    I have purchased shoes worth rs.1500/- by online recd on 13/6/2016. after few days i found soles are coming out from front side. i registered complaint on28/6/2016 complain number is 660102. after followup on 30/6/2016 they have asked me to wait for 48 hours. i called up customer service on 1/7/2016. i received main on 2/7 to submit photographs of shoes with reference number 662979. i sent photographs through mail immediately. i again called up service center and got replay that wait for 48 hours and recd mail with new reference number 665564 on 5/7/2016. i got another reference number 668074 and 668101 on 8/7/2016. till today nobody is responsible to answer my complaint to my satisfaction. i think no one should buy now bata products through store or online. it seems that bata is not interested to do their business or not worried for customers.

    I request consumer protection cell should take interest and take action against bata to provide proper service.

      Dear team,

      I purchased footwear worth rs. 1000/- for monsoon season from crawford market store in mumbai. i was provided wrong information by one of your bata seller member that it can be used for all season however it got damaged while using for just one month and can't be wore further again. i had also gone to store again for exchange but they did not listened to me instead they behaved ridiculously and rudely. just imagine yourself at my place and think about how difficulties you had to face and anger if there's no positive approach, respond and service. is this kind of service that you provide. this can have negative impact and can affect your brand image or goodwill and you might loose your customer and decrease in profit.
      I and my family wear your brand since 20 years and for the first time i am very upset with the quality of your service. i request you to exchange my footwear or refund my amount, if not, i may take legal actions against your organisation and will lodge a complain in consumer court according to consumer protection act 1986.

      I purchased an article a month ago, and it was completely destroyed just within three weeks of purchase. i have tried to complain on the helpline number provided by the company, but i am unable to register it, so i had to complain online.

        I brought a shoe from bata from no 12, 7th cross, 2nd main hgh layout, ganganagar, bangalore-32 dated 20/06/2016 i went to my office with the shoes on. within a day the shoe got cracked with all the soles out. hence i went to the shop and got that exchanged to another. the new shoe too got damaged within a day with all wrinkles and crack. when i visited the shop to get exchanged they told me that it cannot be exchanged and i will have to wear the same one. upon a lot of request they asked to mail to their customer care on customer. [protected]@bata.co.in. i sent all the pics of the defected shoes. since then its more than 20 days now. they raised several requests: 659473, 656646. 667117. they respond in 5-6 days and clear that its not their manufacturing fault. upon complaining they again raise a new request with a new reference number.

        I request consumer forum to blacklist this company as its not fit for customer service and get me justice.

        I still dont see any response on this concern from Bata. Seems like they do not care of Consumer Portal. I would like to ask Consumer Portal if we have any Escalation Matrix for this or i can file a case in High Court, Please do let me know so i can proceed.

          Last week, ie on 3rd july 2016 i bought a pair of shoes from bata showroom situated in old madras road, k r puram bangalore and the phone no. given in the bill is [protected].The shoes are black in colour and bow is attached to it with buttons. The problem is these bows are not attached to the shoes properly and it always comes out while i walk and i have to press it again on the shoes and i lost one bow after a week and now i cant wear shoes outside because it doesnt look good and i went to this particular
          showroom regarding this issue and i
          asked them to get me a new bow for
          which i said i will pay money or to get my shoes replaced but the way they behaved
          was so bad, they were literaly fighting
          with me for this small issue and asked me
          to complaint if i need. Is this the way a
          good brand should perform and is this the service u provide to ur customers. I was a customer of bata for 2 years and i dont think i will buy bata products anymore after this experience. Such a worst experience i got from buying your product. The CST no. written on my bill is 90550018 and TIN no is [protected] and price of the shoes is rs.999. Let me see whether you can take any action for this or not.

            I bought a shoes online the shoes is manufacturing defect then i lodge a complain in Bata customer services complain no is 657856 but the service response like zero no action will be taken by the company side and customer suffered getting the defective article. So i request to you please take necessary action for harries to customer.

              I purchased the bata shoes from bata shoe store (564/02629) 4d mall motera ahmedabad 382424 gujarat on 04/11/2015 f[protected] worth rs 1299.00.[protected]×999 10. but using shoes after 4 months the showl of the shoes cracked at bottom. i was shocked once again. (shocked before six years also for same problem). i was regular customer of bata and fond of mocasscino shoes. but after the problem before six years i decided to not wear bata shoes. but again i think for bata and purchased on 04/11/2016 but again after facing the same problem i'm shocked that bata the reputed company for footwear giving this type of quality. i know that after seven months company can't do any thing infavour of me to repair or replace the shoes. my question is only that bata the well reputed company in footwear why giving such type of quality and playing with emotions of valuable customers? my shoes should be replaced or not that is secondary. i hope that if bata is reputed company it will surely look in my matter and do something needful to save his customers.

                I had bonus cash point of Rs 100 which were supposed to expire on 24-Jun-2016. I went to the Bata showroom to redeem it during purchase of another item but store refused to accept it. There claim was that their systems are down from past 1 week and will be down for next week.

                System down is not customer problem. Bata stores should redeem points even if the systems were down or redeem at a later date.

                Moreover, I got my bill done without redeeming the points. After few days I got an sms from bata that you have some number of points from purchase on 24th June.
                So if the old bills of date 24-June (on paper receipts) can be added later for the points obtained, why can't Bata redeem the points in the earlier bill.

                I request you to look into this matter because this is not a matter of 100 points but of a customer cheating and satisfaction.

                    I purchased a handbag worth rs. 3600 and it's hanging strap got detached due to some manufacturing defects which cannot be repaired as what the store manager has told. Plz resolve my complaint as soon as possible as I hv visited store and called customer care several times. We rely on ur products due to ur services only.                       Hi, i bought sandles from bata showroom, bangalore. They were faulty. I called up customer care. They have sent a mail to me to visit same showroom.
                      When i went there, store manager and staff was very rude as if i am asking some favour to them and store manager was asking me (I do not control your customer care) that why he is not cc in that mail and he can't do anything about it. He asked me to visit tomorrow then he will see what he can do.
                      I think he is still leaving in that babu era where this type of response use to work. I do not have so much of time to visit again. More than product it's his behaviour that was faulty. I definitely wanted to have some resolution for product but it doesn't seem worth anymore after his so rude behaviour.

                        Having regards to bata shoes, i had visited bata showroom yesterday 21 jun 2016 at rbi colony jp nagar 7 phase bangalore-78 to purchase a school shoe for my daughter.

                        We got the desired shoe of our choice for a cost of inr 499.00. Having paid the cashier through a cash of inr 500.00, i was expecting the cashier to pay back the change which he did not. When i asked for a confirmation on the cost and thereby a change back, i was told that the bag that they provided costs more than 1 inr and i should actually pay the cost of the bag.

                        The issue here is 2 folds:

                        A. The change that the cashier refused to pay is now a black money as he did not put that in the receipt nor agreed to pay it back either to the consumer or the bata company itself...

                        This is a case of cheating both the company where he works and also the consumer who made the mistake of going into the showroom thinking of the brand name. Since he is employed by the company, company also should be held responsible for the act of their employees.

                        B. If the bag cover costs and is to be owned by the consumer, the showroom should display thr information to the consumer so that the consumer is able to make a decision if they would need the bag or not for a cost... The bag cost should not be a topic of discussion only when the cashier is confronted to pay back the change they deserve.

                        I would like to know what actions are taken on this respect.

                        I had sent a complaint query to Bata through their website too...for which I got a call from them enquiring about my complaint. Based on the discussion with their customer service personnel (who assured escalating this issue to his higher authorities), I shared the cash memo with them.

                        Hopefully, they will take appropriate action on this aspect.

                          I purchased a shoe product code F[protected]ZEBRA on 27/04/2016 from Savitri Commercial complex Boring Road, Patna and it has warranty for 60 days. Within 1.5 month it's upper material has been discolored. I went to the Bata showroom from where i bought that shoe but they didn't even notice my problem and wasn't ready to hear atleast what i had to say. I want a solution for this and exchange of the product because as i think this problem falls under warranty and i can get the value of my money.

                            I purchased a pair of bata shoes on 17/10/2015 from bata showroom at kanakapura road, jayanagar 7th block for rs.2300/-. However, right leg shoes has torn a side within 6 months of the purchase. As per the showroom executive it cannot be repaired and instead of giving a solution he insisted me to consult bata customer care. Since bata has a very good reputation and we have used the shoes from our childhood, we had purchased the shoes for its durability.
                            Since i cannot throw away those expensive shoes within 6 month. Kindly help in getting replacement or getting repaired, photos attached

                              Had purchased bata shoes on 1/11/2015 from their showroom at malad link road, chincholi bunder for rs.3000/- plus. However, right leg shoes has torn the side within 6 months of the purchase. It cannot be repaired as informed by the showroom official. Bata, because of its high reputation we had purchased the shoes for its durability.
                              Cannot afford to throw away those expensive shoes within 6 month. Kindly help in getting replacement with new shoes. Pictures attached

                                I and my husband were highly disappointed with the service provided at Bata showroom of Suncity, Hyderabad.None of the few sales ppl attended or bother to even ask for any help( we were here to buy shoes for our kid).After waiting for few minutes my husband asked one of the person there n he seemed so lazy that he did not respond well and was talking in rude manner as if we were there to do window shopping or going to buy from his pocket money.This kind of attitude from a sales person is not acceptable.Now we won't buy or go to this particular showroom for sure.Pathetic experience of my entire life.

                                  I purchased a Shoe (Product no - F[protected]) from Bata showroom located at No. 418, 24th cross, 9th main, Banashankari 2nd stage - Bangalore - 70 on 14th May 2016 for INR 2000.00. Bill No[protected]/1/[protected]. Within one week o[censored]sing it I noticed that there is a opening at the back bottom of the right leg shoes. I brought it to the notice of Store Manager (Thimmaiah) on 29th May 2015. He inspected the shoes & suggested me to come on next Saturday around 11.30 am (ie, 04th June 2016) to collect the replacement. I again went to the showroom on 04th June around 12.30 pm with the defective shoes asking for replacement. But to my surprise they again showed me a defective piece of the same product & price & asked me to take it.I rejected it. Then they showed me a different shoes for the same price which i rejected it. When i rejected both the options they gave me an option to either take it or pay extra & buy a new shoes or wait till a new product arrives. I had to have a heated argument with the Store manger & also told him that you people cannot take customers for ride & cannot ask them to come to store whenever you want. The Language used by Store Manager was very harsh & he is not worried about the Customers expectations. He even told me that the Shop is not opened only for me. We have other customers as well & we don't care towards your complaint. Then I realized why he asked me to come to the Showroom during afternoon. This is to avoid embarrassment in front of other customers. Generally customers will visit showrooms rarely during afternoons.Finally he took my Mobile number & told me that they will call me by next week to collect the replacement. As on today I'm yet to receive the call from Showroom. Also i have logged in 2 complaints against Defective Product & Misbehavior by the Store Manager ( Complaints No - 641807 & 641811 dt 04.06.2016) with Bata India Ltd. As on today no action has been taken by Bata India. I have received a mail from Customer care team to revisit the showroom with the defective shoes & the Store Manager will inspect the defective product for which I replied that the mentioned process has already been completed by the Store Manager. This shows the attitude of Bata India towards Customer complaints.I have now decided not to buy any future products from Bata India for their irresponsible behavior & don't care attitude towards customers. I will communicate this experience towards my well wishers & friends & suggest them not to buy any Bata products.

                                    I purshased the shoes from indore showroom (456 rnt marg, choti gwaltoli) on 23rd march worth rs. 3500. It was under a warranty of 2 months, within 30 days the sole was completely damaged and we went back to the showroom for an exchange on 12th may. I was told to leave the shows there and collect the exchanged piece after a week. We went back to collect the shoes after 10 day's, the new shoes given were of inferior quality and priced at 2300.
                                    Please let me know why there is a difference in price and quality. I have not yet used these new shoes itis packed and not planning to use them further. Let me know how to replace them as i am out of city these days.

                                      Dear team,

                                      i have purchased a bata shoes on 05/06/2016 form bata showroom gip noida. Salesman told me to just try it, if there would be size issue, i will exchange. When i reached on 07/06/2016. He is saying it is used we can not exchanged it. I have not used it. A very small (1/2 cm) light screech at the sole is appearing since i have purchased.

                                      I need exchange. I also lodged a complaint in bata customer service.
