Hi - after getting a approval for 50% replacement given below - now bata is saying they will not entertain such request

Greetings for the day.

We thank you for being our valuable customer and appreciate your feedback.

Further to the information provided by you and feedback from our store, we are happy to extend a 50% replacement for the product. Kindly follow the below procedure for replacement;

1. We will replace with the same product (Article number / model) and size if available at the store.

2. If the same product (Article/model) is not available in the store (Due to non availability of same model, size, color etc) you can avail the replacement with any other product of equal or higher value. The difference of higher value needs to be paid by you.

3. Please note that there is no cash refund. Also, in case of replacement with a lower value item, there will be no refund of differential amount.

4. Damaged product must be submitted to bata for replacement – mandatory.

Recently i bough sports shoe at your showroom No.78, Gopathi Narayan Road, Parthasarathy Puram, T Nagar, The shoe model No : 808-9439. Both the shoe color and stitching was damaged due to some quality issue. replace the same modal shoe or replace the bill amount. Here with i attached the shoe photo for your reference.

Bough a pair footwear from hush puppies show room at sri nidhi, 27th main road,[protected], 27th main rd, 1st sector, hsr layout 5th sector, hsr layout, karnataka 560102, in jan 16. Found the pair is not identical, it is of different size but written no. 8 on pair and defective stitching defect towards the end of feb 2016, use the footwear once in a week and been hardly used for 20 odd days. As i keep traveling could not get a chance to visit the show room. Recently after coming back from germany visited their show room and explained the case. They refused to accept the replacement as it is over 6 months. I have also explained that i keep traveling and most of the time. Requested them to talk to their customer support head and let me know. Till date i have not received any call from them. It looks like my money is gone in drain. I hope bata being reputed organization takes care of his customers and ensure customers remain loyal.
Now my location is changed to gurgaon, i have reached some of the bata store but no response. Please do the needful.

I am regular customer of bata showroom which resides in parel location.
On dated 5th july i purchased shoes no 551-8312 with cost 999 from store no 02048 (Parel showroom)
Within 2 weeks the shoe is in bad shape, its sole is broken, i have already visited bata showroom and had word with them, they suggested me to contact here.

This is my first time bad experience with bata in over 10 yrs purchasing experience, i will be grateful if you can help me out in this.

Bought a pair of blue chappals (model number[protected] worth 699 rs. from calict bata showroom on[protected] for my wife, that's a day before. and the chappal got torn off just in one days use. i am really disappointed in bata with this poor quality of product. even the local products will last at least a month, so what's the use of buying branded chappals like bata that can't even last a day., that also worth high price. i will attach the photo as the proof. hope at least your customer service will not disappoint me.

It has been mentioned on the cash memo that "exchange within 15 days from date of purchase" and there is no clause that customer cannot exchange the shoe if he has used it on road within 15 days.

However, on[protected], the shop dealer is not ready to exchange the shoe as it has been used on road.

I am your valuable costumer last many years... I have bought bata floaters 2 months ago... And within 2 months sole has broken.. As company gives 3 months warranty so i submitted my floaters to ur kamla nagar outlet. But after 1 month they are giving back to me without changing my floaters sole... I m not satisfied with this product now.. As it is not in good condition.
Customer goes with brand not to pay more.. Just he or she believes it will work for long time...
Please don't break my believe on bata company.
Kindly change it.. Or do the needful..

I have purchased a shoe from bata showroom on[protected] from (city center mall mangalore) the shoe soul is completely open into criticed. i have wored shoe only one week. the shoe material is comparatively cheap and worst experience ever. the shoe soul gum is fully slired and it cannot be repaired

I have purchased a shoe from santha kumar silla a/7 deen dayal market korba 495678 bill no. 891 dated 24/04/2016 the sole of shoe teared badly and at some places it came out as junk. When i went to the shop i was told that as it is more than 75 days they are unable to do any favor. I have been using bata shoes from very beginning, and it never tears like this. Please do whatever you can do for it, as 75 days period is too less, how can one expect that shoe of bata will be unserviceable in 75 days. Please make arrangements to replace it. Thanks in anticipation.

I bought this footwear on 20.7.2016 with 50% offer.with in 20 days it is became very worst.amd I bought it for 800rs.

I ordered through Bata online website for a "Men's Brown Outdoor Shoes" vide Order No.[protected]/06/2016.
I received the materials on 04/07/2016. After using it for three days it got repaired in steel lace hooks.
I placed an online complaint with track Id - 667983 dated 08/07/2016.
I returned the product to their Bangalore address through Blue Dart Courier vide their Consignment No.[protected] dated 23/07/2016.
On 10/08/2016 I received the product "as-it-is" through Blue Dart Courier.
If they don't wish to replace or servicing the product then why they asked me to return the product?
They sell inferior goods at their online portal and cheat the customers.
Just waste of money.

I brought all season shoes, its skin peeling in a months time local 200 rupees shoes run for 6 monthss and bata shoes skeeling in 1 month

One thing is i feel cheated giving such a crap product, since i had only leather shoes i wore that even that too spoiled due to rain, just because of this bakwas product i lost in always,

Being a such a brand why bata loot people in the name of recognized brand

I got a message from Bata that I had points worth Rs. 155.98 in my account and validity of the same was till 31 Jul 2016. I went to Bata showroom(Bata Kondapur, Hyderabad) on 31 July for purchasing footwear and while billing the branch Manager - Krishna Reddy ([protected]) redeemed these points but these did not reflect in the bill. He called customer care for the justification and lady on the phone told that points could not be reversed. And branch manager told me that it is not his fault and it is the fault of the system.

So it means, the points are used but I could not make a purchase. I have mailed multiple time to in-customer.[protected]@bata.com but I am not getting any reply. Let me know if I can expect any action from your side on this or you are happy to loose customer because of your manager's fault.

Sir, I am a regular customer of Bata products, on July 30, 2016, I purchased a pair of chappals (photos of receipt and chappals attached) from Noor Agency, Tiruverambur, Trichy, Tamil Nadu. With in a week it is damaged due to faulty stitching. When approached Noor Agency they demanded for receipt by chance as I was having receipt, he told me to being it next day and it will take 2 days to rectify it. This upsets me, if I would have lost my receipt he must have refused to entertain me. It is not expected from a dealer of such a reputed product. I seek a solution from an appropriate person of your company. Thank you

This is to bring to your notice about the really embarrassing service that I received from one of your outlets at Ambernath.
I needed a rainy formals and the seller at your vendor outlet showed me a pair which I purchased out of sole trust on the brand. But to my dismay, just two weeks after the purchase, water started seeping in. The sole was in a sorry state and to add to the pain, the shoe developed a major cut when a co- traveller stepped over it just today.
When the concern was taken to the outlet, the so called sweet talking fake vendor refrained from accepting the damaged pair and started blaming me instead. After an altercation, he agreed to do some patch work to fix the same.

I wonder where the customer relation etiquette of Bata has disappeared. The money aint a concern out here, but fooling a loyal bata customer with false commitments has forced me to write this post across.

I purchased a bata chappal worth 700 from bowelpally bata store, secunderabad with no 871-7223 on 17th july. Ten days after that from the front portion the gum has come out and on 28th july i gave it for repair. It was promised that within two days it will be repaired but it didn't happen. After that they asked one more day which was willingly given too, but the repair work has not been done. Again one more day was asked and it was given...

I purchased dr scholl slippers from bata showroom branch in uttam nagar in december 2015.

Its not been even a year, all the threads are coming out. The sole has came out.

The quality of the product is very bad despite of it being expensive.

I would like you to please exchange the piece, as one doesnt purchase such costly things for few months

I purchased from college street bata store one hush puppies as per image in 2015 @ rs 2399/=. On june 2016 the front portion detached. I used the shoe occasionally with great care but still that happened. I could not imagine from bata's products will be so defective and i am a customer of baba last 40 years.
