    I registered a complaint with Bata approximately a month ago regarding an online order wherein my payment was debited from the Airtel wallet but order was unsuccessful. I have been following up on that complaint since 30 days over numerous calls and emails but nobody s bothered to resolve the same and their customer executive team just asks t wait for another 48 hours every time i call. The payment debited was INR 3, 339.76 for which i have shared the updated till date statement twice showing no refund has been received yet and that the payment was debited.

    Bata India does not even provide an escalation contact or grievance officer details. I doubt anybody is bothered to work on the complaints there and they just wait to dupe customer's money at the end. Please help in getting the same resolved.

      Unfortunately i have to take this issue here as not getting satisfactory response/resolution since1 month.
      I am a loyal bata customer of bata since decade, but first time facing such no response behaviour from bata.
      Case/background
      1.0 i have purchased bata shoes and slippers on 1st mar.
      2.0 as the shoe fit was not proper i returned thos and i got a credit note from the store (Cr[protected] as the model which i selected was not available. It was confirmed to me that it will be available in a week.
      3.0 post that because of lockdown all major stores are shut and i was not able to visit the same shopping mall at thane again. I renewed my credit note till 31 jul 20
      4.0 model which i want is not available in the bata stores which are currently open nearby and all high end stores (Hush puppies) in malls are closed.

      Ask/issue
      As required shoes model was not available i was asking to cc team
      Option no 1-convert this to an online voucher so that i can purchase shoes online as model is available online
      Option 2- revalidate this credit note as all the high end stores like hush puppies are closed in malls./required mosel not available
      Complaint no 1885118-no solution (2 aug)
      Complaint no 1896417- no solution
      2-3 emails to cc - no response

        Hi,

        Since it 14 days till today there is no response from Bata customer care team or concern managers or team lead for refunding the Rs.3000 gift voucher.

        Every 24hrs to 48 hrs if we call to Bata customer care they will tell we required 24- 48 hrs .The same thing is repeating since 14 days.

              I placed an order on 11th July for FlipFlops through the bata website and it got declined two times but the amount deducted from the bank account and still, it is not refunded back.
              I contacted around 10 times to customer care and it's been around 2 months but every time they just initiated a new ticket number.
              This is a highly unprofessional approach of BATA.
              Let me know when will be refunded to my account as I don't want any other ticket/issue number.

                It has been nearly 2 months since I returned your shoes worth RS. 1699. I have not got my refund yet. I have called nearly 20 times to customer care, everytime they say...it is in process, we have highlighted to our account department. This is really unprofessional behaviour of bata. How can you make a person call again n again for just 1 refund. If this continues, it will seriously affect your market share too.

                  I am extremely disappointed with the customer services of bata. I am not getting response from any of bata's email ids. I recently had a very bad experience from the escalation department as no one was responding to my emails. I had to call the customer care every time for the update of my complaints.
                  I had a word with the escalation department team on the phone and they assured me to give me the credit note in 3 days. It's almost been a week now that i am waiting for the credit note. We had a discussion on 19th august regarding the credit note.
                  Bata was going to offer me credit notes for my 2 cancelled orders and the reference number is as follows - 1897921 and 1897922.

                  Also i had ordered 1 more shoe pair and would like to return it as it is not comfortable for my father as he is a diabetic patient.
                  I had dropped an email for the same to in-customer. Service @bata.com 3 days ago along with the photos of the shoe and the invoice photo as well.
                  I still did not get any kind of reply for the same.

                  May i know the reason for this?

                  Does anyone look into these emails? If yes then why don't i get the reply and if no then please let me know to whom shall the customers write?

                  How is bata going to compensate for all this?

                  Even for getting the credit note for my orders which i had placed on 1st august i had to struggle like anything and still i don't have the credit note.

                      Today, i had a chance to speak to one of your customer services representative, she was so unhelpful and she has changed my complete experience with shopping on bata.in which is really pathetic to worst. I have been doing online shopping for so long with multiple platforms but i never got such a run around and such unresponsive and unhelpful experience. I have visited the store as well in lulla nagar showed them proof's of payment and described the situation but no one is ready to take the responsibility and everyone is giving me a run around.

                      I have made the payment through gpay upi, so i shared the receipt of the transaction in pdf format, but that didn't satisfied them, so they asked to share my bank statement as well in pdf format, which i sent them over email, but still there was no response over the email, so i called in customer service again 5th time they answered and they said they will respond in 3 days whether that amount can be refunded or not.

                      Trust me, i think they have the worst system, and i won't suggest anyone to use bata website to order anything.

                        I tried ordering your product from bata.in website on august 14, 2020. I got payment request and I paid through phone pay app. After that I got transaction successful message from phone pay app also. But when I Went back to the bata website after my payment it got declined but money got debited. I tried calling your customer care number and emailed for so many times. Till now I didn’t get any response from your side. This is the message I got from phone pay app. Please check and do the needful as soon as possible or else I will move legally.

                              I placed an order on 14th july 2020. My order not delivered till date, each time i call customer care, i get the same response from team to wait for 3 days or wait for some time and e-mail (7 reminder mails) also response less from customer mail and higher management. It has been almost one month. Neither delivering product neither refunding. Worst customer support ever seen. Delivery partner tries pickup everyday but denied at warehouse. I'll sue them if they don’t provide resolution soon.

                                  I had purchased from bata store at mega mall golf course road, gurgaon
                                  One hush puppies slip ons, these did not suit me and i went to exchange them at the store.in the other type of hush puppy slipon they did not have the size and i was told they would call and let me know when they receive it. They said they would get it in 1-2 days. No body called for a week then i went back to the store on 13/8/2020 the y still did not have the pair and they could not figure out anything about it (Surprising). I asked for the refund so that i can go to another store n try which they refused. They should should refund the money if any customer wants otherwise he can complain to the customer redressal forum. The lady manager then said to chose another pair which was cheaper so for the difference i am forced to buy a belt as well. The size in that pair is also not available. They took my details n said they will be delivered by 13.08.2020 pm. Today is 16.08.2020 there is no news and no one has informed me when they will deliver. When i go next week then i would like a refund kindly instruct your staff accordingly.
