Hi,

I had purchased three foot wears from Bata Shoes in Bhangel, Noida on 12th June 2013. I made the payment by my debit card. The payment was deducted twice. The salesperson told me that it would get refunded back on the same day. I called up later in the day to inform that the payment was not refunded. I got a reply saying that it would get on the next day. I kept on calling them every day since but for one reason or another I get similar replies.

    I purchased shoe on[protected], order was completed successfully amount also deducted from my account. But till now I did not get the product. Order ID 10047014. I given complaint to the customer care, they gave me a complaint no:[protected] on[protected]. If I tell the complaint no they just telling that it is under process… what I have to do?? Even they not ready to refund my amount. Bata online service is most terrible…. before buying any product from bata please read this complaint along with order id and complaint no..
    No delvery against my order 10045323 about 40 days old. Courier traking no provided to me is wrong. Customer service centre unable to address the issue.

      i had purchased a pair of footwear on 14th April 2013. after one week i noticed changes in colour and texture of the footwear followed by gradual peeling of the insoles. thus on 24th i took that back to the shop and told my complaint to the store manager. alas and there started the verbal abuse by the manager. he was using such bad words that i really burst to tears. without even considering that i am a woman he poured on such bad words. i kindly request the respected personnel to do whatever you can to protect womanhood and dignity of women and to teach them what is good customer interaction.

      Reliance Footprints — Verbal Abuse

      I had recently purchased a pair of Reebok sllipers from Realiance footprints in Gopalan Mall Bannergatta Road. The slippers had manufacturing defect and i went to the store the very next day. I was speaking to the Manager but he refused to take in any consideration/possibility for a manufacturing defect.When I requested him to atleast look into the matter and also told him that if there was no fault i would leave but then he became furious and started screaming.This had now reached its saturation level and i then asked him his name and told him to talk in an appropriate manner,he then verbally abused me and forced me to leave the store.

        I have purchased a pair of all seaon shoes from Bata outlet located near Mulund East station in the first week of April.I purchased two pairs of sandals one worth Rs.299 and the other worth Rs. 799 .
        I started using the the sandal costing Rs.799 just a few days back and on the third day o[censored]se the strap of the sandal came out.

        I visited the BATA outlet requesting them to replace my shoe as i had used it only for 3 days.They are demanding for a bill which i have not retained. I asked them to search for a copy in their computer database from the barcode the shoe box has which i have .

        The Bata person is ready to repair my shoe which I dont agree as I have used the shoes for only 3 days and I expect a shoe replacement.

          Hi ,My Complain Numbers,27816,24698,22589,21192,20962.Number on Website which are not working or you will never reach on them.[protected]-18[protected]E-mail Address not working which mention on website.[protected]@bataindia.[protected]@bataindia.comFew Things To note down About BATA India.If you have any problem and lost bill ,you contact to store --- they say you to contact call center.call center say to mail them.after launched complain thay send you complain number.when you call again call center regarding complain ,they will tell you we are different from back office we can not help you.You have to argue on mail.They are No.1 Superior Company Of INDIA who chat on mail with customer.

          Call Center people do not have OUT GOING facility .(India's First Customer Care where they do not have Out Going Call facility for Customer.)Everything is moving round in BATA INDIA. Customer got confused and leave.This is not Indian Company who can not believe in After Sales Service.I had purchased one Hand Bag From BATA India. I purchased on 12th January 2013. I misplace bill.Withing purchased of 50days, ZIP BROCKED. I went and ask to shopkeeper they told me to contact customer call center. I contact and launched a complain on[protected]. After I launched complain they told me to wait 7 working days.After few days they did not reply me . I called on every two days and asked them what happens , they always answer same wait its under process.on[protected] I called and asked about complain they told me you will get reply withing tomorrow evening.On[protected] I called and ask what is status. One of Customer executive told me Sir send me your bank statement so we can help you.After 10 days they informed to send BANK Statement.I send them on same day[protected].On[protected] I got mail that sorry due to due date we can not help you.Is this my fault that they did not inform me and did not reply me?I called every 2 days in call center but they never reply.After argue with Mr. Sandeep Kumar till 15 minutes on[protected]. He told me we can not help you , do whatever you want we do not care.I told him to transfer any Senior Executive that time he told me Noone is here I am handling everything .

          After argue with him I again called I argue 15 minutes with ASHISH. Then he transfer call to AMIT . Amit told me sorry its our fault that we did not reply you . He again launched new complain and told me within 5 working days your complain got solved.After again few days I waited and got same mail that wee can help you. I called and argue with them andr eched to Mr. Shushul Kumar who told me that I am Senior .(I do not know these all names are Real Name Or Not) . He told me that within 2 days your complain will be resolve. And call me any time I will help you.After 2 days I called in call center and ask for Shushil Kumar the Executive VIjay put my call on hold for 20Minutes and phone got disconnected. Again I called and told Vijay He said no Senior Executive Available . All are in meetings tell me I will resolve your Problem.On Sunday[protected] Morning I got First call From BATA India at 10.30 a.m. [protected].She told methat store manager called you in 2 hours and you will get your problem solved. Till today I did not gotany call from BATA India.Again I called on[protected] they again launched new complain , they told me it will be resolve in 5working days.They never read your mail properly .they just reply you with complain number. I explain you how they wrote. Customer care executive do not know how to write proper name. My name is MIHIR and they reply with MEER.Till The date they are working on my Complains. They are Investigating on my Complain.The Great management of BATA INDIA. That they are working on 1 Complain from last 22 days but they can not find the solution to resolve it.

          (1) i am not receving the bill from past 2 to 3 month

          (2) i had given a complain to deactivate the blackberry service on 9 of june request no. [protected] and the service was deactivated from next day. as i went to pay the bill i got notice that vodafone has added around rs 2700 in my billing made from june and july.

          (3) and i had given many complian requarding it but i am not getting the response from them.

            Hi,

            I have purchased one shoe from BATA INDIA,
            SHOP NO.15 & 16, LEVEL II GROUND FLOOR SHIPRA MALL,INDIRAPURAM GHAZIABAD UTTAR PRADESH

            Shoe got damaged in 2 months with pasting problem.

            When I report this same to the company they refuse to replace the same.

            I do not see any reason for not replacing the same.

            Even I reported the same to the company toll free customer care with all details they again asking me to go to the same shop for repair.

            BATA INDIA Complain No: 23985

            The print out of the bill was faded (all most about to be blank ) and shop keeper was not helping me.
            I told the bill no and date then i requested for a duplicate bill for the same still shop keeper did not give me and harassed me a lot.

            If this is the service of Bata where should we go?

            I want to ask the MD of Bata that is this that the policy of BATA and do BATA look for the customer satisfaction???

            Looking of an solution for this.

              Dear Sirs,

              I have purchased a pair of Bata Shoes on 28th October 2012 vide cash memo number 28-10-12/1/0093 from Bata Shoes, 13, Ashoka Super Market, S.V.Road, Goregaon(West), Mumbai - 400062.

              Today, to my utter surprise I observed that there was a crack in sole of both the shoes. I am not aware when this could have happened as generally you don't anticipate any problem with your newly purchased shoes. Moreover, my work profile is mainly a desk job and I travel to office and return back to home in CAR. So actual wear and tear is very very minimal. Immediately I looked for the purchase bill and again to my surprise, on the reverse side of the bill, it was printed that warranty is valid only for 2 months.

              Is that mean Bata standards are so low now (which supposed to be very high in earlier times) that company have to keep warranty only for 2 months and not even for 6 months. It could also mean that company also do anticipates that there could be chances of some manufacturing defects cropping up after 2 months and company can escape from the liability by showing the warranty validating period.

              It is a big shock for me and plan to visit the store in this week for lodging formal complaint with Bata Stores and will keep you posted on the outcome.

              Request you to please take up the issue with the company for improvement in the quality standards thereby improving the customer satisfaction because customer lost once, means virtually lost for ever.

                I HAVE PURCHASED A PAIR OF BATA SHOES FROM M/S.BATA INDIA LIMITED MILINDA'S MANOR 2.R.N.T. MARG INDORE ON 29TH NOVEMBER 2012.
                I HAVE MADE THE PAYMENT OF RS.999 THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD AND WITHIN TWO AND HALF MONTHS MY SHOES WAS CRACKED.HOWEVER I WENT TO BATA SHOP AND SHOWN THE SHOES AND THEY HAVE PROVIDED ME THIER CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER AND I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD DISCUSS THE SAME WITH THEM.
                HOWEVER TODAY I HAVE RECEIVED A MAIL FROM BATA INDIA LIMITED IN WHICH THEY HAVE MENTIONED THAT IT WAS NOT THE MANUFACTURER'S FAULT AND IT WAS HAPPENED INCEDENTLY BY ME ONLY AND THEY WERE NOT READY TO REPLACE THE SHOES.

                SIR PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS MATTER.

                  i have bought shoes from BATA store in MG road ON 8 DEC 2012 using a bata shareholder coupon which entitles me to get 20 % disc on all bata products . The shoe went bad and i applied for change of shoe as it was in 6 months replacement warranty on7 jan 2013 . But on changing the shoe on 9 jan13, the store charged me the 20% disc amount stating that it is to be charged as we are replacing the shoe. I lodged complaint with bata india regarding this on 11 JAN 13 with complaint number 2561 , but after 15 days of no rEply from company i register complaint again on 28 JAN 13 with complaint number 8095 they said that they would look into this at earliest. but no action taken nor i get any sort of communication from the co . I register the complaint again on 5FEB 13, but all are in vain.

                  I DEMAND FULL REFUND OF MY 20% AMOUNT THAT I PAID TO DEALER PLUS " COMPENSATION " AS I SPEND A LOT ON CALLS TO CUSTOMER CARE ( EACH CALL WAS OVER 30 MIN DURATION) AND SUCH A NEGLIGENCE FROM BATA, A REPUTED CO HAS CREATED A MENTAL TENSION FOR ME.

                  BATA service — Bata - refunding , Action Not taken

                  Hi,

                  on 20 July I asked one of cost 229 Rs. then after going back to home i got some other model code 6618088 - Belinda ( 499 Rs ), I paid also 499 Rs in the shop, but at home i foundthis was by mistaken exchange some others selection which was not fit to my size then I returned it back on 2nd aug but during that time I got some new stuff but this item (
                  Belinda) they ( bata shop keeper ) took on 290 Rs, it means almost 499
                  - 290 = 209 Rs is LOST for me, Now I want th 100 % refund becuase I went on 14 days to the shop keep to exchange the thing. Please contact me on mobile for further detail. This is absoletly cheating case as the price goes down bcos of discount and middle of that customer came to exchange the item.

                  then after this BATA service replied me to ask further details about Name of Store and dates.

(Please note that the replacement value of next purchase will be equal to the current MRP of the similar article as mentioned in your last cash memo).

                  but after RE_VISITING the store, the shopkeeper, completely denied to "REFUND" the money or "REPLACEMENT" on the reason of ..."BATA service has not communicated with them..., once they communicate they will INFORM ME".

                  but so far not single action taken by "Shop keeper" as well from BATA services.

                    it was quite alarming to see the way sales executives were behaving at a bata store in Tezpur, Assam.which also happens to be the only bata store in the town.
                    individuals specially in smaller towns left with not much options, often have to face such situations when they are being misbehaved. often customers dont compliant because, they again have to come back to the same shops and therefore, they stay mum at many instances.
                    but to my surprise i saw an executive misbehaving and getting abusive with two ladies at the same store on a petty issue.
                    i guess lack of adequate training of these sales executives and also the fact that customers have no other options, makes these guys super imposing.
                    unless such issues are seriously being taken into account...Bata would surely loose its clientele.

                      I have booked one item on bata.in site on 26th Dec 2012 via order no. 10106364. On 1st Jan 2013 I got a mail from Bata.in that your suborder has been cancelled and you will get your money back within 6 to 8 working days. I have sent mail to bata regarding refund on 11th Jan, no reply from Bata. After that on 16th Jan I have made call and logged comlaint in bata. My compalint with bata is 2526, 4609,6518, 6554. All the time they give commitment that you will get refund amount within 2 to 3 working days it almost 1 month of my order has been cancelled and its also cancelled from Bata and still I am awaiting for refund

                        I had purchased a Bata Belt on the wbsite bata.in my order number is[protected]Purchased on Jan 7).
                        The order confirmation mail was sent to my mail id.
                        On jan 12th I got email like Order No.[protected] Your Suborder is Cancelled
                        due some reason (File attached).
                        As per their re-fund polity it should have been refunded to my account by 20 (6-8 days as mentioned in the mail) through which I had made the payment. It has not been re-funded yet. And I have lodged a complaint in their website also.

                          I am a regular customer of bata since 25 years and have not faced any quality issues till date. However I have purchased a Bata shoes bearing article no. 8084179 on 29.8.2012 from Bata shoe store 80 ft road indiranagar. i have started using the shoe from Nov second week. To my surprise both the shoes started tearing off after using it for one month only. I hope the matiriel was old/defective there by it has torned off with limited use of nto more than one month.

                          India Today — Defective Quality

                          Reebok Watch received under India Today offer stopped working soon after delivery. Need replacement.
                          I got a watch form india today worth 500. When I opened the parcel its already damaged.When I sent them mail there is no reply. When I called them no one is lifting the call. I am feelign cheated

                          I have purchased a pair of bata shoes from BATA INDIA LTD, 36 Paltan Bazar, Dehradun vide their cash memo No.[protected]/1/001 for Rs. 1299.00 on dt.[protected], It is very sorry to say that the quality is so bad that it has been broken from inside within these few days. I am very old customer of bata, but now i should say that now company is not struct to their quality.The shoe category is shown in cm is 8214942. Ab to lagta hai yeh company bhi cheater ho gayi hai.

Company's employees and the staff reflects its quality and regards towards its customers.
                            I had purchased an article on 13.11.12 (on the day of Diwali) and after not more than 45 days, the shoe sole cracked into two. I approached the manager but he was so cold to his customer. I could not produce my bill but remembered the purchase date which after so many embarrassments, i could get it tallied with the manager as no such article was sold out within a radius of a week. But still the company keeps no regard to its customers and does not help me out. Many other customers who saw me fighting for my right saw the real image of the company and would probably never come back just like me and i would make sure i help many others to save themselves from such harassment from company employees in future.
                            It is not a matter of the amount i paid for my shoe but the customer wants that respect from the company it pays to which Bata lacks in!

                              We regret to inform you that your replay is against relevant consumer protection act and very sorry to state that you have taken the matter very lightly and failed to settle the grievance towards a product of high value (Rs 1788/-). I am attaching the photographs of the defective shoes solely of your manufacturing defect for necessary consideration and refund of the value.

                              I am very sad as a brand loyalist of you to hear that the request for replacement was rejected siting certain period of purchase and against natural justice.

                              If the said articles that are under manufacturing defect purchased from you is not replaced properly or failed to refund the amount within 14 days I shall constraints to take civil and criminal proceedings against you by the existing rule of the law.

                              In this connection I would remind you that I might not be forced to seek media coverage of the defective shoes purchased from you which will definitely invite bad reputation and consumer rejection of your product.

                              Hope you may not aggravate the situation by inviting litigation etc. and again request you to replace the defective shoes or refund the price immediately.

                              Bata — faulty product

                              f this was the first time a BATA product had failed in the recent times I would have thought that this could be an exception. But this is the second time and I am REALLY disappointed.

                              This is pertaining to my sandals that I had purchased from Bata Shoe Store, 134 Naveen Market, Kanpur on 23/05/2009. I had issues of shoe bite within the first week and when I had approached the store, I was told that this is common with new sandals and should solved over time. Without giving the matter a second thought I left for my college in Pune. And as luck would have it, on a rainy day while I was travelling to a destination away from my college, the metal clip (pic attached) gave way and I was stranded on the middle of the road.

                              Had it been a problem with adhesive, I could have considered it to be a problem of rough use. But I can assure you that I do not possess superhuman strength to break metal. Nevertheless, I approached the store once again and I was told to approach the shop with the cash memo and broken metal piece. I was assured that the matter will be resolved if found that it was a case of faulty product and not rough use.
                              Now since I am studying in Pune and was not inclined to venture outside the campus due to the Swine flu scare, I had to wait till I got back home to Kanpur. Yesterday when I approached the store I was told that the store guarantee was for mere 10 weeks (astonishingly small duration if you trusted the quality of your products) and since it is 6 weeks past that deadline, nothing can be done now.

                              Now why am I writing this mail? Of course because I want my sandals replaced, but more so because of the feeling of mistrust. Since childhood, my parents have sworn by the quality of BATA products and I have used shoes of no other company during my entire schooling. It was with the same trust that I bought these pair of sandals only to find that the quality was below par and to add to the deceit that the company would choose to ignore the whole thing. I would not use the usual cliche of "I will NEVER buy a BATA product ever again." Rather than worrying about the spilt milk I would take this as an example to warn all of my family and friends of the deplorable state of your products.

                              What I expect from you is to kindly consider the problem of mine with utmost sincerity and do what you can to make sure that you do not loose another faithful customer like me. In this whole process of retrospection if you think that there is something that you can do to help me out, that will be great.

                              I really hope that you take this customer fedback seriously.

                                      Sir, I am a regular customer of Bata and on Tuesday, 11th December 2012 I went to a Bata showroom which is situated in Tilak Dwar Mathura to purchase a sued spray of green colour, But The store Manager Mr. R.K.Gupta Behaved in a very bad manner, when i told him to speak properly he started abusing me and my father both.
                                      It was a very unfortunate and very unexpected behavior by an employee of esteemed organization like Bata. Kindly take some strong actions against him.
                                      Sir, This happened on 12th Dec 2012, Wednesday...There is no option to edit the complaint so i am posting this comment instead.

                                        I (S.B.Tiwari) placed online supply order to bata india through his online portal on dated 01.12.12 and amount of one pair shoe paid through net banking in the same date. I tried to contact his customer care through his tollfree number [protected], but nobody receiving the call. Again I complain through email but no action is being taken from their end. My order number is 10100279, dated 01.12.12, Article number 8332092 and amount paid Rs. 549.50.
                                        When I tried to see the status of order through his order tracking system, It is showing that payment received . Kindly help me.
