i have purchased a bata shoe of Rs1500 a month back from BATA showroom @ Kesavadasapuram branch trivandrum.on the second day itself i have noticed damaged stiching.i have shown to that showroom and they immediately replaced that.so i have bought another shoe of Rs 2000.but unfortunately after 1 week the sole of the shoes got damaged.it got separated from shoes.i again shown to that bata showroom.but now they are telling that there are no rule to replace that shoes because i have already claimed and bought another shoes.now what should i do????please take immediate action for this my email id is [protected]@gmail.com and my ph no is [protected]

    Sir,
    Great to see your mail reply in time, and this is the third mail which I am writting to you, you are saying it is a damagae, how this type of damage can happen to a sandal, how can a stiching comes out and in 2nd sandal you can see extra threads are seen coming out of the sandal, I did not pull the thread out, thread did not come out from the damage,
    and for you kind information I am sendnig the photo of the Shoes which I purchased along with this sandal, in the same bill, you can see the back side conditions where gumming is opening in both the shoes, what is this, It is also a damagae, I am not at all asking any thing related to this shoes, but coming to sandals, it is infront portion and side portion which looks ugly.

    I am not at all agreeing to go for the repair of new sandals which is used for very less time, ok if it is above 6 months old I can consider for the repair.
    Kindly help me in this issue with good replay to my problem.

      I had purchased one BATA's shoes brand Hush Puppies from Reliance Footprint at Phoinex Market city on 22/6/13 amounting Rs. 2400 (appro), but said shoes get complete damage and in not wearing position handed over to Reliance Footprint, Phoinex Market city, mumbai on 5/10/13 vide their recip no. 286 for replacement.

      But no one from Bata or Reliance Footprint has so far made any replacement as assured at the time of taking shoes back. I am waiting for replacement.
      Bata India Ltd / Reliance Footprint, Phoenix Market City, Mumbai customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

        Dear sir, I had purchased an all weather footwear from Bata India outlet.When ever it gets wet emits a very strong and unbearable foul smell .The matter was referred to Bata India and instead of replacing the same they have offered a footwear of the same model by paying 75% of its cost which I have refused to accept. They have not replied to my mail inspite of a reminder. Copy of the correspondence is reproduced below: Dear Customer, Greetings for the day Thank you for being a valued customer of Bata. We appreciate your feedback and concerns highlighted to us. As per the information provided by, you as a special case we would be extending to you a 75% replacement for the product being held by you. Please note the following with respect to the replacement. 1. If the same product (article number / model) and size is available at the store we will provide you with the same product at 75% of the cost paid by you at the time of purchase. 2. If the same product (article/model) is not available in the store (due to non availability of same model, size, color, etc) you can avail the replacement (in this case also you will have to submit the damaged product to us) in value terms. It means that whatever value of the product was paid by you we will adjust 75% of the same value against your next purchase from the store. 3. Please note that there is no cash refund. 4. Damaged product has to be submitted to Bata for replacement – mandatory 5. THE ABOVE APPROVAL FOR 75% REPLACEMENT IS VALID TILL 05 October 2013.           Dear Customer care, Bata Pvt Ltd. I purchased a power brand shoe pair from Canaught place showroom of BATA on May 15th 2013 vide invoice number 15-05-13/1/[protected] worth INR 1999.00. I have found that the product purchased is of very poor quality and it started cracking on the upper part of shoe. Even, I am not wearing it frequently.             i purchased a power shoe article no 8338094 at a bata shoe store at Ernakulam, on reduction sale. After few days, when i wanted to wear it, i was noticed that it is not a pair at all. Both are same model but slightly different colours. when i went to a near by Bata store, i did not get replacement but advised to register on line complaint. I feel cheated.

              Hi, I made an order at bata.in on 21 July 2013 and the order no was 10146787 and there were 2 articles in the order. Fortunately, one of the articles got delivered in time and correctly, but the second article was completely different from what I had ordered. I had ordered clogs for my son and what I received was a pair of girls' sandals. I immediately called up their customer care on [protected] and explained them the error. The customer care asked me to take the photos of the received article and send them an email at their customer service email id alongwith the screenshot of the page of the article that I had ordered. I did as was requested and emailed them. I got no response from them after waiting for some more days. Then, again I called them up and they said the article will be reverese picked up by courier in 21 days from that day although I had called them up twice earlier. They also tell me that I can visit any of the bata store and return the article there and get the other one. I visit one of the Bata stores in Pimpri, Pune and they tell me that I need to get an approval letter from bata customer service to do the same. Then, even after 21 days, nothing happened. After calling them up again and again, the article was picked up on 27 Aug 2013. As per the courier company Blue Dart, the article has been delivered to bata on 29 Aug 2013. The AWB number for the shipment is [protected]. Now, whenever I call them up they say that they don't have any information available about the receipt of the article and they will call me back within 24 hrs/48 hrs but nothing happens. Now its been 1 month and 21 days and I still see so way to receive the article I had orderd. Looks like Bata doesn't have any process in place to track any of the complaints and the orders. I used to have a great faith in the quality of Bata footwears but past this incident I will never ever deal with bata and ask all my friends to stay AWAY from BATA. If there is any authority, I request them to help me get this sorted. Ruchi

                I bought a purse on 25/7/13 in the evening time between 5 to 6,30pm Marie Clair, camel color . Quality of the purse is so poor within 30 days it started cuting from the side and threads are coming out .i went to bata out let to show the condition of the purse . manager asked for the cash bill that i losted he suggested me this is customer care number please speak to them without bill we cant help you . on 25/8/13 complain login to customer care bata . After 5 days customer care department told me you will get replacement of 50 % .it is not a good experience one side you are showing if any manufacturing defact arise within 60 days you can change the product so i am not happy against 50 % replacement because i cant accept your product life is only within 30 days .my complain no is 83364. no body is helping me for 100 % replacement . please give the juctice

                  I bought my bata shoes from your borivali(w) store. I purchased power shoes worth 1599 and its code is 808-6872. i bought it approximately 2 12 months ago, due my trust on your company I did not kept the bill with me. I went to the showroom to complain about this but they told me to complain on this website. The sole pasting of shoes has come out and its no longer wearable. Please do the need full.

                    The reason I choosed Bata Product was i was looking for the durability & comfirt.

                    Problem Statement

                    1. Product Defect
                    The Product Get damaged within few days o[censored]se only, cracks have developed in the sole of a shoe.


                    Pictures of the same are attached with this email. If you closely Observe the Pictures attached , you will find the developement of the crack is from the top so there is no question of mis handling of the product while use.Its Cause of Poor Quality of Material/Manufacturing.


                    If this would have been multibrand store i would have no objection about store managers responce, but being company outlet was asking to register the complaint through net.With regret it is pointed out that more than one month has gone by after sending complaint regarding flop product of Bata slippers . Action for the same is still pending at your end. Please expedite action & mail the decision to me





                    There I spent around 35 Mins to register my complaint & getting complaint number. [That Poor Lady("Indu": As told by Executive) was not able to generate Customer Complaint Number as server was under maintainance: So After Wating for Long Time I got my Registered Complaint Number



                    After Investing so much of my time nothing has happened till date.



                    Kindly tell me what should i do?
                    Is there any way to get full compensation ?
                    KINDLY REPLACE D MY SLIPPERS




                    Please help me out.

                    Bata — Disgusting manufacturer

                    I have bought a pair of shoe that too of Bata BRand worth 1400/-. With in first two hours It strted showing the real worth of it. It started getting unstiched from the toe end and I realised that this is the junk which I have got. Bad luck to me and my choice of brand.First time I tried trusting on BATA but it disappointed.

                    Now my shoe is a junk piece which I cant wear for the 2nd time in my life. 1400/- in vain.. Dont know what should be done with it.

                      I am a regular customer of BATA for the last 20 years.I have not a single complain last these year but I have purchased a BATA shoes (Hush Puppy) 2 & 1/2 month before found a big hole underneath the soul and sole removed to shes.
                      i was really surprised is this the same company which i trusted for so long.I have not approached the dealer as of yet as i am out of station.But thought it is my duty to inform you about your quality.
                      If this is the quality you provide no doughy you can capture the market by opening a number of stores.but you wont be able to retain the customer and his faith in BATA.

                        Bata shoe company
                        I purchased the article 871-6136 from Bata shoe store, PaMDari, Raipur of Rs.1699.00 on 22MD May 2012. The article damage with in 10 days, I have reported this at show room, the manager agree and replace it after receiving the original invoice, but i have lost the invoice hence please instruct your manager to replace the article on basis of the record of showroom.

                          Hi,

                          I had purchased three foot wears from Bata Shoes in Bhangel, Noida on 12th June 2013. I made the payment by my debit card. The payment was deducted twice. The salesperson told me that it would get refunded back on the same day. I called up later in the day to inform that the payment was not refunded. I got a reply saying that it would get on the next day. I kept on calling them every day since but for one reason or another I get similar replies.

I given complaint to the customer care, they gave me a complaint no:[protected] on[protected]. If I tell the complaint no they just telling that it is under process… what I have to do?? Even they not ready to refund my amount. Bata online service is most terrible…. before buying any product from bata please read this complaint along with order id and complaint no..
                            No delvery against my order 10045323 about 40 days old. Courier traking no provided to me is wrong. Customer service centre unable to address the issue.

                              i had purchased a pair of footwear on 14th April 2013. after one week i noticed changes in colour and texture of the footwear followed by gradual peeling of the insoles. thus on 24th i took that back to the shop and told my complaint to the store manager. alas and there started the verbal abuse by the manager. he was using such bad words that i really burst to tears. without even considering that i am a woman he poured on such bad words. i kindly request the respected personnel to do whatever you can to protect womanhood and dignity of women and to teach them what is good customer interaction.

                              Reliance Footprints — Verbal Abuse

                              I had recently purchased a pair of Reebok sllipers from Realiance footprints in Gopalan Mall Bannergatta Road. The slippers had manufacturing defect and i went to the store the very next day. I was speaking to the Manager but he refused to take in any consideration/possibility for a manufacturing defect.When I requested him to atleast look into the matter and also told him that if there was no fault i would leave but then he became furious and started screaming.This had now reached its saturation level and i then asked him his name and told him to talk in an appropriate manner,he then verbally abused me and forced me to leave the store.

                                I have purchased a pair of all seaon shoes from Bata outlet located near Mulund East station in the first week of April.I purchased two pairs of sandals one worth Rs.299 and the other worth Rs. 799 .
                                I started using the the sandal costing Rs.799 just a few days back and on the third day o[censored]se the strap of the sandal came out.

                                I visited the BATA outlet requesting them to replace my shoe as i had used it only for 3 days.They are demanding for a bill which i have not retained. I asked them to search for a copy in their computer database from the barcode the shoe box has which i have .

                                The Bata person is ready to repair my shoe which I dont agree as I have used the shoes for only 3 days and I expect a shoe replacement.

                                  Call Center people do not have OUT GOING facility .(India's First Customer Care where they do not have Out Going Call facility for Customer.)Everything is moving round in BATA INDIA. Customer got confused and leave.This is not Indian Company who can not believe in After Sales Service.I had purchased one Hand Bag From BATA India. I purchased on 12th January 2013. I misplace bill.Withing purchased of 50days, ZIP BROCKED. I went and ask to shopkeeper they told me to contact customer call center. I contact and launched a complain on[protected]. After I launched complain they told me to wait 7 working days.After few days they did not reply me . I called on every two days and asked them what happens , they always answer same wait its under process.on[protected] I called and asked about complain they told me you will get reply withing tomorrow evening.On[protected] I called and ask what is status. One of Customer executive told me Sir send me your bank statement so we can help you.After 10 days they informed to send BANK Statement.I send them on same day[protected].On[protected] I got mail that sorry due to due date we can not help you.Is this my fault that they did not inform me and did not reply me?I called every 2 days in call center but they never reply.After argue with Mr. Sandeep Kumar till 15 minutes on[protected]. He told me we can not help you , do whatever you want we do not care.I told him to transfer any Senior Executive that time he told me Noone is here I am handling everything .

                                  After argue with him I again called I argue 15 minutes with ASHISH. Then he transfer call to AMIT . Amit told me sorry its our fault that we did not reply you . He again launched new complain and told me within 5 working days your complain got solved.After again few days I waited and got same mail that wee can help you. I called and argue with them andr eched to Mr. Shushul Kumar who told me that I am Senior .(I do not know these all names are Real Name Or Not) . He told me that within 2 days your complain will be resolve. And call me any time I will help you.After 2 days I called in call center and ask for Shushil Kumar the Executive VIjay put my call on hold for 20Minutes and phone got disconnected. Again I called and told Vijay He said no Senior Executive Available . All are in meetings tell me I will resolve your Problem.On Sunday[protected] Morning I got First call From BATA India at 10.30 a.m. [protected].She told methat store manager called you in 2 hours and you will get your problem solved. Till today I did not gotany call from BATA India.Again I called on[protected] they again launched new complain , they told me it will be resolve in 5working days.They never read your mail properly .they just reply you with complain number. I explain you how they wrote. Customer care executive do not know how to write proper name. My name is MIHIR and they reply with MEER.Till The date they are working on my Complains. They are Investigating on my Complain.The Great management of BATA INDIA. That they are working on 1 Complain from last 22 days but they can not find the solution to resolve it.

                                  (1) i am not receving the bill from past 2 to 3 month

                                  (2) i had given a complain to deactivate the blackberry service on 9 of june request no. [protected] and the service was deactivated from next day. as i went to pay the bill i got notice that vodafone has added around rs 2700 in my billing made from june and july.

                                  (3) and i had given many complian requarding it but i am not getting the response from them.

                                    Hi,

                                    I have purchased one shoe from BATA INDIA,
                                    SHOP NO.15 & 16, LEVEL II GROUND FLOOR SHIPRA MALL,INDIRAPURAM GHAZIABAD UTTAR PRADESH

                                    Shoe got damaged in 2 months with pasting problem.

                                    When I report this same to the company they refuse to replace the same.

                                    I do not see any reason for not replacing the same.

                                    Even I reported the same to the company toll free customer care with all details they again asking me to go to the same shop for repair.

                                    The print out of the bill was faded (all most about to be blank ) and shop keeper was not helping me.
                                    I told the bill no and date then i requested for a duplicate bill for the same still shop keeper did not give me and harassed me a lot.

                                    If this is the service of Bata where should we go?

                                    I want to ask the MD of Bata that is this that the policy of BATA and do BATA look for the customer satisfaction???

                                    Looking of an solution for this.

                                      Dear Sirs,

                                      I have purchased a pair of Bata Shoes on 28th October 2012 vide cash memo number 28-10-12/1/0093 from Bata Shoes, 13, Ashoka Super Market, S.V.Road, Goregaon(West), Mumbai - 400062.

                                      Today, to my utter surprise I observed that there was a crack in sole of both the shoes. I am not aware when this could have happened as generally you don't anticipate any problem with your newly purchased shoes. Moreover, my work profile is mainly a desk job and I travel to office and return back to home in CAR. So actual wear and tear is very very minimal. Immediately I looked for the purchase bill and again to my surprise, on the reverse side of the bill, it was printed that warranty is valid only for 2 months.

                                      Is that mean Bata standards are so low now (which supposed to be very high in earlier times) that company have to keep warranty only for 2 months and not even for 6 months. It could also mean that company also do anticipates that there could be chances of some manufacturing defects cropping up after 2 months and company can escape from the liability by showing the warranty validating period.

                                      It is a big shock for me and plan to visit the store in this week for lodging formal complaint with Bata Stores and will keep you posted on the outcome.

                                      Request you to please take up the issue with the company for improvement in the quality standards thereby improving the customer satisfaction because customer lost once, means virtually lost for ever.

                                        I HAVE PURCHASED A PAIR OF BATA SHOES FROM M/S.BATA INDIA LIMITED MILINDA'S MANOR 2.R.N.T. MARG INDORE ON 29TH NOVEMBER 2012.
                                        I HAVE MADE THE PAYMENT OF RS.999 THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD AND WITHIN TWO AND HALF MONTHS MY SHOES WAS CRACKED.HOWEVER I WENT TO BATA SHOP AND SHOWN THE SHOES AND THEY HAVE PROVIDED ME THIER CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER AND I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD DISCUSS THE SAME WITH THEM.
                                        HOWEVER TODAY I HAVE RECEIVED A MAIL FROM BATA INDIA LIMITED IN WHICH THEY HAVE MENTIONED THAT IT WAS NOT THE MANUFACTURER'S FAULT AND IT WAS HAPPENED INCEDENTLY BY ME ONLY AND THEY WERE NOT READY TO REPLACE THE SHOES.
