I bought 2 pair of shoes, one of rs.1499, other rs.999, both shoes size was not fitting so i returned both shoes on 28aug 2021. They processed refund as credit note, so I mailed them by bank account details, as told by customer care to refund my money back to my account on 28 aug only. From 28 aug till date i have talked to customer care 4 times and everytime they are saying we will refund in 3-4 days. Till date i have not got any refund.
Kindly help me getting my money(1499+999=2498/-) back.

Its been 6 days I last called and got mail that in 2 days they will refund. Still no refund and no response. What a fool they are making of customers. Wish i had read the reviews about this fraud company earlier and didn't buy from their website. Never thought company like bata can go down to this level to dupe customers money.

Called again on 3rd oct. They are giving same answers will refund in 2 days.No refund. And when i was talking/yelling at them the lady was muting the call. Literally they are fooling the customers and looting their money. And sadly i am one of them.

    I am very unsatisfied with the service of Bata I have never experienced such thing before I bought this slipper from one of the showroom of Bata and within the use of a week I started having irritation on my feet and it is still continuing. Kindly help me in this regard.

      We purchased a shoe and belt at Pondicherry Bata show room in Anna salai branch on 19th sep 21 evening . The behavior and attidute of the manger at the billing counter was very rude and it was strange to notice.such people in a customer oriented company owned showrooms.. we were using the sanitiser kept on the table after our billing and he was literally shouting on us for using the sanitiser and he was telling to go out and use the one kept there. In this Covid time all the shopping centers have adequate sanitizers in all places and after all this is a good practice I guess. If such restriction is there why that should be kept and table and when we try to use why such drama was performed. He was literally stopping and saying that it will stain the glass on the table. As far as my knowledge is concerned being a alchohol based product this will never stain or damage any glass surface. These non customer friendly manager in a reputed showrooms of Bata to be taken up seriously on HR point of view and that have to be taught how to talk, behave and respect customers.

        I have returned a bata shoes for which u people given me credit note.
        Not it's showing invalid even though it's in ur given date limit.
        Kindly resolve this issue at earliest.

          I purchased a pair of slipper from one of Bata outlet in Lucknow Uttar Pradesh on 21st July 2021 and within 2 months its skin get peeled off near left toe.
          Invoice & photos of slippers are uploaded.

              I bought a pair of open toed bata bellies along with a pair if power sport shoes. The sport shoes turned out to be fine but the bata bellies did not.
              The bellies have been worn just twice have given me atleast 4-5 blister and shoe bites and bleeing too in each foot.
              The purchase was made in 2020 but due to following lockdown they weren't worn until now. The bellies aren't worn out but i have worn them twice with great deal of pain and blisters each time. Due to lockdown this did not come into my notice. It is highly disappointing, unsatisfactory given the name of the brand and the prices too.

                We hold significant shares of Bata since 30 years but we have not received the discount coupons for last 3 years now. I thought the company had closed it but here i find others receiving them.

                I am looking to buy many items and need the coupons on urgent basis. Kindly help.

                  We have purchased above mentioned product (order noBW[protected]). Since the size is big and wanted to return next day itself. Trying for many days online but always error message pops up. Sent email also but no response.

                  Where is the policy of of no question return where it is not possible to lodge a request of return online nor there is any reply for the emails.

                      I was about to order a product from the bata website . But as I proceeded to gpay the money got deducted from my account but the order was not placed . I have emailed bata customer care but I am yet to receive any reply . It happened on 7 September 2021.

                        I have sent a mail to customer care on 7th July 2021, ( complaint # 70303 ) regarding order # AI[protected] sub order no. # AI[protected] ). I have received defective product. Shade for both footwear is different & so, have asked to replacement.
                        Return pick up was done by company but till date refund not received.
                        Every time while called, they are asking for 4-5 working days but no confirmation.

                                    In view of my purchased one pair shoes for my daughter (photo enclosed herewith) on 2019 at the time of Daurga puja from your Triangular park branch, it is deep pity to inform you that now the shoes are not wearable anymore. I have no cashmemo at present but the box is here.
                                    After purchasing a shoes by Rs.4000 on 2019, have to reject now.
                                    Being a BATA company it is very much unexpected and unfortunate.

                                      Order number AI[protected]. I went to a Bata store and ordered a shoe of 999 Rs from there on 23 July, got it delivered on 27 July. Returned it on 08 August and shared Bank account details for getting refund.

                                      They told me to wait 3-5 days, so I again called on 13 August. I was told the same again. Again called on 18 August. They said 48 hrs then.

                                      On 20 August I called twice. First time, a woman said the refund was initiated yesterday but she then sent me their usual system-generated mail that "I have made a note of the concern raised by you. You may be rest assured, I will get the same resolved for you in maximum of next 4 to 5 working days", the same as the ones they have sent me after every call the past days.

                                      Then I called again and a man first said refund was initiated, then said he's raised a concern and refund will be initiated in 4-5 days. I told him that they are all liars and I'll go to the police. He kept saying the same thing.
                                      They don't respond to email.

                                      The store manager is no good either. He is also not cooperating. He says he'll call and ask but never does. I'm feeling hopeless.

                                      I've recorded every call and I'm thinking of going to the police. This is pure fraud case. Happened to a lot of people, I can see on Google.

                                      Attached the last mail the first woman sent me. The format is same for all mails, they have been sending it to me after every call.

                                      24 August - Finally I got a message with link of Payu to get the refund. I went to the link and it required me to put my bank account or ipo details to get the refund. So, Bata customer support took my bank details for nothing, just for show. If they cared they would initiate the refund themselves in the shared Bank account. They didn't mail me anything or call me . Instead I initiated refund by putting my upi in the Payu link and today 26 August I have finally received the refund of 999. I don't know if this is because I posted it here or the manager insisted more, but I know this, I'm never buying anything from Bata again.

                                      The store manager called me an hour later and told me that he had talked with customer support too and he was informed that several refunds were held and they initiated all of those yesterday. So, I have to wait another 4-5 days. I took that with a grain of salt. When I told the manager that the customer support have been lying to me and I caught them red-handed on my last call, he said "whatever the customer support told you verbally doesn't matter, the emails they have sent you matter. Bata does their customer support through a 3rd party company, and so, the company is doing this". The manager is another manipulative businessman, it turns out. I have learnt from this experience to never shop from their stores or website ever again.

                                      22 August - Visited the store. The manager first said "I told you to wait 5 days" in such way as if I was doing something utterly inappropriate. He then said that the company mailed him asking why the customer returned the shoes. He showed it to me too. Then my 1st question was I had already told them that with photos on mail on 8 August. Why are they asking now and even that to you but not me, the customer? He neglected it. Then I asked is that why they are delaying the refund?? He neglected that too.

                                      I told him what I told the customer support through mail, the outer sole is poor, it's not worth 999 Rs. Then the manager started saying that I was talking rubbish, that I have no right to complain about the sole. I tried to tell him that a customer has the right to complain about anything if they don't like it. No matter whatever reason the customer returns a product, the company must refund the money since the return was already accepted and the product was already picked up 2 weeks ago. He kept telling the same thing that I was talking rubbish.

                                      Even raising your voice and arguing doesn't help if the customer care and manager are together trying to rob your money and doesn't want to hear any complain about each other.

                                      I called customer support again on 22 August an hour after visiting the store. Same thing again, told me to wait 3-5 days. "We have initiated your refund". I asked "if you initiated it now, why were you delaying it for 2 weeks?" No answer, he kept telling the same thing, "the refund will be credited in 3-5 days". I roasted him some and the person said, "Talk professionally." I told him, "you go to hell, may your company goes to hell too" and hung up. They're continuously lying about it and saying the same thing on phone and on mail like a broken record. And the manager keeps inventing new tactics to confront me every time I visit the store.

                                        I am a regular user and customer of Hush Puppies men's formal shoes. I bought a pair of Hush Puppies Men's new steward black 7-UK from Hush Puppies Store during my visit to Varanasi. Though it has more than 1 year since purchase, I used the shoes about only 15-20 times as my office has been closed due to Pandemic. Last week, I noticed that one layer of right shoes sole (back side) started peeling off making the shoes unwearable.

                                        This is a clear cut case of manufacturing defect. Hence, I request Bata India to look into the matter and provide a replacement.
