Dear BMTC,

First I would like to thank BMTC for introducing Volvo buses as Bangalore city transport.

I have a concern regarding the BMTC service to Sarjapur.

Wipro had shift there most of the bangalore employes to sarjapur main office (30000) and 40% of them depending on BMTC bus service, so its too much rush in all BMTC bus going towards Sarjapur through St. johns hospital --> madiwala water tank--> sajapr area.

There is no Volvo bus and No BIG 10 bus are allotted through this route.

I am not saying I want to travel in Volvo bus, Writing this for the people who used to travel this route.
Every day I used to stand on foot body, I cant go inside the bus because that much rush. Atleast for 50 people one bus that ratio also oki.. Now a days more than 80 people are traveling in one bus.
I just want to stand properly on the bus thts oki.

One more thing about the conductors. Bus charge from madiwala to sarjapur is 9 rupes, I used to give 10 rs, they won't give 1rupee or 2 back. I[censored] ask its very difficult to get from them.

Requesting to BMTC to put more good buses to Sarjapur through St. johns hospital --> madiwala water tank route.

Direct Volvo bus from Chirst college to ITPL, 500N is cancelled.

500N was the ONLY direct bus from Vijayanagar to ITPL via kormangala, and lot of people having office in dairy circle and people coming from Kormangala to ITPL were dependent on that bus.

This is very ridiculous that inspite of having so many commuters, BMTC has cancelled this bus service and people have to take at least 3 buses from ITPL to kormangala or the other way...

This needs to be started again asap.

Dear Sir / Madam,

We need a frequent bus services from Navrang to Mekri Circle usually bus # 176 comes from that route. The buses sometimes comes late and sometimes two buses come together, so that one stops near bus stop and the other goes off. The buses will also be full and it is becoming for lady's to stand in the bus as the buses are full and we have to stand on the footboard. People will be more during the office others. Please provide frequent bus facility and proper guidence to yor conductors and drivers. Kindly do the needful.

    Dear sir,
    I was travelling from Hennur to KR pura railway station by BMTC Bus no KA - 50, F-209. As soon as I get into the bus, I got a seat on the back. I didn't take ticket upto Ramamurthynagar because the conductor didn't come until that point. After Ramamurthynagar I went to the conductor and asked for ticket, but the conductor didn't give ticket saying that the ticket machine will not produce ticket since the bus has crossed several stages. But he collected the money.

    So I am request you to provide updated ticket machines to the conductors even if the bus crosses several stops

    Every day I come from HSR Lay-Out Appertment Stop To ITPL . The busfare in VOlVO Rs.40. But I could not understand why some times some Conductor take Rs. 45 instead of Rs.40 from people. If I ask for ticket from HSR Lay-Out Appertment Stop To ITPL, they give ticket from BTM Lay Out to ITPL or Bommanahali to ITPL and take Rs.45 to us, if We say something they are not ready to agree and tell us go and complain against them . I have already complained many times against them but I did not get any response from BMTC. I could not get understand why they are taking more money from people, I hope BMTC will take strong action against them.

      I boarded the Bus KA-01-FA-2321 on 27.06.2009 @ 2.25 pm in RajaRajeshwari nagar ( ticket no.[protected], the bus was not fully halted at bus stop. When I enquired why the bus was not come to full halt.The bus driver and conducter started misbehaviour. Most of the passengers resisted this even though they were reluctant . They told me to go and complain to the BMTC or minimster, we are not bothered.

      Both conductor and driver refused to give their name and badge numbers.

      This type of attitued is not correct and such things are happening daily in Bangalore.

      Department should take immidaite action on such employees.

      I boarded the Bus 356C in Madiwala, from Electronic city to Majestic.

      The bus number is KA01FA 1636. Time 10.00PM Date 26.03.09

      The issue is I had booked tickets with KSRTC, Chennai to Bangalore thru Internet and in their ticket it is clearly declared that free travel in local city buses is allowed prior to two hours of travel.

      My KSRTC bus time is 10.51PM from shantinagar bus stand and I boarded this city bus volvo aroun 10.00PM. I was forced to exit the bus stating the reason, I should buy the ticket for travel. My explanation to the conductor and driver was all in vain as they had are not intrested to understand of what is written on the ticket.

      I tried boarding two other city buses and the answer is very similar as I produce my ticket as a Pass to travel free in Local Bus. Finally I purchased ticket and reached shantinagar bus stand.

      Beyond money, its pain and angony and it would be great If I can register a complaint against BMTC, for not keeping their staffs on the agreement between KSRTC and BMTC and free travel.

      I really dont find any helpline numbers or email ID to lodge a complaint.

      Thought me sharing this will be atleast read by BMTC or KSRTC officials.

      Please educate your staffs some of them are like criminals. They talk very bad words in local language its very irritating. Once a conductor took more price than the actual ticket price when questioned he ask me to get down from the bus. He is really a uncultured dog. I was travelled same distance with other bus for the actual amount. And some of your conductors are acting like bus owners. They will start fight with poor passangers. Being a local person it is my duty to inform all these things to the department. You people are giving public service by taking the money from the public not free. If you put 1000 new buses and thinking that your providing good service to the public it is aboulutely wrong. Unless you will get good staffs in the bus you will never get succed in your project.

      Please take some action and make the public happy with your service.

      I am writing this letter on behalf of hundreds of common people those who depends on a particular BMTC service which conducts it service without any punctuality.
      I am staying in Anathapura near, TC PALAYA, KR PURAM . We have only two bus which conducts it service through from TC Palaya, Anathapura, to MAJESTIC through indian Express circle . 301F.
      Morning time we passenger face lot of trouble because of irregularity in bus timing . most of the office going and labors are suffers due to this irresponsibility.
      There is two service in morning time one starts by 7:30am(suvarnna 301F) which maintain its timing properly morning as well as evening.
      Another bus it timing was 8:10am (at Anathpura before ) now it is unpredictable, sometime it come by 8:20, or 8:30 or 9:00 or 9: 30, which we can not relay, because of these irregularity it adversely affect our office in timings. There is no other mode of transport which we can rely. We doubt this Bus Employees purposefully delaying or making irregular to support illegal commutting srvices like Private Vans and AUTOs.
      Please take needful action against thes irresposbility and save our valuable time.
      I boarded the Bus KA-01-FA-107 on 30.11.2009 @ 8.25 pm under marathalli bridge. i am on the way to Ring rd mahadevpura. the driver behavior is very rude manner. when i ask about the ticket rate. he replied in non-scene manner

      I got into the no 360 B, KA 01 FA 1789 on 06.02.2010 at 7.25 am from ATTEBELE. There was a man sitting in LADIES seat. I arequested him to give the seat .But he did not do it.I requested the condunctor to tell him, he did not do anything even after I requested 2 to 3 times. He said he does not mind even if I give any complaint. But he refused to give me his ID number.

      I used to travels maximum times through bmtc bus from Inchara hotels(puttenhalli) to Jayanagar 4th block by paying Rs.7/-(Seven Rupees) one way & same travels charge paying for return.On 16th March 2010 at 7:30PM, I cached the bus No.KA01F[protected]c) at 4th Block, Jayanager and paid money for purchasing ticket with Rs.10(Ten Rupees), The bus conductor has give Rs.9(Nine) ticket(ticket no.A[protected] and retain back side Re.1 forcefully.When I argued that only the Rs.7/-(seven) ticket charge, The bus conductor shouting at me in Kannada language with rough talk.If this type of misbehave will be done by the bus conductor then to whom we will report.

      I too faced similar incident today ( 7-Jun-2010 ) with BMTC Volvo bus 360B to Majestic from Attibele...

      BUS NO: KA 01 F-4412
      CONDUCTOR NAME: Mallika ( as per him ).

      I boarded the bus from Hebbagodi and took day pass. Forgot to sign the pass today.

      TC came in between and said that he is seizing the ticket for not signing... I asked him to pay me back my ticket charge, but he refused. I was not traveling without ticket. Traveling with valid fresh ticket and still harassing and causing nuisance to passengers who stopped using their car supporting government's attempts to reduce traffic issues in the city.

      If this is the case, I will start driving my full size sedan everyday to office. No other option. AND REMEMBER, slowly rest of the converted people also will follow. AND ALL THE AMOUNT BMTC SPENT ON THE ADVERTISEMENTS AND SETTING UP SERVICE ETC WILL GO INTO MAJOR LOSS !!!

      First of all, it is not mentioned that ticket will be seized if not signed. They can stop passengers from entering another bus if not signed. But they should not have seized the ticket itself. Or even if they seize, they should given a receipt so that passenger can continue the travel to their destination.

      THIS IS HORRIBLE ATTITUDE OF BMTC SENIOR MGMT.

      First of all, it is illegal. BMTC is not a statutory body like RBI or SEBI or a Court of Law to create their own laws which govern public places. BMTC is just another company which provide services to customers for money. They are bound to all the laws of the land.

      Legal Point:

      When I paid Rs 80 and got the day pass, I entered into a contract with BMTC which allows me to travel in their buses any time for the day. They have to keep their copy of the contract and I have to keep mine. When you enter into a contract, both have to sign. It cannot be just one sided.
      Again, if they are interested in my signature, they should collect it and keep it for their record. They cannot ask the consumer to sign and keep with the contract with them !!! If consumer wants to board another bus, he will have to sign obviously.

      THIS IS A BREACH OF CONTRACT NOT TO ALLOW A CONSUMER WITH THE SERVICES PROMISED IN EXCHANGE FOR MONEY, AND NOT COMPENSATING THE LOSS WHICH IS THE COST OF THE TICKET ( LESS DISTANCE TRAVELLED ).

      Today i.e 22 july 2010 at 8:20am I took the bus (KA 01 F 8896 C-4) from Marathahalli (Kalamandir stop) to Doddanakundi.The ticket costs Rs 4/- I did not have change so I gave the conductor Rs 10/- . He started shouting at me that he does not have change and even asked me to get down of the bus.
      Luckily I had one of my pg mate who was travelling in the same bus and she agreed to give the ticket money. The conductor kept on scolding me till I reached my stop and the driver was also supporting him.

      Please do take action on these people.

      Dear Sir,

      I got into Bus on the 3rd Aug (Hope it is 145), Registration no is KA50 F197. I have a complaint on both Driver and the conductor. Conductor took 4 rs from Johnson Market to Philominas Hospital stop wherein the driver stopped only in the signal and he is arguing that he is never give a stop in the bus stop. And the lady conductor didnt even give me ticket even though I am asking her.and when cheking comes you people blame the public. Few times public might be wrong but not always. The conductor is a hindu lady and driver in a muslim guy with beard. They never stop in bus stops and rather stop half a kilometer from the bus stop either in the signal. Then what is the necessity for me to pay for ticket wherein i am getting down in signal and walking around. I am very clear to you people that until you people take action with this driver and conductor I will never pay for ticket in this bus. and Moreover I will have this printout with me so that you people cannot blame me. If the same continues then I will go to the senior officials. I need to get a revert in this below specified mail Id neither I should get a call.

      timings — Drivers negligence

      Dear Sir,

      I Venugopal M Travel from Sarjapur to ITPL daily for work in shift basis and i found the BMTC busses are not visiting Sajapura Bus Stop in the early 5 am morning Trip they stop at Police station and they go from their only please set them to visit Sarjapur Bus stop and also the Attibele busses also they wont visit sarjapur bus stop please rectify the same. Also evening from 7pm to 8pm no busses available from sarjapura to Hoskota they all come at 8pm and from 8pm to 8:30 pm all 3 to 4 busses will start the 1st crossing bus at 8pm wil be having heavy crowd and later busses will be no seating capacity also please set the busses starting from 7 pm to 9 pm at 15 to 20 min gap so that wel accommodate the public.

      BMTC & KSRTC buses — Arrogant Conductors

      Im Glad to say i've been a Resident on B'lore since my birth for nearly 25-26 yrs . Its so amazing to see there has been lot of changes which has taken place in just 8-9 yrs ! Public transport Like BMTC buses have increased a lot to the help of commuters & Traffic aswell . Today I'm sharing few incidents which took place while I had travelled in Bus !

      Atleast twice or thrice in a week I travell by KSRTC bus to HOSUR from B'lore & the problem we face is while returning back that is Conductors say they wont go to ATTIBELE as they will go over the Fly-over 1. They rarely use the fly-over !
      2 . The reason why they want people from Attiibele not to come in the bus is its just a low fare of rs.5 per ticket .So they underestimate .

      I here-by request the Authority to look into this matter as this causes lot of Inconvinience & Frustration !

      Today 26 November 2011 i was standing (Babusapalya) bus stop waiting for bus, but no bus where came around off on hour. Around 5:00pm bus where was coming but he did stop in the bus stop he stop over 5' to 6' feet the people where ruining to Catches the bus so soon he took the bus not a signal person catches that bus. In the bus few people where there, i dont the bus number but i know the boarded no of Bus

      Firstly would like to congratulate the BMTC Team on doing a commendable job, for the services have improved a lot. And there are couple of friendly and helpful bus conductors and drivers, while there still a huge number of them who are very arrogant and rude in handling commuters.

      I would like to bring to your notice an incident about Over speeding of Volvo bus during my travel today. I boarded into the Vajra (Volvo) bus, via Route number 335E-Bus No, KA 01 F-8793, plying from Market to Kadugodi, where in I travelled from Corporation to Domlur Flyover, having a ticket number 049123, dated 08.12.11 @ 9.43 am. The bus driver seemed to be having a pleasure drive at the cost of commuters, over speeding and applying sudden breaks which was causing a lot of inconvenience to commuters.

      BMTC employees are responsible for the safety of the public, as understandably they have their share of stress, but not at the cost of the public. Would kindly request the BMTC officials to take necessary action and also provide the necessary training and guidance to their bus drivers so that we can avoid any mishaps on roads occuring due to overspeeding bus driving.

      Yes its an issue with the conductors i feel... even they dont respect women..
      yesterday i was travelling from Kormangala to Kalyanagar and a man had occupied a ladies seat on which the label wasnt there but still its a ladies seat then why a man should occupy when I told this to conductor he is supporting man instead o[censored]s .
      They say equal rights to men and women were is it in bus only 7 seats to ladies and more than 10 seats to mens? why this injustice?
      I was travelling in bus no:KA-01 F-3229 I boarded the bus between 5.15 to 5.30 from Canara bank kormangala I dont understand why conductors act like this
      If we get such response from Govt employee then forget about others... But I feel private atleast they give respect since without customers they dont get money.. but here govt sector conductors get full forced salary hence they act like this.

        when i was in hurry to go college i steeped into the bmtc bus(298m/ka-04 FA-463) i have taken the ticket from yelahanka to majestic (Rs10) i gave him 20 rupees but he give me only 5 rupees and he told me that there is no change. u collect afterwards and i saw one person giving a 5 rupees change to conductor and then i asked him to give change but he again told me there is no change then i argued with him he started scolding me in kannada but i cant understand the kannada. all the passangers were starring at me i felt very sad .when my stop came ihad to get down without taking change .

        if any action is going to be taken on the conduter . i want to slap him, i like to spit on his face and i want to kick in is assand i want to say him just [censored] off

        i pickup Bmtc bus on the date (19/12/2009) from JEEVAN BHIMA NAGAR to SHIVAJI NAGAR.i given 102 rs to conductor for taken bus pass.conductor given me pass but did not given change me than i told with conductor to return my extra money.conductor told, i have not change you wait i will get change then i will return your money but when, i reached to SHIVAJINAGAR and drop the bus but conductor did not return my money.i think both forgeted.I have not remember bus no. but i have pass my bus pass no-SRG 3285379
        on the date 19/12/2009.kindly u can search bus no and reply me about what is process that i could taken my extra money(change) by conductor.
        The same happen to me today . I took best bus no. 708 (Dindoshi agar) from golden nest to novelty bus. I gave bus conductor rs. 10 . and the ticket was for rs. 6 .He gave me ticket no.[protected] . he asked me for 1 rupee change which i was not having. he told me that wait for change to come, then i will give you your 4 rs. i agreed. but to my surprise i saw that he was giving change to other passengers infront of me. I remain calm . but then his bag was filled with coins and when i asked him to give me my change back, he beacame rude to me and said meri marji mujhe jab chuta dena hoga duga koi me umhara gulam nahi hu. iasked him politely that why you are not giving me change when you are giving change to all other passengers. he said meri marji and tum apni bak bak band karo samjhi na. ab to me tumhe chuta duga hi nahi jo karna hai karlo. and he went forward issuing tickets to other. No one helped me. and i didnt get that time to note his batch no. all i have now is ticket as proof and nothing. This issue i am submiiting here so that some one can help me to teach this guy a lesson. the question is not of 4 rs. i will think i have give it to beggar. but question is of behaviour of a best bus employess, this is very common case. i think this conductors loots every 10 to 20 passengers per day and filled their own pockets.

          Currently there are no buses plying between Bannerghatta Road and Marathahalli through outer ring road. This bus service can address the traffic problem for passenger working in and around the offcies in outer ring road, sarjapur, marathahalli (Accenture, Intel, Oracle, Touchstone, CapGemini, Nokia, Madura Coats, Cisco, Symphony etc)

          Request you to start the service at the earliest
          There are many commuters from Bannerghatta Road towards Marathahalli and Whitefield.Request you to start a service for the same

            The public transportation to telecom layout, Shivramkaranthnagar and adjascent layouts like MCEHS layout is in a pathetic condition. Buses which are commuting now is 286E & F which are at 8 am onwards. As they are all single buses we can see people waiting even at 8.10 for the bus, not to mention if that single bus does not turn up we cannot reach our destination in time. in the evening also after 6.15 there are no buses until 7.40 pm to reach our houses. For children also it is very difficult to travel to schools. It would be convenient if the buses start at 7.30 onwards, so that we can reach our offices by 9. Evening also if the number of buses are increased it would be helpful for women also to reach home safely as presently we are walking from Amruthhalli via Nehru research center, telecom layout which is a dark remote stretch to reach MCEHS layout. It would be of great help if the concerned authorities pay attention to our problem and increase the frequency and number of buses to this route

              i have been travelling from Chikkabanavara to NTTF by bus for many years to reach my office. Everytime i try to take a bus from Jalahalli cross to Chikkabanavara, i have to move from one place to another (it is as good as playing a musical chair as there is no one particular place for the BMTC/KSRTC OR PRIVATE BUSES to stop). This is not only with me but with many other daily commuters. Many private buses /vans are parked for long time at this juncture resulting other bus not getting identified space for parking of BMTC/KSRTC buses. Because of this commuters are forced to move from place to place whenever private buses look for place to park.

              It is suggested the authorities of traffic police and transport look into this vexed problem and resolve the issue.

                Hi Sir,

                I have faced very bad experience with BMTC conductor today. I dont know how to approch to give the complaint on this. Hope this message will pass to the required authorities and take the neccessary action

                I am working in ITPL and staying in AGARA.
                Today morning around 9.30 AM i catched BUS 500N

                Actually i am travelling from past 6 months to ITPL in BMTC VOLVO. But i was never told like this.
                I can assure that is not conductors seat. Even it is.. He should have a sk be before.
                Not after doing all these nonsense

                Anyway... Please let me know where should i give the complaint?

                I boarded a bus from Huskur gate to E-city (the bus was from Jigani to Majestic)
                I paid the amount for the ticket (3 Rs) but the bus driver returned me 1 Re without ticket, but i asked for the ticket instead. he took the money without giving the ticket, after a lot of argument he gave me the ticket.
                When I was about to get down he man handled me, and I woul appreciate if porper action is taken against this conductor.

                BMTC — Mis behaviour of conductor

                I have faced very bad experience with BMTC conductor today. I dont know how to approch to give the complaint on this. Hope this message will pass to the required authorities and take the neccessary action

                I am working in ITPL and staying in AGARA.

                This happened to me in Bus no 362. I was sitting in the ladies seat and the conductor was literally pushing me everytime he passed by. when I changed my place, he came there too and started doing nonsense. Then a guy when he came and stood very near to me, my face was literally red and the conductor began to irritate me asking me questions- What is my problem and so on... I got angry and literally became stern and told him, that's none of his business. I asked the guy to move far from me. He moved and this conductor wantedly went and stood at the steps when I was getting down. The driver was decent enough to support me when I scolded that guy. The conductor was an irritant. He should be punished. All this happens in BMTC buses. Please let me know what should be done in this regard

                I have purchased monthly gold pass bearing serial no V045524 on 02/06/10 from volvo bus conductor . After verifying my voter id card and my pan card the conductor has issued the pass. I travelled from Jaynagar 9th block, east end to K.R.Pura railway station.Thereafter I travelled in a Swaraj Mazda bus bearing register no. KA 01F2657 route no. 290E plying from Ulsoor to Hope farm at 11.15AM
                There was a lady conductor and I showed my pass and id card. She refused to accept the pass and both the id cards refered above and insisted to purchase a ticket.As per the rules of your institution I can travel in the ordinary bus on the basis of above said gold pass. She has denied my right.She stopped the bus for 15 mins and on request to disclose her conductor batch number and her name she refused to do so due to her attitude she has caused delay in my reaching the zonal BBMP office by 20 minutes.

                you had clarified that the pass can be purchased without BMTC id card inspite of it the lady conductor has misbehaved and talked in a lighter matter and she was very arrogant in nature.Due to her attitute I was hurt very much and therefore I request you to take suitable action against her for misbehaving with the passengers.

                Today, October 16, 2011, we boarded bus from Tatanagar, we we supposed to get down in MecrI Circle. But driver did not give stop only. when we asked for stop, Conductor and Driver started abusing us very badly, they ended up commenting on my dress, earphone, etc. When asked to behave decently they started shouting even more badly on top our their voice till Palace gutahalli, they just didnt stopped their nonsense talk. apart from that when we finally got down, the conductor came back o[censored]s yelling in middle of the road, this incident has shattered me a lot, is this the way this low class conductor behaves with women passengers? will i get justice? will anybody punish this driver and conductor? can anyone pls guide me where to lodge complaint against them?

                  Request the BMTC authorities to improve the bus-facility for areas surronding Malathalli-Balaji Layout/Jnanajyothinagar. All the residents have to come to the ring-road (kengari) to catch buses either going towards market/magadi road/nagarabhavi.

                  Please extend 61As; 238u, 235 series;238 series upto Malathahalli Balaji Layout. This will ease the traffic near NAgarabhavi circle and also help the commuters who reside in the surroinding areas of Malathahalli, balaji layout.
                  Please provide Volvo bus services Between Kempe Gowda Bus Station to Peenya 2nd Stage, There is no Volvo in that route

                    This morning i travelled from majestic to koramangala via bus B5462. The bus was crowded and all the gents were standing in ladies standing area and conductor missed one side of ladies and just moved towards gents side to collect the amount and reached back to ladies side when the bus had already travelled 10 Kms. while asking him for the ticket he just ignored and left.Finally after some time the squads appeared and charged me...

                    I have frequenty observed that a driver cum conducter running the bus in airport road Bus no KA 01 F 3548 issues the ticket to coustmers and writes the change amount to refund on back side of the ticket and when we ask trhe change back he will give by keeping that ticket with him, so he recycles the same ticket to another customer, ,

                    and i saw he does it to so many persons from so many days, when i asked him about this he scolding me like anything,

                    please have a light on this issue he is eating publics money, is there no one to stop this

                    I hope the officers may take action on this
                    this is very rampant in all routes. not only bmtc, but also ksrtc. especially, Kaveribhavan - Doddaballapur buses.
                    Dear Concerned,

                    There are so many complaints coming up on the issue of recycling the tickets especially in those buses which are run by single person i.e Driver Cum conductor.

                    Even i have come across such situations on the routes Majestic to K.R. Purum. Even though there are so many mails of this particular issue, its still in dark to known what action has been taken on those employees who are indulged in such fradulent activities.

                    And in some cases where the actual ticket is Rs. 9 they issue a ticket of Rs. 10 and when we ask them why they are issuing ticket of 10 when it is actually Rs. 9 they misbehave with us.


                    I would request the Transport minister, the commisioners & Managing directors of this dept to take this issue as serious misbehaiour on the part of the dept employees and take action on them so that others dont dare to involve such activities.

                    After all it is the Govt & public money which is going for toss.

                      Dear Sir,

                      There are absolutely no bus services available from Yelahanka to Banaswadi/K.R. Puram/Marathahalli/Whitefield or anywhere touching the ring road. Also, Hebbal bus stop, where the road touches the ring road is far away from the ring road, courtesy the flyover.

                      Will the BMTC provide a direct bus service from Yelahanka to, say Marathahalli or Banaswadi or Ramamurthy Nagar crossing etc, so that it is easy for people, especially the Software Engineers to travel to places like ITPL and Electronic City etc etc?

                      290's and 291's will help only people coming from yelahanka. There are many students coming from GKVK and nearby places to Banaswadi. There are no buses from GKVK to Banaswadi or K.R.Puram. They have to come to hebbal, walk to hebbal bridge, cross the notorious railway line, and board the bus to K.R.Puram. It's high time to have a bus route like K.R.Puram->Ramamurthy Nagar->Hebbal->GKVK->Yelahanka. Will BMTC able to provide such route?
                      290E has a very long route, and 291D/K service is extremely poor. They won't suffice.
                      Moreover, the route followed is very unfamiliar.
                      yes this is a common complaint among people, its hard to travel from banaswadi to yelahanka and vice versa, we need a bus travelling from kr puram -> r m nagar -> banaswadi (ring road) -> hebbal -> gkvk -> allalsandra -> and then yelahanka. . there are buses to yelahanka from banashankari but they are again long routes which divert at hennur signal and go via some poor improper roads and takes a lot of time to reach yelhanka, and it does nt hit any gkvk, hebbal or allalsandra also. .

                      I have read most of the comments & i wish to post the comment for the people who are located in Yelahanka doddaballapur road towards Ramanashree california resort, most of the buses ply from Yelahanka new town ( local BMTC Buses) & hardly few buses ply from the following point mentioned above there are more apartments which has come up, due to the non availability of volvo buses the public/students/engineers who has to travel towards hebbal / banaswadi / Ramamurthy nagar / K.R Puram / White field are using their own means of transport, atleast one bus is introduced towards this routes starting from Ramanashree will help most of the commuters.

                      If you have a concern about the under utilization, Then atleast 2 trips in the morning & 2 trips in the evening can be the option for a trial run for a month to decide to ply the route,

                      Suggestable timings could be reaching white field by 08:00am & 09:00am & evening 05:00pm & 06:00pm starting from white field.

                      The reason for suggesting the above timings are most of the Software engineers in white field have the working timings starting from 08:00am To 05:00am & 09:00am to 06:00pm in worst case most of the people will be using BMTC bus services to beat the traffic congestion in the morning & aswel in the evening.

                        On 2nd June 2009, at around 6 PM I boarded BMTC Volvo bus from Residency road to Manipal Hospital (Kodihalli - Airport Road)

                        The details of bus was as follows :
                        BMTC KBS Depot - 07
                        No 00144713
                        Route : 335 E
                        Other details as available from ticket issued :

                        When i gave him RS 100 for the ticket, the conductor rudely told to give change or get-down from the bus. I denied getting down from bus.

                        Thereafter 5 minutes the conductor came & collected Rs 100 & issued a ticket of Rs 15, writing at the back of ticket Rs 85 due.

                        He has not refunded the balance anount even after repeated requests.

                        When the destination was almost reached, i finally requested him to refund the balance.He ignored me completely & told me to sit, knowingly that i need to get down immediately.

                        Then he threatened me neither to refund money nor to stop the bus.

                        He showed his power by threatining that he donot care of any complaint against him. He even denied sharing his token details.

                        Then with the help of other passengers of the bus, i finally managed to get back the refund & able to stop the bus.

                        Sir,
                        is it justified to tell a lady passenger to get down from bus, midway?
                        is it justified to deny refund of money (Rs 85 for just a Rs 15 fare)?
                        is it justified to deny stopping bus at bus stop & finally?
                        is it justified to misbehave a lady passenger in public?

                        An effective & early action in this regard is highly appreciated.

                        I am ready to co-operate in any enquiry/proceedings against the bus conductor.

                        1.Every time we will not get seat to sit. Yesterday (12.11.09 - Thursday) this thing happened at bus @ 7.45am from Kundlahalli gate I standing in the 3rd Ladies seat. In my place 3 gents were standing, Conductor did not send them back the gents and he will stand by pressing me and issue the tickets to others. I told him, you can't send back the gents & you did not stand in gents side & you will be pressing my stomach, I spoke with him, then conductor harrassing me so much and shouting like anything & he will ask me to get down.

                        Respected Sir/Madam,

                        My office is in ITPL and I stay in ChandraLayout. We have direct bus 333T Volvo from Nagarbhavi to ITPL which goes via ChandraLayout. However, the bus timings is not very clear. The bus comes to ChandraLayout at different timings everyday as follows;
                        7:10 AM, 7:25 AM, 7:40 AM...if it is 5-10 mins delay we can understand. But, vary in bus timings everyday will not help anyone.

                        Many people are depending on this bus to travel and please schedule timings/fix timings and let us know.

                        I gave conductor 100 RS and he returned me nothing and wrote 85 @ the back of the ticket . I had to get down @ my stop but @ my stop he was not there in the bus so i got down.

                        BMTC — No refund of change and rude behaviour

                        Hi,
                        I am Siddhartha Misra and I want to register a complaint against BMTC bus no.G2 regitration number KA 01 F-331 towards the rude behavoiur of the conductor and not providing change.
                        I took it from MG road to Bomanhalli at 8:00PM cost of ticket is Rs 11 and at that moment I havent had exact change so I gave Rs 20 but he showed a rude behaviour and asked me to get down of the bus,I said please write it behind the Rs9 which I ll take later from you.He wrote it behind after lot of argument.

                        When I reached my destination I asked for the change but still he was furious and angry ,I showed him my purse that I don't have change but he argued and said he don't care get down without it.He had change with him then also he was arguing and showing rudeness which was disgusting .Then he asked for the ticket and I gave him but then he tore the Rs 9 written behind,which was shear a theft. Then I took Rs 8 ticket from him,thinking instead of money going in his pocket it should go to the state government and he gave me Rs 1 back which made me realize he had change with him but was not giving me back ,after taking the ticket I got down to my destination.
                        The named him as Kumar was not at all guilty of his behavior.
                        The image of BMTC has gown down in my eyes with the behavior of this conductor.
                        Certain measure needed to be taken to make them realize how to behave with everyday commutator.

                          I was driving in my car from Silk board flyover towards electronics city. After madivala market a volvo BMTC bus route 356C bearing regn no. KA01FA 589 ( around 9.00 am, 25th May 2009) overtook me and suddenly came to the left to block me at the flyover. He wanted to overtake another bus. I immediately applied brakes or else I would have hit the flyover parapet wall. My car was scraped slightly at the front bumper. When the bus stopped at the rupena agrahara busstop I asked the driver why he is behaving in this manner. His bus service is for the help of the people and not to trouble other drivers. But he abused me and went away. If I had not applied brakes and if the bus would have hit my car, there were chances of my car falling off the bridge. Is this how BMTC has trained its drivers. Do they not have any road manners. I need a reply to this from the transport minister of Karnataka and the MD of BMTC. They are sitting on their chairs and not checking how the organisation is functioning. There is no complaint number. If you call the bmtc control room they say to call a BSNL toll free number. Most o[censored]s have mobile phones. At least a land line would help to put in a complaint. What an UNPROFESSIONAL ORGANISTION.

                          This is in regards to BMTC BUS ka01 FA 1036 The person who was driving going in left of the road automatically he came to right to avoid pathhole. I was on the right with the headlights on and telling him not to come to right but he never saw that and drove the bus to right and I was inturn had to hit the divider and sufferred from injuries. I stopped the bus and asked him about it and he told me that he never saw the head light and things like that. This happened on the old madras road at around 6:30 in the morning the rout # of the bus is 307b

                          BMTC Bus — Rash Driving

                          I was traveling in my car on Old Madras road 300 mts (approx) before the NGEF junction towards KR PURAM. My car was on the extreme left lane while a BMTC bus with reg no: KA01 F2047 moved suddenly left after overtaking us almost hitting my car making us to apply brake with no room on the left. This happened around 9:30 to 9:45PM on 2-Dec-2008. Bus route was 317. I hope the authorities take note of this and set the drivers driving habits right.

                          BMTC Bus Service — Rude Drivers

                          Last Sunday (26th May) my brother and myself boarded a bus (Bus No 317) near KR Puram at around 2'O Clock. Since ISRO exams were conducted at Garden City College that day Many people boarded the bus. So the bus was terribly crowded. Still the driver wanted to get in as many people as possible. He was shouting at the passengers very badly to adjust and go in as much as possible. He even pointed out some girls and started scolding them in Hindi. Many were students and from out of stations and we can clearly see their dissatisfaction in their face. Later on the way he was about to hit an auto on his right and was fighting with the auto driver. Somehow the passenger from auto rickshaw convinced them and they started to move apart. After some time he was fighting with the same auto driver again. Since i cant follow Kannada i dint know the reason why he fought again. But from the co-passengers sitting in the nest seat i came to know that the bus driver was shouting at auto driver saying that "Every one in the road takes such turns and hits the other person at times. None of the drivers follows the rules. Why should i? Do what u can do.". I was really shocked by these words. We people travel in bus thinking that the drivers will drive safely. But if this is the mind set of the drivers then how can we travel in bus? Later When the bus reached ulsoor market the conductor shouted the stop name, we were sitting in the first seat and got up immediately. Since we are new to the place we were not aware of the bus stop. but as soon as the conductor announced the stop we dint delay much as we were sitting in the first seat. But the Driver started shouting at us for not being ready before the stop has reached. More over only we two o[censored]s (My brother and myself) got down at that stop. Cant he wait even for a minute or at least few seconds in a stop, for the passengers to get down. I would suggest the concerned persons to warn the drivers and advice them to treat the passengers properly. Even though they don't treat the passengers with at most respect they need not treat them rudely. because they may be people like us who are new to city or traveling to new destinations. They may even have some physical or mental problems, these kind of treatments will hurt them for sure.

                          BMTC — Transportation facility

                          Dear sir,

                          This is in reference to BMTC services from Bommanahalli to Begur, kindly note that we are facing lot of problems to travell from to this area.

                          Reasons being very few buses fly between these areas at all time.

                          I can reach bommanahalli from Bhansankari by bus, but my time gets wasted in bommanahalli waiting for bus for about 1 to 2 hrs max everyday. wont be able to reach home early for this sake.Due to non-availability of public transportation for this area if even one bus comes that will be full to full rush. people will be almost to the door standing including ladies.

                          There are many autoriksha business in these areas, where in they fill as many as 5 ~ 6 people in an auto posing dangerous situation to both trafffic & person travel inside these rikshaws. and that too gents & ladies both wil be seated which is again uneasy to travel for ladies.

                          I, on behalf of all those suffering the same, reqeust you to consider this request and arrange for better transportation and convenient way of travel taking special care for ladies atleast to stand comfortably in the bus.

                          I was driving on my two wheeler on the KR Puram hanging bridge (5th Juanuary 2010 at around evening 8.35 PM). A BMTC Bus Route No. 317, vehicle No. KA00 - - 722 overtook my vehicle from left side and the driving was really rash. The overtaking happend at Tin Factory, right near the entrace of the hanging bridge. There was another KSRTC Bus which was passing from the right side and I was in a very danger situation. Kindly request the authorities to take proper action against such rash driving and careless attitude. Your organisation can never take up the responsibility of compensating if something happens to an individual. Atleast try to take up the responsibility to train your drivers in a proper manner. This might save several lives. Why don't you people adopt some cc cameras to know the way how rashly and carelessly they drive.

                          Your organisation reacts immediately whenever there is an hike in petrol and diesel and revise the ticket fares. Why don't you show the same kind of interest when your drivers are driving the buses in such a bad manner - who does not even know from which side to overtake. They also use dirty language when they speak. I request you to kindly take some action.

                          These complaints by drivers and commuters - against rash and negligent driving of Public Transport - seriously jeopardising safety of life and property, don't seem to be fictitious figs of imagination. This negligent act is punishable under Indian Penal Code. Before such drastic action is perhaps conceived, Redessal sought by aggrieved Shri Sudhir Khanna is very justifiable. Hon'ble Transport Minister ought to answer and assure him and people at large of corrective action taken and preventive measures instituted to rein in the grave indiscipline. Its futile later to express sympathy on loss of cheap Indian life - in sovereign territory and overseas alike - and shed crocodile tears. Aren't all countrymen brothers and sisters as pledged in our contitution ?
                          There apparently appears to be no hope so far dear Sudhir or do you?. Today, it was my turn to scare for my life. On 27 May 2010, at 0745 hrs, I was jogging along in front of Ejipura T Junction Bus Stop (adjacent ASC Land). On sight of people waiting there for a bus, I moved a little away from the side in order not to become hindrance to them. Within matter of a few seconds, G3 Big 10 Bus Regd No KA-01 F 4329 ( KA - 01 F 4329) almost over ran me from behind. On my enquiring from the bus driver ( a young man aged about 30, sporting stubble) that he scared me to death, he argued why I was moving in center of the road. When asked what stopped him from sounding a horn in time - to warn me -even if I was so called in 'center of the road, he had no answer.
                          May MD BMTC be requested to train their drivers to show more respect to human life and inform the complainant?
                          They are trying to improve their services, recently.

                          Today morning ( sept 22nd 2011) in the airport road junction turning at 10.15am I was waiting for a car in front my car to move, at that time suddenly a BMTC bus 335E ( KA01 F 8564) banged behind my car and this casused a huge scratch in my bumper and the lights in back were broken... How can claim the compensation from BMTC

                          Even i agree to the above complaint. There are only few buses for JALAHALLI to BANSHANKARI route that too in the morning peak hours btwn 9 to 10am. Due to this all the buses will be fully loaded or over crowded, Ladies also stand on foot boards. Please arrange for extra 410 buses in the morning peak hours.

                          I request you to arrange for more buses and better transportation. As ladies atleast can stand comfortably in the bus.

                          BMTC Volvo conductors are not aware of the ticket rates. From[protected] onwards, the volvo rates are revised for those having the premium Bus pass. It has been revised from Rs 25/- to Rs 20/-. But conductors are not aware of this. Some conductors are collecting 30/-, some are taking 25/- (telling that it is not implemented) and some are even charging 50/-. I have a cut out of the revised rates which has come in newspaper. Even though i show them this, they are telling its not right and all. Some are just ignoring and asking me to get down from the bus.

                          The bus route from Yelahanka to Shivajinagar No: 291D busses are not coming on time, for more than 30minutes people should wait for the busses, from so many years we are facing this problem, So we can't reach on time to the office/schools/college ...and people standing in the bus stop are trying for some other transport facility, everyday we are facing these kind of problems . so we kindly request you to take an immediate & strong action towards BMTC bus drivers as well conductors to maintain the time sense .

                            I hold a Premium Pass of Rs.1225/- provided at ITPL. I can use this pass at all BMTC Bus Services including ITPL services except Vajra. Kindly request you to know what is this Premium Pass is. There is no details of Premium Pass at the bmtcinfo.com site page http://www.bmtcinfo.com/english/passes.htm

                            Q1. Is Premium Pass is same as GOLD Pass with concession Rate?
                            Q2. Is Premium Pass can be used at all the BMTC busses?

                            I have expressed my concern regarding volvo 500DA which plys between Yelahanka to Electronic City which leaves Yelahanka at 6.45am and when he reaches Kodigehalli Gate at 7.00 am, he will always be on right track whereas we will be obviously waiting on left track. Sometimes he stops after we wave our hands otherwise he zooms away. This was expressed on 13th Feb 2010 for which I got a automated reply stating that they would get back to us. But nothing has happened as on date also. This is lack lusture response from your end which is very much regretted. Hope better sense prevails atleast now.

                              There is a lack of buses, suvarna / volvo from
                              - Rajarajeshwari Nagar towards BTM Layout, Agara, Outer Ring Road
                              - Rajarajeshwari Nagar towards Jayanagar Ediyur, Gandhi Bazaar, Netkallappa Circle, Ramkrishna Ashrama
                              Its a good thing to diversify buses to different routes rather than direct all buses to Market and Majestic. Now the buses are all directed towards Banashankari and Kengeri and Uttarhalli. Poornapradnya Layout and Rajarajeshwari Nagar are neglected. There is a huge BEML 5th Stage Bus stand that can be made use for Suvarna, Volvo's to different locations - like Jayanagar, Banashankari, BTM Layout, Silk Board, etc. Please consider this suggestion.

                                I am a resident of Shirdi Sai Nagar Near K.Narayana pura village and a frequent traveller in BMTC buses from K.Narayana pura to Bangalore City.

                                Sir,
                                I am happy to say that, there is lot of changes and improvement in BMTC buses. ex:its cleanliness & neatness, well maintained buses and bus stand. Also many types options of buses like Ordinary, Suvarna, Volvo to reach diffrent types of passengers requirements. When we compare with other states we stand very clearly undisputed No.1, So wherever I go I'll speak about BMTC buses role in Bangalore City. Out of 1000's of buses and many 1000's of staff there are few bad employees are there in the corporation. Now I would like bring to your notice one of the employee. please do the needfull.

                                Sir there a bus between K.Narayana Pura village And Kempegowda bus station with Root no 292C from 10th Depot on Hennur RD. A driver Mr.Kitty is the regular driver for this bus. His behaviour is very bad that too with ladies. no respect for passengers, he uses singular languages for ladies and students. So everyone scared to speak to him because he is very rough and behave like a rowdy. There is no proper timings for this driver. He will play as he likes. Most of the time he will not come to Majestic. He will come till Shivaji Nagar and go back to Narayana Pura. He will stop at K.Narayana pura bus stop for very very long time in each and every trip. after spending lot of time at K.Narayana Pura he will go to Shivaji Nagar and come back, mainly in 2nd half of the day. If somebody ask him he will say go and complain wherever you want I don't care. he speaks very arrogantly. Also I came to know that, one of his brother is in very senior post in BMTC Office or 10th Depot. So that he will not care anybody. Many of regular travellers complained to depot manager, but no use. Also he motivating other bus drivers not to go to majestic & K.R Market. Now a days other buses started doing the same, So we are finding very difficult to reach home from majestic and market mainly in the evening time. From market there is no buses bet 7pm & 9.30pm there are 2 buses 292 & 293c from 10th depot but they won't come to market

                                So I request change this 292c bus to some other depot or change this driver and his partner conductor from this route.

                                Hope you'll take care about this matter and do the needfull to save BMTC pride.

                                BMTC — CLEANLINESS

                                Hi,
                                Off late we stopped travelling by BMTC for the following reasons.
                                1. Busses were not at all clean. Better not to comment on KR market busses.
                                2. Seats were replaced with fabric with earlier Rexin. Dont feel like touching. God knows who got this Idea.
                                3. People chew Gutka and spit through the window. If window is not closed, only god should rescue.
                                4. New busses has more glass walls(for ads purpose). No Air circulation and No shade. Travelling in such busses will be a nightmare during summer.
                                5. Travelling in VOLVO and Suvarna is very expensive and as good as travelling by Car/Auto.
                                6. Better not to talk about Bus stands & Bus shelters
                                Absolutely correct. but i dnt have any other option i have to travel in these worst buses only.
                                BMTC should take responsibilities.

                                They are not at all doing responsible job

                                They are ready to hike the ticket cost.

                                  I am an daily commuter of 258C VOLVO bus which ply between Nelamanagala and K.B.S.

                                  Last friday dt.09.05.09.as usual i took the bus at nelamangala terminals and i asked for the daily pass ( Rs.75/-).for which conductor who belongs to katriguppe depot with his no.D/C6176 and the bus no. KA 01 FA 2020 told me that he has not been provided the passes from his depot, when contacted the depot manager Mr. Ramesh[protected] he decently given me the phone no. of one mr.Sampangi Ramegowda(Manager operations) Mobile no.[protected]..He simply disrespected my words and told that there is no hard rule to issue the passes in BMTC, if at all we have to travel, he told to pay the money and purchase the ticket and travel.

                                  we know to travel but what is the purpose of introducing the day pass of Rs.75/- and why the BMTC officials are acting as Bosses, let them know that they are only public servants and there main aim is to satisfy the Commuters, and serve the public in good manner.

                                  This matter has been hand written and faxed to Mr.Jameer Ahmed Pasha, Managing Director which was acknowledged by his Colleige Mr. Ajay. for further action.

                                  Surprisingly even today when i took the Volvo Bus no.KA 01-FA2031 at about 7.30 Am from Nelamangala the same thing has got repeated, who has to save us god only knows

                                    Today I boarded BMTC volvo bus non-AC bearing number KA 01 FA 1728 - 356C at Hosa road junction around 8:00 AM to go upto Ecity Infosys Gate 1. Usually the price would be Rs 8 . Today conductor charged me Rs 12 saying that in that bus the fare is 1.5 times. Also he did not stop at Infosys Gate 1 where there is a proper bus stop.

                                    For what reasons the charge is RS 12 where in AC volvo bus would charge only Rs 10

                                    hello sir/madam,

                                    see there is no buses after 5'clock at kormangala.
                                    i don't know what will happen. we the passenger will wait for hours together for a bus especially the 201 buses are not at all available after 5pm. Even the bus comes it will be with full and there no stop given. so, kindly look at the issue and solve the problem as earlier as possible.

                                    bmtc buses — Conductors are harrasing girls

                                    I am registering a complaint against the VOLVO BMTC Male Bus conductors in Bangalore.
                                    These conductors sometimes drink and come on duty. They normally prefer to stand in the first half of the bus which is fully loaded with girls.These people try to touch girls by the maximum way they can, and whenever someone speaks against them they start yelling at that girl.Its disgusting, all girls from good families are travelling through these buses. When will all this stop.

                                      Dear Sir/ Madam,
                                      On 5/5/2009 BMTC Bangalore started renewal of passes which are valid for ten months & twelve months. It was done at only one location - Majestic. The Q's were too long as hundreds of people had come to renew their passes with very few counters & there were no seperate Q's for women at one of the counters, this led to miscreants troubling women standing in the Q.

                                      I request on behalf of all the people who use BMTC transport to kindly make these renewals available at atleast four or five major bus depots to avoid such chaos.

                                      Here is very strongly i am complaing against BMTC bus drivers who does not give stop (vijaya bank colony stop) after Ramurthinagar signal. this stop is newly introduced by BMTC. there is a clear cut board has been put for drivers to stop the bus.
                                      We have already given many complaints to BMTC, but there are no changes am seeing from these drivers. This is very shamefull for BMTC who is not taking any proper action against these drivers.
