Purchased shoes on 22/06 and received item on 01/07 and initiated return request on the same day due to size issue. Till date Bata did not arrange pickup for my item and holding my money without refund. Its been more than a month now and I've been communicated with customer service so many times and every time I get same response saying that it will be processed in 1-2 days. Attaching the mail update details by Bata. There is no promising date on which I can get the refund. Due to their technical issues, my money hasn't been releasing.

    After returning a pair of shoe due to size issue, on 30th June, it's been more than a month i haven't got any pay u link. I have been calling them for refund every 2 or 3 days. when called all they say is "finance department is unable to create payu link due to technical issues, just wait for more 2 or 3 days, your will get your payu link. It's
    5th Aug 2022, still I haven't received any mail or sms containing payu link. reference number 299813.

      I had placed orders ( AI[protected] and AI[protected] from Gurgaon -BATA City center MG road on 7th of July and payment was made on the spot for both items.
      On 11th of July had received a confirmation SMS on my registered mobile that delivery is delayed.
      Later it was confirmed dvi SMS and EMAIL that orders has been cancelled due to high demand.
      All of this was fine, until I had started process for initiating refund.
      Went to same centre to initiate refund and was guided that it needs to be done online via customer service call centre email or number.
      Right from 18th July I have been dropping emails as suggested and following on calls after specified time of interval to initiate PAYU link for refund.
      Once shared it did not work for UPI/NEFT and after that customer service executive confirmed that I shall receive new link on 22nd, called again to confirm and was asked again to wait for one week.
      Again called on 25th to confirm status and waiting time went beyond TAT time of 7 days.
      From time being customer care and engagement team only says concern has been forwarded to finance department to resolve issue but there is no revert on same .
      Last they asked to wait for was until- 2nd august and called today on 4th of august to resolve issue.
      Today also they are asking again to wait until monday.
      I am totally fed up of this unwanted waiting time and harassment.
      In such a long period of follow up has called for 4/5 times and no resolution has been provided
      Bata India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      Dear team,
      There is no revert from Bata over refund even after complaint. They do not even pay attention to what customer have to say except a system generated response

          I have ordered Bata slippers at store at MGF metropolitan Mall, Gurgaon for home delivery.

          I have received damaged product.

          I have contacted Bata customer care but no productive response received.

          I expect Bata to do replacement or refund.

          @Bata Pls don't say to visit the store, I can't waste time and money in visiting the store, when it is completely your fault.

            Recently I have bought BATA sandal, was received on 25th July 2022 but the product doesn't fit as well not good to me...Then I was trying to returned the product on the same day and till 1st August 2022. but I am not able to proceed the return due to SOME error on site during submitting the return request... i also mailed to bata customer care about this problem... i get back mail to your ticket has closed...

                I had purchase a shoe from online Bata store.the same wa delivered on 9 th July .I had written to bata customer care for refund.the reverse pick up was done.howevet I have no response to my refund request. each time i send a mail with my ticket id i get a new ticket id.and when i call they tell me to wait 3 to 4 days without sending a written confirmation.i have received no commitment till date regarding my refund .i would appreciate your help in this regards

                  - i ordered sandle from bata online store, then sandle didnt fit me.. asked then to return... i had maild them sandle details, images..they said we will arrenge pick up within 4-5 days but its been a 2 months no one came for pick up.. i called them 4 to 5 times but always they said pickup within 4-5 days.. no one came to pickup.. and everytime i called they only told will arrenge pickup within 5-6 days.

                    Purchased school shoes online ; size was as measured in the Bata shop a few days back. However, found the shoes were not fit. Requested for return and the customer care accepted it and confirmed it through an email.

                    Despite several follow ups, no one has picked up the shoes. Each time we call the customer care, they promise to pick up. But no one turns up. WORST EVER Experience from Bata !!!

                    Received 7 july. Return accepted by customer care on 12 july.

                    Followed up with customer care - 5 to 6 times; only response was that it will get picked up within 2 to 3 working days

                        I had never thought that the so called brand bata will send me used product today i bought a pair of sandals for my father I was excited but I got a product looks like It had been wored for a year by someone I was trying to return it on their site but I was unable as they are showing some type of error I try to mail as well as call but no response from them I want them to refund my money ...why are you cheating on people who trust on you ...I will never ever buy from bata

                            BATA INDIA - CHEATS out - NO REFUND

                            This is a mail sent to Bata

                            Hi,
                            My ref number is #280101

                            05 June - bought the product
                            09 June - delivered - immediately called+sent a mail with picture for return and refund
                            10 June - return picked up
                            13 June - called to confirm and was informed by customer care executive that accounts team will send the Payment link via mail on 15 June.
                            17 June - Called and spoke to an unresponsive executive who rudely said “nothing can be done you will have to wait till 22 June. (5 days for the accounts team to send the link)
                            22 June - called and was informed by customer care executive that they are working on it.
                            28 June - Till this morning. No information about my refund.

                            Is your accounts team so unresponsive ? Utterly disappointed.

                            Will you take nearly a month to refund your customer?

                            What business practice is this?

                            You got your product, now where is my money?

                            As promised from your side NO ONE CALLED on 07/07/2022.

                            And as I was speaking to your customer service Suryansh, he disconnected the call.

                            1. It has been 1.5 months and still you are not refunding the money back.
                            2. I have sent the product, sent the pictures, sent all details asked by you all.
                            The customer service person rudely asked for pics doubting the product would be used ( keeping him online I sent the mail with pictures proving the product to be new unused and tags not ripped)

                            3. I have been constantly following up.
                            4. The standard response I get is the ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT has sown server issues, so they cannot generate the payment link. And it would take another 3-5 days for tej accounts department to send the link.
                            5. In one of your mails your supervisor promised for a call back on 7 July 2022
                            6. Today is 21 July 2022 and no one has called or mailed or returned the money.
                            7. Is it right to keep another persons money?
                            8. Is it right to get the product and not return tej money?
                            9. Not everyone has time to keep following you, calling and staying in line till you verify for around 28 minutes for each call, I must have called 19 time in total.

                            Why are you cheating and Absolute horrible customer service.

                              I had placed order of two shoes worth INR 1499 & INR 1599, via BATA.In on 10th June 2022 and on receiving the same, they were returned promptly. Bata send me a Pay u link for refund which was non operational and since then I have been continuously following up with customer service for refund. they even asked me to submit a cancelled check copy for manual refund which was done promptly. My Case # with BATA is 286387 and now the customer service has stopped answering my calls. I have all phone recordings of their customer support representatives and Escalation desk executives as well their emails confirming that the refund will be done by 15th July.
                              Its come to a point of harassment by BATA customer service. Please Help!!

                                I am writing this letter to you to complain about the poor quality of the material used I observed in the shoes I recently bought.

                                my name is Raju Kaushik and I had I bought a pair of shoes from your Hush puppies shop No C-7 Cannaught place new delhi on 04 /06/2022. The total billing amount paid was 4999. I made payment for the purchase via Debit card. The model name of the shoes bought is 824 6768 and Invoice number is #CM[protected] and size no 8.

                                I regret to inform you that the product with such a good MRP turned out to be poor in quality. The sole of the shoe was damaged in 10 days. Then I go to your shop. The shop manager told me that we would repair this shoe and on June 14th I gave my shoe to stick it. And he returned the shoes to me on 28th June and that too with Fevikwik. Then I told the shop manager that you are giving me back shoes worth 5000 rupees by pasting 5 rupees feviquick, I can't take it. Give me my money back then they told me sir we can't return the money. You take this credit note and buy shoes from anywhere else. Then I go to the store for several hush puppies.

                                DLF Promenade, South Ex, Lajpat Nagar, Noida GIP Mall But worn and old shoes are available in all stores, being a regular buyer of your branded products it becomes difficult for me to accept the product received. please give me my money back. I am very tired. By checking online and visiting your shops. And my last complaint number is 318251
                                I request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful. I look forward to your quick and positive response.

                                    I am having a worst experience with Bata right now.
                                    I bought my daughter school shoes from Bata Shoe Store, Kalkaji, K-104, New Delhi.
                                    Invoice No. CM[protected]
                                    Date of purchase: 23.03.2022
                                    Maximum used two months, the shoes sole in open and the shoes very sub-standard quality.
                                    The store manager denied to replace the same.
