With due respect it is submitted that I have purchased a Sleeper Article No.5718089 Priyank of amount Rs.299 on 19.8.2011 from your Bata Shoe Store, Patankar Bazar, Gwalior.On wearing it on second time only, the buckle of the sleeper is broken on 7.10.2011 in short period.Hence I visited to the Bata Showroom for complaint, but the staff said come after two weeks.When I visited after two weeks the manager/staff said that you have came so late and warranty period has been over and misbehaved with me which is unfair trade practice.I have purchased this sleeper looking at the quality,reliability and good service of Bata Company but it was only my myth.

It is requested that take appropriate action as early as possible against the above complain and kindly replace my sleeper or refund money.Otherwise I shall be compelled to take legal action before Hon'ble Consumer Forum,Gwalior.

Bata — replacement of buckle

I have purchased bata comfortina but unfortunately I was more found it very uncomfortable as the buckles of my sandles were broken with in 10 days of its purchase. I went to its showroom in Centre Point, Aligarh and I was asured by the shopkeeper that it will be returned by 5 th of April. My shoes has not been rrepaired till date and I am facing wastage of time and money. The money spent by me to pick up my sandles were more than the cost of its purchase. Despite an assurance made by the company that your money will be returned if any complian occurs within 15 days of its purchase that too 100% my inconvinece still remains the same. Kindly look into the matter.

Dear sir,

Ihave purchased a shoe in BATA showroom located at Bangalore Near Forum on 23/10/2012, only 8 hours i used in that shoes as changed left side size shoe is different and right size shoe is different, I have already complaint to BATA Showroom, still they have not solve my complaint, pls solve my problem, otherwise i will complint to consumer court.

    I wanted to share my experience & writing a mail with deep regret and anguish as I had visited along with my family on dated on 18th Nov-11 @ 9:20 to your BATA showroom located at Bannerghatta Road Bangalore next to Petrol Pump,



    Its was 9:20pm when your shop was above to close & the staff was above to pull the shutter, I was inside my car & asked my wife to request the staff for purchasing a pair of white canvas shoes form my son, My wife entered the shop & ask the cashier.. Hi I need to purchase a pair of white canvas shoes, the cashier & other staff was busy gossiping in Malayalam language, she again said excuse me can you give me a pair of shoes, the staff replayed arrogantly no we are close , madam come tomorrow , No pls help me as tomorrow will be to late as my son has to attend the class @ 8am, No no Pls go away that is not my problem, you should have planed since morning why now at this time, do you think we are dog to slog for 24hrs, My request again don’t worry I know what is want to purchase Pls… Staff laughed at her & asked her to leave, she came out of store, I asked her what happen? did you manage to buy, she replied those 3 boys at the store are bunch of Joker has no respect for a women, I said ok let me request them…



    Me & my wife again entered the store, 1 of them came out of the counter and looked at my wife and told, are you mad to come back again after telling that we are close, I was very irritated & furious that how can a staff talk to my wife in this fashion, I immediately asked the staff how dare you talk to my wife like this, he did not respond & started walking towards store room, I stopped him & asked for the shop manager/owners mb numb, he stood back & came close to my face & said this is company you get lost from hear as I am getting angry now, I stood their & did not no what to do with this arrogant staff who was constantly laughing on us & chatting in their mallu language , but I would understand few of their action that they were abusing me, I finally wanted to give them back & walked up to counter & said this is not done your billing counter is still open & your are fooling us, Both of them came out of the counter & started using vulgar language on me & tried to push me out, my wife was very embarrassed with their language, she finally could not tolerate any further & pulled my hand towards entrance , as we were walking , 1 of them replied ? get out are else you will be physically pushed out of the store, I stood & tried to tell him that you will face the music for the bad behavior, he came all the way & cot my T-Shirt & ask me to go are else I will not be able to control my anger, my mom & son rush from the car & took me out,



    I really don’t know, what type of quality benchmarks are you following during the course of your manufacture. You are literally taking the Customer for a ride without adhering to any quality benchmark/standards. I feel your Bata showroom is just a show piece with high pricing and with no customer service , and is no more better than an ordinary store where there is no quality at all. Please introspect and take necessary action and these things are not repeated. Customers like me will always vouch. Time is not far, if you start facing legal action for your pathetic service and scant, I am so disappointed that I am being wearing bata shoes right from my childhood & now my children’s ,



    Trust I will never again step in any of your bata stores in my dreams!!!! Pathetic & poor customer service



    I will certainly take this to a next level & will consult my office legal team on this worst horrifying experience of my life



    I don't know whether you will bother about this feedback. But if you have every cared to care for your patrons, I would like to believe that you will respond.

      reminder

      I had purchased BATA shoes "Bata Power sports shoes", with three month rubber sole of the shoes come out because which I felt down on plat form also.

      When I went to the Bata shoroom at Andher West, Alaram Centre opp.Andheri show room, they didn't repond me well. i request them to repair the shoes for which i will pay the money, but they can't repair & tell me to through the shoes in Dustbin.

      This what BATA such a reuted company selling the POOR QUALITY OF SHOES, & the customer like me suffer for the same. I had purchased this shoe in jan 2011 only. I left the shoes in showroom & told them i will complaint about the same. but they were laughing for the same.

      i request to you to take the action on the same & show that there is somebody to hear for such complaint.

      this a reminder, i have before also done the complaint about the same but no respond from your department

      Pls do the needfull.

        Dear sir
        I buy a Bata show online trough Bata website on 11Oct11, its clearly mentioned on website that product will be delivered within 7 working days in Delhi. But they delivered on 27th Oct 11, although i already canceled the order on 24th Oct but still they deliver on 27th.
        But the product they delivered is defective as their are so many cuts in stitches and sole is not pasted properly. when i complain about this their customer care mailed me that you visit our preet vihar store for shoe evolution. i submitted now store manager showing like i am taking their favor to get evaluation done and has given 5 days time.
        I feel totally harassed in this deal mentally and physically. and want you take a some strong step to prevent these kind of fraud.


        FYI enclose is the trail mail between me and Customer Care of Bata.

          Hi,
          I have ordered a pair of shoes from the website http://www.bata.in/ for the price of Rs973 on 2nd November ( Order number :[protected] . Today is 16th of November & it is still not delivered.I have called up Bata Customer service number number [protected] twice with in this time frame, i was really surprised with such a worst customer service from one of most reputed footwear company. Both the times the rep who spoke to me was such a dumb fellow , that he even do not know basic norms of call handling. He was not even able to provide his supervisor when asked for....

          When i try to log in to the website and check the status of the order i always get the same message : "Invoice generated" and the same thing is being informed by the agent both the times.I am not sure when i am not getting get my home delivery on time, that too i am staying in metropolitan city , not remote place. I wish i could sue these guys , for giving false promises on websites that products ordered online will be delivered with in 3-7 days.

          At the same time not sure how are these people running a call center, having a nation wide toll free number without following basic ethics.

          All that i want/wish is to have my product delivered asap or provide me a complete refund with an apology.

          Bata — NOT DELIVERING GOODS IF PURCHASED ONLINE..

          THEY WILL NOT PROCESS THE ORDER AND DELAYS THE DELIVERY... NOT MEETING THE DATES AND POOR CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE.. CHECK THE ORDER 10026455 U WILL UNDERSTAND THE DIFF BTW ORDER DATE AND PROCESSING TIME.
          i also get same problem with this online purchase of Bata
          Worst ever experience in online shopping:
          I purcahse a pair of power shoes (Size 7) frm bata.in on 12th Nov. with promising delivery within 5-7 days. but on 18th Nov. they update the status as invoice generated and then on 22 nov, they shipped it. i received the packest on 26th Nov. i.e. after 14 days.. on opening the box I felt shocked that instead of 7size, the shoes were of 6 size. A foolish mistake by such a big footwear company. I make a complaint on 27th Nov regarding this (complaint number:[protected] and i was told to get response within 48 hrs but when i did not get any calll from bata then i again called to custmoer care (kasht se maro) it was again shocking that they told me to w8 for 7 more days to just get a reply and not the solution. I am very disappiointed from this. it was my biggest mistake in life in online shopping. other online shoe stores are far far better than Bata.

          Shame on Bata. guys please do not buy anything from Bata. let us dicard the bata together.

          Yes, BATA Online service is worst, who ever has trust on bata will never prefer bata from next purchase on items, Its the same case for me, The status is always Invoice generated, I raised a complaint, They said they will update the status, bata sales will never survive for coming future.
          Bata shoes quality has become worst. Nowadays, they are just making people fools. The lowest price shoes are sold at very high prices. And, every time, there is a chance of shoes being damaged within 10-20 days. When we go to Bata Showroom for replacement, they tell us to wait for 5-10 days. Is the customer so free to visit Bata Showroom again and again? Bata does not pay any money for travel charges. Also, what will the customer wear in those 5-10 days? And even after that, Bata does not do the replacement. It says to buy another one of same price. Do the customer have so much time and money to visit Bata and look for shoes again and again? Bata is just a fraud.
          I am fully in agreement with the comments given above. The Bata online purchase has been designed this way to dupe customers. The delay seems intentional rather than a mistake. I have placed my order on 12 Dec 12 and have still not got the delivery - complained 9 times, 7 on tele and twice thru mail. 2nd time e-mail complaint couldn't be generated against the same order no. No link to check your on-line complaint status. Very disgusting experience.

          I have ordered the product on the above said date, I have got the confirmation call regarding order after 2 days. He confirmed me that your order will be shipped within 7 business days. Its been more than 2 weeks & I haven't got my order.When I saw the cancelled status of my order, I felt cheated and mentally harassed by Bata India.

          Just because I have ordered the product on Bata, I haven't ordered the same product from other vendors.

          Tell me the reasons why my order has been cancelled without any prior information & permission. It is informed to you to revoke the same order & send the same product as per order placed by me at the earliest otherwise I will forced to move to Consumer Court for justice in respect to the harassment and cheating by Bata India.

              i bought a bata shoe by an online order with size 9 on date 15/8/2011 and was delivered with size10 within next 14 days for which i registered a complaint on its customer care on 26/9/2011 for the change of its size. my complaint no. is[protected] and i was asked to courier the shoe to its corporate office address 732/1, 4 &5 floor, lotus plaza, sector-14, m.g.road, gurgaon, haryana. 122001, which i did through the aramex domestic n the shipment no. is[protected], since then till date i have been calling the customer care for its solution but i am still empty hand since last 40 days of registering the complaint. the customer care executive name mr. mukesh. mhd. razaa and its senior executive mr ata-ur they all promise me to sort out the problem but still have not got any result. looking forward for some serious action and positive result . thanx

                I purchased pair of floaters from Bata showroom at Ooty. One of the strap broke down the next day, since I was visiting Ooty and was originally from Bangalore I contacted the customer care to get the item replaced in Bangalore. After 20 days or so i got a mail saying i can visit a particular showroom in bangalore to replace the product. I visited the store but store manager refuses to replace saying he dont have any information from Bata to replace the item. And i need to contact customer care. I repeatedly called customer care and asked them to contact showroom manger and let him know about the case. But there was no response. I had called cutomer care around 10 to 11 times asking for the same, and explaining the whole scenario every single time. Each time they said we will do the needful and they have logged the details in the complain but every single time i had to describe all details and requesting them to contact the manager but all went in vain. I later stopped calling them, tired of all these times.
                There is no way of escalating the issue, i asked number of times at the customer care desk if i can speak to any of their senior but every time they said there is no senior available at this moment. There is no furthur contact at the website apart from customer care number. Nobody notice the complain made on website, nobody reply the mails. Only was is to call them. I dont think i will ever buy anything from Bata now and wont advise anybody to do so. There are many other companies in the market to buy shoes. Cant say if their customer support is same as Bata.

                  I have bought a shoe of Bata company.I have used this shoe only for 3months,and this is the first time i got complained with the shoes.I am always using the footwears of Bata company.the colour of the shoe is black,the serial number is 855-6011 and the price is Rs 1999.
                  Before 3days i have sent the same complaint but there wasn't any response about this.The complaint is that left side of the shoe has a crack at the bottom.I want to return to Saudi-Arabia within 1 5days,so kindly replace this shoe as early as possible.

                  I have recently bought a shoe of Bata company.The serial number of the shoe is 855-6011 and the price is rupees 1999.
                  I have used this shoe only 3months.I am always using the products of Bata company and this is the first time i got complained in the shoes.The complaint is that the left side of shoe gets cracked at the bottom.

                    i have purchased a strolly bag model ONYX EXP STROLLY 55 from reliance footprint ltd at axis mall in kolkataon 09.07.2011.while purchasing they assured us to repair if it is damaged within warranty period but when the lock of my bag malfunctioned and i took it to the reliance footprint store where i purchased the denied our proposal and asked us to visit the nearest vip outlet which was against their fake assurance.But when i talked with the manager of vip customer care they requested them to collect the damaged bag from us but still they refused and harassed us.

                    I bought a bag on 15th May 2011, After taking out the bag i realised that bag had awful odour and it spread all over the place. I kept the reciept and on 20th May 2011 , along with the reciept i went to get it exchanged.
                    Instead of lisyening to my complain he misbehaved in front of other customers and did not even exchange the product.
                    Kindly, look into it...so that in future he should behave the same way.

                      I had placed one order online with http://www.bata.in whose no is 10026883 but it was rejected for some reasons and i made the payment through HDFC credit card. The customer support at bata.in kept telling me ill get the refund within a week but its been more than 40 days and i have not received my refund. My complaint no with bata is[protected] .                         Hello All,

                        Recently, just 2 months back, i had brought bata shoe from HSR Layout Branch.
                        Lower Sole got disenagaged just after 2 weeks.
                        Now after 2 months after purchasing. The upper sole has come-off seperate..
                        This is very bad quality, from bata.
                        I paid rs 1499 and brought from bata specifically based on its reputation and quality work. Now i,am totally lost trust on this brand.

                        Everyone, please think more than twice from bata, It is better to pay more and go for woodlands or redtape or anyother brand.
                        Atleast they last for sometime.

                        I have purchased[protected] leather shoes from -

                        Bata shoe store, (557/02109) s no. 2552, babasaheb ambedkar chowk, opp deluxe cinema, lt road, pimpri-411017 tel no[protected]

                        against cash memo no.16/6/08/1/[protected] dated 16/6/08 20.08 Hrs,

                        However within single trial after started using the strip at bottom collects beneath the foot & starts pinching from bottom side. It is due to poor gumming, gum wet, ...& related reasons.

                        I went to the store to return the pair back & asked for refund as 100% compensation.

                        However the storekeeper / Manager upfront refused for repayment & wanted to settle with repair only. However I need repayment as I don't want to use that model of shoes& will prefer to buy another set of different model. But this was not accepted.

                        I feel that poor gumming & pinching due to accumulation of strip inside the shoe is a major Quality failure & needs to be addressed urgently. These kinds of goods should not reach Bata outlet since it damages the brand name of such famous shoe brand. Though it is economy class shoe still the required quality should be maintained in the goods sent into the market.

                        What is a minor failure in the product & what not is to be decided by the customer since it affects the body parts of customer. How to address it in the mfg. process whether major rework or minor rework that is not a question for the customer.

                        Hence I request 100% refund in this case. The shoes are given back to the store without any receipt obtained. Since they wanted to offer only rework receipt.

                        Kindly look into the matter & arrange for refund from the same Bata outlet.

                        I'm using Bata shoes & Chappals since childhood & very fond of. I'm surprised to get such poor quality goods from Bata shop, please keep the quality up & improve the service to customers.

                          I got very bad experience at TATA Showroom at Andheri (West ) nr Andheri Station, M A Road, Laram Centre, I had purchased a TATA Power shoes (sports) worth Rs.999/- in January 2011 7 within six month the rubber sole of shoes got out & because of that I falt down on railway station also.

                          When went to the shop & told them to repair the shoes for wihch I was ready to pay the money also but I got very bad answer from them that they can't & thro the shoes in the "DUSTBIN". I left the shoes on the conter only went out angreely.

                          I SHOULD NOT BEAR COST SUCH POOR QUALITY OF SHOES WORTH RS.1000/-.

                          pls take action and do the need ful.

                              Very bad service from bata will never ever use their buy online facility ever in my lifetime. Suggest all consumers to avoid this site unless Bata mend the way they operate. You will go through hell if you place an order from Bata online. I purchased a shoe on 6th sept and till today 20th sept I am yet to receive the same it is the 14th day I am waiting to wear the shoe. This service SUCKS Shame on you Bata India Ltd

                                I have purchased pair of shoes from Bata showroom, Nr.Kisor Plaza Station Road, Anand.on 13/05/2011 after five month my shoes lether damage. i am going to showroom for repair the same on 17/09/2011 he tell me that your shoes compliete by company & get back it on monday 19/09/2011 but the problem was not solve by company & get back it to me with same problem & telling there staff me that it's not done by us. so you wear the same shoes with same problem.kindly request you to take necrery step in the matter .

                                  I HAVE PURCHASED THE BATA SHOE ON 17th April 2011,WITH IN THE 3 MONTHS THIS SHOE MID OF BOTTOM PART STARTED BROKE NOW AND VISITED THE BATA SHOW ROOM ABOUT THE COMPLAIN, THAT HE WAS TELLING THE LIFE OF BATA SHOES ONLY 2 MONTH SO THAT WILL PROVIDE YOU ONLY 60 DAYS OF WARRANTY AFTER THE 61 DAYS WILL NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE WILL ACCRUED.


                                  MY QUESTIONS:-
                                  IF QUALITY WORK ONLY 60 DAYS ? THERE IS NO USED FOR GOING BATA PRODUCT. ITS VERY MUCH BETTER TO BUY ANY LOCAL PRODUCT WHICH EASILY WORK MINIMUM OF 6MONTH.

                                  MY HUMBLE REQUEST TO BATA DON'T MANUFACTURE THIS KIND OF WORST USELESS PRODUCT, WHICH SPOIL YOUR NAME AND MARKET VALUE, THIS IS MY SECOND BAD EXPERIENCE WITH BATA CO.

                                  AS PER MY RATING OF THIS SHOE I WILL GIVE YOU ONE OF THE LAST RATED SHOES IN THE INDIAN MARKET.

                                    I am using your product from last 34 years i.e. from my childhood,even my father is also using it from last 50 years so that i selected the same product for my child who is 9 years old and using your product Naughty boy school shoes from last 6 years .I have never seen such type of thing in your product which i faced this time.I purchased one school shoe for my son in August first week from your store at B K market,16A s p Sarani Kolkata 700071.Although there was one mistake on my side that I lost the bill but the shopkeeper knows me as we purchae bata shoes for our Compay named Kesoram Rayon A B .K.Birla group Of Companies.The shoe worn out after 10 days but as it is compulsory for my son to wear black shoes in school i got it repaired by a cobler in our society immediately.But after 2-3 days the stitch opened again.As it is compulsory in school to wear black shoes I purchased one another shoe from the same shop on 03 09 11 vide your invoice no.0015 and gave the old one to the manager of the shopp Yesterday when i went yo the shop the manager told that as you have got titched the shoes with the cobbler I anm helpless and cannot do any thing.I felt very bad that a company like you showing such a disgrace ful nature.iI told him that how can i be sent you the shoes the same day it worn out as it is important for my son to wear black shoe in school.So i hope you may think some methods to improve your service particularly for school children.

                                        I have received the below mail of yours as a solution to my complaint.
                                        My complaint was that the Sole of the Bata shoe Model no :[protected] which I purchased on the evening of 31.01.2012.Within 2 months from the purchase of the shoes, the sole of both the shoes was badly damaged. The hill of the shoe has developed cracks on both the sides. The material on the inner side of the shoe sole is of a very inferior quality it has disintegrated & is discomforting the feet.The sole pasting of the shoe is on the verge of splitting. Overall the complete quality of the shoe is pathetic & needs a lot of improvement. When this was brought to the notice of your customer care executive he assured me of a satisfactory solution but after 2 days I get a solution to Buy another shoe at 75 % cost. This is highly unacceptable. I would have been happy even if you would have offered for a sole replacement. But I was asked to spend 75 % from my pocket for the second time for a product which is not at all upto the standards. It is highly disappointing for the Brand like Bata to offer such a downgraded product & service. I am highly unsatisfied & would wish this matter to be escalated to the Topmost officer concerned.
                                        In any case I would not be going to the shop to buy another product of yours at the 25% discounted price. Please use the discount for someone needy. In case you wish to see the images of the damaged sole I can Email them in case you dont believe my words.
                                        If such a degraded service is continued at your end the brand value will only degrade. Hope that you take the corrective measures in time.
