It is very disappointing to see the kind of service and support from a brand like bata india.

First of all i was sold a low-quality product. When the concern is raised about the same, every single customer service executive is handling it with utmost carelessness.

I have contacted the support team on different times and got only excuses after excuses so far.

Following are the dates and so called service ticket numbers shared with me for tracking – not sure what exactly being tracked

No one is even bothered to look into what needs to be done on this reported issue.

Today(jul 16th 2019) also contacted the Customer service.. Not ready to answer and abruptly cut the call. Very pathetic service. Not able to resolve single issue for more than a month.

    I bought a chappal from bata a month back and it is damaged. So i called the bata showroom to know the things but they didn’t recieve my call and the time of purchasing the executive of bata showroom told me it is all weather and it gets a warranty for 6 months and evn i hold the invoice bill. The bill shows the chappal cost is 699 and purchased on 21/06/2019

    We had brought a pair of slippers, we wanted to exchange for a different model They made us roam to different shops around Bangalore and even after 3 weeks they are just registering complaint. But issue is neither resolved nor there are any signs of resolution. Please let us know how to register complaint in consumer forum.

      I have placed an order for the SHOE at their online website https://www.bata.in
      Order ID: 12348195 Order Date: 07 Jul 2019 and payment made by online bank.

      From the day one the status shows as
      Order Status: Payment Received Payment Mode: Net Banking
      I have sent email to the customer care, no reply.
      Then I have called the customer care no one pickup the call.
      Later called their company number[protected], and spoke to Miss Burka on[protected], and gave the order number. She said will call me in 10 min. But I have not receive any call from her. Later on[protected] again I spoke to her, again she said she will call back. But have not received any call.
      I request the consumer forum take necessary action and ask the company to deliver the item and compensate for the losses to me.

        Hi, I purchased belly for rs.699 from Bata store at mayur vihar phase 1, delhi location. Its size is fine but when my sister wore it and went outside, her foot gets wounded because of its bad quality and also its cloth quality is very bad. I never expected this quality from Bata. Her wounds has not yet been recovered. Due to this She is wearing sleepers at her school.
        I also checked that belly on my foot and they are loose for me but still i observed that its cloth is hurting my foot. Please take this issue in consideration. If customer is not comfortable and satisfied then why to make such quality products.

          I had bought one hush puppies shoe from Bata showroom in Chrompet Chennai on 10th July, 2019 around 6 pm . It was very painful to wear the next day and barely using for an hour, I had gone to the showroom to get it replaced with another Bata product but the the store owner refused to exchange the product and also spoke in a threatening and confrontational tone .

            I visited a shop at dombivli east with shoes as my insole of my shoes has got completely peeled off. I purchased the shoes on 18/06/2019 and i visited the shop on 30/06/2019. I was told that we will stick that shoes and give you back and also no receipt for repair was given to me. Till today i didnt received any call from bata shopkeeper.. I am having original receipt with me and also given complain at call centre on toll free number. My complain no is 1642924 and yet no action was taken. I am really very disappointed by service given by bata store and call centre. My receipt no is cm[protected]Receipt given at the time of purchase. Please look into the matter as early as possible.               I was purchased 2 pair bata shoes 3-4 month ago from bata showroom of aashima mall, bhopal.
              Black colour wear regularly & having no issue, brown colour wear some days ago & on the very first day
              Of wearing, leather of shoes peel off & sole of shoes fully removed. Unfortunately i m not having bill of same
              & in record checking, showroom also not having any records or u can say, may be they deliberately remove
              The records as they know such issues can be arised. When i complaint about same. They directly denied
              This is not from our shop. But on request they accept for repairment, after few days when i reached to get repaired shoes,
              They refused for repairment also.

                I have also not recieved dividend for year 2018-19. I request you to kindly issue me dividend and coupons.

                  I know that my concern will not be resolve. But still i would inform you that, today 06th july 2019, i went to bata showroom itpl brookfield bangalore 560066 to purchase a brown color no. 8 shoe. I choose two different type shoes and select one shoe at a price of rs. 1500. But the seller gave me and made a bill of rs.2000 shoe. After that i go to the salesman, he told me that that shoe was not there that is why i gave you at price of rs.2000. Both the rs.1500 and rs.2000 shoes were almost same. That's why i did not understand. Even without inform me they cheated me rs. 2000 shoe. When i complaint to the manager, his behavior was like a mafia gunda.

                    Since then, they have delivered the incorrect shoes to me twice, and deliberately ignored over 20 emails I have sent, and countless calls I have made, to resolve the issue. In fact, a tele-customer service representative even told me the shoes are not available any more, yet I see them on the online store still.

                    It has been 9 MONTHS, and I have been repeatedly reaching out to them for a refund. Instead, they keep responding to me with automated and new 'Request IDs' for every message and call, while not resolving the issue or returning my money.

                    Despite photos of the wrong shoes and return slips I have provided over email, exact details and pick up dates I have shared over phone, even the contact number of the delivery person who picked up the shoes each time - they have written me stating that I have somehow decided not to return the shoes.

                    This ridiculous farce has been carrying on since last year, and nobody at Bata seems to take it seriously.

                    I have sent more complaint emails re: this pair of shoes, than I have done in my entire life, and all I have to show for it is exasperation at Bata's inefficiency.

                    I want my rightful refund to be processed right away and to report the disgraceful manner in which this has been handled. Bata is no less than harassing a perfectly good customer.

                    Do not buy from them unless you want disappointment and anger - that too over months and possibly years.

                      I bought my foot wear (Ladies premium foot wear rs 900) from the bata shop at oak mall, kannur, kerala just before 3 months
                      And it’s sole has peeled off last month, went to the shop and they had taken it for repair and said they would call me after the repair is over. I did not hear from them for a month. Do i went to take it back and i have noticed that they have not done anything on my chappal and they were searching for it.
                      Such a poor service never expected from bata shop
                      After waiting for more than 15 minutes
                      My chappal was returned to me after pasting the sole with some glue which was over flowing on to my hands
                      How can u allow such people to ruin the name and image of bata

                        I purchased three footwear last month from this shop but one of my footwear damaged. I visited that shop today but he was not ready to listen me and demand for bill. But on the day of purchase, he did not gave bill and told me i will give you some discount for not taking bill. But today he replied i cannot do nothing without bill. But if article no.                           Hello I ordered a hush puppies sandals online .. I received the wrong size so I had requested the shipment of correct size. The pick up has been made a month back . I still have not received a refund or new product. I have paid RS 4000 for this . I am extremely disappointed with Bata online services. Each time I call I have to spend 20 minutes on the call with customer service and the emails I get a standard automated reply. I had placed the order in the month of May .

                                  Hello team,

                                  I have purchase this product from shivranani bata store (Ahmedabad, gujarat) on 7th nov 2018. Since i have purchased this product i am feeling uncomfortable on my left leg and in month of april 2019 (5 month only), i saw that sole is damaged and that's why i given shoes to shivrajani store. I demand for the product replacement but they assured me that this will not repeat and we will replace the sole. But they didn't replace it, they just repair the damaged sole.

                                  This is not acceptable to me even i have purchased rs. 2999/- shoes from reputed brand but i was wrong.

                                  Please find the my shoes pictures attached along with invoices.

                                    I am from hyderabad. I bought school shoes for my son for rs.699 on 6th june. Person on the counter swiped the amount wrongly as rs.6699. I used my debit card. I did not check on that day. The bank is not able to help because i authorized the transaction with pin. The store did not return the amount till now.
                                    I have all the receipts clearly showing that the purchase was only for 699 and card swipe receipt for 6699. He punched an extra 6.
                                    Please look in to the matter. Rs.6000 is not small amount.

                                      With high level of dissatisfaction i am complaining about ur staff quality and customer service provided at bata madhyamgram chowmatha branch of kolkata. I am a regular user o[censored]r north star brand. But unfortunately the sole comfort differs in different north star shoes probably bcz of different cutting types. Hence i had to try some 10 types of different designs of north star ballerinas of which i felt comfortable in 2 only. Now the staff complained angrily that u can not try all of them bcz they r to b sold and they might get dirty. So wat am i supposed to do. Only choose the design and come back home without checking the comfort and then throw dat in dustbin if not liked by me in long run?? Pitiful customer service. Still i will opt for bata bcz ur shoes are best but ur staffs are not upto the mark. Earlier also i got one 4 size other 5 size packed by one o[censored]r branches staff. Please give them proper guidnce.

Second day after wearing the shoe I found that the left shoe was bitting my feet. I also realised that the fitting of left shoe was not same as right shoe.
