I (S.B.Tiwari) placed online supply order to bata india through his online portal on dated 01.12.12 and amount of one pair shoe paid through net banking in the same date. I tried to contact his customer care through his tollfree number [protected], but nobody receiving the call. Again I complain through email but no action is being taken from their end. My order number is 10100279, dated 01.12.12, Article number 8332092 and amount paid Rs. 549.50.
When I tried to see the status of order through his order tracking system, It is showing that payment received . Kindly help me.

    1. दिनांक 26/11/2012 को आन लायन के माध्यम से मैंने लेडीज चप्पल का आर्डर 349.70/- कादिया जिसका आर्डर नंबर 10099091है, जो की मुझे दिनांक 06/12/2012 को कोरियर के माध्यम से घटिया किस्म की चप्पल की डिलीवरी की गयी, मैंने उसी दिवस इनके काल सेंटर [protected] पर अपनी शिकायत दर्ज करा दी जिसका नंबर [protected]है, परन्तु उक्त कंपनी न तो घटिया किस्म की चप्पल वापस बदल कर देना चाहती है और न ही मेरे पैसे ही वापस करना चाहती है/
    2. दिनांक 27/11/2012 को पुनः आन लायन के माध्यम से 2 जोड़ी लेडीज जूती का आर्डर किया जिसका आर्डर नंबर 10099248 व् 10099259 है/ सामान डिलीवरी की निर्धारित समय सीमा के अन्दर मुझे सामान प्राप्त न होने पर मैंने इनके काल सेंटर व् मेल के माध्यम से संपर्क किया परन्तु कोई सही उत्तर नहीं दिया जा रहा है/ जबकि उक्त कंपनी ने दिनांक 27/11/2012 को मुझसे 419.70 पैसे एडवांस ले लिए है/ निर्धारित समय सीमा से ज्यादा ब्यतीत होने के बावजूद न तो मुझे सामान दिया जा रहा है और न ही सही जबाब दिया जारहा है/ मुझे प्रतीत होता है की उक्त कंपनी सामान व् पैसे देना नहीं चाहती है/

      Though, I did not have a need to buy a new shoe but I still bought a pair of Hush Puppy shoe in the month of September from one of the Bata showroom's in Bangalore as the 50% off on the retail price deal appeared to be quite good. Only after I started using it a few weeks back, I realized the pair had a manufacturing defect; the leather flap under the lace of the right pair isn't wide enough and exposes the socks once you start walking. When I brought this to the notice of Bata showroom personel, he acknowledged the manufacturing defect but at the same time said he will not be able to replace the pair unless I get a witten communication from Bata customer service addressed to his showroom to do the same. I reported the matter to customer.[protected]@bata.co.in with a copy of the bill and snap of the manufacturing defect but I haven't heard so far from them.       Please note that as per the attached bill, I had bought a Quo Vadis sandal from bata at andheri west on 10th November 2007. I wore this for not more than 10 times and I noticed that the sole for the same got weared out. It got spoiled completely.

      I took the same to the bata showroom on 5th January 2008. This is less than 2 months after I buy the product.

      The person at bata refused to replace the same, eventhough there is a 3 months warranty on the product. Although he was ready to repair the same, which I didn’t accept.

      My question to you
      1. Why should I accept a defective piece from Bata.
      2. Why should I accept a repair if the piece is defective from Bata. A manufacturing defect.
      3. After paying the full cost of the product, why should I wear a repaired stuff.

      In lieu of the same, I demand a refund towards the cost of the same.

      Please note that I shall have to go to the consumer court, if this does not get resolved.

      This has refer to the purchase I made on 30/08/2009 of Hush puppies.



      To my surprise the entire upper leather as well as the sole has got peeled off, of just one foot, the other pair is very much intact.



      To my understanding, It clearly seems to be a manufacturing defect.



      When I took the same to the show room they mentioned that they can’t take it back.



      I am a regular(Almost for 4 years) buyer/user of hush puppies(I bought one yesterday too from the same showroom) I have never faced any problem ever before.

      I purchased the BATA black colour formal shoes Article number : 85169838 Quantity 1 and net MRP. 1499 /- on 21-Oct-12 from BATA SHOE STORE 4-7-201,GURUDWARA ROAD, HYDERABAD, and it is really disappointing to inform you that on 30-oct-2012 the right shoe sole worn out. I complained to the store manager but he refused to change it and said that he will repair rather to change. He said that you can ask BATA service if they agree he will change it. This is very unfair as after wearing it 6 official days I have to repair the shoes.

      Hi,
      I have purchased a footwear from Bata on 07th April 2013. It got a big crack in the sole and as per warranty of 60 days it should be replaced 100%. When I mailed to Bata consumer service First they said purchase is made 6 months back where as I have provided them with my debit card account statement showing date of purchase. Later they agreed to 75% replacement which should be 100%.
      Kindly do the needful.

        I had mentioned my details above iam using Bata products from the last few years.but sorry to say that my last two experience was really worse.my first purchase was on 30/08/2012.i bought shoes from your Bata showroom vellyambam branch trivandrum.it cost me 750rs.It last just hardly 45 days when i enquired in u r showroom they told me that i buy it in offer.what u people mean then why r u giving offer.My second purchase was on 12/11/2012 formal shoes from your karamanana trivandrum today date is 24/11/2012.hardly ten days but it looks like at least one year older.shoe is fully wrinkled.when i enquired in showroom they are saying.go and mail we cant do any thing. i had lost near about 2250rs with ur brand.i will tell every one not to buy any thing from bata its a wastage of money and time.you are renovating your show room pls do look on the quality.what i lost is lost do the need full. iam not ging to sit simply like every one.

I had been used to Bata shoes for the last 1 decade and as per my regular habit of buying, I bought an official wear (shoes) from your Kottayam Retail centre in Baker Junction (Kottayam) on June, 2012. The description of the product:-

          Type: Lace less type
          I used to use it a couple of days in a week as I wear some other models other days. Recently I noticed that the front part of half pair was ruined by the material mistake.           Bata — Manufacturing Defect in Shoes

          Dear sir,

          I have purchased New Shoes from Bata Outlets (Liberty Foot Wear - Rajpipla) on 20 days ago. I regret to inform you that the shoes have been damaged after 10 days use.

          Shoes cost Rs. 749.95

            The order 10095480 was placed on 31OCT to which the website/company claimed to get it delivered WITHIN 7 days.
            The first & the last update made/provided [on 2nd Nov] to us online was that its INVOICE has been GENERATED.
            Whenever we do call them for an update we get to hear that it has been escalated but we fail to see any progress on it & havent received any update too.
            No manager or supervisor is available EVER if we wish to talk to them.
            No one cares to respond to the emails. What type of service are they running?
            and if YOU CANNOT DELIVER ON TIME YOU SHOULD NOT COMMIT IT [just because others are ....and at least they do deliver on time & they have the cancellation option too!]
            When requested to cancel the order i was told by their executive that orders once made CANNOT BE CANCELLED. [what do they expect us to do? when they cant even deliver an order or atleast give us a relevant update on it]

              Dear sir,
              I am a BATA customer from many years. But now I am very much
              dissatisfied with your product. I have purchased Bata shoes on 15th
              october 2012 from the Bata shoes store(565/02349). It is of Rs 1299 .
              I do not expect shoes from Bata to only hold good for a year or two as
              the same guarantee can be given by a unauthorized roadside vendor.
              It is really disheartening that the shoe has shown such a complaint
              that too i've worn it in a week and it's not even a 10-15 days. When
              I observed the defect I went to the shoe store. They did not respond
              well . I said him that the soil is defective. They know m right then
              also they don’t exchanged the shoes & said call to customer service
              . After calling to customer service they said it is minor defect but I
              said it is defect weather it is major or minor . Soil is defective so
              it is coming out . I did not wear the shoes in office .i want
              replacement of my shoes .

                  Shoe purchased for Rs. 1499/- from M/s BATA india ltd, 1-34-32, anand nagar, chinna tokatta, new bowenpally, hyderabad, 500011, on 14.9.2012, within 15 days the leather started coming off. I showed the same to them on 4/10/2012, they simply pasted the worn out patch on the shoes with a gum, and returned the shoes. They refused to exchange or refund. I would request you to initiate necessary action and help me in getting my money back.

                    I’ve been a regular customer of Bata for the past so many years, infact right from my school days (I’m 42 now). This sandal which I got along with another pair, has really hurt my daughter’s feet so badly that it was swollen the next and unable to go to school. On check with the doc. he said the footwear is the reason for this. Its brand new that we had to wear for a wedding the previous day. Now that no one can use it only. WE’ve never ever faced such a problem with the products of Bata. Its really worth the money and we are always comfortable. But this time, it was so unusual that I also request that this particular pattern is not comfortable for many of the customers with whom I;ve checked.

                    I humbly request to consider my mail and advice your outlet in Arya Gowda Road, West Mambala, Chennai 600033, Tamil Nadu, to exchange this piece as it is just lying with me un-used.

                      Recently when i went to bata showroom udupi (ADDRESS-Priyadarshini Arcade, Near Bus Stand ,Udupi,Karnataka ) i din't find my size casual power shoes so when i was about to leave the shop, one of the bata shops men yelled at me for not buying a shoe when i told him that i was a prompt customer to his shop and he cannot speak like that with a customer , he even told me to throw my previously purchased shoes, so my query is do you really handle customer care issue of this sort because when i enquired with others they told me that this has happened with them as well.

                      so my query is do a consumer has any way to express himself in cases like this.

                        I bought hand bag from bata in Aug for 1500 and the handles started breaking and i got it replaced and new hand bag quality was the same and handles got breaking. just with in ten days.

                        i dont want to go for any more exchange as confirmed by customer care. i need my money to be refunded. how many time should i visit the store and every time they give bad product.

                        More over they say that for exchange u need to come before 5:00- pm and should not come during week ends also. this is the only one way of harassing the customer. How can we every time leave our work and go for exchange. they say that store manage will be available only till five but fact is he will be at store only till 9:00 pm.

                        When we can go for purchase any time shop is open then why cant they do the replacement any time customer comes. its not the fault of customer bata is giving bad products over all.

                        I Request all the People not to buy any more product form bata.

                        Please help me.

                            This is to bring into your kind notice that i am a regular customer of bata and a week ago i bought a new pair of DR SCHOLL (MASSAGIO) slippers .Almost after every six months i buy a new DR SCHOLL chappal.i have always been satisfied with them.But this time the very first day when i wore that footwear for few hours ,my dorsal i.e. the upper part of the foot which was in contact of the footwear got swollen and there was lot of itching in that area.i can not wear them for more than 5 minutes.I spoke to the shopkeeper from where i got them ,he only told me to send a complaining letter to the company.I am a resident of chandigarh.I bought the chappal from BATA showroom which is located in sector 19 chandigarh.
                            Hope that you will look into the matter as soon as possible and replace the chappal soon.

                              I had recently purchased an All season shoe from Bata Shop in R-Mall, Mulund West, Mumbai with the Article Number [protected] No. 8 . After a week of purchase there was some stitching defect for which I had given it back to the shop. He asked me to collect it after one week because it will be sent to the company for repair. I received the shoes after a week, but on using the shoes further the complete shoe got worned out and beyond repair. Inspite of being all season shoe and till date there has been hardly any rain my shoes were destroyed .On approaching the dealer they said they remember me having bought the shoes & giving it for repair but this time nothing can be done from their end even though they acknowledged it to be a Quality fault . In spite of writing to the company customer care on 21st August I have not receivede got any reply till date.

                              SIR, I PURCHASED ONE SHOE OF REEBOK BRAND FROM YOUR STORE AT BATA EXCLUSIVE SCINDIA MARG CITY CENTER GWALIOR ON 4-3-2008 HAVING HIGH PRICED Rs.999/- AS M.R.P, JUST AFTER PURCHASED WITH IN 10-15DAYS THE OUTER LINING OF THE SHOE IS FOUND TO BE CRACKED, THIS IS REALLY EMBRASSEMENT FOR ME, SINCE I PURCHASED A SHOE FROM BATA HAVING THE INTERNATIONAL BRANDED PRODUCT LIKE REEBOK, BUT TOO FOUND QUALITY WISE SO CHEAP THAT IT CRACKED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF PURCHASE, SO I RETURN BACK THE SHOE TO THE STORE INCHARGE & I REQUEST YOUR GOODSELF TO IMMEDIATELY EITHER REPLACE OR RETURN BACK OR REIMBURSE THE AMOUNT PAID IN ANY OTHER WAY TO ME.                               Bata India — POOR Quality

                              I'm Complaining about the shoes, that i bought jst 45 days back.
                              its rainy shoes.got cracked, when im trying to inquire for warranty period, there is no response from goreagaon, gram panchayat road, stall.

                              and in your bill / invoice you are providing a column related to warranty.

                              it showing a 75 days Warranty Period

                              and that concern person at goreaon branch, responding that only BATA can replace (means Your head office) the shoes, whatever you bought. and WE ARE Not Responsible for any defect.

                              really its amazing that you are providing such a bad facility ie. branch locator... who is irresponsible to their work.

                              if you can ...so look into this matter asap.
                              Companies with reputations such as BATA should make sure that all their outlets be responsible for all their products and their warranty as they are priced in such a way. BATA should have a department assigned for customers to lodge their complaint against their outlets, if they do not support customers.

BATA should have a department assigned for customers to lodge their complaint against their outlets, if they do not support customers.
                              same problem was faced by me sandal quality has been inferior these days no wonder why ppl don't visit these bata showrooms
                              The following details are given below for the damaged shoes bought at Tamilnadu, Tirupur,




                              1. Article No. 425-6638 size no 4 Rs. 649/- BATA Naughty Boy.


                              2. Stitching thread is cutted up on the side, Inside lace cloths are damaged, leather is not flexible, it is rough one.stick pad is very uneasy, It is not free air easily.


                              3. Bought at Bata India Ltd.53, Kamaraj Road, Tirupur .Tamil Nadu, dt. 11.5.11 thru SBI Card No. 7905 Rs.878/- manager name, staff name, telephone no. is no idea. this is your product, your shop, etc.,


                              4. Lady Shoe no.1 Rs.229 Article no is erased. bought at same date and shop these also very faded. Quality is not good.
                              I had recently purchased an All season shoe from Bata Shop in R-Mall, Mulund West, Mumbai with the Article Number[protected] No. 8 . After a week of purchase there was some stitching defect for which I had given it back to the shop. He asked me to collect it after one week because it will be sent to the company for repair. I received the shoes after a week, but on using the shoes further the complete shoe got worned out and beyond repair. Inspite of being all season shoe and till date there has been hardly any rain my shoes were destroyed .On approaching the dealer they said they remember me having bought the shoes & giving it for repair but this time nothing can be done from their end even though they acknowledged it to be a Quality fault . In spite of writing to the company customer care on 21st August I have not receivede got any reply till date.

                              I bought a pair of shoes worth rs.999/- in july 2014. Within 3 minths, the sole of both shoes got broken. I filed a complaint and after long discussion, i got the readressal. They asked me to visit the store and the store manager will decide the course of action. He offered me to exchange. I bought a new pair of shoes then worth rs 1199/- as i always belwived in bata's quality. Again after 3 monthes, i noticed the stiching of both the shoes has opened and also the shoes have torn. I was shocked to see such a poor state of shoes within such a short time o[censored]se again. I lodged a complaint stating all the facts. The compnay again asked me ro visit the store. The store manager refused to attend my complaint as the shoes were taken in exchange. This has now taught me a lesson that say tata to bata. The company is big only its name not in quality and customer satisfaction.
                              I had purchased a pair of shoes from Ambiance mall in Gurgaon. The stitch from the front has torn along with the leather thereby rendering the shoes unusable. I had taken the pair to the shop who have also stated that the pair cannot be repaired.

                              I would like to request that the pair be replaced as it seems to be a defect. I have been wearing Bata shoes but this seems to be the first time that I am facing this kind of problem. I am attaching some pics of the pair for u guys to see.

                              I am Rashid from Bangalore, one of your customer since long time, I have purchased a pair of BATA Formal Shoes (Product Code 8516652) Online through Amazon India for Rs. 999/- and got delivered the shoes on 18th April 2015. As per the specified details the warranty was 60 days but within 40 days the base of the shoe came separated from front and right side leather attached with the sole being teared and Non-repairable.

                              Please let me know whether I can replace the shoes at any of showroom available nearby me or not as the customer care of Amazon told me since the warranty was given by Manufacturer than you have to contact them and they will replace your shoes positively.

                                I Purchased one the Ladies Bag from the Bata india ltd 16,regal Building Connaught place on 19th March’12.

                                Within three month the bag belts start tearing. It’s very surprising that company like Bata supply this kindly of quality to the consumer the bag cost 1500 and I purchase form the fresh stock.

                                Last week I week to the shop the shop owner advised me the send the mail to you and the bag is at his custody .kindly look into this as i used this bag for a month period and i think if this kind of incident happen we have to think twice while buying any stuff from bata because as on date i am buying all my daughter school stuff room bata and including by regular slippers as well.

                                Dear Sir

                                I under sign Vikas Bhardwaj from Faridabad having Order No[protected] with A/C No 74099 .I wanted to put a complaint against TV Home Shopping Network Ltd for the purchase of Ladies Bag by paying Rs 1499/- after receiving the parcel nearby 20 days of delay from their 7-10 days normal delivery period. In another word I had booked the item on 24/08/2010 by phone to the company call centre but i had received the parcel on 23/09/10,but after 2 days my spouse bring me to this notice that the bag having some stiching problem with insider pocket.Then I immediately call to their call centre Ph No [protected] ie on 26/09/10 & lodge the complaint & also asked them to Refund my Paid Money.As they had directed me to give it to their contracted courier company TNT Express.I contacted them & given the parcel to them on 1/10/10 via Parcel No No DO[protected] WW.
                                Thereafter I called them so many times to their Call Center No [protected],[protected] & requested them for the refund of money,but they always says your case is waiting for the approval.Again last week i contacted them for the refund they had given me the Complain No 60888711 & assurance me to get the payment latest by 24/10/10 because they had forwarded my case for urgent basis.

                                But Sir toady is 27/10/10 Again I have contacted in morning & again they said my case waiting for approval !!!!!!!!!! what a pity????????????

                                I think this company is not reliable & they are making fool to the customer by selling the products on National T.V & they are not bother about sales & service concept.
                                I am frustrated because what happend if I would have involved with good amount value of money for buying any electronic items or some costly items.
                                Please save consumers right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!s
                                Please do the needful at the earlist & necessary.

                                  I had purchased Bata sandal from Bata store in Vikhroli on 31st Aug 2012. Store address: Shop no 1, Narendra Bhavan, Old court building, Station Road, Vikhroli (W), Mumbai - 83. The sandal got faulty on 11 Sep 2012. The shopkeeper replaced the sandal, and I paid Rs 50 extra for extended warranty on the new pair. However, the replaced item also turned faulty within a week (on 17 Sep 2012). I am returning the sandal to the shopkeeper and want full refund. How can the bata sandals get damaged in 10 days? I am not sure of the quality of the sandal and dont want to get them replaced or get them repaired.

                                  I immediately complained to their customer care (complaint no: [protected]) but not sure if any action would be taken.

                                    I placed an order of BATA Shoes (FRANKLIN, order number[protected] online on 15th Aug 2012 @21:49:21hr. I was surprised to receive the two different shoes are of different sizes - right one is "9" and the left one is "8". It is really hard to believe that a world class company is doing business in such a poor manner specially when the two different sizes are marked and highlighted on the bottom of each shoes. I had made the complain to their customer care email id (customer.[protected]@bata.co.in) on 21st August and also called their customer care number[protected] several time, but no solution was provided. They even did not response to my email. Please help.
