I have registered a complaint telephonically on[protected] regarding defects in stitching of power jogger shoes purchased from CSD 5762-21 Sub Area Canteen, 21 SUB AREA DRC C/O S6 APO. My complaint no. is 438562 registered on[protected]. It is very heartening that after a lapse of 10 days, I have not received any resolution till date.

    Dear Concern,

    Greetings, I hope my mail finds you well.

    At the outset I would like to inform you that my latest experience with your "brand" in very unpleasant. I’m one of your loyal customers. Matter of fact is my entire family is fond of “ BATA’’ .But I must say quality of your product degraded drastically of late . I’m summarizing for you the incident with great regret .I purchased a ladies sandal around five months back from your Rajarhat City Center 2 store. It’s worth Rs.499.But surprisingly it’s got spoiled just after few usage. .Hardly I wear it three to four times which you can find out from the attached pics .Both pair’s pasting opened just after couple o[censored]sage .it’s really unprecedented from a "Brand, , like your stature.

    I know am bit late to escalate the issue but trust me due to time constraint unable to report it earlier & even was hesitant to do so. I believe the matter will get treated with adequate fairness which in turn will again enable me to build the trust against the brand.

    Hi,
    Am yet to receive any communication from your end .Kindly note article number of sandal as 571-2168 & MRP of the same is Rs.499 . At first I personally approached to Bistupur, Jamshedpur Bata branch but they denied it straight away citing reason that its purchased from Kolkata so nothing can be done.Now when I back to kolkata & went to city center 2 Bata one of your CCE advise me to bring the issue on your notice .Unfortunately invoice is turned into just a white piece of paper (thermal paper print ) within 15 days of purchase so I remove it from my wallet .I purchased it around last week of April .
    Looking forward to your soonest reply & positive resolution.

      Hello. This complaint is regarding your Virar (west) branch. Today me and my wife went to your store for purchasing shoes and sandal. The salesperson was very rude in his behavior. My wife liked a sandal and asked him if you have the same sandal in a different color, he replied that this is only pair we have. However after some time we found out the same sandal in a different color on another shelf. When we were looking for some more sandals he said that you have already gone through our product on a previous shelf why do you want to see more?. This was highly unprofessional behavior and we left without purchasing anything. Is Bata giving away Sandals/Shoes for free and that's why your salespeople behave so rudely with customers?

        This is to infoem you that I have purchased chappals article no.[protected] size 6, from BATA franchise store shop no. 7, 8, 9, 10, Anant-3, Co-op. Hsg., society, Ostwal empire, Boisar 401501 on 13.06.2015 but within one month the chappals were torn out and the store is not ready to replace the chappals, though they are ready only to repair .           Sir, I would like to mention here that I had purchased a pair of chappals for my wife from the BATA showroom at Court Circle, P.B. Road, DHARWAD Karnataka on[protected] with my debit card. The cost of chappals along with a pair of socks was Rs. 518. The shop has delivered two chappals with two different numbers of 5 and 7. All these days my was negotiating to use these chappals without any idea of different sized chappals. Mean time she was getting swelling in her feet as a result of this (How can we expect that shop will give us chappals of two different sizes). When I examined closely I came to know about the the fact. The shop has not taken the chappals back saying that I have to bring the receipt. I do not have the receipt now. But I have a proof that I have purchased it through my debit card[protected] with POS No. as 812789 for Rs. 518. Will this not be sufficient to get a replacement for new Chappals. This is simply the negligence of the staff at the BATA shop. Now I request you to intervene in this matter and replace the chappals or direct the concerned to issue new chappals.             I have bought the chappal from Bata store at Vadodara - Gujarat location for Rs. 750. Now, while walking there is some noice is coming which is very irritating. The shoe sole quality very good but i dont understand why this noice is coming. Bata company's quality department should check this.

              I purchased a slipper of Rs.149 from Bata Garia store, Kolkata. They noted my mobile number and I got a SMS from them stated that I got 1 point and Rs.50 off on any product on my next buy within 30 days. I again visited that particular Bata store within 4 days and purchased another slipper Of Rs, 149 and after deducting that Rs.50, I paid Rs.99. Then the particular salesperson handed me the sipper in a POLYTHENE BAG. I knew that Bata is famous for their customer services, but I didn't know that they had started giving polythene bags instead of bags printed Bata on them. Is it because that I only shopped for Rs.99, and not for any bigger amount, that's why they gave me a POLYTHENE BAG??? When I asked that salesperson for a Bata bag he replied me that it was out of stock. I have been buying shoes from Bata for more than 5 years. But I am sorry to say that I've never experienced this type of inconvenience before. Also the behavior of that salesperson was not good.
              This is my last visit to that particular Bata store and I will suggest my relatives and friends not to visit that store. Thank you.

                I purchased a chapal for my son for Rs. 499.00 from Bata India Shakti Nagar they noted my mobile and number for registration purposes on 11.07.2015 and a sms from bata india received on 12.07.2015 that thanks for registration and stated that u have earned 4.0 points on your first purchase. 50 bouns points worth Rs. 50 valid for 30 days and I visited again to the bata ashok vihar to buy another chapal for my younger son but they refused to redeem these point and misbehaved also, and said that if you want to redeem these points you have to wait for 10 minutes because so many customers are coming i want to say that I am not a esteemed customer for those persons. do some thing otherwise Bata will Say Tata.                   I have bought one pair of Shoe from Alpha One mall store Ahmadabad on 06/06/2015 and used the same for 1 time and have found that it has pasting issue and bottom of shoe is defective( Pasting issue). I have approached store for rectification of the same but he denied that we can not do any thing in this. I told him that I have purchased the same around month back only and on that he told me that no warranty is available on pasting issue, this was not told to me during purchase. Apart from this his attitude was also very rude and he told me to come with memo again and he will see what can be done. This was not expected from the company like BATA.

                    Dear Sir, Reference to mails sent on : 1st Mail on[protected], 2nd Mail on[protected], 3rd Main on 6-7-2015 On Date 5-4-2015 i purchased Shoe from Bata Shoe Store - # 610, Avenue Road, Near Rice Memorial Church, Bangalore - 560002. Invoice Bearing No. - 30405 Article - 8546349, Size - 9 Quantity - 1 Pair Net M.R.P. - 1999+01 = 2000 I worn the above mentioned shoes only 10 times and the soul of the shoes ripped apart. Upon showing the shoes to the Bata Shoe Store, they first made me roam for 2 consecutive days saying come tomorrow. After that on[protected] i angrily questioned them why should i come again & again when there is clear manufacturing defect in the shoes. It's already under guarantee period & i should be given the replacement immediately. Then the Bata Store person took the defective shoes from me and wrote on the Purchase Bill Replacement Shoe[protected] and told me to come again tomorrow i.e. on[protected]. After that from[protected] up till[protected] i continuously went to the Bata Store for new pair of shoes and every time i was given the same reply saying "we have sent the shoes to company and we have not received any reply from the company". On[protected] i got angry and questioned there carelessness the Store Person Shivu who was already holding my Purchase Bill added NO in front of Replacement Shoe[protected] which was written earlier as stated above and started doing correction on the date trying to make[protected] look like[protected]Purchase bill attached for your reference). I questioned this act of fraud & injustice been done to me and he started abusing by using vulgar language & threatening me of serious consequences. I made many requests to the bata store owner and have also made complaints on customer.[protected]@bata.co.in, www.bata.in and also on www.bata.com/customer-service websites. But till date there has been no response from either of them. Therefore, i urge your good-selves to please provide me New Pair of shoes as per companies rules given on the purchase bill & safe guard consumers from such unlawful acts & fraud.                             Respected receiver, This chethan kumar here i took hush puppy's slipeer of 2000 rs in bata showroom rpc layout, vijaynagar banglore branch. since it was late in the evening due to some reason i was not abel to pay full amount i paid amout of 1000 rs and made the bill of that slipper and i told ur customer executive that i'll take slipper tomorrow by paying remaining amount, executive happily agreed for that.when i returned within 18 hrs that is by next day he is saying that there is no offer and offer is closed i[censored] want that slipper u should pay extra 2000 or else he will returned the amount told with arrogance.                               Hi, This is regarding the rude and uncivilized behavior of your staff at BATA showroom at kammanahalli main road, kullappa circle, opposite Empire Hotel. I am a member of BATA as i shop a lot from here, i went to this outlet on the 6th of July 2015, and this MR Munjunath was very very rude in his behavior even to give us the sizes we asked for, yet we overlooked this behavior and bought 2 shoes, as he did not have sizes of all the slippers i picked, i told one of my family members that we will go to Khadhims, and this was overheard by Mr Manjunath. After we paid the bill and walked away to Khadims, this so called manager of Bata sent a worker, Mr Abdul wasim, to check the bags that we were carrying, to see if we took an extra shoes, as it was missing from the shop, there were atleast 20 customers when we went to BATA, and this person send his worker to check us? what atrocity is this .. ? this behavior of your staff is just intolerable. Would this person go and check all the customers that were there ? I need an answer for this rude and uncivilized behavior. Kindly take action on both of these uncivilized men, so that no one else will be in this kind of a position ? I need an apology for this, as we were very hurt with this behavior. Thanks Deepa

                                I am an advocate. In the month of November 2014 I have purached a pair of shoes in your show room at Swarnapuri Salem. its No.[protected]size 7. Later I found that the colour of one shoes is different from another shoe. Immediately within one month I approached in charge of that shop and asked him to replace it for which told that both are same and are manufactured in one company. So he had to get consent from the company for that original receipt is required. As per his advice I handed over the original receipt in two days at the movement, he made promise that he would replaced the same as soon as he gets consents for company. Thereafter I approached three times but he is not respondent so far. I will ready to show the disclored shoes If company is wants to very same. Hence the company would advice your employ to replace the defective shoe immediately or else I will be constrained to take legal action against you

As i am the permanent customer of Bata company and i never faced such problems in past as well as its reflects the bad impression of the company. i returned the sandals to the shop keeper please do the needful to replace the same as soon as possible.                                       Hi this is Joel from Chennai, today I.e. 5th July 2015 I had one of my worst experience in shopping by entering into One of the Bata Showroom located at No.78, Mannarswamy Street, Royapuram, Chennai, India... 1) there were 4 executives inside the showroom including a store Manager named Wilson, Nobody had a courtesy to come near me to cater..I was inside the shop for more than 45 min. 2) the store Manager, Mr.Wilson was rude and didn't have the courtesy to make the executives serve me.. I had a billing of 1158 ..His answers were so rude as if I had come to shop in the midnight disturbing his sleep...I went into the shop at 9 browsing through all the footwears, found the best 3 pairs for me and took it to the billing counter and asked why no one had catered me, the reply from the store Manager was"we usually close the store at 9.30 pm." And again his answer was very rude ..that's not a good customer service. I never knew that Bata would do this and I am very disappointed..I have traveled internationally and never found such bad customer care..I am so offended

                                        My son, Avinash, purchased a pair of Bata mens chappals from Chinglepet showroom on 25.6.2015. The Bill No. is 1542 dt.25.6.2015 for Rs. 699/-, the size of the chappal is 10, article no. 8613098. At first he purchased a pair of chappals and my son found it it defective as the stitches were not proper and got cut at the showroom enterance itself. So he went inside the showroom and showed it and asked for another pair. Then they again exchanged another pair of chappals for which the details are as above. Within a weeks period of time, the new chappals has been torn, ie., tow got separated from the bottom layer. The leather used in the chappals are showing some crackd on it. Hence, I am very upset to say that the quality of the chappals are very very poor. Today, I have returned back the chappals to the showroom at Chinglepet. The per incharge, Mr Bhasker, said he will compact the company and reply to me on monday. As I am not interested in buying this model again since the materials used are of very inferior quality, I humbly request you to refund my amount and oblige.
