I purchased a pair of slippers from BATA showroom at Rs. 500/- previous year in the month of October. The slippers eroded just a few days back, i went to the respective showroom from which i purchased the same, but the shopkeeper refused to admit my complaint claiming that i had already used the products for over 3 months, so it could not be exchanged in any possible manner, but offered me a rebate of 50% on new product, to which i agreed, but when i went to choose the product there was no stock available. The shopkeeper assured me the new stock would arrive within a period of 1 week, i went to the shop after 1 week but the situation still remained the same. Finally tired of running from pillar to post, i was forced to procure a new pair of slippers. my whole money invested in the BATA went into the drain, i never expected i would receive such a response from branded products like BATA. i am extremely shocked and appalled by their gesture.
