Very bad service from bata will never ever use their buy online facility ever in my lifetime. Suggest all consumers to avoid this site unless Bata mend the way they operate. You will go through hell if you place an order from Bata online. I purchased a shoe on 6th sept and till today 20th sept I am yet to receive the same it is the 14th day I am waiting to wear the shoe. This service SUCKS Shame on you Bata India Ltd

    sir,

    I have purchased pair of shoes from Bata showroom, Nr.Kisor Plaza Station Road, Anand.on 13/05/2011 after five month my shoes lether damage. i am going to showroom for repair the same on 17/09/2011 he tell me that your shoes compliete by company & get back it on monday 19/09/2011 but the problem was not solve by company & get back it to me with same problem & telling there staff me that it's not done by us. so you wear the same shoes with same problem.kindly request you to take necrery step in the matter .

      I HAVE PURCHASED THE BATA SHOE ON 17th April 2011,WITH IN THE 3 MONTHS THIS SHOE MID OF BOTTOM PART STARTED BROKE NOW AND VISITED THE BATA SHOW ROOM ABOUT THE COMPLAIN, THAT HE WAS TELLING THE LIFE OF BATA SHOES ONLY 2 MONTH SO THAT WILL PROVIDE YOU ONLY 60 DAYS OF WARRANTY AFTER THE 61 DAYS WILL NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE WILL ACCRUED.


      MY QUESTIONS:-
      IF QUALITY WORK ONLY 60 DAYS ? THERE IS NO USED FOR GOING BATA PRODUCT. ITS VERY MUCH BETTER TO BUY ANY LOCAL PRODUCT WHICH EASILY WORK MINIMUM OF 6MONTH.

      MY HUMBLE REQUEST TO BATA DON'T MANUFACTURE THIS KIND OF WORST USELESS PRODUCT, WHICH SPOIL YOUR NAME AND MARKET VALUE, THIS IS MY SECOND BAD EXPERIENCE WITH BATA CO.

      AS PER MY RATING OF THIS SHOE I WILL GIVE YOU ONE OF THE LAST RATED SHOES IN THE INDIAN MARKET.

      DEAR BATA TEAM, PLS SUGGEST ME IF I AM WRONG ON THIS......

        I am using your product from last 34 years i.e. from my childhood,even my father is also using it from last 50 years so that i selected the same product for my child who is 9 years old and using your product Naughty boy school shoes from last 6 years .I have never seen such type of thing in your product which i faced this time.I purchased one school shoe for my son in August first week from your store at B K market,16A s p Sarani Kolkata 700071.Although there was one mistake on my side that I lost the bill but the shopkeeper knows me as we purchae bata shoes for our Compay named Kesoram Rayon A B .K.Birla group Of Companies.The shoe worn out after 10 days but as it is compulsory for my son to wear black shoes in school i got it repaired by a cobler in our society immediately.But after 2-3 days the stitch opened again.As it is compulsory in school to wear black shoes I purchased one another shoe from the same shop on 03 09 11 vide your invoice no.0015 and gave the old one to the manager of the shopp Yesterday when i went yo the shop the manager told that as you have got titched the shoes with the cobbler I anm helpless and cannot do any thing.I felt very bad that a company like you showing such a disgrace ful nature.iI told him that how can i be sent you the shoes the same day it worn out as it is important for my son to wear black shoe in school.So i hope you may think some methods to improve your service particularly for school children.

            I have received the below mail of yours as a solution to my complaint.
            My complaint was that the Sole of the Bata shoe Model no :[protected] which I purchased on the evening of 31.01.2012.Within 2 months from the purchase of the shoes, the sole of both the shoes was badly damaged. The hill of the shoe has developed cracks on both the sides. The material on the inner side of the shoe sole is of a very inferior quality it has disintegrated & is discomforting the feet.The sole pasting of the shoe is on the verge of splitting. Overall the complete quality of the shoe is pathetic & needs a lot of improvement. When this was brought to the notice of your customer care executive he assured me of a satisfactory solution but after 2 days I get a solution to Buy another shoe at 75 % cost. This is highly unacceptable. I would have been happy even if you would have offered for a sole replacement. But I was asked to spend 75 % from my pocket for the second time for a product which is not at all upto the standards. It is highly disappointing for the Brand like Bata to offer such a downgraded product & service. I am highly unsatisfied & would wish this matter to be escalated to the Topmost officer concerned.
            In any case I would not be going to the shop to buy another product of yours at the 25% discounted price. Please use the discount for someone needy. In case you wish to see the images of the damaged sole I can Email them in case you dont believe my words.
            If such a degraded service is continued at your end the brand value will only degrade. Hope that you take the corrective measures in time.

              I bought a pair of bellies from Bata (Shalimar Bagh) for Rs. 1200 dated 24th April 2011. My bellies broke after only one time wear. I complained to the showroom manager and he explained 'He cannot help' as I dnt have the bill details. and why should I have it anyway when I am paying for quality... Should i keep the bill for if it breaks down?

              The billing details can however be confirmed form the showroom. I am shocked... Bata supplying such cheap quality footwear. I want a compensation for the same at the earliest.

                I bought 3 pairs of new shoes from Bata store on Bannerghatta road in Bangalore on 12/6/11. The invoice value was Rs. 2997. After 50 days both the soles of the leather shoe came off. I took it to the showroom on 7th August,11 and the showroom manager told me to get the bill for rectification. As i didn't have the bill, he told me to bring the creidt card statement in lieu of same. I showed them the credit card statement on 9/8/11 . After looking at the card statement, they refused to give me new pair of shoes and told me that they can offer 75% of the bill amount. I told them that they only said that if there is damage to shoes within 60 days, Bata will replace the same. Not only this the store sales person Mr. Darshan misbehaved with me .The sales boy Mr. Darshan didn's even allowed me to meet the store manager Mr. Muthaapa . He refused to give me contact number of store manager or senior person in the store. He told me to do whatever i can but he will not replace the shoe or give me contact number of any senior person. I was surprised to know that even though there is a policy of resolving customer issue within 60 days of invoice the sales person at Bata showroom refused to cooperate.I am a BATA customer from a long time . I am so disturbed that company like BATA will treat the customer compliant at the showroom in such a manner.I don't have a bill but i have the credit card statement showing my purchase on 12/6/11. My shoe number mentioned on the shoe is 8516387. I look forward to your support and response.

                  Hi All,
                  I have purchased Weinbrenner shoe with article no-8713673 size no 6,SI.NO-03601/1577 on date 12/02/2011 from bata shoe store c-18,Lajpat Nagar-II new delhi-110024.
                  but after aprox three month it get damged and same screen shot has been attached of present postion of shoe.
                  I am very surprsied for this Weinbrenner brand of bata,how to any costly shoe damged within year.

                  I am regular customer of bata,this thing happend first time with me.I have already emailed from my id i.e [protected]@gmail.com on email id customer.[protected]@bata.co.in on date Sun, Jul 17, 2011 at 6:03 PM and again send
                  gentle reminder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... but till now i have not got any email from bata india...

                    I am very disapponted with Bata services, as I ordered a online purse which was defected, I complained for this , they have take my bag back but no new purse has been delievered till now, I have ordered this item in first week of june, and
                    now its more than 1 month that a person has pick up the defected bag,

                    I have tried a lot of time at the Bata toll free number but no body is responding, last to last week they said I will receive this in next 2days but now its 7 days. My complain number is[protected].

                    now I am chasing bata store by their help desk number, they always assured me that they will call in next one our but I did not get any call.

                      I purchased a shoe (Make: Global Step) from Reliance Footprint in Bhubaneswar on 10th July 2011 worth Rs 1100, the same got torn barely after wearing for five times, when I wen to the shop to return the same on 31st July, they simply said that they will repair the damage by pasting and refused to replace the same with a new one. The shop is selling cheap products during its SALE period and duping customers.

                      I purchased a formal sandal (Make: Catwalk) from Reliance Footprint at CMR Central, Visakhapatnam on 4th April 2011 worth Rs 750, the same got torn barely after wearing for few times, when I went to the shop to return the same on 15th AUG, they simply said that they will repair the damage by pasting and refused to replace the same with a new one.                           Hi,
                          I brought a shoes in bata 24-July-2011 sunday. Actual price of the shoe was 3199. they have done two transactions on my card. one for 319 and another one for 3199. If i had not received the sms from icici bank about two transactions i would have lost my money. I called up bata and checked that they now agree that by mistake they have swiped it... if i had not gone back and checked with them.. i would have lost my money...
                          I want to teach them a lesson ... that they need to be very cautions..let me know what i can do to them...

                            Why Reliance is not Working and Doing well as Company????

                            There is sale going on in Reliance Footprint. I have chosen pair of footwear and tried it and when I have asked them to pack it, the other salesman came and said, we have kept it a side for Customer who had come yesterday...Customer has not paid for that. If you ask store people they will keep 5 Pair of shoes for you a side without any payment for 15 days During Sale also...whether you come and buy it after few days or not its not their look out. First time found this Policy in any good Chain of Store..

                            How can they keep stuff without payment and not sold to customer after trial...???

                            I BOUGHT A PRODUCT AT RELIANCE FOOTPRINT FOR 500 RUPEES WHICH I FOUND WAS SOLD AT 300 RUPEES AT OTHER SHOPS IN SAME BRAND SAME PRODUCT.
                            RELIANCE CHEATED WITH HIGHER PRICE TAG AND DOESNOT VALUE CUSTOMERS .
                            WHEN APPROACHED THEY LIE THAT THEY HAVE REDUCED THE PRICE ON IT BUT IN REALITY HAVE NOT REDUCED.
                            THEY DONOT GIVE THE CUSTOMER A PRICE MATCH OR DO THEY ACCEPT AN EXCHANGE OF THE SAME.
                            I WAS REALLY FOOLED BY PAYING MORE MONEY AND ALSO BRANDED FOOL BY THE STORE MANAGERS.
                            THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARE WAS WORST
                            THEY ARE MAKING FUN OF THE CUSTOMER.
                            Hi,

                            I been a regular at the Reliance footprint store and this is the first time ever I went in for an exchange of a shoe bought at the Indiranagar store. The store Manager - "Dalbir Singh" firstly spoke very rudely to me and then walked off stating he would not exchange the shoe. He made me wait for 2 full hours and then sent in his junior to reiterate the same thing and follow his instructions.

                            I am extremely disappointed by the inappropriate behavior of the store manager and denying an exchange without a agreeable reason.

                            Reliance footPrint is cheating...
                            I have purchased two pairs of sandals in Aug 2012 of Global step. I have hardly used one pair from that, outer layer is scaling and sollen also.
                            When I went to your showroom near jayadev Vihar, the sales manager is blaming me saying that it is due to the usage and not manufature defect.
                            Can your area manager look into this please?

                              The bag is not good quality...it start damaging.

                              Hi,

                              I have purchased BATA Maire Claire bag last month from jammu residency road bata.
                              The bag is not good quality...it is tearing and the leather is not good it peeling off.

                              Please help as I need to get that replaced.I dont have the cash memo of this product but i have the memo of the other purchased along with this.
                              we been to the shop from where we have purchased it they have asked us to file a complaint online.

                                This is in regards with the pair of shoes purchased at your store, I purchased it in the month of August 2010, but hadn't worn it until this year 2011 February & within the short period of time that is 2 months the sole of one shoe has split,(refer photograph attached) I did take it to the store where I bought it from but the Store Manager & the staff is unable to help me regarding an exchange, I do find this very disturbing as I am a regular customer for a very very long time & I seldom complained about the quality because Bata quality has been very satisfying for me and my family. I hope that you will be able to help me with my genuine issue as I have faith in your customer (complaint) service & product.

                                In spite of facing disappointing response at your store, I have still made subsequent purchases even today,

                                They attitude is not worth as there shoes!!!
                                This is to bring to your notice that I am a resident of Hyderabad and during my recent visit to Kolkata, I had purchased a pair of Bata Shoes on 06.08.2011 from Bata India Limited, DC 25/26 Salt Lake City, Sector I, Kolkata, but unfortunately within 15 days after buying, I found that the pasting of the Sole (Right Hand Side Pair) is coming out and also in the same pair, some pieces of Rubber (Polymer) are coming out from the rear end of the Sole.
                                I have registered a complaint with the BATA Customer Care helpline number[protected] on 25.08.2011 and I was told that within seven (7) working days I will receive an email from BATA Customer Care informing me about the BATA Store near my residence in Hyderabad from where I may exchange the defective pair of shoes with a new (non-defective) pair.
                                Till today (08.09.2011) I have not received any communication from BATA, in spite of repeated calls (on 07.09.2011 and 08.09.2011) to their customer care helpline number.

                                  I purchased a FILA flotter worth Rs 1600 from reliance footprint kormangala.. and within a month it was broken .. I went for exchange and bought again a Flotter and another Inc.5 foot wear worth Rs 800.Its not even a month and I see the sole is broken.

                                  Is this the quality of products they offer.. or Is it that company link Reliance buy a second qu
                                  ality product and keep it for sale...

                                  It feels pathetic when you pay so much and buy a product from a trusted source doesnot even last for the warranty period they offer.

                                  Please look into the quality of products before offering for sale.

                                  I have same issue with Dock n Mark. The company has made a brand of itself but never care to listen to customer complaint. I bought a sandal for Rs.1800 (Model-221, BK7) for company dealer in Thrissur, Kerala. The sole came off in just 7 months and that too I have not used it more than 20 times. The quality of sould material is soft to give cushioning to leg but it fail to support the weight it can take while walking. The company say they provide warranty only for 2 months after which the company is not liable.. I am going to call up the cochin office to see if they can do anything.. A long run just for a sandal when you have more things to take after!!!
                                  I have the same complaint with my Fila sports shoe.
                                  Its grip under the shoe is broken before a moth.
                                  I have bought it from the reliance footprint at oberon mall Cochin.
                                  i had purchased ganuchi shoes worh Rs 2200 from reliance footprints meerut garh road.after wearing for once i realized the soul is broken..when i go there they said they cant help..i think reliance are making fool of customers

                                    I WAS PURCHASE BATA SHOES OF RS. 1500/- FROM YOUR PREET VIHAR CENTRE BEFORE ONE MONTH BUT THE QUALITY OF SHOES WAS SO POOR THAT THE SHOES DAMAGED WITHIN THE GIVEN EXPIRY PERIOD. THE SOLE OF THE SHOES IS TOTALLY BROKEN. THE SALESMAN WAS NOT READY TO REPLACE BECAUSE I HAVE LOST THE BILL BUT I HAVE THE PROOF OF CREDIT CARD STATEMENT. FIFTEEN DAYS COMPLETING THE COMPLAINT BUT NO RESPONCE IS GIVEN TO ME.

                                    IS THIS IS THE SERVICE OF THE WORLD FAMOUS COMPANY "BATA"? THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT SATISFACTORY. I WANT TO REPLACE THE SHOES AND IF YOU HAVE ANY PROCEDURE TO REPLACE THE MONEY PLEASE TELL ME.

                                    Sir,

                                    I am a regular customers of Bata and always appreciated the quality and price of Bata products. Two months before I bought a pair of shoes from Bata showroom, Mount Road, Chennai opp. to richi street for Rs.1299/-. My shoe leather removed from many sides and the sole tear off from downbelow. I approached the showroom manager and informed him about the condition of the leather shoes. He immediately raised his voice and started shouting saying that non of the bata show rooms sell leather shoes and informed that the pair of shoes cannot be replaced but will be given only 25% of the amount ie Rs.324/- if the shoe is returned back to bata.

                                    Action may please be taken to replace my shoes.

                                      Sir,

                                      I am currently residing at Bangalore,India.I bought a sleeper worth rupees 299 from BATA India Limited,BATA SHOE STORE,P6 9th Main,3rd Block , Jayanagar,Bangalore on April 8,2011.

                                      I was told that the sleeper will be serviced for free or replaced if sole gets removed or some similar defects occur within two months.

                                      My sleeper sole got removed within one and a half month.I went back to the shop with the bill and sleeper to get it serviced.But the Manager of the shop refused to do so.

                                      I am very disappointed with the manager's reply .So, I am attaching the bill to this mail.

                                      The bill number is CASH MEMO # : 08-04-11/ 1/ 0175 01015.
                                      The product name is PUMMY T.

                                      Kindly help me to get this issue resolved.

                                        After a long one month follow-up with Bata Customer care team, i would like to submit my complaint via this forum.
                                        ________________________________________________________________________________...
                                        Scenario: I have been rigrously following-up with Bata customer care for a defective pair of shoes, since past one month over calls and emails.

                                        I submitted my first complaint via phone call with Mr. Ataur (customer care executive) on 17th April'11.
                                        The complaint number is :[protected].

                                        The concerns which i have faced with the shoes from the time i have purchased (january'11) are listed below.

                                        Concerns:

                                        There has been repetitive problems with pasting and the shoe has got tethered from multiple corners.
                                        I submitted my first complaint to the retailer within first 4-5 weeks of my shoe purchase. The complaint was regarding the pasting which had broken from some corners of both shoes. The retailer got it repaired and i started using the shoes again. The leadtime for shoe repair was around4-5 days.
                                        I submitted my second complaint to the retailer again regarding the pasting which had broken from some other corners this time. This complaint was submitted just after 3 weeks of my first complaint. The retailer got the shoe repaired again and i started using them. the lead time for repair was around 4-5 days.
                                        Now again after 4 weeks, i am facing another concern, this time the pasting has gone out from the front side of right shoe and from one of the corners in second shoe. One of the shoe has also got a crack on the sole. This time the shoes are in real bad shape.

                                        This is to bring into your notice that the BATA shoes i purchased are now in real bad shape in just a few months time. We are a regular BATA shoes customer and have purchased alot of your products in past but never faced such issues.

                                        It looks like that there is something terribly wrong with this pair of shoes and the quality is real bad. Please understand, that this is causing me a great amount of inconvenience and time wastage.

                                        This is also not good from the point of view of BATA's brand image.

                                        Therefore, i request you to please look into this matter and get me replaced this pair of shoes with another pair which should be reliable and good quality product. I do not want to face such issues again and again every few weeks time and let my work life be affected by it.
