It is very surprising experience from bata that my greivence is not being resolved instead of constant follow up.

I purchased an article on 25th December 2016 from mall of india Noida.

The article is suppose to come with a warranty of 90 days. By the time 2 months us over shoes sole and structure started separating .

I visited one of the store in gurgaon and they asked me to register complaint on a toll free number. My complaint got registered on 20th march 2017 with complaint no. 865406. I was informed that it will take 3 days to resolve my complaint. I made a follow up call on 23rd march 2017 and I was informed that the THAT is not over and resolution is in process. I again made a follow up call on 24th March expecting that my complaint would have been resolved but I was informed that it is still in process and I have to wait for one more day.
Till date I have not received any email or message from the company regarding my complaint. On 25th March I.e today since 10 am I am trying to call on the number but it is going unanswered.

The shoes which I bought is deteriorating day by day.

Bata was recommended by my friend and this was my first experience with bata which I am going to consider as the last one because from the product quality to the customer service quality I have not received any gesture to keep them high when it comes to service.

I don't know how serious you are going to take my written complaint still with some hopes I am writing.

Better you may go and register a complaint in consumer court if your problems not resolved..
I have purchased product of Rs 2300 from Bata India Sonapur Bhandup West shop. However GV 73732113 credit of 10% not provided Pls issue cash back for Rs 150.

I purchased Rs 2300 new chappals vide Bill Sr no 32552 dated 19 Mar 2017

    I am Industialist and always using Hush Puppies since long time.I am wearing shoes everyday.
    I had purchased Hush Puppies shoes from Bata"s showroom situated at Khandesh Central Mall, Jalgaon

    The leather of shoes is very hard, total uncomfortable and I cant walk more in my factory.
    I am very surprised by the very rubbish quality of Hushpuppies.
    Pl solve my problem.

      We have purchased sport shoes of bata. With in 2months back support cushion torn out and same will be started in second one.

      We had purchased the same from bata india ltd, shop no 61, rahulraj mall, surat as per cash memo no: 2426/1/03012017/00041.

      We have visited the store but they told that it is not covered under warantee. Please find with invoice and photo of same.

      We request to look in this matter and do the needful.

        I have lodged the complaint to your company and my Complaint No. is 861730. I shared the pictures of damaged item given by your company . I want my money back and requested a number of times over your Toll Free No. (Shri Raut and Garima)and by e-mails to pick up your damaged item and refund my amount Rs.1500/- . However, no reply is given by your company rather your company has blocked my e mail. Maintain your reputation, by cheating people your company will not make profit . I am working with RBI as DGM. I know my all rights. Do not cheat people and do not behave like Fictitious Companies who run away with the public money.

          Sub: purchases shoes from bata show room (554/02049) –dadar railway station which having problem wihin month time and bad service receiving from this show room

          Hello team,
          I have purchased bata eros shoe of rs.1300/ on 04/02/2017 and started using from monday 6th feb.
          Initial week i used it and came to know small scratch on right hand side shoes. I have ignored it as it might be happen due train rush.
          Still i continue using shoes but next week i found the scratch is increased gradually.
          Then i have visited the bata layout on last saturday 11th march and complain about right hand side shoe.
          But they have rejected to accept the shoe and all servant are there and manger is not available at bata layout. Servant told me that only sole issue is attending and replace it. I am absolutely get nervous by such service given by this bata show room so i am writing this mail to you.
          Since last 20 years i and my family was using various product of bata from kandivali, borivali, andheri show room but i have never faced such product which got spoil within one month time.
          Also i have found this dadar show room is worst as how come they can reject this product directly.
          You tell me if my left hand side shoe is ok only right hand side shoes is having issue of scratch.
          Will i able to use is for daily office work where i am attending prestigious client site like bp-catrol, dhl and tv18, ril? If you want proof, i can send bill & images of shoe,
          For my case whether this will get address and attend or not?

              I have purchased a pair of footwear, model No.MACHO-97 through your dealer Mrs.DURABLE SHOE COMPANY NO.1/705 KELAAMBAKKAM, VANDALUR ROAD, KELAMBAKKAM-603103 vide cash bill ni.2259 dated 28.01.2017 for an mount of Rs.749/-.
              When the pair was put in use, i feel very inconvenient due to developing of heat on toes. Also on the 4th day from the date of purchase, belt portion were cut off.This was reported to your customer care No. vide customer Id no.829764, 831530, 834665, 835705, 844359, 847840, 850257, 836268, 839489, 839498, 842486, 842627, 842638&851909. On my repeated oral complaint to the shop keeper he received the above pair on 4th march for examination and returned the pair after joining the cutoff portion manually on 11th march.Now I am getting pain/irritation while walking on the place of joint and the pair is kept idle without use.
              Hence it requested to replace the defective pair with a good one please

              I received the call from bata customer care helpline on March 15th and they told me, bata will be give a gift voucher for your respective product amount to sent your residence address.

              March 15th to still the date i didn't get the gift voucher.March 15th after i got three compliant numbers from bata service.The compliant numbers are 862408, 863628, 866969.

              March 21st, I spoke to customer care helpline, they replied me this is not a our defect and this is not a our problem.

              Why bata service team gave the assurance on march 15th?

                I have purchased a shoe from Bata Showroom, Alfa One Mall, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad on 03/03/2017 Model No. is[protected] of price worth Rs. 1999/-. Actually I usually buy products from Bata every time because they are durable and very comfortable to walk with. I used this shoe only two times but it was damaged. when I visited to the store, the manager has denied to replace the same. Unfortunately cash memo lost from my custody. Kindly make necessary arrangements for replacing the shoes from the concerned showroom as early as possible.

                    It was a good experience being with thr brand but what i have faced these days is pathetic.I have a complain related to my purchase of Ozees shoes from Bata exhibition road patna. After 45 days the upper (cloth) portion of the same got a hole in it. Aftr my conversation from bata exhibition road they confirmed that i will be serviced at the near by store but coming here, sales man Santosh informed me that the same is not possible. I am supposed to meet bata exhibition road to get it exchanged. I reside at gaya. Kindly look for the problem on priority. Sharing the copy of receipt and the affected portion of my shoe

                      I was online ordered sandal vide the order n. O 12126766. But they delivered diffrent product.

                      On same day i was e-mail to customer care and register case for wrong article delivered. Complaint n. O: 851634

                      Now they are not respond my email nor take this wrong article from my end.

                      I was tried to reachout customer care but after long waiting call was disconnected.

                      Need your help to get my money refund or allow me to exchange this product from store.

                      Such a bad experiance with bata. This is the first and last online shopping with bata.

                        I bought Bata sports shoes from your vikspuri branch in November.

                        I used many other brands in sports shoes but this is very worst experience of mine with Bata because in only 4 months there is stiching problem you can see pictures from both side there is stiching problem in both shoes

                        I visited your vikaspuri branch for complaint but they are saying we can't do anything because we don't have bill.Even we purchased this product from vikaspuri and its showing In the record o[censored]ttar nagar branch

                        Everybody going for a brand just because of quality but we are not expecting this from Bata that they are giving this quality to the customer
                        I am really very disappointedfrom Bata.you guys only tell me what should we do if a brand is giving this quality how we will trust on Bata again????

                          Purchased from your New Alipore, Kolkata shop on 18.10.2016. The pastings of the both parts, that is, left and right have become loose. Please arrange replacement. I am a regular Bata customer but never faced this kind of defects in Bata shoes.I think that to keep your reputation up, you may be kind enough to replace the defective shoe, as mentioned above though the your warranty period of three months are over by a few days.

                            I am a very old customer of Bata, from Kolkata.I went to the Gariahat Outlet in Kolkata at around 1-3pm to purchase a chappal when could not, the guy at the counter was yelling at me without any reason and taking out his frustratiion.I left the shop, didnt purchase.I naver had suich a horrible experience before.You have two outlets at the Gariahat Junctionm In Kolkata, I had the aweful experience in the shop which is smaller in size.

                              Response as bad as the quality of Bata products. I am sorry to say that the product has gone down so much in there quality of products. A street vendor shoe of worth Rs.500 lasts much longer than Bata products.

                              As I sent the pictures of my torn shoe you can see that it is major manufacturing defect that I only wore the shoe 3-4 times in 6 months of time and the entire stitching of the skater shoe came off. IS THIS the QUALITY of Bata means despite the customer has saved the bill or not? I can understand that Bata cannot be responsible to its products for a lifetime but at least few months can matter for a Bata product worth Rs.1600.

                              It is not a few hundreds of products that I purchased with that kind of price one would expect a good quality at least. I have brought many Bata shoes and all were value for money to be. But I seriously fail to understand the attitude of keeping bill and after seeing the major manufacturing defect in 6months time Bata takes no responsibility????????

                              I completely lost faith in Bata and its products and I would certainly not recommend to purchase BATA products in to anyone and spread the word around soon.

                                My name is Mrs.Jigyasha Sarna.This in reference to misbehavior of staff naming Kiran Ghevade in Phoenix mall bata store in Pune city. Absolutely untrained staff, disrespectful and was screaming at the customer. I felt unsafe in your store. The staff had no knowledge about the exchange I came for and on top of it he was continuously misbehaving. He started no complaint can effect him. His junior staff helped me to get the exchange because Kiran had no clue of what he was speaking. He was continuously screaming in the store and other customers were unattended and he made a screen in the store.
                                His entire body language was aggressive and I felt unsafe in your store.i eventually had to involve mall security and despite of mall staff apologizing, your staff was aggressive and unapologetic. I will word mouth to all my known that bata store is completely unsafe for women. I have using Bata for years and extremely disappointed to your staff's behavior. Whilst him speaking I discovered that he is a new joinee with no employee card. I want to escalate this concern to your highest level and if this issue is not dealt with responsiblity I shall put this incident on social media n even take help from police.

                                  I am your regular customer, on 12th Feb 2017 sunday I prucased the following items in your Chennai - 600061 Nanganallur Show room.

                                  1. Leather Cheppal[protected].
                                  2. Socks - 1 Set
                                  3. Black Polish

                                  The bill got lost.

                                  This is the first time i had seen a quality issue in your product, the leaterh cheppal was purchased on 12th Sunday and i am regular shoe user., hardly i used the cheppal for 3 days, hardly a week old, the outer layer of the belt and the toe top end leather finish got pealed off.

                                  Yesterday i showed it to your sales manager, he accepted it as a quality problem and as the bill was lost he asked me to send a mail to you for change approval.

                                  Please give approval to change the chappel.

                                  They are providing wrong information and they people told that we will arrange call back from our manager and i didnot recieve any call from them .
                                  When i placed orderd in website they people showed there is a stock and now they are saying out of stock so the order get cancled

                                    Dear sir,

                                    I bought shoes sparx mens red lifestyle shoes {size uk8} from abof.com for rs1133 original cost of shoes rs1799 vide order no: ab3346727 on 5th jan 2017

                                    The issue is that there is a major manufacturing defect in the shoes... The left shoes is tapered at the front while the right shoe is straight. You can see from the pictures. This is creating a lot of problems is walking as my left feet starts paining after walking small distance.

                                    Pls note i am a shoe lover and have a huge collection of shoes from all top brands. This was however my 1st time with sparx brand, and i bought it since it belongs to the trusted bata brand, but i regret to inform you i am disappointed with the product and feel like throwing these shoes away.

                                    Kindly solve my issue asap, or pls exchange the shoes with a new pair.

                                      I feel glad in writing you that i have been your committed customer since long and love to shop with you. On 05.02.2017, i had shopped a pair of shoes (North Star) from your Store located at SitaBuldi Main Road, Nagpur (Store Code/No: 558/02125) vide Cash Memo No. 05-02-17/1/[protected] dated 05.02.2017. The QP of the shoes was Rs. 1299.00 and i bought it in Rs. 455/- considering some discount/offer was going on then.

                                      Thereafter, on wearing the shoes for the very first time on Tuesday i.e. 07.02.2017, i noticed that there is something wrong with the alignment of a right shoe and i found mysel[censored]nable to even walk properly and then i immediately rushed to the Store and complained about it. There i came to know that Bata India Ltd has a policy of not to exchange any item sold under specific discount/offer/ scheme.

                                      I requested them a lot and but lastly the staff of the shop started arguing/humiliating/misbehaving with me and refused to look into my grievances.

                                      Vide this mail, I hereby admit that you have certain norms/terms associated with selling policy, but i had also spent my hard-earned money over the shoes that evening and actually deserve product satisfaction, which is totally missing in above case. In view of the above, i request you to please look into the matter and as a special case, please allow me to exchange that particular right side shoe/pair which has got a severe alignment issues considering only left side shoe was displayed/demonstrated while selling.


                                      I further state that whatever happens is really unfortunate and i am still feeling resentful for the last shopping and once again urge you to please consider my request of arranging for exchange of a pair/shoe, favorably or to arrange for repaying the amount of money i incurred that day; else i shall be compelled to reach/write other forums/media to intervene in the matter.

                                      I purchased a slipper in this 18th feb 2017 @ coimbatore. Its just 3 days.Now it looks very pathetic and old. All the skins in the slipper has gone. I wasted my money.

                                        I bought chap pals from bata out let at guntur on[protected]article no 661-3094 for rs.899.00 the chap pals are not at all compatible to wear so tight.. On[protected], again visited the bata shoe mart at guntur for exchange but manager at guntur bata refused to exchange. Hence i request either refund the amount or exchange with a new model.
