At the out set, I am HOD, Dept of English, PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. My phone number[protected]. Email.id -rath.[protected]@gmail.com. I bought a pair of WEINBRENNER leather shoes for 3, 200 from your Bata shop, West Sambamdam Road, Rs Puram, Coimbatore. The mode of payment was by my Canara Bank debit card. After two months, the color of one of the said shoes got changed. I have used it hardly for four times. Now, I dont use it because it looks odd and even the studens have started passing comments on it. Do the needful to save me from the embarrassment caused due to the purchase.

At the outset, I am Dr. K Rathnasabapathi, HOD, Dept of English, PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. My phone number is[protected]. My mail id is rath.[protected]@gmail.com. I bought a pair of WEINBRENNER leather shoes for 3, 200 from your Bata shop at West Sambamdam road, RS Puram, Coimbatore. The mode of payment was by my Canara Bank Debit Card. I hardly used the said pair of shoes only four times. But, to my dismay, the color of one of the said shoes got changed. Now, I feel odd to wear it because of the change in color in one shoe. Even my students have started passing comments. More than the money involved, I feel embarrassed. Please do the needful in order to save me from the sense of embarrassment.

    Dear Sir/Madm I am Dr Lalatendu Mishra writing this letter to your company, you may not think it is complain, rather I would say please take this suggestion seriously. Why I am saying it is not complain, because I have not purchased anything this time. Yesterday I have received a gift voucher of Rs 1, 000/- from DELL Company and the voucher was related to BATA (MYGFTR BATA-Gift Code V[protected].Accordingly today evening I went to a BATA showroom in Janpath, Bhubaneswar, Odisha to enquiry about this voucher, but sorry to say the attitude, facial expression and behavior of the Gentleman in the cash counter is not tolerable at all and his answer was “NO” he did not wants to speak also. I felt as if I am beggar and for this he is reluctant to it. Immediately I contacted the DELL people and their answer was, everywhere BATA Showrooms are accepting, so you please contact the Floor manager. Again I went to that Gentleman and express my desired to meet the Floor Manger, but he immediately answered me in a rude voice that he is the floor manger, I also enquired his name, he told his name in a loud voice (I don’t want name now…..if desires later on). Yes this is true! That BATA is the number one brand in India; but this has only possible because to the efforts of their quality and as well as the esteem attitude of their staffs. But that does not mean that in the reputation BATA, a costumer shall get this type service from the floor manager. You are the best judge! Hope the company shall take this note seriously.     Gift voucher is showing as already redeemed :: compliment no. 596449

    Hi Team,

    Regarding Redeem points of gift voucher of BATA, I received the gift voucher by Today Morning. I wanted to purchase things from BATA showroom but I was unable to purchase as it was showing as it already has been redeemed in other shop.

    I suspect, there is a discrepancy in voucher because I haven't used it anywhere before.

    If we were supposed to use it anywhere, May I know where it has been used?

    Or if we weren't supposed to use it before, May I know what could be the reason and why I was unable to redeem points from voucher?

    Finally I called the customer care and raised a ticket(596449) against my gift voucher when I got frustrated.

    More details I have given below

    Order placed in the month of June 19th and I have received order on month of June 21.

    But if we see the gift voucher, it shows as issued on the month of May 23. So it seems to be issues in gift voucher.kindly check it and revert to us ASAP.

    And one more thing I need to convey here to your team that I haven't faced this kind of issues in my life and felt bad when I faced this issue in front of other people in showroom & got frustrated. Finally I lost my hope on bata gift voucher and also BATA, I hope you feel my pain.

    Can you get it sorted out quickly as I am in urgency to use & purchase ?

      Hi, We purchased a sandal from J M Rd Bata Store, Pune on the 7th April 2015 which has been spoil and i want to replace it as it falls in warranty. Sandal cost : 499 Rs I would request you to generate a new copy of the Invoice copy so that i can get it changed Let me know in case of any concern

        I bought a pair of shoes before 120 days. Shoes to be damaged in 40 day's. Then I went to show room of bata for exchange but they return me same shoes with repair but after 50 days shoes again got damage from uper side what is not repaireble .

          Dear sir,

          I have purchased a pair of shoes from Bata Sharma Enterprises Chandigarh on date[protected] . Please find the enclosed receipt bill .

          After fifteen days, small hole appear on the whole surface of the shoes. With time these appear big. These are not repairable at all .

          The shol of the shoes start detaching and with in one month it is about to remove.
          I did not repair it as it was in warranty .

          I went to UTTAMNAGAR BATA Showroom in Delhi and showed the condition of shoes to them .
          They told that they are not able to do anything regarding this, and it could be rectify only on the purchaser shop.
          As, I am living in Delhi and it is not possible to me to go Chandigarh for only shoes .

          Please do needful .

            Hello, Please note that last year I bought one shoe pair from Bata Store at Malad (W) on S.V. Road. After using it for hardly 2 months it got damaged. Then I asked for the replacement of the same to the store manager but as I lost the bill, he refused to replace it. Then I asked him to get it repaired & whatever be the cost, I was ready to pay & he agreed for the same. When I kept the shoes with him for repairing, he misplaced the same & he promised me to give voucher / coupon for the same. Meanwhile the manager got transferred from the Malad store to some where in andheri store. After visiting the store for 2-3 months on regular basis, I got the replacement coupon for Rs. 850/- for the cost of shoes of Rs. 1800/- i.e. less than 50 %. By using that coupon, I bought new shoes from the same store of Rs. 2199/- and after using the coupon amount of Rs. 850/- I paid Rs 1349/- for the new shoes. However, neither I got bill for the new shoes purchase not any warranty was given by the new store manager and he was very rude in replacing the shoes as I was asking for the shoes for free of cost. So please take a note of the same & look into the same.

              Called on customer care number [protected] was put on hold for very long. Could not lodge the complaint . Shop Bata INDIA Ltd DSS number 398 Sector 8 Panchkula Haryana telephone[protected] . Want the Refund back or exchange of product(Stacie ) cost rupees 2499. F[protected] . Two pairs of Stacie bought on 14.4.15. Showed the articles to the manager . He would do so once the confirmation comes from the company. Please confirm with the manager as soon as possible

                Raj Today at 3:57 PM To Bata Customer Service Hello All, Today as advised through your email, I went to your Bata Store in Dwarakanagar, Visakhapatnam. To my shock, I was cheated! This is a serious blemish on reputation and credibility of BATA! Let me explain. I went to the store. I was made to wait for around 1 hour. I was told that the model is not available despite your email confirming it is available. The store manager or whoever said they have only 2 pieces of the model of 8 size - one a damaged / defective piece and another a display piece. For obvious reasons, I could not accept either. Therefore, they said they are getting a brand new piece of 8 size from Dabagardens store and me wait and cool my heels off. Finally, the salesperson returned with a box and then immediately went into the staff room. For 15 minutes, we did not hear from the store guys. When asked, they said they were opening the box. I fail to understand why it would take 15 minutes to open a box of pair of shoes? Anyways, they finally came out and presto displayed the shoes in the box. Needless to say, I came in with a serious customer earlier and was promised a replacement. All this secretiveness and whispers did not help and I was suspicious. I checked the box - it was 10/2013. I check the tag on the shoes - it was 10/2014. There were no paddings inside the shoes. It did not look like a brand new piece and was clearly manipulated. I asked the store guys and they told me that is how it was received! Does Bata do that with different date tags on the shoes and the box and no paddings inside the shoes? When I questioned the store guys, they appeared very uncomfortable and were clearly guilty of cheating the customer again! I caught them red-handed since I do not believe Bata does these kind o[censored]nethical, unscrupulous business malpractices! The store manager was clearly trying to foist on me a damaged / defective piece which he had changed inside the box or probably the display piece in it. That is why the tags were not matching and there were no paddings inside the shoes. He probably thought the customer is an and would not notice - therefore he could cheat me again and again! This level of cheap service to a customer who is coming with an existing and serious customer complaint by foisting another cheating on him is quite disgusting and audacious! Therefore, I refused to take the shoes and left them there! Given this extremely bad experience, I want an escalation to your Senior Vice President and want to provide very strong negative feedback on the worst practices in your Bata stores and the fact that you are taking customers for granted through such business malpractices by attempting to cheat them outright! Please note that I now will not be satisfied with an absolutely brand new set of shoes as replacement but also expect recompense for this horrible experience so that your teams learn the lesson the hard way that it doesn't pay to cheat customers! The only way they will learn this lesson is if it hurts them monetarily. Therefore, I am asking apart from the replacement suitable monetary compensation for this cheating experience failing which I will take you to Consumer Forum Court and put you in the cross-examination and evidence and make you pay dearly! Expect a quick response immediately and today itself!                     Dear Sir/ Mam, 02 times i have sent an email with photos of damaged shoes on following email ids- customer.[protected]@bata.co.in & in-customer.[protected]@bata.com. However it is noticed that these mails are bounced so registering below complaint. Please let me know correct email id's. I have purchased Power shoes (Product No. 8181115) from your authorized dealer (Dealer No. 02389) of Mulund (East) on 08th Nov 2014. I have utilized this shoes hardly 02 months and it got 02 kinds of damage; 1) Discoloured Upper Material 2) Damage of Toe Sole However i was unable to find out the bill copy & also staying far from Mulund station, unable to go to the shop on stipulated time of 60 days. I got the bill in this week but the print was wipe out so i have visited the shop today and inform about above said damage. Shop executive/ manager took the re-print of bill but rejected the claim of replace of shoes. I have attached photos of shoes so you can see the actual damage and copy of re-printed bill to verify the purchase. Considering the Brand name of POWER such instance is something damage to the Brand Name and Goodwill of BATA India Ltd. I would request you to look into this and help me to get it resolve by replacement of product. Also request you to think about copy of bill producing by shops which gets easily wipe out.                       Dear Sir With reference to the above noted subject here i have inform you that I have purchased a power jogger shoes from Bata store from Connaugh Place New Delhi. I have purchased a bata shoes because it lasts for long time. But the sole of the shoes broken within four-five months of purchasing. When contacting Bata store at Bhangel Noida they told they don't know the item and the warranty is for only three months. But how can the sole of a Bata shoe cracks within four-five months. Even a shoe purchased from Srileathers 1and half years back is still with me. My faith on Bata will lost. Plese look into the matter. I will send the photo proof whenever it will be required. I will go back to showroom but they replied i will register online complain giving him hard copy of this complain and the y will take action on it.

                          This is regarding a pair of Bata flat shoes / bellies that I had purchased from your MAYUR VIHAR PHASE 1, store in March, 2015. The shoe code/ model no is as follows:551-3988, 0566-08/14 and the color is brown. The problem is that after 3/4 wears, there is a hole/tear on the upper side of the shoe near the small toe area. Your store salesman had advised me to write to you since I no longer have the cash memo.                               Bata has duly acknowledged replacement for a defective product black Mocassino shoe (Size 7) with model[protected] A vide CRF381677. However on visit to the designated Bata Stores as per the resolution provided, the Stores Manager was unable to provide the replacement as the EAN ref . was not provided in the resolution & without which the claim replacement could not be completed. Repeated requested to the Stores Manager and calls to Customer care is in vain & as a customer I am still awaiting the resolution, which is purely due to internal issues within Bata If this is the Customer Service & resolution provided by Bata, then a customer like myself will deter from buying any Bata product in future, & will not prefer mental agony after paying such a premium price. Now I have been provided another complaint ref # 384866 the resolution for which is awaited. The matter is going on rounds since more than 2 weeks, and as a customer I am being penalised for purely internal billing issues within Bata. Regret if I do not get a feasible resolution on the replacement in the next 2 days, I will be forced to move to the Customer Forum for appropriate redressal of the issue.                                 Sir, I have purchased shoes from your Bata shop located at Lower Bazar Shimla District Shimla Himachal Pradesh during 08/2014 bearing Model No.[protected]/0148 for Rs. 1399/-. I used the shoes during 10/2014 for the first time after rainy season but with in week the leather of shoes torn and it appeared that plastic coat has been made on leather and these shoes completely damaged with in month and were not worth bearing. Undersigned visited the Bata Shop in Lower Bazar Shimla and met with Manager Sh. Krishan Kumar and he advised me to lodge complaint on customer care[protected] and complaint was also lodged . Undersigned also received confirmation of complaint through e-mail on[protected] but no response was received from your company regarding complaint . I again inquired from customer care and I was told that warranty is only for two months and as such nothing can be done. I used these shoes with in warranty period and action was initiated with in warranty. I again visited the shop at lower bazar Shimla on[protected] and I was told that I entire detail of sale is available with company as the shops are authorized to retain record only for two months. Though the amount is meager but such type of quality of shoes from Bata India is not expected . For years I have been purchasing shoes from road side winders/local made shoes and the quality of these shoes are more better that branded shoes of Bata India. I hope that my complaint shall be look into in a proper way and amount shall be reimbursed to undersigned after inquire from your shop at Lower Bazar Shimla otherwise I will file complaint in consumer court for redressed of my grievance. The Image of torn leather of above shoes is being enclosed. The complaint has already been made on-line to the company and at customer care service but no action has been taken by BATA India Ltd.

                                    We purchased ladies foot wear from your vashi sec. 17 shop on 13th September 2014. The details are brand name Dr Scholl, model no. 674-6502, size 3. The item is old product, probably not sold for long time after manufacture. We are regular customer of your referee shop. We have never noticed such a serious defect in products manufactured by M/s Bata India Ltd. Presently we are using brands Like Hush puppies, all season shoes gents chappals etc etc. In referee case left n right footwear top has separated from bottom. Whole thing appears to have been burnt. To keep your name and keep our interest alive in your organization YOU MUST REPLACE THE FOOTWEAR IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT WASTE OF ANYTIME. With best wishes for immediate action.                                       I purchased shoes for Rs. 3600 from Bata's Canought Place, Delhi store about a month back. Now the pasting of the shoes got removed for which the warranty is for 6 months. I have already spoken at the store. As per them, I have to visit the store & leave the shoes for 1-2 days, they will get that repaired & then I have to collect the same again from the store only. This is not acceptable because this is their responsibility to get the same replaced because this is a faulty piece.

                                        I purchased footware of Rs.2170 today from Bata Store, S V Road, Malad West, Mumbai. There was an offer of 250 off on bill of Rs.1999. However, the counter manager denied to give discount as there are two bills prepared for two article. I asked to make a combined bill. However, he denied. When I am purchasing two articles in 7 minutes amounting more than Rs. 1999, they have to give the benefit. Kindly look into the matter.
