          The average meter reading for last year before february was around 500, now the avarage of last 5 months is around 1200 from march onwards. Seems the meter is giving faulty reading.

            Dear sir,

            I have been receiving excess electric billing from three months for consumer no[protected]*3 ca no. 1576654 (Meter no. No m032980) in comparison to our uses/consumption.

            Due to the outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19) the premises had been shut-down (Main switch off) from 15-mar-2020 i was expecting the monthly bill as nil / zero bill in the shut-down period.

            It has been notice that bill charges are very high since last three months. Details are given below

              This month i checked my electricity bill which has a bill date as 8th jul 2020 which amounted to rs. 4810 whereas i have already paid the bills till last month which was rs. 1530. The bill received this time is exorbantly high whereas there has been minimum usage of certain electronics like ac, geyser. Etc.

                I mrs teena devi being a consumer of best undertaking having consumer no. [protected] would like to draw your attention to the fact that there has been some mistake in sending me the electricity bill for the month of june 2020. I have been receiving an average bill of rs.200-300 since the past six months but this time you have sent me a bill of rs.1200.00 which is very much excessive compared to my usage. So i would like to request you to kindly rectify the bill and send me a fresh bill most urgently because i m not able to pay this excess bill.

                  I am quiet shocked to receive the electricity bill amounting ₹ 7970/-
                  Against electricity consumption, for the last month at my residence.
                  My monthly electricity bill amount generally range between ₹2500 - ₹ 3500.
                  The bill for this month of july is almost twice the amount of my regular bills.

                      Reference to above subject please make changes in june bill received by sms without taking any meter reading. The bill sent here is extremely high of 16010.00 rs. We have been getting bill of 3-4000 rs monthly. My family n son is not here and i am a old person of 85 years old. I hardly use one air conditioner in my room.
                      I am sure there is some mistake in sending the bill. Mine bill is on auto debit and limit is also not much to cover this extremely high bill.
                      Please do the needful and send me the correct bill before due date.
                      I am a old person and not keeping good health.

                      Have not heard anything from you though the last date of payment was near. So I paid the amount. Pls look into the matter and credit the extra amount paid .

                      I would also like to know how to increase the bill limit. Becoz we have auto debit from the account. Becoz this was high bill it was not debited.

                            Sub int: excess amount of light bill in the month of july 2020.

                            This has reference to my house situated at room no.50-12/14, himmat nagar, near acme company, s. M. Road, wadala (East), mumbai – 400 037, b. E. S. T consumer no.[protected]*1, invoice no.[protected].
                            I am quite surprised to receive such a heavy electricity bill of ₹6640 in the month of july 2020, whereas normally the bill comes in the range of ₹800-1500 but july’s bill is 4 times the normal bill. Needless to say, that there has been some anomaly or breach of duty. Either the meter readings have not been taken properly or our meter is faulty.

                            I am quite disturbed how such an exaggerated amount in bill could have been reached. So, i request you to have my meter checked and also get the meter readings confirmed. I shall pay only ones conformed by your respected authorities.

                            I would like you to kindly look in this matter very very urgently and send someone to see to it in accordance with the provisions to the satisfaction of your customer.

                                Dear sir/ madam,
                                We have received excess bill amount of rs 1190 for the month of july 2020 inspite of no use since we are not currently located at the said residence due to lockdown situation.
                                The metre reading taken on 10th june 2020 is 43857 and the metre reading taken on 10 th july 2020 is 43900. Thus, only 43 units have been used for which we have received bill amount of rs 1190. Attached herewith the pics of above 2 metre readings for your reference.
                                Also note that we have received bill in the month of march for the used electricity for the amount of rs 290 whereas bill received in the month of april for unused electricity for rs 1400.
                                So, request you to recheck the bill amounts for the months of march, april, may, june 2020 and confirm.

After reading the bill, we had seen that there is total adjustment charges are imposed of rs.4331.47. I am enclosing herewith copy of bill for your reference.

                                        So my complaint is what kind of these adjustment charges you are imposing?

                                        We are surprised that in this lock down period, where you people should give free electricity to all the people, instead of that you are raising bills with undue amount which is almost 4 times of our actual bill amount

                                        Please give us clarification on the same else we have to file suit against you on for raising faulty bills to the consumer.
