Dear fellow consumers, I urge you not to buy from Bata website or Mobile App. My order no.s were 12065986 and 12066032 One of them got cancelled same day with no explanation and the other order got cancelled after 10 days because of no stock. Both the payment was made online. I dont know if they initiated the refund or not but I did not get a single rupee back from Bata. Its been 18 days and 7 days respectively since my orders have been cancelled and I am yet to see my money or the goods. This has been the single most unpleasant experience I have ever had as an ecommerce customer. I made a compliant on their website (Reference No: 418376) and they dont have the courtesy to follow up to that complaint. I never usually speak ill of any company on the internet but I am utterly disgusted by Bata and I am going to make it my life's mission to see that nobody I know ever buys from Bata again! my email is [protected]@gmail.com Anybody can get in touch with me for proof

    I purchased a sandal to my wife from Bata store mgf metropolitan mall ground floor Gurgaon date on 05/05/2015. But my wife tried that on 17/06/2015 to one hour. She got that sandal bitten her feet at four place and one side left once is falling also. When I went there that store.they said give me that I will get repaired so I don't want get repaired that because I purchased price.1699. It is not low amount and it is new. So please get exchange of that. I am regular customer of Bata but I didn't face like this problem.it is first time. So please do favour to exchange Regards Rahul. [protected]

      Dear Sir, I Mr. Sameer Singh had bought a Bata Chappal/Sleeper of 2 pairs on 14/05/2015 but both of the sleeper got torned after 15 days one of the pair was on 20% discount. So, the agency people are ready to replace one pair only not the other one. While Selling they gave guarantee on replacing the both pair, but now they are not ready to replace the other one. I’m also attaching the purchased Bill with this complaint.

          I purchased Hush Puppies Shoes Article No.8246936 Size 1 vide Cash Memo No.1708 from your Shop No.1813 at Phase No.2, Spencer Plaza, Chennai 600002 on 17th May, 2015. Within one week o[censored]sage the shoe laces on the right leg started wearing off and the outer cover got completely peeled off in less than 3 weeks time. Today, I went to your store from where I purchased asking for replacing the original laces with new ones and the salesman (He claims to be the manager of the store) by name Mr. Mukherji refused to change the same with another pair of original laces but offered with another substitute pair instead. When I opened the pair the length was shorter than the original and I refused to accept and insisted that he should replace with original laces, he responded arrogantly stating that it is not possible and I can complain to whomever I wish and that he is not bothered. I feel such type of behaviors of your employees are highly unacceptable and would cause more harm to your brand, if left unattended. I have attached photographs of the sales person and also the shoe laces and would like you to advise the salesman to apologize for his behavior and also immediately advise the store to give me original replacement.

            On 9th of May I purchased a footwear from BATA Patna, and in only one month upper portion is seperated, I was using bata products since a long time, and it was always satisfactory. But this time it's making me to change my mind towards any other brand coz of its quality. I haven't visited the store yet, coz I know they are not willing to help me, as my friends provided me feedback of that store. Store is located Nr. Central Mall Patna. No revert has been give to me till now 12-june-2015 (More than 2 weeks) PURCHASE DATE : 31 MAY 2015 . As it was of on sat sun So I planed to wear on Monday on for office What I see For whole day I was unable to wear that Shoe I went to the shop keeper they say call customer care My FOOT size is 7 but still i have take for comfortable and take 8 size (42) 3.                   I have purchased a bata show from GIP mall in noida some one and a half month back. As the shoe was having defects i had given it back to the GIP mall store of bata. They have informed that it would 2 days to repair. Now its more than a month and shoe is not repaired. One asked for, they have not returned the shoe without repair. Pathetic condition of person across the counter. He even told that the shoe will be delivered at home address, but still no one has come to deliver.

Three month before I had purchase the shoe from borivali west store at a chandawarkar road store no ( 02486 ) .                         Dear Sir I bought shoe from Bata Showroom (store code:03847, Good Earth City Center, Sec-47, Gurgaon) on 13th April'2015 for Rs 1700 by paying cash. In less than 2 months both the inner sole and outer sole has got separated completely. The outer sole has come out totally. (Please see photograph attached) I have been using Bata products since long but problem of this kind has appeared for the first time and is shocking. I went to the shopkeeper at Bata Showroom, Good Earth City Center, Sec-47, Gurgaon for shoe replacement but he said that I have to write here. Also I remember that on the Shoe box it was written that the product has been manufactured in China, but I am sure Bata would not compromise on its high quality standard. So I request you to immediately arrange for shoe replacement/refund. Incase you need any more information please let me know.                           Hi All, I brought a pair of shoes from Bata (old Delhi Gurgaon Road) showroom, the shoes size was exact but shoes design hurt upper part of my left foot, event i can't walk 100 meter after wear it, after complaint in Bata on thier toll free Number [protected] the customer care executive give me 100% assurance to fix the issue in three days but after complete the mentioned timeline again i have contacted then but againt they are asking for more 2 days time. My complaint No is : 411862. Please act on mentiones complaint ASAP else i will register a complaint in district consumer court. I am waiting for response.

                            I purchased a Bata Ambasador shoe on 31/1/2015 from the Bata Store on Coles Road, Frazer Town, Bangalore. The cost of the shoe was INR2999. To my utter shock I find that the soles of the shoes are both peeling off within a matter of just 4 months. I approached the store and the store manager has expressed helplessness and asked me to contact the customer service. Thereafter I sent an email to the customer service id to which there is not even an acknowledgemetn till date (4 days) This is totally unbecoming of a reputed company like Bata to sell defective shoes.                                 Dear Bata, I live in Hyderabad, Telangana State, India. I have been your loyal customer for more than 15 years and I intended to be. But now, I dont think I can be one anymore. Here is why. In the past two years I could observe that there were not many variety that were being released by Bata. Every time I go to the bata store(with a gap of 6 months at least), I see the same old stock residing in the same old corner of the store, probably fresh with a new layer of dust. And the few new models that come in, are not available in my size (7), most of the times or are not in my price range sometimes. Despite this fact, I have time and again returned to Bata and ended up buying one of your footware half-satisfied, because I am someone, who prefers Quality and Comfort more than anything else in my footware. But the one incident changed my opinion on coming back to bata happened like this. To try finding some new models of footware I went to another brach of Bata that is located at, Kothapet, Hyderabad, India. However the same story repeated and I was having a tough time finding a good pair of footware. On top of that a sales girl kept following me as like a police behind a suspected thief. Neither was she helping me find a proper pair, nor was she leaving my back. It was hardly 20min that I was in the store, that the sales girl following me came face to face with me and said the following in a curt tone or rather say it was little on the harsh side of the tone, in telugu (the regional language) ..."Will it be over today? You have been seeing for so much time, and din't select even one piece. If you want more models, go to another shop."...(indirectly she was showing me the door!!!)... This is something I never faced in any store all my life, and never expected it to face from a store like BATA. Later on I learnt that even my friend faced similar situation in the same store. I don't intend to disclose neither my identity nor have I made an effort to find the details of the sales girl. I am not even sure what made the sales girl speak like that(was it her natural way of dealing people, or if she was just having bad days). I am not writing this message to blame any one. I am writing this, to bring to notice the things that your customers have been facing at your stores; because I believe that you care for them and will make necessary reforms for them. I am writing this, because I don't like to see my once upon a time favourite brand going down like this. Your, Dissappointed customer :(

                                  Purchase a purse of Marie claire from a Bata shoeroom in new Delhi CP for rs 1700 model no.[protected]X46200786, with in a month the leather handles started cutting.. The same got it exchanged with tussle. Then in exchange purchased another purse on 20.05.15. for rs 2000 vide receipt no. 3003/20.05.15 model no. [protected]X46200124.Withhin 10 daye the handles of the bag came out, the stitiching wss so poor. Now since i had coupons of Bta from Payback every time i m exchanging the money is being deducted. I am really suffering by spending on Bata. Now instead of exchanging would like my reimbursement back as dont want any Bata product now.. Kinly reimburse my amount else going the same to be publicise . Two of my friends also bought two purses and facing the same problem. would like my issue to be resolved immediately.

                                      This is Shilpi Dua from Jaipur.This is regarding the telephonic conversation with your customer care executive on 27th may 2015 about a defected footwear. Regarding the same I had received a system generated mail which says my request has been registered with reference number : 406987. But I did'nt received any further mail from the company concerning the exchange of the product (which I should get in 3 working days as mentioned by the executive). Please look into the matter. The above complaint is written by me 2 time and there is no reply from the company and on the customer care number no one picks the call. This is very annoying and irritating and above all, least expected from company like BATA.

                                        Dear Sir/ Madam Myself Dr Sumit Sanotra, I am regular costumer of bata India. I had purchased a Bag for my mother on mother day on[protected] vide memu no. F[protected] from your store at purani mandi Jammu. But the skin of the bag got damaged after the purchase of 10 days. Now the store refused to change it, because at that date the store was offering an discount of 20%. Now I have one question to esteemed company like Bata, is it a crime to purchase discounted product. If one can spend 1500 for a product, that it hardly matters for one to pay another 20 % (ie rs 300). Therefore It is my humble request to the company please do the needful as soon an possible. with regards Dr Sumit
