I bought expensive Bata shoes from their online site of Bata India. They are naturalizer shoe range called zees from bata. Costed me 5499/- I ordered on 8 th sept and they were delivered on 10th sept. Shoes were in worn out condition and also did not fit me properly as my toe fingers were coming out from side. Box was broken but that was not my concern. I contacted customer care and placed a return request that very day on 10th of sept. Both via email and phone. As per their policy a refund will be issued after return. But nobody came for many days. I have contacted them at least 10-12 times, each time they assure me that it will be picked up but no body comes. So i complained on national consumer helpline. A person came today and refused to pick up because details given to him were different. The readon mentioned to him was damaged product whereas I had a used product. This is crazy. Also the box i got has a label of different shoe( costing 799/-) and different article number. I told him that its not my fault if bata sends a wrong box. I have the invoice, the emails, the order id etc. he said he is third party and cant help! Again i complained to the customer care. But no help. My money is stuck. This is highly harassing!

    I have purchased two Bata products online a month ago and wanted to return it since those doesn't fit as expected. I booked a return pick up by calling Bata and they offered pick up arrangements on 20th Aug 2022. Bata promised return pick up in 2 days. Until now (16 Sep 2022) the product is still with me. I have been calling Bata every other day to follow up this matter they keep telling in 2 days it will be picked up. Either Bata pick up the item back or not I need a refund. Please help me.

      It is my second complaint in BATA INDIA regarding my refund which I have not received yet. It's been and half month and the refund process is still not made from the BATA INDIA side.

      Had a conversation with the head managers, and executives, and not all they have to say is it will take 3 to 4 days which is now more than 60 to 70 days.

      Now, the Consumer Complaint Executive from BATA India called and gave me a coupon code through which I will get my refund but he himself was a fraud person who was telling me a process in which I was paying him RS. 24, 500 and when I was asking him regarding my query he started shouting and when I asked me to talk to me politely he was so shameless that he kept on shouting and said do whatever you want.

      These kinds of shameless people are being hired as executives who do not even know what they are doing in their job. That shameless executive person's google pay trick showed that he is a fraud and I should not send him that amount. Adding the screenshot of it below just to show what BATA INDIA is doing. His GooglePay account name is BASUDEV BARMAN which is a FRAUD.

        Desirable Solution: Initiate a REFUND ASAP

        Description: I purchased BATA sandals, and then within their return period, I returned. Unfortunately, the product was on COD. It's been more than 2 months since I have not received my refund. I have contacted many BATA executives, including Sohail, Yashika, Anshu, Pankaj, Anshul, Rajat, Shubham Singh, Neha (Senior), Kajal, Varsha, and many more.

        But none are of any use; all they said is 'SORRY' and 'IT WILL TAKE 24 TO 48 HOURS FOR YOUR REFUND TO TAKE PLACE, ' but it has been more than 2 months now, which is more than 60 days no refund have been initiated.

        They were providing me with the link of my email ID, which asked me to fill the form, and then I will get the OTP on my mobile no. and Gmail ID, but the OTP was not coming anywhere, and this is happening for last 2 months, and it's happening every other day now.

        All my details have been shared with the BATA people via Mail, like black cheques, account details, and everything. Since then, these people have had 0 courtesy to tell me the real problem why they are not initiating the refund. They blame it on the finance people or me, but that is not a solution.

        If BATA India cannot initiate a refund of something around Rs. 1, 500, I think the brand should get closed or change its executives as they are definitely of no use. They are just good for nothing, and I have never had such a bad experience with any of the brands.

          I had placed an order for Bata shoes online on 22-Aug-2022 with order#BW[protected]. They had shipped the order but on 27-Aug, the tracking showed that the shipper had asked the courier to return the shipment.
          I followed up with Bata and asked if they are shipping the product or not. They requested 2-3 working days to resolve the issue and provided reference number #360363 for further communication.
          After 3 days, when I called them, they ad not done anything about the issue and it was pending. They again asked 3 working days to resolve it. I then requested them to cancel the order.
          From 30-Aug, I have been repeatedly calling them every 3 days but they have not cancelled my order at all. It has been more than 2 weeks now and all they know is keep requesting 2-3 working days to resolve the issue.
          They mention that they arrange for supervisor callback but that never happens.
          I am not sure what kind of support system bata Inida has in place and if they resolve any customer issues at all. Its pathetic and Bata has lost its charm it held once upon a time.
          I hope my issue gets some attention and is resolved.

              I purchase one bata heel on 13 May.. Today on 6th sep I wore it for 3rd time and it's getting torn off. This is not the quality we expect and pay for.
              Please look into this.

                I brought a ladies sandals worth Rs 1999 from lajapt nagar, Delhi, store of Bata. But after a week o[censored]sage these broke and upper sole was detached from the lower one. Since I shifted to another place in Delhi my invoice got misplaced. Please help me. Either replace it or get it repaired.

                  I had purchased a black bata heels from Amazon this year - BATA Women's Deva Black Fashion... https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07LDCW4GM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
                  Since i use bata products from childhood, ie..the shoes especially, never thought twice bata products quality.
                  I don't usually wear heels, so had wore it maybe 4-5 times for short periods, and wore it today for a meeting.
                  I was walking just normal and thn the strap of one heel came out. I had to be there without slippers or anything for the remaining time . Never expected a bata product to break like this.
                  Since i have purchased it online, i don't know whom should I contact or wt should I do .
                  Hope I'll get an exchange or something, since i trust the brand.
                  I know i can't won't anything compensation for roaming in the meeting without chappal or heel ot shoes . But okay
                  Hoping to a proper response and actions regarding this.

                      Most inferior product. Purchased 2 pairs of school shoes for my kids that didn't last for 2 days for both my kids - the sole came off. The shoes were purchased online, based on direction from Bata showroom in Total Mall on Sarjapur road, Bangalore.
                      They are not offering refunds or replacement of this worst quality school shoes. Pathetic customer service and very arrogant staff when we went to seek explanation for the poor quality.

                        I had purchased a shoes online on 7th June. The size was smaller and I had to return it (on 17th June). I haven't received refund even after 3 months. I have contacted customer care both by phone and by mail multiple times. Every time they promise a refund in 24 hours.

                          With reference to the above Order No, i have received the wrong product on 01/08/2022 which is not matching with my order and same has been returned by me on 02/08/2022 (Pick up reference no. DLVPC[protected] ) to Blue dart (AWB[protected].

                          It is nearly one month going to complete; my payment has not been refunded to my account. I have been follow-up with more than 25 days with Customer care. The responds is no proper response from your end. And I really fed-up with your customer care. They still dragging my refund (Ref No:335639). So, I am writing this email to directly to Bata.

                          Finally, i have decided to Sue you by filing complaint against your company .

                          Please take necessary step to get my refund, Otherwise i will go to consumer court.

                              I am shareholder of @Bata India Ltd. Every year @Bata India Ltd. sends two discount coupons entitling me to purchase two pair of footwear at 20% discount. This year i have not received these coupons till date.
                              Please let me know if bata india ltd. has stopped sending such coupons to shareholders from this year. If not then please look into the matter and send me the discount coupons.

                                I have purchased 2 sanadals online from bata on 26 june but I have returned both because one was small in size and another was defected. But till now I have not received my refund, i am calling them from july and August. But every time they reply it will take 2 to 3 days. I am really disappointed with their behaviour. Please take some action. They are very irresponsible.

                                        Ordered 3 pair of shoes/sandals on 12th August 2022.

                                        One of the shoe is not fit into my foot and another one is received in a bad condition. I Requested Bata to exchange/return the products.

                                        I am continuously following up with Bata customer care.
                                        But so far no action from BATA.
