waiting for the result as soon as possible.

            Even i agree to this, since two days am facing this problem where people (Conductors of BMTC buses)are asking me to pay more by giving tickets of higher fare.

              According to the BMTC Volvo timetable, this bus (Volvo bus KA-01 F-4609) has to start at 8:00 AM from the Kalyani Magnum Tech park in JP Nagar. This incident happened on June 11, 2010. The driver started only at 8:15 AM. It took 45 minutes to cross the Silk Board signal which is less than 5 kms from the starting point. The driver unnecessarily kept stopping and waiting at bus stops wasting valuable time in the morning. I reached Kadabeesanahalli which is 16kms from the starting point after 1 hour and 30 minutes which a normal BMTC bus would take. There is no point in charging 3 times the bus fare and plying this way. BMTC should appoint officials to check whether drivers are following the bus timings properly. This request is not to increase the speed but start on time and stop wasting time waiting unnecessarily at bus stops when the bus is already overflowing. The driver and conductor refused to show their identity cards and snubbed me saying that they cannot reach earlier since traffic is at its peak in the mornings. They also asked me to go ahead and complain.

                Hi,

                I am travelling regularly from ITPL to Banashankari and do not find any volvo bus service in the morning time (before 7:30 AM) . Where as i could see a lot of vacant busses plying to Majestic quite frequently. can you please look into this matter and provide at least one volvo bus service to Banashankari / Vijayanagar from ITPL before 7:30 AM.

                  Hi,

                  On Sunday May 30, 2010 I was traveling in BMTC bus. I got in the bus from the FORUM MALL BUS STOP but the conductor charged me extra charge. The normal charge is Rs. 5 from FORUM MALL BUS STOP to LAKKASSANDRA. But just because I was speaking Hindi the conductor charged me Rs. 7. And the way he behaved with me was ridiculous.

                  There is so much discrimination for North Indian people in these BMTC buses and Government just does nothing.

                  The bus number in which I was traveling is K 01 F3298.

                  Please, if there is anyone reading this please take stern action against such bus conductors who are discriminating North Indian people.

                    To-day I bought Day Pass at BMTC Bus Rout No.197 (while get in to the Bus) towards Indira Nagar(From Halsooru, Adrsha Cinma Thetare) at 9.40 a.m on 28/05/2010 , Pass No FSB.7188352, dt.28/05/2010, I am Male. and I signed Pass also infront of Conductor. After giving Rs.102/- not returned back Rs.70/- to me(102 - 32). I thought Conductor will return. Conductor not endorsed also. Next stop of Indira Nagar(I forget to ask the change to conductor) after one hour remembered me. I went to Indira Nagar, Bangalore Bus Depo(Maintenance place) I got details Conductor Bag No. 246 DC 9824
                    I called Indira Nagar, Bangalore Depo about 8 times The Depo person not taken complaint and asked come back about 1.00 to 2.00 p.m.

                    Kindly take necessay step. I got alligation for refund. Still not I got trouble. Conductor is not responsible. The conductor should be responsible while handling the Money from Passengers.

                    Kindly do the needful.

                      On 09 Jan 2010 at 1030 hrs, I, Mrs Hemlata, resident of # 112 Netravati NGV Koramangala was travelling from Ejipura T Junction Bus Stop ( adjacent to ASC Land) to MG Road. There were only two ladies seated on first seat bench next to the ladies entry/ Exit door. I was only lady seated behind them on second seat bench; rest of the ladies part (front half) of the bus was empty.
                      Bus conductor of the ibid bus came to me gave a ticket for which I made payment opening my purse while the bus conductor was standing beside me. He, in all probability had a peep into my purse in the process. After giving the ticket, the conductor occupied the seat on my right on the same seat bench whereas there were vacant seats aplenty on the Gents' Rear Half of the bus. On my objection he got up and occupied a seat parallel to my seat bench,again in Ladies part of the bus.At next couple of stops a few more ladies boarded the bus but none sat beside or behind me till my MG Road Bus Stop (in front of Army Recruiting Headquarters).
                      While I prepared to alight from the bus almost 100m before the bus stop, bus conductor stood up and followed me from bebind and my purse hung on my right shoulder. There were 2-3 ladies in front of me but none behind me except the bus conductor. On checking my purse five minutes after in Bangalore Central to my horror I found Rs 2500/ which were there in the purse, missing.
                      In perspective of the circumstances I can say with reasonable confidence beyond doubt, that bus conductor of the bus I was travelling in, stole my money. May it therefore be requested to the MD BMTC to restore my stolen money and take appropriate action to obviate such incident from repeating.

                        Currently there is volvo service from banashankari to itpl & banashankari to hebbal. But both the busses will not go to mahadevpura & whitefield road. I mean to say, ITPL bus ll take right near big bazar & bebbal bus ll go in parallel to whitefield road. There are quite a few companies in dat road, HP, ABB etc. So pls do the needful & put some volvos in this route.

                        In the date, last night it means 22/072010 from ITPL to Banshankari bus timing is 08:00PM bus no is 500c.

                        Bus driver and conductors are , they are behaving like son of towards the passengers, Volvo is not a mass bus this is getting peoples who mostly doing software employess.but they are not even opening the door when traffic was stuck

                        I dont know that son of names, especially the mother driver is scolding if any body wants to open a door when traffic was jam, but these volvo driver and conductors taking peoples at any place even if they will rise the hand signal, if that is not bus stop also they will get into bus.But what s the problem to open a door at passengers req, even in the traffic jam.

                        I dont know the driver name and conductor name please take some action against that bloody mother and son of otherwise give me a correspondence no or email id to file a case against that mother ...

                        the volvo buses dont stop in every stop. e wait for a perticular bus for a long time and the bus doesnt stop if other buses are already parked in the bus stop unless we signal. over this they stop in the middle of the road. there are not enough buses plying during the peak hours between narayana hrudayalaya to KBS, where the crowd is too much

                          VOLVO fares for all the 500 series(ITPL- Silk board route) has recently increased by Rs 10. Inspite of these extra charges one has to pay the bus frequency for 500 series buses to Silk Board route has drastically decreased irrespective of the time (be it 5.30 PM, 6:00 PM or 6:30 PM) I had to wait atleast for 40min to 1hr for a bus.

                          To make matters worse the buses will stopa a few meteers away from the bus stop and keep waiting ( I never could understand the reason, all that I know is it just adds to the anxiety of already waiting passengers ) , and since the number of people waiting is always large they just chase the bus & rush inside the bus.

                            Sir,

                            I Mr. K Suneel Kumar a resident of Gujarat and employed in Indian Coast Guard (Ministry of Defence) visitng bangalore frequently on official purposes and travelled from Majestic to HAL Helicopter Division on 10 May 10 through BMTC bus service. The bus registration number is KA-01 FA 217 and departed Majestic (KBS) at 0815 hrs. I bough two tickets by tendering 102 INR to the conducotr (ticket nos. 298884 & 298885) and conductor promised to return the balance change of INR 80 while getting down. At the time of disembarking from the bus the conductor denied to give the balance and said the the amount was written by me. I asked to him to disclose his identity but he denied.

                            I made this complaint not for money but to enlight the authority how the staff of BMTC behaving with commuters.

                              I understand that BMTC has of late increased the rates of the volvo daily pass from Rs 75/- to Rs 80/-.
                              But the irony is, this is not put up in any form of a notice on the buses. Neither do the conductors inform the commuters about it in advance. Today i.e 3 may, 2010 when i asked for a pass, he charged me 80 but the ticket had only 75 printed on it. When i asked he was not ready to even accept his fault. And when i asked for a refund he was not even ready for that.

                              This is utter unprofessionalism and arrogance that these conductors in general show up. If bmtc is increasing the price, new tickets should also be printed. The least that is expected is that these buses have a notice being put on the buses or at least the conductors inform the passengers well in advance.

                              I have had many bad experiences in BMTC where in change is not been provided, ticket not been issued or such kind of arrogance being showed.

                                The construction of Metro project between Trinity Circle and M.G. Road has led to vehicles taking a detour near Trinity Circle area. This has also led to buses taking alternate routes; G-3 buses in particular have resorted to multiple routes from Trinity circle and sometimes skip bus stops which cause inconvenience to people who rely on Public transport. On occasions G-3 buses take people in saying that they will drop them off at the M G Road Bus Stop but they drop them off at Garuda mall (atleast half a kilometers' distance). At times they skip the Bangalore Central bus stop which also incidentally is the last stop of that route. Such irresponsible actions are causing unnecessary discommode to people in general.

                                Request BMTC/ Government to do something about this!

                                BMTC — BMTC buses causing traffic jam

                                Anywhere in the city, traffic jams are caused due to BMTC buses majorly. Reasons being:
                                1. Driver is asked to perform conductor's role as well. He doesnt care if there is big traffic jam because
                                of him. His intention is to collect tickets from the current stop people and only then he leaves the stand.

                                2. All buses stop just near the signal and they cause traffic jam. Please move the bus-stop little far from the signal.


                                BMTC must stop this Driver-Conductor role for the driver as it is not only traffic jam problem but the driver concentrates more on giving ticket even while bus is on the move.. which results in accidents. Ofcourse nothing happens for the bus or the driver. Its the other people on road who are troubled.

                                BMTC, please consider this request and take necessary action to stop the traffic jam due to your
                                cost saving funda o[censored]sing the driver as conductor as well as arranging proper bus stops in all areas.
                                BMTC is earning well as many people use public transport. It can make necessary corrections to avoid such problems being caused by them.

                                The number of buses that run from Tin Factory to Hebbal have dropped terribly in numbers! We have to wait for a long time after a tiring day, to get back home. The bus stop is filled with men and its quite unsafe for girls to wait for so long in the bus top. And today, I saw a few blind men trying to get into a crowded bus. Their struggle brought tears to my eyes. The bus driver just wanted to drive away as he was scared of the crowd waiting to get into the bus and nobody even showed any courtesy to the blind as they were all waiting for a long time and wanted to go home at-least by standing on the foot board. Please, please provide more buses that takes the crowd from Tin factory to Hebbal and avoid untoward incidents in the future.

                                  yesterday (27/4/2010) at 7.10pm near old madras road there some road repair is going on so they started to giving stop in small road which is just behind the bus stop,
                                  but the driver of KA-01 F-1058 he is not ready to stop the bus , together it was raining heavily and conductor is asking us to get in to the running bus that to the bus was almost empty
                                  and they will not respect pass holders they will talk rudely and if they are buying tickets they will respect
                                  they will drive so rashly in the ulsoor road near gurudwar temple the driver was overtaking the qualis and they are not stopping in the bus stop they asked us to get down in the signals only as they said they will not giv stops in the bus stop itseems
                                  kindly tak care of this and we can avoid many accidents by this

                                  I am passenger travel from coles park to ITC I travel in bus daily. On 7th May 2010 evening at around 6:45pm I climbed Pushpak bus (KA-01 FA 1271). Driver cum Conductor was very rude took money from me but was not bothered to give ticket. When i asked ticket he started saying I paid 1 rupee less (5rs instead of 6rs I was not aware that in Pushpak it 1 rupee more) so gave him rupee and again when asked for ticket he blasted me saying what good you are gona make to government, and dint even let me get down in my stop started yelling your fathers bus or what to stop wherever you want. This kind of rude and cunning behaviour is very bad .Kindly take strict action. Even inspection wether ticket and proper change is given to passenger should be done often.

                                    This is regarding the Misbehave happen with me today 28 April 2010 morning around 8 am in BMTC Volvo Bus KA-01,F 4409.Although it's a rule that all Ladies should stand in the front side of the Bus and guys at back but today this Bus Driver and conductor not followed up the same reule the one guy done sexual abuse with me physically which is hilarious and Bus Dirver and conductor i beleive should properly educated by this rule of ladies first in the Bus rule.Kindly check for the same as this is first timw happend with me but with lot already happened.

                                    I have always been travelling from BTM to EC in the Volvo only and if this would continue then may we need to take some hard action too.

                                    BMTC — Assault and manhandling

                                    Dear

                                    THis is to bring to notice that i was driving my car near Indian Institute of Science Road and was heading towards Malleswaram at 2:40 pm today ( 3.06.2011). Behind my car there was a Pushpak Bus (BMTC), he was driving at a high speed and wanted to overtake my vehicle. As there was little traffic i was not able to give way for Pushpak vehicle and he was overspeeding his limits and he was driving rashly and negligently (The Pushpak Bus was hired for a Marriage Trip). on that road you get Sadashivanagar Police station Signal as there was red light i came and stopped my vehicle and was waiting for green light. The driver of the Bus got down and started scoulding me in bad language and assaulted me on my face and i was wounded on the right lip which has swallon and bleeding. Vehicle No: KA01 FA 1659. Timings: Between 2:40pm to 2:50pm. Date: 03.06.2011.Bus: Pushpak Vehicle.

                                    Please let me know what action your taking aganist the driver.

                                      This is to inform that today means 20Apr2010 I had boarded BMTC Volvo(red Bus) in Bangalore with Bus No: KA01 FA1302 route no:365 from Shantinagar to Gurrapanpalya at 7pm.One of the passenger misbehaved with me as I was sitting cross legged and little bit of my shoe touched his pant.He abused me like anything in Kannada.When I asked him to speak to him in Hindi/English he got frustrated and started to abuse me in local language.The lady conductor was laughing when that guy abused and harrassed as I don't know Kannada language.When again I asked the conductor to provide me complain form she behaved that doesn't knew anything what happenned in bus.Is this the way BMTC conductors takes care of the onboard passenger.Please let me know what's the status of the investigation.

                                      Yes this racial discrimination I also faced many times.Why we're living in India and Bangalore is part of Karnataka and also Karnataka is part of India.So why is there racial discrimination ??? This racial discrimination/language barrier should be nipped from bud.
                                      WTF? You guys must be whacked out of your brain. Why should he speak in English and Hindi when Kannada is the language of karnataka. We will never stop speaking in Kannada though we known many languages. You guys cannot learn Kannada and you expect us to speak in English and Hindi. Go [protected]@#$ yourself...Its not racial.. but the same thing is going on in other cities and this is just a pay back time.

                                        Hello This Anita Raman,

                                        From many days we are facing a preoblem with this some will shout very badly if get down in signal, some people will not stop the bus in tata institure and some will tell us to get down at signal . It means there is stop. Where ever the they stop we need to get down there, if we ask they are usng bad words and we told them to come to dippo but he didn't aggreed for that. Pleas we request you to sovle this problem. Today this happened in 273F from jalahalli cross to Kempegouda bus stand. Conductor is behaving very badly. Some people will give stop near the Post Office Tata Institute and some times no stop.There is no perticular stop in this stop. each and every bus is from same route also doing the same thing.

                                        With this we wanted to inform you.

                                        WHERE IS THE STOP IS THIS NOT A SOLVING ISSUE?
