I had purchased a paid of shoes for my 7 years old nephew on 24.06.15. He wore it 2 times and it was broken in two days! The broken shoes could have also caused him serious injury. I took the shoes back to the Bata store in Bandra, Mumbai, however, they refused to give me a refund. They are only agreeing to an exchange. However, as I have explained, to the store manager and later to the customer service representative, an exchange is unacceptable since, seeing the terrible quality of footwear that bata sells, neither me nor any member from my family would be interested in owning another pair of bata shoes.
After all the discussions and explaining to bata customer service and the store manager a million times, they still write back to me telling me they will be giving me an exchange. Again, I do not want an exchange; I only want my money back.
