Hi Team,



Please help me



My details have been added to credit bureau though there is no mistake of mine. My other credit cards have been blocked and being blacklisted. Recently I had applied for a new credit card with Citi bank, but was denied saying my details are there with credit bureau of India. All my Bank Transactions are good and there is no complaint with other banks, but now coz of goo[censored]p from Barclay’s Bank my relation with other Banks has gone for toss.



I never got a call nor reply on my concerns, but my details was added to credit bureau of India. So easily there have put my future on stake, they are not concerned about a customer who has a credit card with the bank and has concerns which should be addressed.



Require you intervention as I am not getting any kind of response on my concern. Please do go through my concerns and let me know how I can get the issue resolved or file an RIA. I am being mentally tortured by Barclays Bank. Please do let me know whether correspondence or call recording are required, if so will get it attached. I am being calling them for almost a year, but never got any response from them. But now if you check the trail mail they are not contacting me but sending me reminders and automated call recording reminding me to make payment or my details will added in the credit bureau. Also please let me know legally what I can do to get justice!



From the time I have sent this mail to them I have received more than 30 recorded voice messaged which reminds me to pay my dues more than 20 SMS reminding me on dues or my details will be added with credit bureau of India.



I am going through lot of stress and mental pressure, the past one year has been very tough and agony was very bad. I have called the helpline of Barclays Bank many times from the time the problem started, every time I was informed mistake is with the bank and would be resolved ASAP or on priority. But till date nothing has happened and now my details have been added with credit bureau of India.

I am getting automated call from 23/10/2008 reminding me towards the payment. I have received more than 6 calls in 3 days!!! Also I have received 8 SMS informing me my balance is due and if I don’t make my payment, my details will be referred to credit bureau. You’re are not calling me on my concern but troubling me more and making me get more stressed! This is my last mail and if I don’t get any revert will take the matter legally. Being a multi national bank this service we customers get?

To the Manager of Credit,



I have a couple of issues and concerns, which has not been resolved because of which I am going through trauma and mental stress. I fail to understand why are you pressuring me so much and getting me stressed, I am having sleepless nights! My parents are worried; my Dad has low BP and is a heart patient. If tomorrow anything goes wrong because of your pressure on our family, will take you through the highest level legally no matter financially what I have to do!!!



I would like to bring to your notice that unfortunety I became part of Barclay's credit card. And the trouble started. I am been calling your so called call centre from September 2007 to get my issue resolved and it has not happened. I have the recording where your executives and certain seniors have spoken to me and have said that the issue will be resolved at it is mistake with the bank. Now tell me something when they (your executives and seniors) say that the mistake is with the bank why the hell are you troubling me. I am getting sms on my mobile from October 2007, calls at my residence and office number. And your local goons who are threating me!!! I am requesting for someone to call on my mobile number from 2007 and till date, let me make it clear till date no one has called me.



Case History: On 27th September 2007, I got a physical statement which said I have a balance of Rs 5121.46. As I had certain financial situations, I could not make the payment on time. Then I got a call from collection department, asking me to clear my dues. They said I have to pay min of Rs 200/- or Rs 400/- or close the account. But no one turned up and I was waiting for the executive. Then after some days got a call from your collection executive that he will come to my place. I enquired with him whether I have to pay by cash or cheque. He said if I pay by cash, transactions will happen fast as cheque would take 3 to 5 working days and there will be late payment charges. He came to my place and I paid him Rs 2000/- in cash and was arranging remaining Rs 3200/- to repay in another 2 to 3 days and I had informed that collection executive to come after 3 days to collect the remaining amount. He agreed on the same, and gave me receipt: 000249 (Horizon Enterprises).



Within days I got a call that my payment has not been received by the bank! I was shocked and amused as I had the receipt of payment. The executive who called me said I am not supposed to pay by cash; I have to give a cheque and asked me to give a cheque towards the payment. I informed him that I have already paid. He said cash payment is not accepted. Ok! Asked him to return the amount and I will give the cheque for Rs 5121.46. He said he will arrange a call back on the same ASAP. But no call was made but I kept getting reminders. Then I started following up and made many calls to the helpline, some asked me to lodge a police complain and get the amount back. If I have the receipt that I have paid then why should I lodge a complaint, isn't it the bank duty to do the follow up when customer has already paid the amount. Your executive comes home and asks for cash and gives receipt towards payment, then why should I enquire whether cheque is required! After repeated calls nothing happened and I did not make the second payment as my first payment made is no where!!! I was irate and spoke to Ms. Suvarna may be manager there as your call centre, after which the executive came at last in the month of September 27th 2007 and returned the amount. And though my balance was Rs 5121.46 I gave a cheque of Rs 5300, I have paid you extra, please refund my amount back. But late payment charges have been charged on my account. It was delay from your end and you are charging me extra for no fault of mine! I know how much follow up I have done and trauma I have been through! Is this the way a customer is treated though he has paid amount on time!



I am being calling your so called helpline from October 2007 till date and every time I am informed mistake is from bank's end and my issue would get resolved ASAP. They say my case would be looked on priority and I will get call on the same. Why are customers given wrong promises? I want to know why my case is pending from more than a year with no proper resolution. I don't know to how may people I have spoken to, check your records or case history.



I have all the call recordings and receipts towards payment with me.



How and why can you charge me? How can you take a customer on ride? Don't you think you are answerable to the court of Law? Why wasn't I contacted for 1 year! All you could do is send Goons to my house!!! Torture me mentally, my family!





I want a call on my number [protected], or I am going to consumer court, don't feel there is no one to ask you!!! It's my patience which is keeping me quite and no more.

Barclay / Credit Card — Constant Mental Harrassment

I have a Credit card with Barclay. I have been paying my payments on time for the pats 7 months. I submit my payments by cheque always. on 30th of September I deposited my cheque. on 3rd oct I get a message saying that they the cheque has bounced as Drawer signature not there. the cheque was dully signed then called and asked them to send a personnel so that i can pay by cash. Their representative came on the 10th oct and collected the cash and gave us the receipt. However the bank is constantly calling and messaging that i have not made payment. They speak in offensive tone and call up even at 11 pm.It is a complete mental harassment. In spite of making payment on time and myself calling and asking them to collect the cash they are harassing us constantly did file complains with the manager on the phone twice. but they are still calling up and messaging.
I have cards from other banks but i have never till date faced such humiliation and harassment. I am a respectable Indian citizen and a Doctor by profession. I want a sever action against them. i Hope some one really help us.

My Barclay Bank Card No is [protected]. I was sanctioned a loan on Credit Card in the Ist Week of Sept, 2008 fot Rs 1, 10, 00/ and told that BD will reach you within week. But I didnt received and complained several times. Each time I was assured that you will receive within two days. i received statement ref.111o[protected] Ist Nov in which Rs.2443.44 was charged as Interest charges. i PAID RS 200/ AS MINIMUM CHARGES but didnt get any BD. On 12th Oct. I received a call that your loan has been cancelled and your deposited amt will be adjusted in your a/c. Now on 15th Nov I recd a message on my mobile that your card is blocked and deposit Rs710/ immediately. I am surprised at the functioning of Bank. Customer care executives have been contacted several times and they assre everytime that your request has been sent and the amt will be adjusted. I fail to understand the functioning of an International Bank. Should I move to the Consumer Court?

Barclays Credit Card - Harassment — Call for Payment for card never applied by me

I have never applied for any credit card with Barclays. From last few days i have been getting calls for some payment. They said i recieved the credit card at some address on Nov26'2007, and the address they are telling me is totally unknown and above all i was not in Delhi at those time. I do not know how come they got my mobile phone number and making me calls for payment, when this number is pretty new.

They are making the calls again and again, when i have not applied and used any card.

"letter dated 19 March 2009 (Ref. No. WBPC7347) mentioning “This particular time frame” has been dispatched by you on 07/04/2009 . (This dispatch date and ref. No. is mentioned on the Express sticker pasted on the envelope covering this letter) It means such a important letter is sent late by Express Courier which on receipt gives no time left for customer to read it properly and understand and reply back. You please note this delay on the part of Barclay who is showing such keenness on the time frame of 21days to refuse my request. After your dispatch date and after my receipt, please see the calendar, 10th April, (good Friday) followed by Saturday". After this I wrote a letter on Monday, 13/04/2009 and dispatched it in the morning on the same date addressed to ‘P.O. Box 11567, Nariman Point, Mumbai-400021’ (This particular address is only available on the envelope where dispatch date and ref. No. is mentioned) In this letter I have fully given my reservations to cancel the said card membership. In this case the date of issue of letter by Barcaly is 07/04/2009 followed by my letter saying my reservations. Further more if you have properly listened the full reording of promotion of your card by your associate which is explained as under:
While promoting the said card, your marketing man told me about some gift vouchers. Then I have received your letter dated 13 March 2009 along with card. In this letter Barclay said “The enclosed welcome booklet carries lavish vouchers from premium outlet.” But no such lavish vouchers are found enclosed with this letter. Accordingly I wrote a letter mentioning the above fact on Monday, 13/04/2009 addressed to ‘ P.O. Box 11567, Nariman Point, Mumbai-400021’

But when I talked to your representative on 27/05/2009 on phone and told about non receipt of the lavish vouchers along with other things. He told me that this particular offer was valid up to February 2009. It means that your ‘Customer Service Man’ is aware of the current status of the offer, but your other key persons forwarding the card in the month of March do not know about this expired offer or knowingly they have not enclosed the lavish voucher. Even then such information was never told or informed to me in the later stage either by your marketing man or Customer Service Man. As such I have not received the lavish vouchers from premium outlet as committed in the letter dated 13/03/2009 for the reasons known to you. I think you are once again purposefully not considering this verbal as well as written consent of Barclay. Kindly link the issue with first recording of offering from your associate, followed by letter saying this but not enclosing the lavish vouchers. The reason for this is given by your representative on 27/05/2009 for non issue of lavish vouchers by Barclay. (Kindly listen this also) Then arrive at decision. As such the customer is not getting the full benefits as committed verbally and by the letter, offered by Barclay.
On this background I wish to inform you that the amount towards BPC membership which has been debited is not per the agreed terms and conditions explained above between you and me. Again on all these lapses on the part of Barcay, I have requested you arrive at amicable solution to effect least payment. As per the talk with your custmer service I paid the least amount in May 2009 to proccess for settlement but till date nothig has further moved to resovle the matter. You try to resolve the issue for minimum settlement amount as I find no point in making further such email and other correspondence.For this there was a call from Barclay to settle the issue but further nothing has happened. So, please chek my previous payments and track records . I am not a defaulter & i have no intension to pay, then your call center executives fake comitments say pay minimum amount then revearse your late payment or other charges . Subject: Cancellation of fee for Barclay Priority Circle membership credit card

Reference: Card No. [protected] and your letter dated 13/03/2009

Dear Madam/Sir,
I am unable to understand that you are only checking your verbal record. But not going in chronological order to fulfill the commitments made by you verbally as well as written consent by Mr. Yogesh Sangle and Noreen Lobo Keswani vide your letter dated 13th March 2009 under reference forwarding the said card. In this letter Barclay said “The enclosed welcome booklet carries lavish vouchers from premium outlet.” But no such lavish vouchers are found enclosed with this letter. This particular aspect of agreed terms and conditions signed by Barclay Authorities has been fully ignored by you and only giving stress on verbal record where also this was told. As agreed, this verbally and written accepted terms and conditions needs to be fulfilled first. (i. e. prior to payment) Means priority wise and sequel Barclay failed to execute their own verbally and written agreed terms and conditions. This first failure of verbally and written agreed terms and conditions by Barclay creating doubts regarding further fulfilment of offers being informed to me. This fact was brought to your notice verbally as well as by email and letter but every time Barclay is denying which makes the customer (card holder) to refrain for making the payment. And till then Barclay is trying to make the customer defaulter. Hence the amount towards BPC membership which has been debited is not per your own agreed terms and conditions told by your associate and by Mr. Yogesh Sangle and Noreen Lobo Keswani vide letter dated 13th March 2009 explained above. And also as per the terms and conditions told vide letter dated19/03/2009 despatched by you on 07/04/2009(purposeful delay, see the express courier sticker which is available with me and its xerox is sent to you by post), I have given my written consent by letter dated 13/04/2009 which is within within 21 days from the date of despatch of letter of Yogesh Sangle and Aditya Gupta mentioning this terms and condition to cancel the said card membership. Every time this agreed fact told by Yogesh Sangle and Aditya Gupta is intentionally ignored by Barclay to look these facts number of times, just to hide error and mistake done by these satff of Barclay. Hence there is no need to keep my account for the said card for the want of payment as there is full default on your part.

    When i was approached for this life time free Barclays credit card I was told that the credit limit wld be Rs.2 Lacs to 3.5 Lacs, I was given a form by your executive to sign up & hand over the documents which were required I had signed the application form and told him to wait for the same that I wish to fill the application form but your executive had already left without informing anbody in office, I do have a xerox copy of the signed blank application form and after verification i was courierd the credit card but the pin no took almost more than 30days to reach and when it reached it was lying at my society security gate.

    Unhappy on the limit infact sorry to say my executive who earn less than 40 % what i earn than were offerd a limit of 1.5 lacs.

    I use HSBC credit card you can check my payments are on time I do every month a shopping of Rs.6000 to Rs.7000/- and my all payments are on time.

    And the problem i face that there was no pick up facility for cheque or cash for credit card payments from the residence.

    Know even after making two times payment one of Rs.190 earlier & second of Rs.550/- know please waive off my rest amount.

    I was told that i shall follow a procedure email it to [protected]@barclayscard.in the rest would be settled.

    PLease do the need full of the same becz even after making payment there is still a follow up every day that i should provide what is receipt no / cheq no / date of chq issue / bank name, even while tpying this letter still calls are oming for the same.

But suddenly they have hired a Goonda named as Mr. Walia from Delhi and asking for full amount immediately . How can I make the payment immediately? and threatening and torturing me over mobile Phone and land line phone. Not only that He has told me that I will kill your family. What is this ???. Bank cannot do this legally this type of harassment. My purchase amount most probably for Rs.8000/- to 9000/- approximately. He is disturbing my Employer also., that will effect in my service. I am a very middleclass family. I am agree to pay the minimum amount due in monthly basis. I am asking for statement But he is denied to give me the statement .Continuously he is telling me to make the payment otherwise they will attack me with their team. Please help me from Goonda of barclay bank. Only because of raising late payment fees and service charges and to raise the higher bill, the they have made this type of incident.       Hi,

      This is to bring to your notice that Barclays which is one of the reputed bankin UK is showing such a bad reputation in India and the way they cheat innocent customers


      2-3 weeks back I got a call from Barclay Priority Circle representative first two or three time i refuse for any services because i thought they will ask for some charges but that representative told it will be completly free of cost and i can avail the facility of IRC hotels absolutely free with out any charges.I confirmed from the rep "are you sure there no charges "...he said NONE...so i asked i would like to avail this facility.


      Now when i have received the statement it shows me a charge of Rs.6000.

      I have not accepted any of schemes and I have not received any relevant documents regarding any scheme. More over I am not at all interested any of these schemes.
      I find this situation very cheap.
      I am spending considerable time in writing this note. I want some one to look in to this matter immediately and cancel the priority circle membership.

        Sir,

        I am frustrated with the kind of services provided by BARCLAYS BANK (so called MNC) for the reason given below:

        It started with the bad services in the beginning of the LOAN, which I applied a year back. They had issued a DD to some other person named YOGESH Sharma with no clarity at their office.

        When contacted they only said that the DD has been dispatched and your ECS will be activated and your EMI is X amount will be deducted without even dare to attend whether the DD has reached the right person or not. Somehow after regular follow-ups and continuously explaining every time with new executive and with great exercise I got my DD.

        Now that I wanted to close the account in BARCLAYS, as I had applied for Home loan in other bank for which the Bank asked for the clearance of the amount and get the NOC from the Barclays bank for which I applied 2 months (SEPT 2008) back itself for the preclosure of the amount and cleared all my dues with issuing the DD to the bank.

        Also I had asked to deactivation ECS facility as I had cleared the amount. But Unfortunately after clearing the amount and getting a acknowledge from the bank with the seal the Customer care have no idea or any updation in the system .I have called up more than 100 times to the Customer care and sent few mails to there official Cstomercare Email id and the response is plain and standard "we will get back to you within 7 working days" by customer care and by MAIL they respond "We refer to your email dated, regarding delay in loan cancellation and EMI (Equated monthly installment) debited.
        At the outset we apologies for the inconvenience caused.
        We would like to inform you that your concerns are still under process and would require some more time to respond. We will revert to you shortly and request you to kindly bear with us until then.
        In case you need further clarification or assistance, please contact us as per details given below.

        After great difficulty and again vigorous follow-ups they confirmed that they had received the DD and the process will take about 7 days of time and the excess amount which was deducted from my account will be refunded and the NOC for the same will be sent to my mailing address. But I don’t know whether its my bad luck or I did a blunder by getting associated with these kind of BANK as I am still waiting for my NOC and ECS is getting deducted from by account ever month though I have cleared the amount. Untill now I still don’t know whether I would get any solution from these BARCLAYS bank so called MNC.

        I request rather I beg that somebody would look into issue as I don’t have any other source to fight with these worst, unskilled manpower, not customer oriented and false commitment bank.

        Leaving all my other routine jobs I cannot waste my time or I cannot do their jobs, which is really astonished to see that this bank is such a careless, and there is no seriousness towards the customer.

        I am just going through mental pressure because of BARCLAYS bank .I request again to take these very seriously or reply or call and help me out in solving the case.

            I am using this Barclay Credit card for the past few months. I had used their credit facility and till date (04/11/2008) i have received a single copy of my credit card statement. Each time i calle their call centre they would rub their nose on the earth and apologise. I havent seen shameless people like barclay customer care executives who doesnt care to keep their promises and apologize without shame. They keep telling me that they have delivered the card statement to my office address by Vector courriers but i havent received the same till date. I dont understand then to which address they delivered it. Courriers are delivered only to the person to whom it is addressed. As some one has mentioned in here, it is very much true that the people who called to market the card does not even speak fluent english. I am fed up making numerous calls to get my credit card statement. If they are delivering my statements to wrong hands, it could land me in trouble in the future. If the bank can charge you for late payment, why cant the customer not have the liberty "not to pay on time" due to the bank's fault???? The customer care executives sitting at the call centres are good for nothing people who have no shame in telling lies and apologising without dignity. The service sucks big time. If you want to get a small piece of information from them, you have to give them all kind of details like the time of your birth, your mother's name, your address, what food you ate last, did u take a bath today...blah blah blah...Calling the customer care is a nightmare, its cumbersome it is a torture. If you ask the bank to give any detail regarding your complaint their answer would be "sorry sir i cant disclose that. our bank policy does not let me disclose it" That is the kind of service they do. I wanted to get contact details of the person who is directly responsible for credit cards department and the executive was not willing. Then i had to tell him that what is the next step in my mind. I told him that i am going to take legal action if you dont give it and he gave me the address details of Mr. Kushal Roy who heads credit card department at their Mumbai Office in Worli. Now i have to get this guy's Phone number or direct email address. If that also does not work i am planning to move legally. Wish me all the best people.

            Barclays Group on two occasions never sent me a bill and then charged me a late fee and interest. Just cancelled the LL Bean card and all others with Barclays. They claim they sent a bill.
            Beware of dealing with these people. They are making a lot of money off late fees!
            I called LL Bean and advised them that I would not be ordering from them again if they continue to use Barclay for their credit cards. Not that they care...

              Subject: Regarding the cheating by Barclay card service call center about Barclay card Priority Circle

              Dear Sir,

              I, (Mr. Chetan P.Pise.) hereby informed that my Barclaycard no is [protected]. I had received call from 0124 code for the information about Barclaycard Priority Circle. Many times such calls are coming but due to Rs.5000/- charges, I was always rejecting this membership. But on that day, the calling person was given me all the information about Barclaycard Priority Circle at that time he told me this membership is absolutely free for you and for this membership you need not to pay Rs.5000/-. This is absolutely free for selected customer like you. Due to this reason, I agreed for the membership of Barclaycard Priority Circle.
              But, when I got the Barclaycard statement bill of October 11, 2008. I was shocked because in that statement Barclaycard Priority Circle LE fee Rs. 5000/- and service tax Rs. 618/- was debited in my account. And I found that, I was cheated by the calling person of the Barclay card. After that I was called to Barclaycard Priority Circle helpline number[protected] and I gave my complaint, then he told that, you have to wait for 72 hrs. Then after 4 days again I have contacted to the same number, service person said me we are recording your call at that time when you were talking with sales executive from this call, we are not canceling you Barclaycard Priority Circle membership charge. At that time I said I want to listen that record but he said me this facility is not available here, he was not satisfying me. I was also called to our Barclaycard customer service center, I was explained these entire thing then he was given me my complaint no CAS 282434 dated – 01/11/08.
              Sir, I am requesting you to please find that calling person, who was given me wrong information, cheated me which is not good for Barclay card service. I am a regular customer of your card but now I and my friends are very unhappy by your service and so we have decided that we will not use the Barclay card hereafter.
              I am requesting you to please cancel my Barclaycard Priority Circle membership. I am not interested in it at the cost of Rs. 5000/-. I will not pay any charges.

              Barclay card — Cheating by charging for nothing

              I had requested for a balance transfer of 37K in March 21st. They said it would take 15 working days to approve it. My other credit cards due date was 12th of April. Obviously, I wanted to get the balance transfer cheque by at least 9 th of April. However, Barclay bank did not send me the cheque on time. So I inquired with them and they told me that it was approved on April 4th but it took 4 or 5 more working days to send me the cheque. (They actually wanted add the balance transfer amount to my April months statement thats why they did that). The address to which they send me the cheque was really funny! Sudheer Kumar, Brigade rd, Bangalore. I did not know that I was that famous. I had clearly given my office address.
              It is obvious that the courier guys returned it back saying address incomplete. Already my due date for the other bank was over and I paid the minimum amount due to them not for charging me late payment fees.

              Then I requested them to send the cheque again to me before the next months statement date so that I can still do the balance transfer even though I have to pay some amount as interest. For that the tele-banking guy/girl told me it will take 7 to 8 more working days. I waited again. Later just before 1 week to my next months due date I requested them to cancel the balance transfer since I did not get it on time.
              Meanwhile, I got their statement on the correct office address in which I had to pay 1900 rs as my min amount for the balance transfer amount of 37K. Even though I did not get the money from Barclay, I put a cheque for the amount on 24th of April expecting the amount in next week. My due date was 2nd of May.

              My marriage was on May 3rd and since I will be outstation from 29 of April till 8th of May I put the cheque dated 1st of May on 24th of April. Then starts the second round of cheating. They did not go for the collection on 1st of May instead they went for collection on 7th of May just to charge me late payment fee. Remember, I don't owe a single Rupee to them!

              I had requested for the cancellation of balance transfer on April 28th. The tele-officer told me it will take 7 working days to cancel it. I thought in next month's statement they would revert it back! On 21st I got a text message(SMS) statement of May has been processed and dispatched to my address in which I have to pay them 1800 Rs as minimum. I called them up again and asked status of the cancellation (21st of May). That person told me it is still under processing (after 18 working days since my cancellation request!) and it would take 4 to 5 more days.

              Now I got the statement online and it said I have to pay 300 + amount as late payment charge for their mistake. I called them up again today (May 27th). The lady told me it would take 4 to 5 more working days. And, she cannot revert the late payment charges. I told her that I had put the chaque on the skypack on 24 th of April, but what she is telling me that they got it on 5th of May! I was out of station at that time how can I put the cheque on that day?!

              Now, the conclusion is, I have to pay them the entire balance transfer amount even though it has been canceled, plus the late payment fee.

              So my friends, please do not go for Barclay bank cards! They are the worst bank I ever experienced. No responsibility, no business ethics, cheaters, lairs, behave like govt employees, delay in everything. If you have a Barclay card please cancel it immediately, you may be their next pray.

              I have been trapped by Barclay credit card.They have charged Rs 5000+ tax +interest on that amount.Barclays card Priority Circle people Kept calling me one day and they just said i have been made a member of their priority circle group.Since then i have been trying to reach their customer care and asking them to cancel but with no result since 27th june and it already 27th Aug.Please take action agianst this.my card 4***********2924

              Barclaycard Priority Circle — I wish to cancell my membership to the priority circle

              I got a unsolicited phone call from barklays credit cards to have been selected a priority circle member . I was told that Ihave to pay only Rs. 250 to become a member and that the bank was giving a trolley bag absolutely free to me . iquestioned the caller as to why the bank would like to give me this free gift. I was told that bank does marketing exercises to enhance its business. however now I have received a bill of Rs. 5800 /- without having purchased anything or having availed any facility.
              I would therefore request the bank to cancell my membership to the priority circle and also to cancel the credit card if required. thankig you

              Barclaycard — Barclaycard Priorty Circle Fee

              Respected Sir, I have received a bill statement of credit card of Baralay that, I have to pay Priority Circle charges . I have not anvil any facility to this circle . Even I have not given any commitment to pay this amount of the service. Barclay Bank has been charged an unauthorized amount and force me to pay. Number of times I calling Priority circle even they not pickup the phone .

              I am a Barclaycard holder ( CARD NO: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-1577). I was offered an invitation to priority circle membership which according to my understanding was offered free of cost. But on the Oct statement my account reflected a charge of Rs. 6000/- along with a service tax of Rs. 741.60/-. So a total of Rs. 6741.60/- was charged in me for Priority circle membership. I have contacted Barclaycard Priority Circle on 24/10/08 on the number 40162380 and I have received a satisfactory response from the executive. I called them again on 27/10/2008 and told them I had no interest in this membership and I was misguided byt the executive and he has added this amount to my accoount. When he called me he offered me this free of cost membership

              I inform you again that I am not interested this offer. If you force me I will go for Consume Court and also launch complain to Local Police Station and unnecessarily the bank's reputation will suffer.

              In this regard I equest you to kindly help me and take necessary action against BARCLAYCARD priority circle

              Barclaycard — Cheating by Barclay Customer Service

              i'm a using barclaycard for the last 6-7 months. There was a transaction of Rs-15400 and last due date was on 01/09/2008. I had full amt with my hand and ready to pay on 31/08/08 but when i call and check with customer service they said they don't have any collection agency and can't pay immediately by cash. The only options are either i need to pay through online or through check that will take another 4-5 days to process and i don't have online payment access. i was suprised that they don't have collection agency to collect the cash. next day i recd a call from the bank telling the same and i requested to send and collect the money, but again they refused. then i thought anyway since there is no option, i'll pay the due with late charges some days later. But i received a call again on 02/09/08 from the bank, now they said they have collection agency and if i pay the full amount then there will no late charges. i was quite happy asked to come and collect. They came on 03/09/08 and collect all the money. But after 3 days i received a sms stating i have later charges of 1140.00. i tried several times but most of the times thier systems are down and sd not able to pull the records. i spoke with thier supervisor but he sd since i paid the amt after due date i should pay the late charge. When i asked why they are cheating he sd their employer must not tell that. I asked whether they recorded the conversation on 02/09/08 between their customer service and me. He sd they have recorded but can't open his mouth when i asked to listen the conversation. i still i'm getting several calls and sms. Please teach them a lesson. i don't mind paying the late charges but they should learn how to behave.

              i, monika r bhatia here by inform you that my barclay credit card number is [protected] i had received call from[protected] regarding the offer of barclay priority circle membership.as per our talk on phone, there was no mention of its charges of rs 6000/-.let me tell you i just told the calling person to first send me the doccuments of this offer and its benefit.
              and on 22nd oct. i got a sms reflecting that "your welcome letter of barlay priority circle membership has been despatched.and still charges were not mentioned to avail that membership. so far i had not received any such letter.
              but when i got my nov 2008 bill, i was shocked cos in that barclay priority circle membership fees was debited along with service tax of rs741.60 ie 6000/ + 741.60. and i found my self cheated by the calling person.
              after that i called on on[protected] and i gave my complaint, from there i was told that my all previous calls has been recorded and they will check it then can help me .for that he said to call me after 72 hrs.and after 72 hrs when i called i was told that their system has occured a problem and i have to wait for further 72 hrs.so i waited for another 72hrs and called back .this time they said they have checked my conversation and they will not cancell the barclay priority circle membership. at the same time i said that let me hear my recorded conversation but they said they dont have the facility to let me hear the recording. and when i said them to give me my complain number then also they refused to do so.

              when I was asked for details and documents for the same but not provided by them.

              and she is not asked for this circle as "no refundable" no "cancellation" etc.

              Barclaycard Priority Circle — Forced membership of Priority circle

              I am a Barclaycard holder ( CARD NO: 4339 xxxx xxxx 5608). I was offered an invitation to priority circle membership which according to my understanding was offered free of cost. But on 18/10/2008 my account reflected a charge of Rs. 6000/- along with a service tax of Rs. 741.60/-. So a total of Rs. 6741.60/- was charged in me for Priority circle membership. I was totally taken aback and promptly called back your customer care. They took down my complaint and upon enquiry from me after 72 hours they said that the charges cannot be reversed as apparently i consented to the proposal after knowing about the charges.

              I totally disagree to such an acquisition and after i went through your terms and conditions for priority circle, according to Clause 2, subclause b., and c.,

              b. The participation of Cardholder(s) in the Program is voluntary and if a Cardholder(s) chooses not to participate in the Program, then he/she shall inform/intimate the Bank in this regard within 21 days from the date of the amount has been debited to his card account, in the manner as indicated by the Bank at its sole discretion from time to time. In the event, a Cardholder(s) decides not to become member of the Program and has communicated the same to Bank within the 21 days mentioned above, then the Bank shall reverse such charges received from the Cardholder(s) provided that the Cardholder has not availed any benefit of the programme.

              c. Subject to terms of 2 b above, If a Barclaycardholder decides to withdraw from the Program, then he/she shall intimate the Bank of the same. Upon withdrawal from the Program, all Charges pertaining to the Program, borne by Barclaycardholder, shall be reversed.

              I again called up your customer care at priority circle, and expressed my decision to withdraw from the programme clearly in straight words, siting the terms and conditions as above.

              But till date whenever i called cust. Care to verify the reversal, they are telling that the membership cannot be cancelled and fees cannot be reversed.

              In this regard I am requesting Consumer complaints officials should take actions against BARCLAYCARD priority circle on this issue.

              They should cancel the membership and revert charges to my account.

              A PROMPT ACTION IN THIS MATTER WILL BE HIGHLY APPRICIATED

              Barclaycard — Priority Circle program

              I have received call from the number[protected] on 22/09/2008 regarding their "Priority Circle Program".

              Firstly I refused to speak to them, then the guy convinced me and said about that program details.
              Also he said that Barclay will send the kit for my perusal as free of cost and after my confirmation by seeing the kit you will get charged of Rs.6000.

              So I agreed to send the kit.

              But unfortunately 25/09/2008 payment of Rs.6000 was detected and is reflected in my statement for that month.

              So, on 09/09/2008 - I have called Chennai customer care and ask about prepayment charged they asked me to call the number [protected] regarding this.
              Same day I have called to that number ask them to cancel this program.

              The customer care person said "it is not possible to get back the amount charged for you, because there is no rights to cancel the amount by anyone from Barclay".

              After I mentioned about their terms and conditions of the priority circle program he accept to register my complaint and he gave me a reference number[protected] and ask me to call again to check my status after 72hours.

              "Terms and conditions for priority circle, according to Clause 2, subclause b., and c.,
              b. The participation of Cardholder(s) in the Program is voluntary and if a Cardholder(s)
              chooses not to participate in the Program, then he/she shall inform/intimate the Bank in this

              Again I have called to Barclay's customer care in the same number [protected] on 16/10/2008 to know my status of the complaint.

              The person Nivedita spoke to me, she have checked my complaint status and revert to me that there is no possibility to cancel the amount, because I have accepted them to send the "priority circle program kit".

              I said, "from my understanding the guy who convinced me for sending the kit is free of cost and after my confirmation to join the program only they will charge."

              For this she replied "because of miss communication it happens and there is no way to cancel the amount charged for you, so you have to pay that amount" .

              I said about the terms and conditions of Priority circle program and there is possibility to cancel from the program within 21days after accepting it and my complaint date which is also with the time limit they mentioned.

              So, this time she agreed to cancel the amount and cancellation amount will reflect in my next statement.

              But the amount was not withdrawn and same was not reflected in next statement.So again I make call to customer care and launch complaint regarding this on 10/11/2008.

              Next few days I received a call from Delhi as below.

              14/11/2008- laxmi- Regarding the cancellation of the priority circle.

              She called twice in same day,
              First she ask me whether iam ready to pay the payment of the priority circle.
              I said "no also regarding this I already made complaint".She replied that she aware of the complaints and there is no chance to cancel the program.
              I mention about terms and condition then she ask for some time to check with my previous complaints.
              2nd - call now she ask the reason for cancellation I said I am not interested to join in that program.
              She now accepted to forward to higher official also she confirmed that my charges will be reversed in next statement.

              But till now 09/12/2008 the amount was not withdrawn and this time I received the statement with interest too.

              I can say this is an kind of cheating they doing using the telephones.

              Kindly help me to relieve from this kind of pain also advice me what I can do further.

              I have got call from barkley about free member ship.I had never agree for any paid service from this card.

              Now they have sent statement for Barclaycard priority CIRC LE FEE (Rs 6000+ service fee 741.60)

              There toll free number is not working and i had sent mail then automated reply received they will contact within one week.If they are charging if we cross one day why they are not promptly replying.

              There are thousand of person in India had got this this type of card statement what our government can do for this.

              I am suffering from Barclaycard Priority Circle . I received a call from Barclay it was told to me that I have been selected in the lucky draw for the following things and that are absolutely free means I will be charged nothing:

              1) A travel bag worth rupees 2, 000/-

              2) Travel package

              3) Cash back on shopping

              The main point is that I asked again & again during the conversation regarding the charges/fee if any but it was told to me that there is no charges/fee. You have been selected in lucky draw so we want to give these things to you absolutely free so I trust on the same. In the entire conversation, they never told me about the registration fee of Barclaycard Priority Circle that 6, 000/- which I have come to know later when I received my Barclaycard E-statement. Now according to Barclaycard E-statement total due at my end is: 7253.65 (Including interest + Service Tax).

              So I am really helpless now. Can you help me

              I am a barclays credit card holder no 433*****0562.i have trapped for priority circle fees. actually on 4th week of Oct 2008 in evening time i have receieved many calls from barclays priority circle about taking membership for Rs 6000 lifetime fees
              i had told them if there is any charges then i don't need the service but they told me they are just deducting the ammont from my Credit Card Limit & i not need to pay any thing. After 1 month i had recvd statment of Rs 6000 + 742 of service tax & they are asking for me to pay full ammount & so many SMS on my mobile.
              after that i call to customer care no[protected] and gave them details about calls then they told me to call priority circle customer care on[protected] & then i had loged my complaint on the same day & that person told me for final stsatus u have to wait 72 Hrs. After 3 days i had called up & they forced me to pay full ammount & tells that there is no other way to quit.now i am feeling like in a trap. They cheated very well like a proffessional thief.

              Same thing happened with me also. They activate priority circle though I don't want it and charge Rs. 5000/- + Interest + Late fees for same. I put many mails to consumer service to cancel the same but there is no reply from them. In every 2-3 days they keep on calling for payments when I had not use credit card, entire pending payment is of priority circle scheme. Every time I told them about priority circle but they are not cancelling it. Please let me also know if you find out any way for this.

              Barclaycard Priority Circle — charges levied card returned and blocked by the consumer

              Respected Sir/Madam,

              I am a Barclaycard holder ( CARD NO: [protected]). I was offered an invitation to priority circle membership which according to my understanding was offered free of cost. But my account reflected a charge of Rs. 5500/- along with a service tax of Rs. 741.60/-. So a total of Rs. 6241.60/- was charged in me for Priority circle membership. I was totally taken aback and promptly called back your customer care. They took down my complaint and upon enquiry from me after 72 hours they said that the charges cannot be reversed as apparently i consented to the proposal after knowing about the charges.

              I totally disagree to such an acquisition and after i went through your terms and conditions for priority circle, according to Clause 2, subclause b., and c.,

              b. The participation of Cardholder(s) in the Program is voluntary and if a Cardholder(s) chooses not to participate in the Program, then he/she shall inform/intimate the Bank in this regard within 21 days from the date of the amount has been debited to his card account, in the manner as indicated by the Bank at its sole discretion from time to time. In the event, a Cardholder(s) decides not to become member of the Program and has communicated the same to Bank within the 21 days mentioned above, then the Bank shall reverse such charges received from the Cardholder(s) provided that the Cardholder has not availed any benefit of the programme.

              c. Subject to terms of 2 b above, If a Barclaycardholder decides to withdraw from the Program, then he/she shall intimate the Bank of the same. Upon withdrawal from the Program, all Charges pertaining to the Program, borne by Barclaycardholder, shall be reversed.

              I again called up your customer care at priority circle, and expressed my decision to withdraw from the programme clearly in straight words, siting the terms and conditions as above.

              But till date whenever i called cust. Care to verify the reversal, they are telling that the fees cannot be reversed, i have not used the card once on 27 may 2009 there was message that the statement is deliverd but i have not received i have also called the customer care for the complaints that i have not received the statement they told me that it is being reflectef deliver wht i can do till date nothing is being deleiverd to my addresss they r not listening just blaming me that the fees had to be paid but my due date for payment was 9 may 2009. but i returned my card on 1 may 2009 i had never used the card once the fees is just for the membership i want to ask if the customer is returning the card before the due date and that to without using the membership then to the services are to paid by the customer which i totally disagree this is undue haressment frm the bank side.

              to my disbelief i do not understand being a loyal customer and having creditworthiness in the market i myself lodge the complaint to block the the block the card on 9 may 2009 on the very day of my payment due date upon my request to block the card but still the want the payment every thing they have done but they are asking for the payment frm the customer

              In this regard I am requesting Consumer complaints officials should take actions against BARCLAYCARD priority circle on this issue.

              They should cancel the membership and revert charges to my account.as i do not hold the card any further

              A PROMPT ACTION IN THIS MATTER WILL BE HIGHLY APPRICIATED

              Charging me 26% APR for a late payment over 6 months ago!!! the only late payment and I pay well above the minimum every month. I went to pay the balance of $6000 and called to see if they would tak eoff any interest at all, but nope. they want you in debt...

              Respected Sir, i had requested to barclaycard service to cancellaation for BPC membership fees since last one year but still they do not reverasing this fee amount on my card.
              Any type of membership fee is not compulseray for any custormer to be paid
              Number of times I talk with 500 nos executive &nos of mail written to barclay service & Priority circle even they not got proper response to me for cancellation of BPC FEES from my card .

                Dear Sir/Madam,
                I would like to introduce myself as a Barclay Card Holder bearing no.[protected] since September 2007. I'm sorry to inform this that I've been harassed by your Call Centre by Payment Reminders for more than 10 times a day by the way of SMS or thro' an Automated Voice Message which is really annoying and at times takes toll of my life.
                I'm getting 2 calls almost every hour and I don't know how to differentiate between your Collection Agent's (who does not know how to be polite) call and the automated reminder calls. When I was talking to one of your collection agent yesterday (03.11.2008) I was told rigidly that till I make the minimum amount due payment I'll be harassed with more number of calls. To my surprise I got almost 6 calls starting from 13.15 PM till 22.15 P.M from a number[protected] which pertains to your call centre and I was getting calls even at midnight. I understand that any calls regarding payment should be made during the working hours of the bank and any calls after that even if it is an automated call is a strict violation which you might be knowing better than us.

                So I request you to kindly stop annoying me by the way of the Automated Voice Reminder calls and SMS.

                Please instruct your respective department for the same and revert.

                  Dont worry. They will cancel the amount charged on you. Dont pay a single pany to them. Write to [protected]@barclays.com, showing the proof of what ever you have.

                    I was contacted by Barclays Card representative on 21st July 2008 to become a member of Barclaycard Priority Circle. I agreed to become the member on following promises given by representative.

                    1. Discount up to 30% on Electronic Items / Furniture / food Items etc at selective outlets with you have tie up.
                    2. Dedicated Customer Care No.
                    3. I will get all things in writting.
                    4. Call within 4-5- days for Delivery of Gift of Bag worth Rs.2000/-
                    5. Cash reward of Rs. 500/- on purchase of Rs.30000/- within 90days from the date of becoming the member.
                    6. 3D/2N Holiday Hotel Stay for 2 adults at selective places. (I am not sure about no of days.)
                    During conversation with representation I asked him to provide me the name of outlet of Electronic Items with whom you had tie up. He checked and gave me the name of Kohinoor with whom you had tie up all over India. On 27th of July I had gone to Kohinoor Dombivli Dist. Thane to buy a Washing Machine. But Kohinoor has said that they are not aware of such tie up with your Bank so they are unable to give any discount.
                    Representative had gave me dedicated customer care no of Mumbai i.e.[protected]. I tried the said no from my mobile no [protected] but to my surprise I got the recorded message saying "We are unable to serve you now please call between 9 am and 6pm during Monday to Saturday. I had tried this again during the week in the evening but i got the same recorded message. I tried again on 3rd of August i.e. Sunday at 01.35pm, to my surprise no got connected but with recorded message "All our representatives are busy Please hold the Line". I was on hold for 19.04 minutes but your representative did not turned up so I hang up the call. You can check this from your record also. I want to know that what type of Dedicated Customer Care No. is this.
                    Even after sending the mail on 04/08/08 to cancel the membership they had charged me membership charges in bill for period ended 08/08/08.
                    Even after 7-8 mail reminder and 7-8 times explanation given to representative and last reminder on 25/10/08 to Service Head Ms. Meera Rawat still I am getting atleast 5 phone calls, 5 recorded payment reminder messages as well as 5 SMS.
                    I have also requested for cancellation but they are not cancelling the fees and charging late fees charges from july 08
                    i agree with all of you, reason of barclays bank fraud with every customer by priority circle,
                    i have very big experince from barclays bank, barclays bank executive call me on approximate 18/09/08 for priority circle membership, he told the complete plan and other facility to me, after that i asked the one question to many time to executive" what is the membership fee?" and executive said the no charges for membership of priority circle and it is absoultly free for you. so i expect the membership by phone call. after that i received the my next month statement and i found the Rs.6000/- and Rs. 741.XX services tax of priority circle charges, so immediately call to barclays bank customer care no. [protected] and log the complain for cancle the my membership of priority circle, after that i was paid the my actual access amount to barclays bank after dedicate the priority circle fee and charges.

                    then, i received the next bill and i found the many charges in my bill, again i was gone to customer care and log the complain that time call executive said to me, your membership not cancled, you will pay the amount of priority circle charges. after that i was paid the my actual access amount to barclays bank up to next four months, and regular follow up with barclays bank for canclation for priority membership,

                    after that i stop the all payment to barclays bank, but still the give the many charges on credit card.

                    SO, AFTER THAT I STRONGLY THINK, BARCLAYS BANK FROUD WITH MANY CUSTOMER.

                      Hi,

                      I am Manish a customer of your bank holding credit card [protected]. As per the bill generation for the month of April my due date was on May 2 usually I drop the cheque 5 days prior to it unfortunately the bank has received on May 6. Due to which a late payment and finance charge was charged to me. I clearly intimated that what ever the amount that I need to pay from my end as been done. It’s now around 5 months from that period I am getting calls stating that there is an outstanding of 5600 where I did not use a penny in it. If I was such a customer then I wouldn’t have paid the actual amount too.

                      I request the bank authorities to reverse all the charges charged to me and let me know if there is any payment need to be done from my end for my purchases. It’s becoming a real headache for me. Hope you people would consider and do the needful.

Receipt No.C79560. However, i have received number of SMS informing non recipt of installment.I am working as a Chief Manager ina State co-operative bank in chennai. I am wondering there is no office of Barclay credit card office in chennai for verification in this regard. However, in Chennai Barclay Bank is having a Branch without serving their credit card holders.Please verify and send the revised statement immediately.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,
                          My Self Paul Jose, I have been using Barclays credit card my card no is [protected] my credit was Rs 32, 000/- I had done the shopping of Rs. 28, 000/- till Feb 2008 and had done a payment of Feb 2008 amount of Rs. 2, 500/- after that I got a call from the Barclays Customer Service saying that my Card have been over due from the Limit of Rs. 32, 000/- when I cross check with the Bank they had inform me that they had add a Club Membership fees of 5000/- (membership of Barclay bank n concern is bank is giving me free tour of 3-4 days in any good locations in INDIA n a traveling bag of worth Rs 2500, this package cost is 15000 but they are offering in 5000) with out my information. And I had requested them to remove the membership and send me a fresh bill after doing the payment of Rs. 2, 500/-, which I had done in the Month of Feb 2008. I had also send a mail on this to the bank in India as well as UK, and had received servile call saying that they will be removing the membership and will be send me a fresh statement. But it took almost 6 month to remove the membership which made my card overdue of amount of Rs. 45, 000/-, in the meanwhile I had already inform the bank that I will not do any payment till the bank do not remove the membership fee and send me a statement from the due of 27, 000/-.
                          I have several times asked the Bank to check the details. But they are saying, it has been done in flavor of the bank and I have to pay the excess money. First let me know, why should I pay the excess money (for which transactions I haven't done). Actual credit limit for my card is 32, 500. As I had done a worth of Rs. 28, 000/-.
                          Please help me to do file a cheating case and charging the excess amount. Please guide me to go through it and let me know, as I have not done any payment afterward Feb 2008. And they have filled a case in the credit bureau, how should I file the case in consumer forum or banking ombudsmen? Please do the needful things.

                          Now calling for payment daily 10 phone calls & SMS in early morning every day... I calling daily to same department of Barclay bank, but no response even they talk very rudely. From last 5 days I doing e-mail to [protected]@barclay.com & [protected]@barclay.com but no response, even they suspended my card also... Sir now I don’t want any relationship with Barclays, please solve this issue...

                          Sub: I discusing with my advocate about Sueing Against Fraudulent Marketing Strategy of Barclay Bank.
                          ( pls read the note in end of my post)

                          My card no: [protected] issued on Jan 2008.

                          I was a customer of Barclay Credit card, for the first 6 month every thing looked so neat and proper.
                          in the sence what ever i purchase, the bill comes in time with appropriate info and details.

                          One fine day there was a call from The a call from Barclays card, New Delhi.

                          And I have been given an offer of 10% cash back in what ever money i spend in next 3 months.
                          ie I have to spend Minimum Rs:15, 000 with in 03 months, then i will get 500 Rs cash Back, I also complies of
                          Dinning, Medical and Shopping.

                          So purchashed worth Rs:5000. In that purticular month Barcley Bank Didn`t send me any Statment of By Bill payable.
                          I called up them and asked about the statement they said me to pay any minimal amount of my purchase. I have paid more than

                          the minimal amount so that they will not add any interest as per the conversation. But the startment came with late payment

                          fee and interest added on them.

                          I called them again and spoke to them saying haven't recieved my Statements before due date. so, i can't pay the Late

                          Fee. They agreed to my clarification.After a month i recieved a statement with 5000Rs added for priority circle
                          membership, then interest added for that 5000 Rs, then late payment fees added.

                          I strongly asked them to clarify the stated amount mentioned in the payable column.I didn`t get a genuine reply.
                          I have all the calls recorded conversation.

                          They are calling daily freaquently 4, 5 times to harasing me to pay the bill which they don`t have any clarification.
                          Every time the cc section would promise me to resolve this issue the next 24 hours. Which never happened.

                          Pls Advise me to take further action.

                          Note: Initial Marketing person`s Cheating Motive.
                          The preson who called me as marketing executive, never diclosed the information that I have to pay Rs.5, 000 to get these offer. Non diclosure of such a vital infromation is same as cheating.Kindly look into this matter and reslove these issues at the earliest.

                          I have Barclay Credit Card No : [protected] with me since Februray 2008 but have never used the same till date. I got a call on 26th of Oct 2008 from Barclays Priority Circle stating that Barclay is offering me free trolley bag worth rs. 2000 & other discounts free of cost & there are no hidden charges .
                          But on 13th of Nov I got SMS that I have due amount of Rs. 6741/- when enquired I was told that it was debited to my a/c aginst some memebership fees .
                          I humbly request you to pl look in to the matter & help me for getting harrassed from . I am really surprised how someone can charge me without even purchasing anything or getting any loan .

                          First of all Barclay bank representative committed facilities has not given. I face the problem as I deposit the amount to clear the credit from card and then inform to Customer care saying that I have deposited the amount BUT surprise comes in the next credit card statement as debit interest & credit interest and late payment fees. I am really shocked and tried many times to explain the customer cares executive and also availed mail service but all vain there is no solution.
                          Finally I cleared the principle and kept quiet but Barclay every month send the statement with additional charges and also harassment call from their office.
                          Please help in this front, I would need compensation for all this harassment.

                          And I got confirmed from the customer care this payment has been updated in your A/c or not first they said yes but when I received my monthly statement still statement is showing dues of Rs. 2500/- eventhough my A/c has been dedited of Rs. 2500/- in the month of October

                          I have already deposited my full & final payment of Rs. 3500/- cash against of Rs. 3400/- in the mont of November 2008 in your Nehru place branch.

                          In future I am not going to pay any kind of payment as well as any kind of interest or late fees as well.

                          I have discussed the same matter with your customer care executives every time they cc section promise me to resolve this issue with in the next 24 hours.but still I am facing the same problem.

But Date 10/01/09 I Celled In Your Customer Service They Told Me Your Chaque Bounce Due To Non matching Your Singneture In Bank. I Ask You a Single Question That What Is Customer Mistake In Same I Give You Chaque On Time And That Time Sufficient Balance In My Account Than Why Are I Pay More My Bank Do Not Debit In My Account Bouncing Charge Thay Told Me That In Same Condition the bouncing charges should not be debit By The Any Bank. So Please Revise The Bouncing and Late Payment Charges And Close My Card . I Do Not Want To Use Your Card. I am Tell a Single Thing That I Have a Citi Bank, Abn-Amro Bank, HSBC Bank Card And I Use Same Last 3 or 4 Year But I Could not Expact Like THIS Sevice By Barclay Bank. Please help me from Goonda of barclay bank. Only because of raising late payment fees and service charges and to raise the higher bill, the they have made this type of incident. I am 100% agree to pay the minimum amount due against my total outstanding. Gradually I will pay the amount to Bank., but not at a time. Please avoid Goonda which has veen hired by Barclay bank that is completely illegal.

I am a very middleclass family. I am agree to pay the minimum amount due in monthly basis. I am asking for statement But he is denied to give me the statement .Continuously he is telling me to make the payment at a time, otherwise they will attack me with their team.                             I STARTED USING THE CARD FEW MONTHS BACK & FROM THE VERY FIRST MONTH I WAS NOT FINDING ANY BRANCHES EXCEPT NEHRU PLACE TO PAY IN CASH WHICH I FIND THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THE SERVICES
                            MY LAST PAYMENT WAS OF RS. 10500 ON 28 MAY CHEQUE GOT CLEARED IN 2-3 DAYS
                            THE PAYMENT I DID WAS THE TOTAL OUTSTANDING DUE ON MY CREDIT CARD AS IT WAS IN THE STATEMENT &TOLD BY THE BANK
                            AFTER THAT IN THE NEXT BILLING CYCLE I CAME UP WITH SOME DUE AMOUNT OF RS 2750 WHICH I DONT KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM THEN I STARTED RINGING THE CUSTOMER CARE BUT THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM THEIR SIDE NOW THE AMOUNT REACHE TO RS 5000
                            Even after expalining the bank several times the bank is not ready to agree & now the bank has started annying and frustrating me by calling 2-3 times every day saying that if I do not make an immediate payment, my name will be referred to Credit Bureau. I wanted help of the consumer forum to take this issue with the Bank

                            Considering the above situation, you can observe that I am not in fault, I have made the payment in due time still I am being suffered. Hence I would like to request you to take up this issue with The Bank to cancel the entire late payment fee on my account + also not doing such nasty treatment with any other customers.

                              Iam using barclay credit card since 4 months. But, I have not received a single statement from the bank till now. I complained more than 20 times to the customer service. Off late, Customer care toll free no. is not lifting phone since 20 days and also all the numbers provided at hyderabad are not working. Iam paying all the pending as per my personal accounts info which i store. But, iam not sure wheather iam paying excess or less. Since there is no communication from the bank.


                              This is the worst service from a credit card till date to me.

                              Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem. Where to send the complaints for my problem.

                              I am holding the mentioned Yathra Credit Card no. [protected]. I had given my company mail id for communication. Now I have left the company and even I am not in India. I stay now in Lagos-Nigeria.

                                The cheque (Standard Chartered - Cheque No. 849912)for the month of Sep '08 was deposited on 17th OCt'08. The amount of 20, 400.00 got debited from my Standard Chartered Account on 21st Oct '08 and the same does not reflect in your systems. Despite my repeated calls to your customer care( which I must mention takes about half an hour to speak to a customer care exec), the only reason I have been given is " System Upgradation".
                                This is the first month of my using Barclyas Credit Card and the experience has been pathetic. I cannot use my card despite my timely payment. This is harrasing a customer. If this is the kind of service that Barclays is going to provide then I would rather get this card discountined.

                                Expecting a early reply ( hopefully the reply should not be affected by " System Upgradation".

I tried to contact EXPRESS IT hyderabad phone no.[protected]/05/99, no body responding, when i track on expressit.in, they are providing false information as delivered.

                                  take serious action against this courier office.

                                    I am having a BARCLAY CREDIT CARD NO. [protected].

                                    One of thr representative called me and gave me the proposal for Barclay credit Card Priority Circle membership.
                                    But he din't gave us the information of the charges of Rs 5000 which i came to know through the statement, I received .At the time of thr telephonic offer regarding this membership offer we asked him twice that he should tell us if there is any direct or indirect hidden charges.
                                    For this I called thr priority circle centre at delhi branch, and given many emails to them but they are not responding to me.

                                    Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible as i am receiving abusive & thearetning calls daily for the same at least five to six times a day specially from these numbers[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected].
                                    please do the needful i am realy very mentally disturb for the same or just tell them for stop calling me for the same

                                    But he din't gave us the information of the charges of Rs 5000 +service charges of 618/-which i came to know through the statement, i have not taken this offer & IHAD MADE COMPLAINT OF THIS TO CUSTMER CARE CENTER on tel number 67242222 on[protected] at 3.25 P M attending offcer Ms PARVINA BITRA as she was not intersted to listen to my complaint after reqwesting so many times she replied to me as i am taking your reqest but to no use bank will not listen to it &further nor she have given me the compliant number for this conversation hence you are reqested to cansell my card &if there is any outstanding amount accept this complaint amount which i am ready to pay by any cash ;cheqe draft ;NEFT This complaint i have lodged with dept :cncern' s.

                                    I am using the above card of barclays bank from one year. I have dropped a cheque rs. 500.00 in skypack drop box at Petrol pump kalakaji bharav mandir on[protected] where as my due date is[protected]. i received a sms on[protected] from barclays that they have not received the cheque. I have talked to customer care they told me i drop again a cheueq and they will reverse the late payment if any. I droped the cheque at Barclays Bank Nehru Place. They received both of the cheque on 14th & 15th october(As they said). They are not reversing the late payment where as i have droped the cheque before the due date. I have mailed so many times every time they were writing we will revert back within the 7 days. Today i have received a mail from barclays
                                    they written they are unable to revert the late payment. I have paid all oustanding except the 500 + interest charge where the 500 is the late payment and its interest. They are harrasing me. They are not taking any response. I am totaly tense about this. I have paid regularly the balance amount. Today i have written :-
                                    I refere to your email dated[protected] having reference number [protected]. You have declared that you are unable to accede to reversal of late payment. Hence i am unable to pay the 643.10 (Late payment + Interest). I have paid Rs. 5090.00 and Rs. 303.00 vide my cheque no. 758759, 764491 respectively. I have dropped said cheque on[protected] at your Nehru Place Branch. In your mail you have written that you have only received Rs. 500.00 on October 17, 2008. Further i inform you that you have also received Rs. 500.00 on October 18, 2008. You can check the statement dated October 18, 2008.The statement shows clearly that you have received two cheque of Rs. 500/- each on[protected] and[protected] respectively. How can you say that you have received only one cheque in October Month. This is totaly unfair results. I want to clear that I cant pay the balance said amount. If you will not reverse the said amount then i will break the relation from the bank. I want to keep the relation with the bank for long time and use the credit card but i think this is not possible from your end.                                     Barclaycard company — harrasment for priority circle membership

                                    I am regular holder of barclay card company credit card and paying regularly the amounts of my purchases against the card but I regret to write that since may-june 2008 statement they are asking me to make the payment of priority circle membership for which I have been refusing since the offer of this membership.The initial amout of membership was Rs 5618 including service tax in the May-June 2008 statement.Now in the october-november 2008 statement it became Rs11104 that includes Rs5618 membership fee and Rs5486 latefee, interest and penalty.Although my all the previous purchases against this card has been cleared in time and there is no dues at all.Inspite of that they are harrasing me to call on my phone and by sms.In this regard I have already sent e-mail to [protected]@barclay.com and cc to [protected]@barclays.com on 14th of december 2008.but there is no compliance till now from the company. kindly do the needfull and depriveoff me from this harrsement.
                                    This is sultan shaikh the credit card holder { credit card no [protected]}, has recieved the card statement on 5 jan for the last two months transaction . On which the due date was 25 dec 08 with the intrest charges of 600 rs. And i had called the custumer care so the reply the statement was not recieved by our end on 19 dec 08 and as i got the call on 21 dec for the confirmation of address for the barclays card centre and they told that the statement will be dispached with in 7 days that means after the due date. my query is why the statment not sent before the due date and sending the statement for nov-dec statement on jan with the intrest amt.And intially when i apllied for c card i got the confirmation letter which the address was [ SEWREE] instead of C.B.D BELAPUR, which the SIGMA courier has, so i am getting charge with the interst . So my humble request is to investigate this claim properly with the SIGMA COURIER and for your side thanx...
                                    Dear Sir / Madam,

                                    This is with reference to credit card no: [protected] which self (Ashwin Hirani) hold of Barcaly credit card.

                                    Self called up the customer care in the first week of January & asked for minimum payment. I was informed that the minimum payment on my account is Rs. 3330 & some odd paise. So i made a online payment of Rs. 3340 on 6th January 2008 much before my due date on 08th January 2008.

                                    Today i received a call from the collections department, phone number :+[protected] from ms. poonam, mentioning that i have not paid my minimum amount of Rs. 3370 and Rs. 30 is still pending. I was stunned as i was not given correct information by the customer service department.

                                    First could you pls. let me know why my account was sent to the collections department when i have made each and every payment on time since the card has been opened. I understand that the account is sent to collections department only for regular defaulters and i dont have a single default payment on my account. Then why on earth was the account sent to collections ??? I am a regular payer of your credit card payments and it is a Insult & Disgrace to me that my account is with collections department.

                                    Further, the fault was not at my end. I was informed that the amount is Rs. 3300 & odd paise and i made a payment of Rs. 3340. When i can make payment of 3340, you think i will deliberately default / not make payment for a petty amount of Rs. 30 considering that i have a clean account with no late payments of any manner till now on my credit card. Then why was my account sent to collections department to call up. I expect a formal explanation why the customer service / some other department couldn't call me up and discuss this instead of collections department???

                                    Worst was the treatment given by the collections department to self. When i informed the same to ms. poonam and told her to give me her supervisor, she clearly mentioned that they have Team Leaders(TL) instead of supervisors. So, i told her to transfer this call to the TL. Hesitatingly and Unwillingly she transferred the call to Mr. Rahul Chauhan, Employee Id: 850321 who mentioned that he was a supervisor. I was surprised as i was told there is no supervisor but TL!!!

                                    I was very angry at the way i was being treated by Barclays. It was not expected to treat me in this for a mere Rs. 30 which was because of mis-information by customer service. When i started questioning Mr. Rahul Chauhan in angry tone, instead of trying to find out what the issue was and trying to pacify me, he behaved in the worst cheap, horrible, rough, rude and disgusting manner with self. He said he will not transfer this call to TL and gave his id and full name. He clearly mentioned i can send complain to anyone and was not ready to listen to self and banged the phone on me.

                                    This is the worst treatment i have ever received from any credit card company in the years that i hold credit card.

                                    I wonder if in such rough, rude & obnoxious manner your company treats your customers for a mere Rs. 30 and if not then i expect an apology from Mr. Rahul chauhan for his behaviour & attitude.

                                      Till even I have not received my Barcaly card . How can one charge if I have not signed any welcome letter or even I have not received it.

                                        I Sandeep Malwade holding a Barclay card No. [protected], I want to cancel the card member ship with immediate effect due to a false communication that the membership is free from your marketing people forced me to join Barclay Priority Circle Club and and in return i have been debited the amount which i do not agree to pay, since this doesnt have my approval.

                                        Please refer our trailing mail regarding cancellation of Barclay Priority Circle club and card membership.

                                        I had written this mail on 10th Oct. but till date I have not received any communication from Barclay.

                                        I would also once again like to confirm that there are no charges pending against any transaction done using this card and hence would like to have your confirmation on the same within a day.

                                        If I do not get any confirmation I would treat the membership and the card to be cancelled.

                                        I would not like to have any calls for continuation of the card and the membership.
