Since then, they have delivered the incorrect shoes to me twice, and deliberately ignored over 20 emails I have sent, and countless calls I have made, to resolve the issue. In fact, a tele-customer service representative even told me the shoes are not available any more, yet I see them on the online store still.
It has been 9 MONTHS, and I have been repeatedly reaching out to them for a refund. Instead, they keep responding to me with automated and new 'Request IDs' for every message and call, while not resolving the issue or returning my money.
Despite photos of the wrong shoes and return slips I have provided over email, exact details and pick up dates I have shared over phone, even the contact number of the delivery person who picked up the shoes each time - they have written me stating that I have somehow decided not to return the shoes.
This ridiculous farce has been carrying on since last year, and nobody at Bata seems to take it seriously.
I have sent more complaint emails re: this pair of shoes, than I have done in my entire life, and all I have to show for it is exasperation at Bata's inefficiency.
I want my rightful refund to be processed right away and to report the disgraceful manner in which this has been handled. Bata is no less than harassing a perfectly good customer.
Do not buy from them unless you want disappointment and anger - that too over months and possibly years.
Bata India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
