Sir, I have purchased shoes from your Bata shop located at Lower Bazar Shimla District Shimla Himachal Pradesh during 08/2014 bearing Model No.[protected]/0148 for Rs. 1399/-. I used the shoes during 10/2014 for the first time after rainy season but with in week the leather of shoes torn and it appeared that plastic coat has been made on leather and these shoes completely damaged with in month and were not worth bearing. Undersigned visited the Bata Shop in Lower Bazar Shimla and met with Manager Sh. Krishan Kumar and he advised me to lodge complaint on customer care[protected] and complaint was also lodged . Undersigned also received confirmation of complaint through e-mail on[protected] but no response was received from your company regarding complaint . I again inquired from customer care and I was told that warranty is only for two months and as such nothing can be done. I used these shoes with in warranty period and action was initiated with in warranty. I again visited the shop at lower bazar Shimla on[protected] and I was told that I entire detail of sale is available with company as the shops are authorized to retain record only for two months. Though the amount is meager but such type of quality of shoes from Bata India is not expected . For years I have been purchasing shoes from road side winders/local made shoes and the quality of these shoes are more better that branded shoes of Bata India. I hope that my complaint shall be look into in a proper way and amount shall be reimbursed to undersigned after inquire from your shop at Lower Bazar Shimla otherwise I will file complaint in consumer court for redressed of my grievance. The Image of torn leather of above shoes is being enclosed. The complaint has already been made on-line to the company and at customer care service but no action has been taken by BATA India Ltd.

Maximum defected shoes are available here and the staff is even worse
The store is spoiling the name of the Brand BATA

      We purchased ladies foot wear from your vashi sec. 17 shop on 13th September 2014. The details are brand name Dr Scholl, model no. 674-6502, size 3. The item is old product, probably not sold for long time after manufacture. We are regular customer of your referee shop. We have never noticed such a serious defect in products manufactured by M/s Bata India Ltd. Presently we are using brands Like Hush puppies, all season shoes gents chappals etc etc. In referee case left n right footwear top has separated from bottom. Whole thing appears to have been burnt. To keep your name and keep our interest alive in your organization YOU MUST REPLACE THE FOOTWEAR IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT WASTE OF ANYTIME. With best wishes for immediate action.         I purchased shoes for Rs. 3600 from Bata's Canought Place, Delhi store about a month back. Now the pasting of the shoes got removed for which the warranty is for 6 months. I have already spoken at the store. As per them, I have to visit the store & leave the shoes for 1-2 days, they will get that repaired & then I have to collect the same again from the store only. This is not acceptable because this is their responsibility to get the same replaced because this is a faulty piece.

          I purchased footware of Rs.2170 today from Bata Store, S V Road, Malad West, Mumbai. There was an offer of 250 off on bill of Rs.1999. However, the counter manager denied to give discount as there are two bills prepared for two article. I asked to make a combined bill. However, he denied. When I am purchasing two articles in 7 minutes amounting more than Rs. 1999, they have to give the benefit. Kindly look into the matter.

            Dear Sir, I have purchase a shoe design no.851-6663 at the rate of Rs.2299 from the Bata Show room situated at South City Mall at Kolkata, three month back, unfortunately the purchase bill has been misplaced, as i have the reliability on the Bata products and i think the products need not necessary to be replaced by the customers. I am the Bata product user since 1983. I am very surprise that the above shoe which i was purchased in the month of Janusry, 2015 has been damaged, that the sole of the shoe has been breaked. I have told the fact and shows the shoe to the Bata show room, where it was purchased, they advice me if the customer care will permit through mail regarding exchange of product then we can do so. You are requested to permit to exchange the shoe and liberty to purchase other design of shoe and i will pay the difference amount if any. Regards

              Dear Sir/Madam, I purchase Bata Shoes worth Rs. 3499 from Bata shoe Store, B-15, C.P-2, New Delhi on 02/02/2015. Model No. -8086017. A warranty of 60 days was provided. But within 20 days of purchase the shoes started tearing. And upto now they have torn to a large extent. I visited the showroom on 25/3/15 and the customer representative asked to put the mail on the company's email-id. So I am mentioning my problem here. These shoes were mentioned to be in fresh and there was no discount on them. so these carry a warranty of 60 days. so you are requested to do needful. Thanking you.

                I purchased a pair of shoes from BATA Store, Pratap Nagar, Mayur vihar, Delhi - 110091 at price of Rs. 2300/- on 10.11.2014 vide Cash Memo No.[protected]/0020. However, after 2-3 months, I observed that the soul of both the shoes begun to tear. At present the shoes are of no use. This is the quality offered by BATA company. I sent an email to customer care of Bata which replied me to show the shows to the said store for evaluation of damage and also stated that it will be repaired. But Manager of the said store told me that he is waiting for settlement claim. I am running from piller to post but to no avail. PURAN KUMAR [protected]

                  I bought a bata footwear from bata shoe store, k mall, kollam on 28/07/2014. (bill number 2175). After 7 months o[censored]sage the sole of footwear was torn at different places.so I went to the store and asked for a repair or replacement.I gave the footwear to the store and later they called me and told that the repair will cost 300 rs.I told them that its been only seven months and I had bought it for 1400 rs.they told that the company is not giving replacement sole for free even if its under 1year.so I asked them to give a bill for the repair.they are not ready to that also.they also informed that correct size sole is not available so finishing wont be good.so kindly look in to the matter and make necessary arrangements for solving this issue

                    Hi, I brought a pair of Hush Puppies shoes on 17th Jan 2015. Model No. is 854-6704. The amount was Rs. 1890. I brought from the below shop: 533/ 01026, BATA Shoe Store, M G Road, North, Cochin - 680 035 (KERALA) Its been only 2 months and most of the sole of the shoes have withered out. Its totally disheartening considering that I brought the shoes as I was planning to travel abroad. Since, such an expensive pair of shoes had such a damage, I either want the money back or want a full replacement of the shoes. Kindly revert as soon as possible.                       I purchased the bata shoes online from amazon.in, description as "Bata Men's Krptan black formal shoes - 8 UK[protected]"

                      I am very disappointed since I bought a shoe in the last week of December 14. Within 3 months the stitches came out
                      I have picyure of damaged shoes but "Attach photo proof" tab is not working. It was very disappointing to see this. I also registered a compliant to Bata customer care ie 375708 on 13th march but still I didn't get any feedback from them.

                      Please raised my complaint again ASAP.

                        I have purchased Article no 818-9734 Rs. 2299/- INR shoes size UK-11 from Bata Shoe Store - Noida Sector 18 Bata's shop and for the Manufacturing problem i replaced it from 808-9748 Article INR 1999/- but in this article i faced Soul problem again so that i again complaint and change with same article. Now again with in 18 days i face soul problem again. Really i totally fed up to Bata's Quality and don't want to replace again and again. Now i want my money back, Not want replacement it because of poor quality and wasting my time to visiting your Shop again and again more than two-three times.

                              Hi customer care, I am very disappointed since I bought a shoe in the month of Sept'14 (not from sale) from fresh lot from BATA showroom situated in Prahlad Nagar, Ahmedabad. Ph: 30001813, contact person MP Bukhari and Akram Shaikh. I am VP of a MNC located in prahlad nagar and I wore this black color shoe thrice a day with very limited walking since I travel by car. I bought the shoe at the price of 1699 and the article code is F[protected] SUPER STAR BOUGHT ON 09.09.14. Suddenly I realised yesterday that both the bottom of the shoe is broken. I am attaching a picture. It was very disappointing to see this. I contacted today to the showroom and they told me that the replacement is not in their hand and I am required to send an email with details. Ideally the replacement should be on the store itself and not following the long procedure of writing email and than going back again to the store. I have been very loyal customer to BATA since decades, our whole family prefers BATA over and above any other brand but this time I feel like cheated. I sincerely request you to address my grievance and an immediate replacement to be approved of my shoes. I have attached the pathetic condition of the bottom of the shoe. I wore it hardly for 2 months since I have many other pairs which I use on roster basis. Looking forward for an immediate resolution of my grievances here. Regards RAHUL GARG [protected]

But this time what happen with me was veryshocking. I have purchased a pair of sandle on 11 march 2015 from NisthaExclusive, Sadar Bazar Gurgaon, and afterusing it only for two days itsuppermost layer of sole removed.And when I complaint to shopkeeper he regret to help me. It’s not all aboutthe money Its about the Brand Name andcustomer support of an branded Indian company. If a product is not capableof surviving for a week, then please think for its quality and your customersfaith on you.

                                  SUB : POOR QUALITY SHOES...SOLE DEVELOPED CRACKS AND UNFIT FOR USE Hi, I had purchased this pair of Bata Shoes from your BATA outlet located at Ashram Road, Ahmedabad last year in July'14 for Rs. 1999/- Model #855-6082. Please note that the quality of shoes is worst...the sole has developed cracks in it Earlier in 2014 also i had faced similar problem with another pair of Bata shoes and i had to throw it away, I take utmost care of my shoes, but when this problem came in the second new pair of Bata shoes then i am seriously regretting my decision to buy Bata shoes and would like to draw your attention on the same. I have been regular buyer of Bata shoes since last 30 years, but the problem faced recently in 2 pairs has shaken my confidence of reliability in Bata. Maybe cheaper quality sole has been used because of this problems are occuring again and again. This is NOT acceptable from such a reputed brand like Bata. WHY YOU PEOPLE USE INFERIOR QUALITY RAW MATERIALS AND FOOL CUSTOMERS ??? REPEATED EMAILS TO YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE OF NO USE AS THEY SEEM TO BE TOO BUSY TO RESPOND TO EMAILS...

                                    Hi I have bought a laptop bag from bata vide cash memo number 07-03-15/1/0022/02535 from Bata store in Alpha One mall Ahmedabad. Above bag was purchased for my new Dell laptop worth Rs. 41k. After one week of purchase, while I was going to my office, I had hanged the laptop bag by its shoulder handle with my new laptop inside it, and suddenly the belt of the bag was teared and broken and the bag fell down from my shoulder and due to this my new laptop bag was damaged and broken. Bata bring such a reputed brand n known for its quality product, how come such thing happen. I had bought this bag (Bata Ambassador) bag for Rs. 1699 due to above I had to bear a loss of my new laptop worth Rs. 41k. Please suggest how do I claim this damage from Bata.                                       I brought Bata power canvas shoe[protected] from Bata Shoe Store, Artech Allience, NH 47, Sreekaryam, Trivandrum – 685017 date of (16/02/2015). I have worn this shoe on one day. Unfortunately shoes each part and shoe sole getting separated day one evening itself. So I approach Bata shoe showroom at Sreekaryam. He said it is not able to replace and service. Because this shoe buy on offer price of Rs. 960/-, this shoe's actual price Rs: 1199/-. This is molded power running shoe, I can’t ware not even more than one day. So I kindly request you to please replace and give me new one.

                                      I had registered a complaint (reference no:376028) in your portal for which I had received back a reply stating that the article purchased was under a special sale scheme and under “No Claim, No Warranty” policy. You have mentioned these service policies as well to support your claim:

                                      *The article purchased was under a special sale scheme and under “No Claim, No Warranty” policy.
                                      *As per the service policy, articles purchased under Discount Sale are not considered for any repair or replacement.

                                      I had a thorough search for the above mentioned policies in the cash memo (which I have attached along with this mail), but unfortunately I couldn't find any such statements being listed out there.

                                      I've worn this shoe only for one day and the sole got separated fully from both the shoe. When I brought back the shoes to the shop from where I’ve purchased this one, they told that it is neither possible to exchange the product nor to do any kind of repair works.

                                      I feel ashamed for having experienced such a situation, which was not expected from an esteemed organization like Bata. I have chosen Bata rather than any other unbranded companies only because of the trust I have in the quality of your brand.

                                      I will be obliged if you could look in to the matter and do the needful as soon as possible and replace the product. Awaiting a positive reply from your side.

                                      Its so shame from such a reputed firm like bata...customer never expect this type behaviour from bata.
                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I have been a regular customer of Bata. I purchased Hush Puppies earlier. But the recent purchase of mine was really a dissatisfying one.
                                      On July 20th 2016, 8:40 PM, I bought Power shoes[protected], not within 3 months, the sole getting separated.
                                      As I was promised by Bata showroom during purchase about replacement warranty, I approached them, but only to get disappointed - coz they denied to replace the product.
                                      I would be highly obliged If you could help me here to replace my product.
                                      I also bought sandals in the same purchase. I didn't get this in any offer. Attached are the concerned bill, Price tag and model details

                                        I brought a kids sandal on 9/1/2015 from Velachery, Chennai showroom and is torn very badly. I misplaced the bill but i saw the transaction details on my bank account. The show room executives says i need to submit a bill for warranty claim but i have asked them for a duplicate bill by showing the bank transaction details. The product i brought was very cheap and is torn within two months
