I purchased a hushpuppies shoe around 10 months back for office purpose.there was no rigorous use of shoe and it was supposed to last at least for 1.5 year as said by the salesman of the store. Withing 6 months the sole of the shoe started peeling off from front and rear. I read the company policy and they will do nothing to help me now.
So my question is that why should I buy a shoe of 5000 when it will not even last 6 months.clearly these brands are looting indian citizens by their fake brand values.

Now my resolution will be to not buy hushpuppies shoe in future nor letting anyone in my known to buy this pathetic quality shoe.

I just received a call with number [protected] asking about product details..then this person said that I am calling from bata india and we will refund your money in your credit card ..this is clearly a fraud call and process.
Consumer complaints forum :- fraudsters are using your website for looting innocent people. Take some action..I have written number of that above asking for my card details.
No updates till now...I think they don't care about the customers .. good job Bata India

    Today 22nd Oct, 2016 I have purchased a shoe for my kid (article no.[protected] from Bata outlet at 6/92, Ajmal Khan Road, Karol Bagh, New Delhi, India The shoe was defected as the lights in the shoe was not working properly. I informed the showroom at karol bagh on Tel NO.[protected] and I was told to come to showroom for exchange this product. I visited the showroom after 2 hrs. The bata executive brought the another shoe of same model but the same defect was presented in all the shoes of this model. I was told to choose another model. The model I chose for my girl child was out of stock and the showroom has only one pair of it which was kept for display. That pair was dirty that’s why I rejected to take that pair.

    No other 6 number shoe for girl child was present in this showroom. I requested the Bata executive to refund my money but they refused to refund the money they told me to come tomorrow they will arrange the shoe from their warehouse at some other part of Delhi.

    I requested them to deliver the shoe to my address but the same was refused by the Mr. Lalit Manager of the showroom he told me that the shoe need to be collected from the showroom.

    I request the manager Mr. Lalit to keep the shoe and give me the acknowledgment of the defected shoe has been submitted to the showroom as the purchase was on the same day but they do not agree to do this also. They said they will not receive the show and will not give anything in writing.

    You says innovation is the foundation stone of our company. Innovation is a far away this you products are defected and you don’t even check before delivering it to your customers.

    Now is this my problem to keep running to the showroom or keep following them for this issue which was due to defected product supplied by bata. Who is going to pay for the loss caused to me by wasting my time and other cost like conveyance etc.

    I am going file a suit against Bata in district forum if the shoe is not replaced within 2 days i.e. till Monday evening. I am going to claim all the losses accrued to me by this defected shoe and the losses against emotional torcher to my kid and my family by ruining the special occasion.

    Hello,
    This is praveen from karnataka, I had bought loafers worth Rs- 799. I tried those shoes and told the sales
    executive to pack it, but he packed two shoes of different sizes. I think I would have called them more than 20 times, but they are not responding me..

      To, The Manager Bata India Ltd Dear Sir, I am a regular customer of your reputed Bata brand and it is a really very painful experience I have ever had from a branded company like you. I have purchased Huss Puppies shoes worth Rs 3499/- from "Bata Shoes Store, Shop No.2, Lindsay Street, Kolkata-16 vide cash memo number "E 00005 dated 04.06.16.article number : 8246782 was found defective within 4 months of the purchase. I found the outer sole got cracked and there are cracks in the leather part of both the shoes.Requesting you to please instruct your authorized dealer for the replacement of the same.         I had purchased two pairs of dr scholls during July this year, from Karol Bagh, Bata showroom; both of them have become hollow from inside. we can feel air inside it with irritating sound while walking. It is not even holding the feet to make balance. I start getting pain, the moment I put it on. We spent this much money for the comfort, and it is giving pain, and I am forced to put it off. Bata always claims for 'quality assurance', is it the quality, which has aged just after 2-3 months? They always give assurances over telephone, for customer care, but ground truth is different.
        It is only 3 months before, the pairs have been purchased. Moreover, I have not been credited with bata points for the same.

          I have been a regular customer of Bata. I purchased Hush Puppies earlier. But the recent purchase of mine was really a dissatisfying one.
          On July 20th 2016, 8:40 PM, I bought Power shoes[protected], not within 3 months, the sole getting separated.
          As I was promised by Bata showroom during purchase about replacement warranty, I approached them, but only to get disappointed - coz they denied to replace the product.
          I would be highly obliged If you could help me here to replace my product.
          I also bought sandals in the same purchase. I didn't get this in any offer. Attached are the concerned bill, Price tag and model details

            I purchased one pair from Bata lucknow branch worth of Rs. 400, i can't believing this your shoe broken in just in 24 hours, i asked for refund but they show your rules and etc. i said okay, now i gave 500 more and purchase another one pair of shoe i thought this time this will never broken it will work for at least 3 years but again now this shoe worth of 900 and can't work at least month, it was broke in one week, now I'm totally frustrated and want to say unbearable words to your so called Bata. now tell me what will i do, i have two options one is that go to your Bata branch and be violent & destroy your some stuffs and ask for my money Rs.900, second go for complaint in consumer court against Bata. now tell me what your response about this issue, and option should i opt for this incident.

              I made a purchase from bata india, through their app service (Online) on the 28th july. Within it's warranty period, the pair of sandals were broken; found defective. I registered the complaint on 6th july (#715631) and wrote emails to bata on differents, but i was only provided with different complaint ids and false deadlines. As per thr procedure, i sent the images of the defective product and requested for a pick up. Without any prior, they continued to send pick up facilitaters on different dates. One of them picked my defective product, without giving any reciept or confirmation for the same. Later, the product was sent back to me. I called bata india again and again there was no response.
              I spent 499/- on the product, but more than that the service provided was pathetic and beyond. They have no regard for the patient customer and even by now they have not contacted me.
              This is clearly mental harassment and violation of business ethics.

                  I have purchased above mentioned article, from db city mall, arera hills, bhopal.
                  As bata is a renowned showroom so i have purchased a product on 5/09/2016 and i am facing problem such as

                  -pain and burning sensation in the right feet
                  -lower of the right feet became hard
                  -the black portion in the sole is continuously hitting and making the arch of feet damage
                  -due to this product i am facing such problem from the day 1
                  -your product is responsible for all the sufferings of mine

                  As per your mail we are disappointed for this type of response from your side from such a reputed company

                  Amount paid 1999 rupees in cash to purchase dr scholls chappal which is renowned to solve the problem of feet.
                  But i am surprised to face the problem in feet by wearing your dr scholls product.
                  I went to shop after 3 days of purchasing the product. they told me leave the product we will resolve your problem. then after a week i went there and take the product back but the problem remained as such. they just cut one thread which is looking extra outside the product.
                  As per your mail the damage is due to incidental factors (regular wear & tear) and not due to any quality or manufacturing defect
                  But i am discussing about wear and tear happened to my feet due to using your product

                  But in the context of customer it is totally wrong. we have paid the money we are not getting good comfortable service. what to do? do we have to approach customer cell?

                  So i would like you to sort out this problem as early as possible as it has made me difficult in walking.

                  I hope you would consider customer problem seriously and reply me urgently on top priority basis.

                    Lakshmi here

                    I usually buy products from bata every time because they are durable and very comfortable to walk with.

                    But i recently bought a pair of pink floaters from mantri square, malleswaram, bangalore

                    Im so happy that they are very comfortable when i wore them for the first time . I just wore it once and i felt i should buy it. So I immediately brought them for 999.

                    Later I felt really uncomfortable wearing them for long time. The sole is very good and soft. But the whole problem is the strap for left side floater near the ankle ITS NOT DONE PROPERLY. Its really painful when i wear it. At first I thought it was a new one and its common but its hurting my ankle part badly..

                    I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE.

                        I have purchased a shoe on 25th sept 2016 from irla parle market near andheri . When wore it fr the first time the design is damage thn i went to the store and replace the item and took home the new same article but the same problem arises the design and the shoe is not successfull... i bougth this product fr my back problem bt till now i can not use due to the defective product and no reply from bata even after registering a complaint on toll free number... its now out of my patience level and i want my refund back asap ... shame on u a big brand bata

                          I am really shocked to complaint you becuase i am a bonafied customer of bata shoes, for last 10 years. On[protected] i have purchases power sandel with belt rs-999.99 from your shop at college street at kolkata (The cash memo is laying with me) i use the sandel occationly but sorry to inform you the pesting of that sandel has been open. Not only that i also purchases another power sandel for rs.500.00 i face the same problem on that sandel but unfortuntly i have lost the cash memo of that sandel for that reason the same shop not entertained me on that occation.
                          My question in now should i stop the shoe purchaes for my family from your company or you do some thing for me?

                            This north star casual shoe was bought from bata india pvt ltd retail store sampige road bengaluru on 21-september-2016. I used this shoe only once for about 3 hours not in a rough manner, but after the use i noticed the upper layer of the shoe was peeled out.
                            I went to the bata store regarding this problem with bill and payment invoice for exchange of the shoes, but the reply i got was "this shoe cannot be replaced at this store, you have to call the customer care and register a complaint and they will reply after 3 working days".
                            I have a bill and it has not been a week since this purchase why i should get into such trouble for a simple exchange.

                              My son studying in Birla high school ; Kolkata in class KG .As per school guidelines, we purchased both black and white Velcro shoes from Bata Lindsay Street shop in the month of April, 2016. The sole of white Velcro shoes got detached so soon.It has been worn once in a week .Out of 6 months, the school was closed from 7th may to 13th June on account of summer vacation.We want repair/replacement of the shoes.Invoice copy is misplaced but image of school dairy and fees book enclosed for kind perusal.The school session started from April 4th, 2016

                                I bought a the above ladies slipper costing ₹1699/- from Shop No. 415, 2nd Main, 1st Cross, Ravindra Tagore Nagar Main Rd, Rahmath Nagar, RT Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560032.
                                In seven days the stitch had come out and there was a depression where the big toes imprint on the sole.
                                I went to the shop and showed him the footwear and he said that I should leave it with him and he would get it repaired.
                                I told him I want to lodge a complaint and he refused to take my complaint. The Asst Manager was not cooperative even when I told him that the footwear had stitches coming out in seven days and it is quite unacceptable from a Shoe Company of International reputation. He would still not take my complaint and he said that he is would not take my complaint and if I leave the shoes he would get it repaired in two to three days.
                                Why should I buy a footwear from Bata if it manufacturing defect is is visible within seven days? Why should the shop manager is empowered to replace it ? Why as your loyal customer have to undergo the agony for running up and down to your shop and be ill treated that he refuses to register my complaint?
                                Please give replacement at the earliest to restore faith and trust in your brand name.

                                  I've done online transaction on 13July 2016 at Bata.in of Rs.849. Amount from my account has been deducted but on bata portal site its showing "payment not received". When I called customer care of my bank they said "payment was successful". But when I called customer care of bata they said "your payment has not been received so order is pending". Plz solve this issue. Order no. On bata.in is 12101131. I'm attaching the screenshot for payment made.

                                    I have purchased one pair shoe from bata store on 30.06.2016, but this is regret to say that quality of shoe was very poor not matching with name of Bata. The shoe sole was tore in just 15 days o[censored]se. When I have visited to store, the manager has denied to replace the same and ask me to repair.

                                    They repair the shoe oin very bad manner.
                                    When i called to the customer care, they denied to resolve the issue. Both the dealer and Customer care are not responding. I have also email to the customer care but they are not replying. I am feeling cheated now, I have purchased Bata shoe because of its name and brand value. If I have to wear repaired shoe then why I was purchased expensive shoe of Bata, can purchased 3 pairs shoe of any local company and they will serve more than Bata.
                                    I am requesting you to look in to this matter and resolve the same. I want replacement of shoe, as the shoe sole was tore in just 15 days o[censored]se.

                                      It's not even a month I got sandals in bata showroom, pondy bazaar, chennai.. I wore for a week and the stitches were very bad and t got torn.. Now again second pair of sandals tore.. The stitches are not good... Bata s a well-known shop and it's really damn bad to say tht bata is giving such worst quality... And the worst part is, this pondy bazaar showroom people are not responding properly... Please teach them how to respond to customers in a good way... Am totally frustrated on this.. I can't jus keep on going n arguing with those showroom people... They are very casual wen I say things n a serious way.. It's really damn irritating ... I regret for buying sandals in BATA...

                                        We wished to visit Bata showroom on last Saturday at vaishali nagar Jaipur.
                                        Arun Mathur stopped us to enter the showroom at 7.50 pm and pushed us out of showroom and closed the door .
                                        When I told him to complain about such behaviour he told do complaint any where you wish.
                                        It was very harassing as this happened in front of staff and other customer .
                                        If Bata has this type of customer approach it will be very problematic for all customers.
