Hi, i bought sandles from bata showroom, bangalore. They were faulty. I called up customer care. They have sent a mail to me to visit same showroom.
When i went there, store manager and staff was very rude as if i am asking some favour to them and store manager was asking me (I do not control your customer care) that why he is not cc in that mail and he can't do anything about it. He asked me to visit tomorrow then he will see what he can do.
I think he is still leaving in that babu era where this type of response use to work. I do not have so much of time to visit again. More than product it's his behaviour that was faulty. I definitely wanted to have some resolution for product but it doesn't seem worth anymore after his so rude behaviour.

    Having regards to bata shoes, i had visited bata showroom yesterday 21 jun 2016 at rbi colony jp nagar 7 phase bangalore-78 to purchase a school shoe for my daughter.

    We got the desired shoe of our choice for a cost of inr 499.00. Having paid the cashier through a cash of inr 500.00, i was expecting the cashier to pay back the change which he did not. When i asked for a confirmation on the cost and thereby a change back, i was told that the bag that they provided costs more than 1 inr and i should actually pay the cost of the bag.

    The issue here is 2 folds:

    A. The change that the cashier refused to pay is now a black money as he did not put that in the receipt nor agreed to pay it back either to the consumer or the bata company itself...

    This is a case of cheating both the company where he works and also the consumer who made the mistake of going into the showroom thinking of the brand name. Since he is employed by the company, company also should be held responsible for the act of their employees.

    B. If the bag cover costs and is to be owned by the consumer, the showroom should display thr information to the consumer so that the consumer is able to make a decision if they would need the bag or not for a cost... The bag cost should not be a topic of discussion only when the cashier is confronted to pay back the change they deserve.

    I would like to know what actions are taken on this respect.

    I had sent a complaint query to Bata through their website too...for which I got a call from them enquiring about my complaint. Based on the discussion with their customer service personnel (who assured escalating this issue to his higher authorities), I shared the cash memo with them.

    Hopefully, they will take appropriate action on this aspect.

      I purchased a shoe product code F[protected]ZEBRA on 27/04/2016 from Savitri Commercial complex Boring Road, Patna and it has warranty for 60 days. Within 1.5 month it's upper material has been discolored. I went to the Bata showroom from where i bought that shoe but they didn't even notice my problem and wasn't ready to hear atleast what i had to say. I want a solution for this and exchange of the product because as i think this problem falls under warranty and i can get the value of my money.

        I purchased a pair of bata shoes on 17/10/2015 from bata showroom at kanakapura road, jayanagar 7th block for rs.2300/-. However, right leg shoes has torn a side within 6 months of the purchase. As per the showroom executive it cannot be repaired and instead of giving a solution he insisted me to consult bata customer care. Since bata has a very good reputation and we have used the shoes from our childhood, we had purchased the shoes for its durability.
        Since i cannot throw away those expensive shoes within 6 month. Kindly help in getting replacement or getting repaired, photos attached

          Had purchased bata shoes on 1/11/2015 from their showroom at malad link road, chincholi bunder for rs.3000/- plus. However, right leg shoes has torn the side within 6 months of the purchase. It cannot be repaired as informed by the showroom official. Bata, because of its high reputation we had purchased the shoes for its durability.
          Cannot afford to throw away those expensive shoes within 6 month. Kindly help in getting replacement with new shoes. Pictures attached

            I and my husband were highly disappointed with the service provided at Bata showroom of Suncity, Hyderabad.None of the few sales ppl attended or bother to even ask for any help( we were here to buy shoes for our kid).After waiting for few minutes my husband asked one of the person there n he seemed so lazy that he did not respond well and was talking in rude manner as if we were there to do window shopping or going to buy from his pocket money.This kind of attitude from a sales person is not acceptable.Now we won't buy or go to this particular showroom for sure.Pathetic experience of my entire life.

              I purchased a Shoe (Product no - F[protected]) from Bata showroom located at No. 418, 24th cross, 9th main, Banashankari 2nd stage - Bangalore - 70 on 14th May 2016 for INR 2000.00. Bill No[protected]/1/[protected]. Within one week o[censored]sing it I noticed that there is a opening at the back bottom of the right leg shoes. I brought it to the notice of Store Manager (Thimmaiah) on 29th May 2015. He inspected the shoes & suggested me to come on next Saturday around 11.30 am (ie, 04th June 2016) to collect the replacement. I again went to the showroom on 04th June around 12.30 pm with the defective shoes asking for replacement. But to my surprise they again showed me a defective piece of the same product & price & asked me to take it.I rejected it. Then they showed me a different shoes for the same price which i rejected it. When i rejected both the options they gave me an option to either take it or pay extra & buy a new shoes or wait till a new product arrives. I had to have a heated argument with the Store manger & also told him that you people cannot take customers for ride & cannot ask them to come to store whenever you want. The Language used by Store Manager was very harsh & he is not worried about the Customers expectations. He even told me that the Shop is not opened only for me. We have other customers as well & we don't care towards your complaint. Then I realized why he asked me to come to the Showroom during afternoon. This is to avoid embarrassment in front of other customers. Generally customers will visit showrooms rarely during afternoons.Finally he took my Mobile number & told me that they will call me by next week to collect the replacement. As on today I'm yet to receive the call from Showroom. Also i have logged in 2 complaints against Defective Product & Misbehavior by the Store Manager ( Complaints No - 641807 & 641811 dt 04.06.2016) with Bata India Ltd. As on today no action has been taken by Bata India. I have received a mail from Customer care team to revisit the showroom with the defective shoes & the Store Manager will inspect the defective product for which I replied that the mentioned process has already been completed by the Store Manager. This shows the attitude of Bata India towards Customer complaints.I have now decided not to buy any future products from Bata India for their irresponsible behavior & don't care attitude towards customers. I will communicate this experience towards my well wishers & friends & suggest them not to buy any Bata products.

                I purshased the shoes from indore showroom (456 rnt marg, choti gwaltoli) on 23rd march worth rs. 3500. It was under a warranty of 2 months, within 30 days the sole was completely damaged and we went back to the showroom for an exchange on 12th may. I was told to leave the shows there and collect the exchanged piece after a week. We went back to collect the shoes after 10 day's, the new shoes given were of inferior quality and priced at 2300.
                Please let me know why there is a difference in price and quality. I have not yet used these new shoes itis packed and not planning to use them further. Let me know how to replace them as i am out of city these days.

                  Dear team,

                  i have purchased a bata shoes on 05/06/2016 form bata showroom gip noida. Salesman told me to just try it, if there would be size issue, i will exchange. When i reached on 07/06/2016. He is saying it is used we can not exchanged it. I have not used it. A very small (1/2 cm) light screech at the sole is appearing since i have purchased.

                  I need exchange. I also lodged a complaint in bata customer service.

I am very disappointed with the quality as i thought bata is a brand and will give good quality.                       I purchased weinburger shoes in January 2016 at Bata outlet at S.D.Road, clock tower, secunderabad Telangana.

                      Since one month, to my surprise only one of the shoes changed colour as shown in picture attached herewith .

                      I showed to same outlet where I purchased - they accepted colour change of only one shoe and adviced us to mail complaint to Company.

                        I usually reach up to bata store expecting good products and service. This time I had a rather bitter experience.

                        I was at your bata store at Changanacherry, Near Bishop House on the Changanacherry Railway Station Road, Kerala about 30 min back. There were no body to help us and the boys there were not even near to help us chose a pair of slippers. When I complained they said that they cannot do much about it as they are understaffed !!

                          I purchased a pair of shoes for my daughter on 1st June 2016. It was almost correct at the trial in the Bata Shop. But when she put on the shoes at home for more than an hour, her feet began to pain as the shoes is narrow and my daughter has broad feet. I went back to the Bata Show Room on the 5th of June to exchange the shoes for a broader pair who than advised us that all the pairs are narrow. They asked me to exchange it for a bigger pair which is narrow as well. I said that it will still not solve the issue. I then said that I don't want a refund but at least allow me to purchase something else for that same cost. They then said that is not possible even though the bill says that it can be exchanged in 15 days. I am attaching a copy of the bill which has all the details.

                            Hi,
                            i received 2 messages from bata saying i should show before a certain date and redeem points and when i went to their store in powai the storekeepers are not willing to the discount for the redemption as stated in sms (sms asks us to rush to bata store for getting the discount! And when we rush they decline it).they are saying they dont have internet connection.expect bata to welcome their customers and be ready resolve their queries rather than being a problem themselves. Whats the use of running loyalty programs then...
                            Very unhappy with non cooperation of bata powai store which is near iit powai.

                              I have bought one pair safety shoe from bata showroom, asansol last day[protected]. Today i used it for the first time & see the condition of the shoes (Pic attached). Within hours, different portions started wearing out on road & i was apprehensive that anytime the soles will be detached & i will be in a awkward position. Wearing these shoes i started my industrial tour away from my home & the shoe where i bought it & shall only return after 10-12 days. I was forced to buy another pair of shoes which was of no use otherwise. Last 10-15 years o[censored]sing bata safety shoes i never experienced such horrible experience. M/s bata india to compensate me for the physical & psychological harassment suffered by me.

                                Dear concern,

                                Greetings of the day.

                                With great dissatisfaction i am writing this mail to you for quick closure. I bought a bata shoe on 1st march (Bill enclosed). After using few days it got defected (Pic attached). I registered a complain regarding this on your toll free no and the reference no is 627773. After lodging the complaint i am constantly following up but not getting any resolution. All the times your agents are only making lame excuses and not providing solution. I called below agents on various dates :-

                                Prakriti 26may very rude & impatient to hear my probs. It seems that the only target is to close the call & increase call count. Surprisingly, all of your four agents are good for nothing. No customer service approach. Asking for an hour time for callback but not received yet.
                                Vishal varma 24may no status. Only committing that you will get the solution but when, he is unable to answer. Commited that i will get a callback withing 8 hours but after more than 72 hours didn't got any call. Again a fake commitment.
                                Ajit kumar 16may put the complain on priority and asked for three more days to get the final solution
                                Kasis garg 12 may registered the complaint and promised that i will get the mail through mail withing 2 working days.


                                Now this is my final level of escalation regarding the issue. Also i am deeply dissatisfied & surprised with your customer support team. Not a single senior member is available to help out the customers at any point of time. It's was never expected from a brand like you. If you are only concerned with sale then it's good team but if you are really looking for after sales support, then i don't have words to explain the productivity of your team. The customer support team is really good for nothing. As per my experience, your toll free no is totally wastage of time and money in terms of complaint resolution.

                                Looking for a quick and positive closure.

                                  I have lodged complaint with Bata India Ltd on 13 May 2016 for extending the validity of gift vouchers ( nos C[protected], C[protected] and C[protected] as I could not use them within the validity time due to my tight travel schedule and just missed. The issue date was 14 Oct 2015 and six months validity.The complaint no is 628348.I was told that this will be addressed within 72 hrs from the complaint date but till now I did not get any solution..

                                  This is a genuine request from a loyal customer who could not avail the privilege o[censored]sing the gift vouchers as I was away from India and validity was missed.

                                  So request to do the needful in extending the validity of the said vouchers at least for one month from this date so that I redeem them and also make a purchase with Bata outlet.Please accept my genuine request and do the needful.

                                    I am a regular user of your product jalsa since last 20yrs.
                                    This time i. E 3 months back, i bought a pair of jalsa size 6 brown color shoes. Now the issue is on the left side of the left pair its getting tearing off. What i came to notice that on that side the thickness of the material is comparatively less. This a few weeks back i went to the dealer which is at mavoor road, near bus stand, calicut, and i told and they gave me a very good service. They repaired and gave. But now again i am facing the same situation. Its getting tearing off again.
                                    Kindly look into the matter and do the needful. With great regret and sadness i am writing this.

                                      I have purchase a bata shoes article no 8084444 from the store no 69002NEP STORE of the price MRP 1800/- in feb 2016 which is highly advertise by bata executive at shop and he make my mindset to buy this design shoes. I also a long time user of Bata. I found within a month time the shoes are cracked in multiple places on front side. the clothes area of shoes are getting cracked day by day. which is really very frustrating to bata brand. and its loosed my confidence. please change this model asap or return, replace this shoes or return my money so that I can buy new one better article. This is very poor choice and I am really loosing. confidence on bata product now. if possible call me on my cell [protected]. I had drop my shows at shopkeeper but his behavior was very massy. Now I am thinking to reach out on consumer court. please do the needful asap. I am waiting for your immediate action on this.

                                        I had recently purchased a Marie Claire Handbag from Bata Showroom, 1st Floor in Phoenix Market City, Chennai i.e., on 15-April-2016. I had hardly used it for a week and the bag started tearing off, unfortunately the bill was discarded as the purchase was a month old, but had proof in my credit card statement. When contacted the shop initially they agreed to replace but later they refused stating that they don't have bill copy nor proof of purchase in their system- we spoke to their Manager's. They were also behaving in an unruly manner to us and reiterating that the original receipt is required as per policy . I would like your kind intervention to sort this out asap.
