Respected Sir,

I purchased Bata shoes from Bata India Ltd,Bata shoes Store(556/02292),G-7,Metro junction Mall,Netivali Kalyan (E),pin-421301, Phone no[protected] dated[protected].
But after two month my shoes has been damaged and not in good conditon. When i went to shop retailer and show him my shoe's conditon then he told me the shoes is not repairable and replacemest of shoes after you mail to the company.

I request you to pls solve this issue and replace my shoes as early as possible.

    Hi,
    I brought a shoes in bata 24-July-2011 sunday. Actual price of the shoe was 3199. they have done two transactions on my card. one for 319 and another one for 3199. If i had not received the sms from icici bank about two transactions i would have lost my money. I called up bata and checked that they now agree that by mistake they have swiped it... if i had not gone back and checked with them.. i would have lost my money...
    I want to teach them a lesson ... that they need to be very cautions..let me know what i can do to them...

      Why Reliance is not Working and Doing well as Company????

      There is sale going on in Reliance Footprint. I have chosen pair of footwear and tried it and when I have asked them to pack it, the other salesman came and said, we have kept it a side for Customer who had come yesterday...Customer has not paid for that. If you ask store people they will keep 5 Pair of shoes for you a side without any payment for 15 days During Sale also...whether you come and buy it after few days or not its not their look out. First time found this Policy in any good Chain of Store..

      How can they keep stuff without payment and not sold to customer after trial...???

      I BOUGHT A PRODUCT AT RELIANCE FOOTPRINT FOR 500 RUPEES WHICH I FOUND WAS SOLD AT 300 RUPEES AT OTHER SHOPS IN SAME BRAND SAME PRODUCT.
      RELIANCE CHEATED WITH HIGHER PRICE TAG AND DOESNOT VALUE CUSTOMERS .
      WHEN APPROACHED THEY LIE THAT THEY HAVE REDUCED THE PRICE ON IT BUT IN REALITY HAVE NOT REDUCED.
      THEY DONOT GIVE THE CUSTOMER A PRICE MATCH OR DO THEY ACCEPT AN EXCHANGE OF THE SAME.
      I WAS REALLY FOOLED BY PAYING MORE MONEY AND ALSO BRANDED FOOL BY THE STORE MANAGERS.
      THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARE WAS WORST
      THEY ARE MAKING FUN OF THE CUSTOMER.
      Hi,

      I been a regular at the Reliance footprint store and this is the first time ever I went in for an exchange of a shoe bought at the Indiranagar store. The store Manager - "Dalbir Singh" firstly spoke very rudely to me and then walked off stating he would not exchange the shoe. He made me wait for 2 full hours and then sent in his junior to reiterate the same thing and follow his instructions.

      I am extremely disappointed by the inappropriate behavior of the store manager and denying an exchange without a agreeable reason.

      Reliance footPrint is cheating...
      I have purchased two pairs of sandals in Aug 2012 of Global step. I have hardly used one pair from that, outer layer is scaling and sollen also.
      When I went to your showroom near jayadev Vihar, the sales manager is blaming me saying that it is due to the usage and not manufature defect.
      Can your area manager look into this please?

        Hi,

        I have purchased BATA marie claire bag last month from Dwarka Sector 7 Dwarka.
        The bag is not good quality...it start damaging.

        Please help as I need to get that replaced.I have lost my bill as I did not thought BATA provides such kind of stuff ever.

        Hi,

        I have purchased BATA Maire Claire bag last month from jammu residency road bata.
        The bag is not good quality...it is tearing and the leather is not good it peeling off.

        Please help as I need to get that replaced.I dont have the cash memo of this product but i have the memo of the other purchased along with this.
        we been to the shop from where we have purchased it they have asked us to file a complaint online.

          This is in regards with the pair of shoes purchased at your store, I purchased it in the month of August 2010, but hadn't worn it until this year 2011 February & within the short period of time that is 2 months the sole of one shoe has split,(refer photograph attached) I did take it to the store where I bought it from but the Store Manager & the staff is unable to help me regarding an exchange, I do find this very disturbing as I am a regular customer for a very very long time & I seldom complained about the quality because Bata quality has been very satisfying for me and my family. I hope that you will be able to help me with my genuine issue as I have faith in your customer (complaint) service & product.

          In spite of facing disappointing response at your store, I have still made subsequent purchases even today,

          They attitude is not worth as there shoes!!!
          This is to bring to your notice that I am a resident of Hyderabad and during my recent visit to Kolkata, I had purchased a pair of Bata Shoes on 06.08.2011 from Bata India Limited, DC 25/26 Salt Lake City, Sector I, Kolkata, but unfortunately within 15 days after buying, I found that the pasting of the Sole (Right Hand Side Pair) is coming out and also in the same pair, some pieces of Rubber (Polymer) are coming out from the rear end of the Sole.
          I have registered a complaint with the BATA Customer Care helpline number[protected] on 25.08.2011 and I was told that within seven (7) working days I will receive an email from BATA Customer Care informing me about the BATA Store near my residence in Hyderabad from where I may exchange the defective pair of shoes with a new (non-defective) pair.
          Till today (08.09.2011) I have not received any communication from BATA, in spite of repeated calls (on 07.09.2011 and 08.09.2011) to their customer care helpline number.

            I purchased a FILA flotter worth Rs 1600 from reliance footprint kormangala.. and within a month it was broken .. I went for exchange and bought again a Flotter and another Inc.5 foot wear worth Rs 800.Its not even a month and I see the sole is broken.

            Is this the quality of products they offer.. or Is it that company link Reliance buy a second qu
            ality product and keep it for sale...

            It feels pathetic when you pay so much and buy a product from a trusted source doesnot even last for the warranty period they offer.

            Please look into the quality of products before offering for sale.

            I have same issue with Dock n Mark. The company has made a brand of itself but never care to listen to customer complaint. I bought a sandal for Rs.1800 (Model-221, BK7) for company dealer in Thrissur, Kerala. The sole came off in just 7 months and that too I have not used it more than 20 times. The quality of sould material is soft to give cushioning to leg but it fail to support the weight it can take while walking. The company say they provide warranty only for 2 months after which the company is not liable.. I am going to call up the cochin office to see if they can do anything.. A long run just for a sandal when you have more things to take after!!!
            I have the same complaint with my Fila sports shoe.
            Its grip under the shoe is broken before a moth.
            I have bought it from the reliance footprint at oberon mall Cochin.
            i had purchased ganuchi shoes worh Rs 2200 from reliance footprints meerut garh road.after wearing for once i realized the soul is broken..when i go there they said they cant help..i think reliance are making fool of customers

              I WAS PURCHASE BATA SHOES OF RS. 1500/- FROM YOUR PREET VIHAR CENTRE BEFORE ONE MONTH BUT THE QUALITY OF SHOES WAS SO POOR THAT THE SHOES DAMAGED WITHIN THE GIVEN EXPIRY PERIOD. THE SOLE OF THE SHOES IS TOTALLY BROKEN. THE SALESMAN WAS NOT READY TO REPLACE BECAUSE I HAVE LOST THE BILL BUT I HAVE THE PROOF OF CREDIT CARD STATEMENT. FIFTEEN DAYS COMPLETING THE COMPLAINT BUT NO RESPONCE IS GIVEN TO ME.

              IS THIS IS THE SERVICE OF THE WORLD FAMOUS COMPANY "BATA"? THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT SATISFACTORY. I WANT TO REPLACE THE SHOES AND IF YOU HAVE ANY PROCEDURE TO REPLACE THE MONEY PLEASE TELL ME.

              Sir,

              I am a regular customers of Bata and always appreciated the quality and price of Bata products. Two months before I bought a pair of shoes from Bata showroom, Mount Road, Chennai opp. to richi street for Rs.1299/-. My shoe leather removed from many sides and the sole tear off from downbelow. I approached the showroom manager and informed him about the condition of the leather shoes. He immediately raised his voice and started shouting saying that non of the bata show rooms sell leather shoes and informed that the pair of shoes cannot be replaced but will be given only 25% of the amount ie Rs.324/- if the shoe is returned back to bata.

              Action may please be taken to replace my shoes.

                Sir,

                I am currently residing at Bangalore,India.I bought a sleeper worth rupees 299 from BATA India Limited,BATA SHOE STORE,P6 9th Main,3rd Block , Jayanagar,Bangalore on April 8,2011.

                I was told that the sleeper will be serviced for free or replaced if sole gets removed or some similar defects occur within two months.

                My sleeper sole got removed within one and a half month.I went back to the shop with the bill and sleeper to get it serviced.But the Manager of the shop refused to do so.

                I am very disappointed with the manager's reply .So, I am attaching the bill to this mail.

                The product name is PUMMY T.

                Kindly help me to get this issue resolved.

                  After a long one month follow-up with Bata Customer care team, i would like to submit my complaint via this forum.
                  ________________________________________________________________________________...
                  Scenario: I have been rigrously following-up with Bata customer care for a defective pair of shoes, since past one month over calls and emails.

                  I submitted my first complaint via phone call with Mr. Ataur (customer care executive) on 17th April'11.
                  The complaint number is :[protected].

                  The concerns which i have faced with the shoes from the time i have purchased (january'11) are listed below.

                  Concerns:

                  There has been repetitive problems with pasting and the shoe has got tethered from multiple corners.
                  I submitted my first complaint to the retailer within first 4-5 weeks of my shoe purchase. The complaint was regarding the pasting which had broken from some corners of both shoes. The retailer got it repaired and i started using the shoes again. The leadtime for shoe repair was around4-5 days.
                  I submitted my second complaint to the retailer again regarding the pasting which had broken from some other corners this time. This complaint was submitted just after 3 weeks of my first complaint. The retailer got the shoe repaired again and i started using them. the lead time for repair was around 4-5 days.
                  Now again after 4 weeks, i am facing another concern, this time the pasting has gone out from the front side of right shoe and from one of the corners in second shoe. One of the shoe has also got a crack on the sole. This time the shoes are in real bad shape.

                  This is to bring into your notice that the BATA shoes i purchased are now in real bad shape in just a few months time. We are a regular BATA shoes customer and have purchased alot of your products in past but never faced such issues.

                  It looks like that there is something terribly wrong with this pair of shoes and the quality is real bad. Please understand, that this is causing me a great amount of inconvenience and time wastage.

                  This is also not good from the point of view of BATA's brand image.

                  Therefore, i request you to please look into this matter and get me replaced this pair of shoes with another pair which should be reliable and good quality product. I do not want to face such issues again and again every few weeks time and let my work life be affected by it.

                    And also refer my family & friends to purchase the same brand because this
                    is the cheapest & worth for our hard earned money.

                    But recently I was very disappointed & annoyed by the product i received
                    from Secter-5 store at Airoli.

                    Then he kept for a week & gave back the shoes that now you would no
                    complaints about the same.

                    But the next day again the shoe leather was detached with the sole,

                    This was very disappointing for me, I again took the shoe to the vendor.

                    I would request you to check if this is a original shoe or a duplicate one.

                      from Bata showroom Tower freegunj Ujjain i purchased a pair of shoes and pay Rs.700.00 . Showroom in charge give me the replacement guaranty if any defect found.

                        I am a regular user of Bata shoes. I have purchased a shoes from the showroom of Malegaon Dis-Nashik Maharastra after paying Rs.699 since date 31/1/2011. Shoes’ sole has found cracksin horizontical direction.
                        S.L no. of the shoe is 861-6801. The shoe is damaged because of the inferior quality.
                        Since I have paid Rs.699 I could not use recently. Action may kindly be taken to cure my damage. Since I have good faith in Bata products, I never kept the invoice which is irrecoverably lost.otherwise i give a complaint to Grakh Seva Kendra

                        I am a regular user of Bata shoes. I have purchased a pair of shoes from the showroom of Thevara,Ernakulam after paying Rs.1100 under a discount scheme hardly one month back. Shoes’ sole has stud like fittings .One the stud was lost and the sole worn out.

                        I'm a regular user of Bata products. I've purchased a pair of slippers from Bata showroom in Puducherry on 30th december 2010. Unfortunately the very next week itself the slippers got tored. On 8th of january I got a new pair of slippers in exchange of the old one. The new pair of slipper which I purchased on 8th january was uncomfortable for me to wear. So, on 9th january I went to the showroom to tell about the problem. But, they did not response properly. I request you to take an effective action soon.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER BILLING I REALISED THAT THE SIZE IS SMALLER THAN ONE WHICH I WISHED TO HAVE SO I REQUESTED THAT THE PURCHASE BE CANCELLED. I WAS GIVEN TO UNDERSTAND THAT ONCE THE BILLING HAS BEEN DONE IT CANNOT BE CANCELLED AND THAT I HAD TO EITHER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM IN LIEU OR ELSE TAKE THE WALLET.                             There wont be, because there are none.

                            I placed an order and waited for more than 2 to 3 weeks still no one dispatched my order or even cared to acknowledge my calls or mails.

                            Site went down for a day on 18th april 2011, after that the stupid customer care fraudulent number[protected] rings rings rings till next christmas.

                            Please do needfull as i am in need or the product or my money back or else i will reach to all major newspapers editors to take this issue in public and then the matter to consumer forum.

                              Request you to note that i had purchased Hush puppies from Bata Store around 2 years back (model 854-6108 H/P; Size 8); post which i had kept it in my drawer for a while. However, to my horror, when I took them out around a week back, the sole of the shoe has cracked within a week of my wearing.

                              Kindly note that I have been a regular user of your company's products since my childhood, and this event has been very dissapointing experience.

                              Request you to get the shoes either replaced/amount refunded.

                              bata shoes — Cracked shoes

                              I purchased a shoes on 27/3/2010. But after 25 days it has cracked.when i contacted to shop man. they offer me only 75% compensation.But i refused to accept it.Why should i pay for their mistake.
                              Kindly tell me what should i do?

                                I am a dedicated Bata customer. I bought a Bata shoe worth Rs.899 last November dated[protected].I used it for around 1 month and i saw its upper material getting damaged. So i consulted your showroom and got to know that it is an usual case for such type of shoes.I know the warranty is only up to 2 months i got a message that if i have any further complaints get the shoe to showroom later even after the warranty period is over. Now the damage is of such a kind that iam not able to use it. So i humbly request you to grant me replacement for my shoe.

                                  I wanted to exchange the shows i bought the previous day as I did not notice the north star logo at the time of purchase. The staff at Bata store, jayanagar 3rd block bangalore was rude, had no value for my time and refused to exchange or refund the money. All this, when the shoe had not even been taken out of the box. They asked me to wait for one hour till the store manager came which i did. The store manager was extremely rude and threatened me to go and complain if i wanted to and that he did not care. Now, im stuck with shoes i dont want and certainly do not want to go back to that store again.

                                    At the time of purchase the person who is working in the store he told us shoes have warranty.
                                    We have full faith in the name BATA SHOES & the person who is working with Bata he is the part of Bata so we don’t ask him it in writing & when we have purchased shoes we are in so much hurry because we want to go to railway station as on 08/02/11 for (Goa Express)
                                    On second day i.e.09/02/11 my wife Mrs. Bhavana use the shoes first time and within 1 to 2 hours we came to know that there is fault in steaching of shoes so we keep it separately in the shoe box. We come from Goa on 13/02/2011
                                    As on 15/02/11 we go to Footworld shop and meet to the person who sold us the shoes we tell him that there is fault in shoes steaching after that salesman takes the shoes and told us no problem you do one thing just wash the shoes properly, make it clean and submit it to us & we will submit it to the company. You will get the replacement or at least repairing.
                                    We go to shop as on 20/02/11 for submitting the shoes (due to some important work from 16 Feb to 19 Feb I was not able to go to shop). Then the salesman takes shoes from us and gives the acknowledgment on back side of cash memo of shoes (Scan Copy of cash memo Front Side & Back Side Attached).
                                    After some days when I make inquiry about shoes he told me concern person is not available please come tomorrow then again after some days when I go to store the salesman send us to the other person he may be his manager or senior. That another person told us sir, this canvas shoes have no warranty or guarantee he shown us it is printed on back side of cash memo. I told him salesman committed me the warrantee he tell me it is not possible. Then I ask him can I meet to the owner of store he told me come on tomorrow evening. Then Second day I meet to the owner of store and tell him total story he tell me sir there is no warrantee on canvas shoes you take your shoes back & cancel the acknowledgment.
                                    Then again I tell him sir we have faith on BATA SHOES so we have purchase it from you at Rs.300. why we are not taking shoes from other when we are getting the same shoes at lower price from local market. After long discussion he told me you keep shoes with me. I will try to give you new peace from company. He tell me Person of BATA Company is come on every Monday so you come on Tuesday
                                    After that I was gone to shop for at least 6-7 times but each & every time I get the reasons only.
                                    & height of all things today (31/03/2011) Night when go to shop Mr.Wahidbhai (Owner of Store Approximately) tell me. Your work is done but you will get only 50% of shoe Cost so you have to pay Rs.150 again if you want the same shoes.
                                    Sir, I am taking shoes from Bata when I was in 1st standard i.e. from last 20-22 years.
                                    I hope you Bata Company is not supplying faulty peace intentionally but defiantly I got the faulty shoes.
                                    So we want Replacement/Repairing (But repairing should be in proper form and look of shoes not to be changed) of shoes. For this I will not pay any type of Money.

                                      I wanted to share my experience & writing a mail with deep regret and anguish as I had visited along with my family on dated on 18th Nov-11 @ 9:20 to your BATA showroom located at Bannerghatta Road Bangalore next to Petrol Pump,

                                      Its was 9:20pm when your shop was above to close & the staff was above to pull the shutter, I was inside my car & asked my wife to request the staff for purchasing a pair of white canvas shoes form my son, My wife entered the shop & ask the cashier.. Hi I need to purchase a pair of white canvas shoes, the cashier & other staff was busy gossiping in Malayalam language, she again said excuse me can you give me a pair of shoes, the staff replayed arrogantly no we are close, madam come tomorrow, No pls help me as tomorrow will be to late as my son has to attend the class @ 8am, No no Pls go away that is not my problem, you should have planed since morning why now at this time, do you think we are dog to slog for 24hrs, My request again don’t worry I know what is want to purchase Pls… Staff laughed at her & asked her to leave, she came out of store, I asked her what happen? did you manage to buy, she replied those 3 boys at the store are bunch of Joker has no respect for a women, I said ok let me request them…

                                      Me & my wife again entered the store, 1 of them came out of the counter and looked at my wife and told, are you mad to come back again after telling that we are close, I was very irritated & furious that how can a staff talk to my wife in this fashion, I immediately asked the staff how dare you talk to my wife like this, he did not respond & started walking towards store room, I stopped him & asked for the shop manager/owners mb numb, he stood back & came close to my face & said this is company you get lost from hear as I am getting angry now, I stood their & did not no what to do with this arrogant staff who was constantly laughing on us & chatting in their mallu language, but I would understand few of their action that they were abusing me, I finally wanted to give them back & walked up to counter & said this is not done your billing counter is still open & your are fooling us, Both of them came out of the counter & started using vulgar language on me & tried to push me out, my wife was very embarrassed with their language, she finally could not tolerate any further & pulled my hand towards entrance, as we were walking, 1 of them replied ? get out are else you will be physically pushed out of the store, I stood & tried to tell him that you will face the music for the bad behavior, he came all the way & cot my T-Shirt & ask me to go are else I will not be able to control my anger, my mom & son rush from the car & took me out,

                                      I really don’t know, what type of quality benchmarks are you following during the course of your manufacture. You are literally taking the Customer for a ride without adhering to any quality benchmark/standards. I feel your Bata showroom is just a show piece with high pricing and with no customer service, and is no more better than an ordinary store where there is no quality at all. Please introspect and take necessary action and these things are not repeated. Customers like me will always vouch. Time is not far, if you start facing legal action for your pathetic service and scant, I am so disappointed that I am being wearing bata shoes right from my childhood & now my children’s,

                                      Trust I will never again step in any of your bata stores in my dreams!!! Pathetic & poor customer service

                                      I will certainly take this to a next level & will consult my office legal team on this worst horrifying experience of my life

                                      I don't know whether you will bother about this feedback. But if you have every cared to care for your patrons, I would like to believe that you will respond.

                                        1. I Mr Rati Krushna Samantaray, working in Indian Navy Procured one pair of sandal[protected], Salsa) from a Bata outlet (bata india limited,villaassery house, MG Road, south end,Peramanoor, Kochi-15) on 22.01.2011.

                                        2. With in the warranty period heel of one of the sandal broken. for the same I went to the store on 16 Feb 11. The store attender told me to get the complain register in the customer care center in Bata Indai Ltd., 418/02 MG Road, Sector-17, Gurgaon,-122002 (Haryana) by phone or email.

                                        3. 0n 18 Feb 11 I had registered the complain by Phone vide complain no20114840.

                                        4. After the registration I had Contact many times to the Customer care and they told that the case has been resolved but the Shop from where I had purchased the sandal is not responding at all. Where as I had arranged a conversation between the Custoer care and the Shop attender. But since then the shop has not taken any actionand told that this is not his part of responsibility.
