Sir,

People consider hush puppies as one of the most premium brands in shoe making.

This is the worst experience i have ever had with a shoe worth rupees 6000

I purchased a brown colour hush puppies shoe from pune 5 months back from shoe world, deccan branch, jm road, pune

Within 4 months, the brown shoe became multicoloured with different shades of brown. And the leather (I am not sure if it is pure leather in the name of leather you are selling) started tearing.

Attached are some pictures of the same. The shoe is getting cracked from outside and tearing in the inside.

I have never experienced this kind of third graded quality product from a brand like hush puppies. I use ruosh shoes having half price and it is lasting for last 2 years with no damage.

As a loyal customer where all my family grew up wearing bata products and now this is what you are selling with skyhigh prices. I had another hush puppies experience earlier where my shoe was split into halves after only 7 months of seldom office use.

Now i cannot bear with this kind of things. I am presently at hyderabad. I need either replacement of my shoe or need my money back. If proper action is not taken regarding to this aspect, i would be lodging a complaint against your company in consumer forum and publicly i will spread this review in all the possible forums.

    With reference to the above mentioned query, i would like to inform you that, today i purchased a shoe worth ₹2299 from your showroom at tellicherry, sangamam junction, kannur district, kerala. I was surprised, when the cashier asked me to remit ₹3 towards paper bag, since an article published in business today dated april 15, 2019, has reproduced a court verdict pronounced by chandigarh consumer forum, slapping a fine of ₹[protected] towards legal aid + ₹3000 compensation to customer + 1000 for litigation charges). I am enclosing the screenshot of purchase bill along with the screenshot of the article in business today for your ready reference.
    A company of having a history of good customer service and excellent products, is not following a court verdict, is quite surprising.
    I am a customer of bata for the last 20 years, and i expect you to follow the instruction issued by honourable court of chandigarh.

      I purchase a pair of shoes from bata shop for rs.800. An extra charge of rs.3 for carry bag has been levied. The paper carry bag provided was bearing the advertisement of the shop, "bata" and i had no intention to purchase the carry bag.

      As per 'chandigarh district consumer forum', by employing unfair trade practice, bata is minting lot of money from all customers.

      It also directed bata to provide free carry bags to all the customers who purchase articles from its shop.

      I have been used as an advertisement agent by 'bata' at my cost and this amounts to unfair trade practice. I need the refund of my rs.3 along with the compensation.

        Sir it's well known fact now that it's duty of the store to provide a carry bag with product purchased and that is of course free of cost without charging any fee... But it's sad that still bata is charging for the carry bag as a matter of right. The rude n arrogant retailer is trying to bring down the customer with their so called old thought and scraped knowledge.. A consumer who is paying 1700 for a pair of shoes still has to charge a 3rs price for carry bag??? How rediculous it is... Disgusting behaviour of retailers for the wrong thing also shows their mentality of course it's companies norms not profit as they said... Replay asap.. Waiting

          I would like to complaint about the recently bought shoes from bata stores in kannur near rema bakery kannur kerala. The shoes were taken abroad by my husband within a weeks use the outer leather of the shoes came out in stripes, a big hole appears on both the soles. I will be sending you the pic if required. Very disappointed with bata, the salesperson assured us that the quality was very good as it is bata product. Kindly see to that the standard of shoes is maintained and i need a reply from your side for the same

            I ordered 3 products from bata india, on the date of 12th, april 2019, the products are 1 sandal, and two shoes, i recently call bata india customer service they told me the products are delivered within 7-8 days, its 29th april 2019. Still not received my products. And from my 3 products they automatically cancelled my 1 product (Sandal), without prior notice or without inform me. And remaining two shoes are not yet delivered to me, i already pay the total amount via prepaid mode.
            I want my products from bata india, they are not responding, please do not cancel or refund for my products, i want my products. Please deliver my products asap.

              Sir, i purchased a pair of slippers from bata india showroom at 24th main jp nagar bangalore months back. Upon usage i suffered wounds because of the slipper strap and got medical treatment. I explained all these alongwith photos of my wounded foot and dropped mail to the following authorities of bata.

              I sent several reminder mails seeking some resolution atleast in the form of compensating vouchers. But they have not responded to any of my mails and i received only automated complaint registration numbers every time afresh. Nothing came from them.                 Please find the Invoice/ Pictures/ Denial mail against the complain of warranty cover of my Bata shoe which was bought from Amazon on 22nd Feb. 2019. This is really unfortunate experience that my shoes got damaged within very less time span which is not at all accepted from brand like Bata.

                I placed order online at bata.in on 21st april 2019 for brown sandals for men vide order with id: 12294812 and order no is: 50355188 and paid rs.499. Still iam not getting any orders status and product also. Pl. Take necessary action to ensure that bata.in doesn't cheat it's customers...

                  Dear support member,

                  We had 18 rs. 100 gift vouchers and went to redeem these at bata showroom on new bel road, bengaluru, today (21 april 2019) at about 17.30 and encountered the following difficulty.

                  We identified 5 items for purchase with the following item numbers and prices:

                  We handed over our 18 vouchers of rs. 100 value each to the billing counter. At this stage, we were informed that a maximum of 7 vouchers can be redeemed against a single bill and we made the obvious request of raising 3 bills, since we had 18 vouchers. Since we were not asked by the billing person how the items are to be split between these three bills, we trusted it to be done the way that is the most beneficial to the customer. It is also evident that the best way to split these items over 3 bills would be as follows:

                  1 bill for rs. 499 + 3 (For 5 vouchers + rs. 2)

                  1 bill for 1099 (For 7 vouchers + rs. 399)

                  1 bill for 179+149 = 328 (For 3 vouchers + rs. 28)



                  Total of 15 vouchers and rs. 429

                  We were instead presented with 2 bills as follows:

                  1 bill for rs. (499 + 179 + 3) (For 7 vouchers)

                  1 bill for rs. (1099 + 149) (For 7 vouchers + rs. 548)



                  Total of 14 vouchers and rs. 548

                  We do not understand why only 2 bills were prepared instead of 3 bills, as requested. We also do not understand why the items were distributed in a way that amounts to the worst possible choice for the customer, requiring a much larger cash payment (Rs. 548 instead of rs. 429) and worse use of the existing vouchers, as if the attempt is to maximise the profit of the shop! If bata is not able to provide suitable training to its personnel at the billing counter, the least it should do is to train them to ask the customer how to bill items according to the preference of the customer. This was not done in our case and the bills were directly produced for our acceptance.

                  When we pointed this out and asked the billing to be changed to the one benefiting us as indicated above, leading to the best use of the vouchers and the lowest cash payment from us, we were told that this cannot be done, since the process of selling have already been implemented through the billing process without our consent or permission.

                  We found it objectionable and left the shop in protest of such a wrong approach, without purchasing (Or bringing with us) any of the items. I also stress that besides the inconvenience caused, we also wasted more than an hour to go to bata and return empty handed, though we found items that we wanted to procure and we hold bata responsible for both the loss of money and time in this case.

                  As far as we are concerned, we have not purchased anything from that shop, and we assume that our vouchers remain valid for being redeemed. We were told by mr. Vineet, the manager of that outlet, that the vouchers have already been redeemed in your computer system. Since we have not collected any item in view of the irrational and grossly unfair billing implemented by the obviously untrained billing person, we request you to kindly revalidate all these vouchers and inform us, so that we may go back and make our purchases the way it is beneficial to the customers.

                      I had purchased weinbrenner shoes on 17/4/19 with discount coupon on it. I discovered the defect (A small tear) a day later, and since i was out of town for a couple of days, i couldn't change it. Yesterday 22/4/19 i went to that shop and asked for the replacement. Shopkeeper said that since they do not have same colour and size, i can choose another colour but will have to pay 20% as that discount coupon cant be utilised. Also i said that i wanted same colour shoes, but he said he can't assure as to when they will arrive.

                        I have already dropped a complaint email to
                        In-customer. [protected]@bata.com but since did not get reply that is why posting it here again. The details are :

                        I have purchased 3 bellies from daryaganj bata showroom, delhi on 29.03.2019: one hearts and 2 north star bellies. The issue is with the north star ones, details of which are given below, and also attached is the invoice for your reference.

                        The concern is that while walking with these bellies, the shape transforms
                        Near the ankle. Like moving in and out, and also foot sometimes comes out of the belly.

                        Since the pink belly is not used yet, so i tried to return it, explaining the issue with the black one to the bata representatives' in the showroom. There were very less options available in exchange, and one which i chose in exchange had got the size issue. I am a working professional, and also approaching 60 years in age, so it is not feasible for me to visit again and again, considering the travel expenses as well. I have already visited 2 times but still the issue is not resolved.

                        We have been using bata since long and are it's old customers. But this time, the experience is bad. Daryaganj showroon is lacking variety, and fault in certain products. Request you to look into the concern and provide resolution as the belly is having faults.

                          I have a bata gift voucher and the issuing date of gift voucher is 5/oct/2018 and expire date is 6 months (5/april/2019). I went to bata showroom to buy a sandals on 1/april/2019. I was trying to use that gift voucher. First they have generated control number using that gift voucher number then they have used that control number and it shows not valid.

                          I have raised this issue to bata customer services on 2/april/2019 (Request registered with www.bata.in and reference number is 1530305). I'm following up the request 1530305 through email and customer service number for the past 20 days but they not responding properly and they never replied to the email.

                          In the past 20 days, i have reached them 6 times through customer service number and all the times they replied within 24 hours it will be resolved. But i never get any response and still the problem is not resolved. Please help on this to resolve.

                            Recently i have purchased apparels from bata showroom which is located in tambaram, my total bill amount was rs.2798 but i was charged extra rs.3 for providing me the delivery bag.                               I have purchase bata mocossino shoe from the show room of new market, bhopal on 18.02.2019 through my debit card for rs.1, 900/-. Transaction no. "othpos099075 bata india, bhopal". Within a span of 13 months the two soles were developed big cutting acrossly. It is a matter of deep regrettable thing that reputed banded bata company have used cheaper sole. With deep belief on bata products, i purchased this but all my hopes were defeated with your inferior quality material. I strongly protest against this.

                                I had purchased in ootacamund, tamilnadu showroom in the invoice no:cm[protected], dated: 18/04/2019 at 03:30pm and article no.[protected] and the mrp value 499 and rp value 449.10. But the article purchased by me was not in quality satisfaction so the same was been taken to the showroom on the very next day i. E., on 19/04/2019 at 3: 15pm. The said article was not used at all and it was in 100% good condition, when i informed the manager about the article quality he refused to exchange stating that it was purchased on vote day discount that is 10% on the mrp value, so i told him that i would repay the discounted value, even then he refused

                                  I have purchase shoes from BATA Serampore shop on 01.04.2019. But the ladies sandals torn and damaged only after using for 15 minutes on 03.04.2019. I already informed Serampore Bata shop but they refused to repair or exchange as it purchase on discount. They said the shoe can repair or exchange only after approval received from bata customer care.

                                  I really can't expect this type of behavior from the reputed Brand like BATA. Your shop gives the defective material to their customer and there after harassing their customer.

                                  I have complain against it to Bata India customer care by email ( complain no-1541637 dt 10.04.19) but they refused to repair the shoe.

                                  World most third class brand is Bata. They are selling defective shoes even inferior than any shoes selling on footpath.

                                  Shame on BATA India and it's management who continuously cheating with customers.

                                    I made a complaint earlier on 27th jan'19 regarding wrong/very bad workmanship of my purchased bata sandler for my wife. Pl. Refer id2218120.
                                    But till date i could not get a reply or replacement or advice for repair. Such behaviour from an prime organisation like bata india is not expected.
                                    So it is my earnest request to provide me suitable reply.

                                      Address: 71,town hall road, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, 625001

                                      Bought a kids footwear bubble gummers on 7.4.19 from town haal road branch of madurai bata paying inr 499 for footwear and inr 3 for their palar bag with their brand logo.
                                      Using the same for less than a week the product proved to be if inferior quality. (Upper part and dole got separated. Pls vide image attached).
                                      Please do the needful.

                                        I purchased 4 items from our store in surat (Gujarat)
                                        1. Ladies sandle was opened from all side in 3 months that's price was around 1600
                                        2. One man chapple was crack out from all side in same time
                                        3. And one my shoes his puppies price was 4000 it's crack from side in six months
                                        Plz update quality like url price and ur addwetis
