Respected Sir,

I am a regular commutter in BEST buses. I travel everyday from Dahisar to Marol Depo. Have been experiencing this problem offlate on regular basis. I was waiting at the Bus Stop of Mahananda Dairy today. Bus number 7241 M of Marol Depo was passing by. Bus number was 706 and bus reached marol depo at 10.45am.

I waived my hand but the driver did not stop the bus. I chased the bus by Rickshaw and got into it finally at Green Fields on JVLR near Majas Depo. On asking the conductor why the bus did not stop. He said, go and ask the driver. The driver was not willing to respond at all and prefered to keep quiet. I asked the conductor that as per law only 19 standees are allowed. But there are hardly any standees so what is the reason for breaking the rule of not stopping. He said its not my fault.

This has become a routine now. This happens at least twice a week, that buses dont halt at bus stops despite being empty.

I was angry with the replies conductor gave me so I told him that I will lodge a complaint for breaking the law. He started saying, dont teach me laws of BEST. Further on my saying, that I will lodge a complaint against you, he said do what you want. Go wherever you want and lodge a complaint.

This is to request you to take up the matter with relevant authority and let me whom to approach also for this matter.
This is the most common exercise followed by the BEST Drivers & boldly supported by the Conductor in the Bus. I am a regular commuter from Malad Malvani No 1 stop to Kandivali Station bus number 207. Even if the bus is empty to some extend like only few standees in the bus still the driver will not hault the bus at the stop...Most of the time the Bus driver starts moving even when there are people ttying to get into the bus, working hard to get inside the bus...Its ridicoulus, as if The BEST Driver is doing some favour on us by stopping the Bus at the Stop...I would sincerely suggest either you ask your people to halt the bus untill all the passengers are inside the bus or do not take the Bus out of the depot to take the passengers to their destination... Its Not Chalta Hai Please This Time
I also supported for this experience.Because I am one of bus daily consumer of Bus, who suffering from this type of experience lot of times in my life.I lodge a complaint against conductor in Anushakti Nagar Depot & they( your officer)call me on my mobile from depot at once regarding that complaint & after that it was nothing to be happened. In Anushakti nagar Depot, the watchman/Head of the In charge closed the gate before 11.00p.m because he wants to reach early for his house. Until the open of the gate before10.30-11.00 pm, the 352 nos.bus was not entering inside the gate(bus depot) & run fastly from outside of road & driver make fool to passangers.Dpot In charge said to us that, he is unbable to stop this types of incident Because drivers cannot listening of them(All head of the Dept.) Another incident is of 520 route bus.After 11.00 p.m or some times just before that, drivers cannot take bus inside in the Anushakti Nagar Depot.This incident is also found with Bus No.27, which is going to Worli Depot from Kapol Niwas at around from 10.00 p.m and after that drivers cannot stop a on Kapol niwas Stop & take a bus fast from stop, instead of passanger is standing on the stop.It happende lot times with me. I don't know what is the problems to Drivers & conductores.Can I get explainations, Sir?

    There should be lot more buses from seepz to kanjurmarg, As a lot of people board from kanjur( similar to seepz-andheri)
    -going from mulund-andheri takes a long time. seepz-kanjur being short-distance, will reduce the load and also the buses can be more frequent.
    -this will reduce load on existing buses 496, and othere which ar emeant for thane folks.

    Hi,

    Can some one guide me, how I can approach BEST for adding new bus routes for Seepz location from Panvel area. There are many people traveling daily from Panvel to Andheri. If BEST bus facility will be started for this then it will be greate reliefe for travelers.

      This is to request BEST Undertaking to increase the frequency of Bus No. 398 in the morning office timings (between 8 to 10 atleast), which is leaving from Borivali - East to Mulund. As sometime it happens 2-3 buses are coming on the same time and after that 30-45 minutes no buses available. This is to request humblly to Best Undertaking to please increase the frequency of Bus No. 398 in the morning 8 to 10 am. The arrival gap between two buses is more that 30 - 40 minutes, please avoid this to avoid so much incovenience caused to the public daily.

      This is to request BEST Undertaking to BUS no 403, 445, 496, why should separated the bus stop? right now we are inconvenience to go toward powai .To take so much time to wait for one bus
      plz kept all three buses at single bus stop.avoid so much inconvenience caused to the public daily

      This is request regarding bus no.134, this bus is late every day by 1hour to 11/2 hour, we are facing difficulty to travel to our offices in time from Byculla Love Lane, Also only one bus (ie no.134)is running in this route, there is no other option for the commuters, To catch other bus we need to walk till mazagoan sales tax office.This inconvenience is caused due extension of route of bus no.134 till backbay.we request to the best authority to look in to the matter seriously.Thaking you.
      I was travelling by bus no.7Ltd on date 9th august 2009, (bus no.MH01 LA 5117)around 12 pm towards gatkopar.The conductor of the bus(batch no.95695) was using very bad language(abusive kind).it was sunday and the bus was empty so the roads.the conductor was making hurry for no reason.please look in to the matter.
      Request to restart Bus Route No. 454.

      There is only one Bus No.27 on the EE Highway, Chembur ( Cheda Nagar Bus Stop) to Mulund (West) via LBS Marg.

      There are many Buses No. 373, 368, 453 on the EE Highway ( Cheda Nagar / Amar Mahal Stop) to Mulund (East) and taxies on share basis.

      Another reason to request to restart Bus 454 is that it avoids congested traffic at Ghatkopar Depot - Shreyas Talkies as it goes via Kanjur Marg Link Road.

      Please do the needful at the earliest.

      Repeatedly we have been complaning about bus No. 83, 84 which plys between colaba/fort to santacruz/andheri. Once these bus were call office going buses. bur no more. The frequiency between 9.45 am to 11 a.m. comming from colaba/fountain is so bed that there are no buses between 10am to 11am on this route By 11.10 all buses i.e. 83, 84 will come one after another.

      we would request you to please look into this mater as this is causing very much difficulties for office going people to bandra.

      BUS NO. 364 IS GOING THROUGH GOLF CLUB MAIDAN WHERE THERE ARE NO HOUSES AT ALL AND HENCE NO PASSENGERS. INSTEAD, IF IT GOES THROUGH PANJARAPOL AND RK STUDIOS, IT WILL BE USEFUL FOR MANY FROM VASHI NAKA AND CHEMBUR NAKA. AT PRESENT, THERE ARE NO BUSES TO PANJARAPOL AND MAITRI PARK FOR PEOPLE FROM THESE AREAS. PLEASE, THEREFORE, OBLIGE.

      This is a humble request to start a bus service from outside Vikhroli station to Hiranandani, Powai. In the past 3 months that I have travelled from Vikhroli, I have seen endless amount of commuters trying to take a rickshaw to Hiranandani. The rickshaw drivers flatly refuse and this is a real point of concern as we have to ask at least 20 rickshaw's before one actually obliges.

      Would BEST be able to help?

      I travel daily from Gundavali (Andheri East) by AS 2 for Worli. I request BEST to increase the frequency in morning hours as always it is coming fully loaded. Even the Buses are not in a condition.

      the best has done a good job of diverting the bus no 453 ltd to lokmanya nagar
      but the route of this bus should changed little bit
      from tagore nagar junction it should go to gandhi nagar-vikhroli depot-shreyas-ghatkopar depot
      since their are many people from here travel through lbs
      if this route is started then many people will board this bus as this will go through gandhi nagar-bhandup east-enroute bahndup sonapur

      This is to request BEST Undertaking to increase the frequency of Bus No. 445L in the morning office timings (between 9.15 to 10.45 atleast), which is leaving from Bhandup Village to Agarkar Chwok. As sometime it happens 4-5 buses are going to Bhandup village and doesnot come back, we can only see those buses coming after a hour or so. This is to request humblly to Best Undertaking to please increase the frequency of Bus No. 445L at the said time. The arrival gap between two buses is more that 30 - 40 minutes, please avoid this to avoid so much incovenience caused to the public daily.

      Sometimes even the Bus drivers driving are so slow that other buses overtake them. Can you pls look into this matter.

      the best should start a new bus from millenium business park mahape to western suburbs like borivali dahisar this is an urgent issue because bus no 525, 514 are every time packed

      their is great demand for bus from lokmanya nagar thane to agarkar chowk[andheri station east]

      agarkar chowk[andheri station east] - marol depot - seepz - gandhi nagar -tagore nagar junction - kanjur gaon - adarsh vidyalaya - bhandup stn east - bhandup phatak - nahur station east - nahur station west - bhandup sonapur - nirmal lifestyle - mulund checknaka - wagle estate - lokmanya nagar thane
      this route will be bneficial

      bus no 509 ltd was started 5 months before not many prefer this bus because of its route
      if this bus is diverted through lbs their will also be decrease in other buses moving towards vashi from lbs

      mbp - ghansoli - rabale - airoli - bhandup pumping station - nahur railway station [w] - bhandup sonapur - bhandup station [w] - kanjurmarg - gandhi nagar - vikhroli shreyas cinema - ghatkopar depot - ramabai nagar - amar mahal - suman nagar - sion - maheshwari udyan - khodadad circle - shivaji park dadar
      this route will be beneficial for people who reside in lbs and want to go towards mumbai
      right now their is only one bus i.e bus no 27 and this comes crowded from mulund only
      so pls do the needful this is urgent

      but after nahur station this bus goes through subhash nagar bhandup [w]
      instead of this the bus should be diverted through bhandup sonapur
      and from vikhroli depot it should be extended upto santacruz station [e]

      airoli - nahur station - bhandup sonapur - bhandup station [w] - gandhi nagar - vikhroli depot - kurla - santacruz station [e]

Main gate - powai plaza- Hiranandani Garden- Kensington Building-Shetty School- powai Vihar-seepz.

        Today I am traveling from Chakala to Andheri station by BEST bus no.533.I taken best bus no 533 today[protected] at the time 10.35 and give him 10 Rs at first time he give me 5Rs ticket in that time i told him the fare is high actually ticket amt is 4Rs from chakala to andheri station(east).But conductor tell me the ticket fare is 5Rs but later he saw his fare chart and told give me 4 Rs change. I had gave him 10 Rs and humbly told no change with me. He spoke wrong words to me which was not a good. Also arguing on the same.So much change is available in his bag but not agree to refund remain amt ( 6Rs out of 10 Rs) and finally he give me a ticket and some words write on back side of ticket and told me you collect the remain amt.But later when Bus reach the andheri station the conductor tell me pls give ur ticket.I think the conductor refund remain amt.And i give him ticket but not refund money he destroy ticket and told me you can't complaint with ticket. Its really bad.Pls correct action on conductor.

        BEST Bus — Ticket fare

        I was in bus no 235 from andheri stn to infinity mall. The fare is 7 rs I gave Rs 12/- .conductor returned me Rs 5 and gave ticket, I was travelling in same route for about 3 months and I was in full trust that the ticket would be of Rs 7, as I got off from the bus, collectore checke the ticket and said I have to pay fine . I discussed and told them I don't have any money to pay, neither its my fault, I was given Rs 6 ticket then its conductor's fault, collector was so rude to me, I was so fool that I did not say anything to them. I took Rs 4 ticket again and went away.
        The collectors were never seen in that stand before and they say they were always there, they must be knowing p[riorly of the problem to be happened. they were waiting the bus to come, and were sure that they were to get some fine.Really so embarassing.

          Sir,
          I would like to inform you that cone oe your conductor batch no ( 96538 ) cheated with me as i wanted a ticket from teacher's colony to gundavali stop in bus no 348 and i paid to him of Rs.50 he gave me the ticket and Rs.4 back and refused to pay the rest of the money. It was his mistake but he was not reay to pay me back.
          So i would like to drag your attention on such careless conductors. Hope you would take some necessary action against him, and pay me my money back.
          So please take seriously action against this matterand, hope the same not happen with others also.

            BEST Bus route 489 starts at DAHISAR BRIDGE, DAHISAR and ends at SHIVAJI NAGAR DEPOT NEAR DEONAR. considering the length of this route, the FREQUENCY of this bus is truly pathetic, the 489 buses are spaced at 20 minutes (sometimes 30 minutes) and the buses get so horribly crowded (as it gets packed by the time the 4-5th stop arrives after the boarding poin) that the bus tilts sideways due to the load of the poeple hanging from the back door. Not to mention many of these people travel for free as the conductor never reaches them as they are outside hanging on to dear life!!! I have complained to the BEST UNDERTAKING on their e-mail ID and they replied (i was surprised that they did in the first place) that the depot manager says there are "SUFFICIENT" 489 buses. I suggest (rather, I challenge) the depot manager to try to get into the 489 bus at MAGATHANE bus stop during peak hours (8am-10am and 5p.m.-10p.m.) The BEST bus services seem to be deteriorating everyday and they are clearly incapable of handling the growing load of mumbaikars. BEST officials, please wake up!!! You are running the bus services of a growing metropolis!!! Please the frequency of 489 and other long route buses to maximum 5 minutes.

            Frequency of 489 is bus is very less and plese route buses from vikhorili depot to Hirandani area as
            powali and gandhinar rout is always jam and it takes long time to reach kandivali

            Bus no.489 covers a long distance, it would be advisable to start bus no.489 from dindoshi to dahisar bridge, thus enabling quick travel for those residing between goregaon east to dahisar. I also request and suggest that this bus goes via the Phadke flyover thus creating new stops at Bhagwati Hospital, ST.Francis Technical Institute, as there is not a single route from East to West that caters to students and others travelling to these destinations. The only route from east to west via Rajendra nagar flyover is 461 upto Borivli station. The Government has spent money in building new flyovers connecting East-west but of no use to the common man, if he cannot avail public transport.
            c-72 bus which runs between Bhayandar and Sion are horrible on sundays
            I think on sundays they have bus racing and driver and conductor who first completes their cycle are awarded with huge cash price. For above reason driver halt the bus far away and start before passenger could reach to the bus door(including ladies, and senior citizen)

            BEST Bus — NON FREQUENCY OF BUS-603

            Dear Sir,

            we request you to increase the frequency of 603 between 9.00 to 11.00 as we find it very difficult to reach our institution in time. only one or two bus is available and no other vehicles are available to reach Amrutnagar from Kanjur-East.

              I am a normal train traveller. I started using the BEST Bus Service since last week as there is no train to take me directly to Chakala from SantaCruz (west)

              I have noticed the following :

              The Bus drivers do not stop at the Bus Stops even though there are people (ladies) waiting to climb in who are at the doorway but just slow down and speed away. The men jump in and the ladies are just pushed aside and left behind.

              This morning the driver was busy chatting on his mobile whilst driving the bus through thick traffic.

              If you are really interested in improving your service I am willing to take down the bus number and other details you may require to pull up these errant drivers / conductors.

              Some of them are really very thoughtful /considerate and polite and I think these should be rewarded so that the sustomer friendly attititude is passed on to all your staff.

              I saw a middle aged manrunning for the bus this morning which he just missed. He put out his hand to the driver who just zoomed past. I am sure it would not have taken more than a few secs for the man to hop into an empty bus. He must have surely got late for work which could have been avoided by just a small thoughtful gesture from the driver.

              I am a regular traveller from Byculla/Jijamata Udyan to Worli/Jamburi Maidan by your bus route No.50 which starts from Bhaucha Dhakka to Worli Village.

              The buses on this route are supposed to come in a gap of 15 to 20 minutes normally. Most of the time either the bus is irregular or is cancelled. Being the only bus on this route most of the commuters
              suffer at peak hours in the morning and in the evenings.

              This is to request you to please increase the buses on this route or start short distance buses at peak hours from Jijamata Udyan Depot to Worli Village to ease the commuters travelling on this route.
              today morning i was travellling in route No.172 i took the bus from worli naka at 7:15 AM toward Dadar i told conductor to give ticket of Rs.25 of all mumbai travel, but the conductor is given me the ticket of Half mumbai Rs20 and take the Rs.25 i was in hurry and the bus is also full so i didnt check

              Frequency of buses from Andheri west to Malad the bus no's are 256 & 180 are very less after 09:00 am becoz all the buses are going back to back at 08:45 am - 09:00 am and after 09:00 am the buses are coming after 10 am so we people are get delay to go to there work place.

              And drivers are not stopping the buses at bus stops even the buses are empty then also drivers are not stopping the bus at the respective bus stops.

              Kindly look into this matter...

                this is to you informed that at night after 12 bus condustor and driver not given value for passenger

                i gave one examle
                yesterday bus no 279 between kandiwali station to charkop and Buss No is MH-01 LA 5723
                normaly this buss arrivalal time is 12.30 but that yesterday this but arrive @12.26 that is the reason many people miss this buss
                that is totaly that bus driver and conductor mistake
                when i go to depo to enquired about this that time master told me that Buss is running from our time not yours and their time are totaly wrong
                pls look into this matter

                  My bus pass was valid but conductor Checking Machine was not working well so he say me that show your receipt this receit ink is not well so it not show clear date. So Conductor collected my pass & not return to me I say to him that OK you check it & put it to Jogeshwari depot he take my phone no. He say me I will put it on Jogeshwari depot.
                  But after completed duty he put my bus pass in Goregaon depot. If he can't submit my pass to Jogeshwari Depot why he told me I will submit in Jogeshwari Station. As well as he take my Phone no. but he not call me. His responsibility that to give my pass correctly in my hand. But he is not responsible for this. Because of my job I cant possible to go Goregaon depot.
                  His responsibility that submit my pass in Jogeshwari Station Bus Depot. After request in Goregoan depot no any one can't send this pass to Jogeshari Station. This conductor batch No. is 82645
                  So please take correct action on my application.
                  Today i caught Bus No.226 from Borivali to come uptill Magathane, I was suppose to get down at Magathane, but one Senior persom was standing ahead me, so was not able to get down, but the Bus driver didnt even stopped the bus on the bus stop, So i just told him that i wanna get down but that he just shouted at me "MUJHE KYA SAPNA GEERA THA KE TUJHE YAHA UTHARNA HAI", I dont understand y this B.E.S.T people have appointed the Youngsters, Who dont even have the manners how to talk nor even follows the rules. I THINK THEY SHOULD JUST "KICK OUT" THIS . They dont deserve to be in Government job.

                  I would like to complaint on this bloody young drivers, who dont know how to talk nor even knows the rules & regulations.

                  I request the B.E.S.T Authority to Kindly take action on this drivers.

                  I hope the B.E.S.T. will do the needful & will provide good services.

                    During office hours there is a lot of rush yet there are not enough buses to help the commuters reach their destinations.398 & 341 is always packed can't the no of buses increase as almost more than 45 people travel in a bus like animals. Even the conductors never allow the lady commuters to alight the bus from the front door why??? There are times when the bus wont even stop at the stop and even if it does how to get in half the people are hanging at the door. Are we suppose to travel in a bus where we cant even breath.Where as there are a few buses which hardly carry 10 people and worst the no and frequency of such buses is high. Half the life of Mumbai people is spent in travelling hence I request that it would be wise to take feedback from the bus drivers or conductors to find out which buses are usually empty and which buses are packed and increase the nos and frequency of those which are always packed.

                    I completely agree to the comments posted above by Ms Jadhav in connection to the frequency of 398 and 341 I would also like to mention about bus number 309 from Gorai Depot to Kurla station the frequency of all the above mentioned buses are so less that we have to wait long for these buses. Also would like to suggest that there should be an AC bus started for 398 and 309..
                    This is to bring into notice regarding the Frequeny of Bus No. 621 running from Malad Station (West) to Evershine Nagar. There is no fixed timing for the buses and there are only 2 - 3 buses running daily from Monday to Saturday. The person incharge at the station has buses only on papers and not on roads.
                    According to him there is traffic in the evenings, but why cant this system being changed because we see other route buses are one behind the other in a queue. Incharge person says go to the depot dont come here. But see the fast life of Mumbai, we reach home not before 9.00 pm. When can we go to Malwani Depot, may be at 11.00 pm. Even few conductors are rude, if they are asked any questions from passengers regardind delay of bus, they simply reply go by autorickshaw.
                    This is ridiculos. They take people for granted. This is high time for change.

                      This is with regard to the irresponsible behaviour of the conductor of Bus No. 231 at Juhu Bus depot. At 4.30 pm when we went to Juhu Bus depot there was a 231 bus standing there. The public went and sat inside after 15 mins. another 231 bus (5141) went ahead. So everybody sitting in the initial bus ran to catch the second bus. The 231 bus didn't even halt for 2 mins. and started moving . What do the BEST people expect that peole should jump in a moving bus. I was left out as I am not a citizen who pushes other public and jumps in a moving bus.

                      When i requested at Juhu bus depot to give the name of conducter they just started ignoring it. Hence my colleague who could manage to take the bus, pointed out the same point to the conductor (Batch No: 25253)was least bothered to give any explanation.

                      We are citizen of this nation and if public transport does not give us proper service how will people be motivated to use it. It is a kind request to take proper action as soon as possible.

                      BEST Bus — irresponsible behaviour of conductor

                      at 730 am today ie 21 jun 09 at hanuman road villeparle east i entered bus 348 where the side board displayed 348 ltd
                      and not jalad
                      i asked ticket for jaicoach the conductor conveyed the bus is jalad and gave me ticket till ismail yusuf stop
                      i told the conductor its not fair to treat costumers like what he has done forcing me to get down at wrong destinations at the fault of wrong display board.
                      conductor no 93727 replied, i abide the rules of company .
                      Is the company responsible for wrong display, if so the company should be fined and registeration should be cancelled or else the conductor should be restigated and disciplinary action should be taken against him

                      I was going to Mulund from Vashi. The buses going to Mulund skipped the stop; finally after waiting for so long I got a bus. Bus no. 513 and no. plate MH 01 L 9438.The conductor was not at all interested in seeing that the public (many were school kids)was getting into the bus. He just rang the bell to start the bus. I was getting into the bus and bus started with my one hand on the handle and one leg on the foot board with no control on me whether to get down the running bus or to get into it. For a second I felt I will fall off the Bus. But the bus conductor with the batch no.82140 was least bothered. I somehow got into the bus with my heartbeats rising. The bus was not at all crowded as I got a seat to sit. When I told him about this he instead blamed me for getting into the bus and kept on speaking rubbish, also he gave me a wrong ticket (Rs. 20/- ticket punching it on male option for a female).He was wearing a specs with thick moustache and dyed hair and was leukodermic (white patched skin).How irresponsible ....people like these don't want to work only important for them is to get their salary on time.......it doesn't matter if others get hurt or die b’coz of their irresponsible behavior..........such losers

                      I was just 3 to 4 steps away from the bus stop. I waived my hand instead of slowing it down he drew fast and further away so I had to run a few steps more.

                      As we reached Sion there was a bus which was broken down people were standing out and waiving to the bus driver he saw but refused to stop .Passenger’s in the bus told him but as usual the conductor started arguing.

                        i m a regular traveller of BEST bus no. 512, 523, 522 (newly started) from Airoli. The bus drivers and conductors in these buses start the buses without all the people getting into the bus, even when the buses r empty.
                        Yesterdays incidence, i got into bus no. 522 from Bhandup pumping stop, where the bus driver started the (empty bus), when 3-4 people were about to get into it. When i brought this to the notice of conductor, he said, its not my mistake, u tell the driver. what irresponsible behaviour is this?????? when i told the same to the driver he also behaved in the same manner, as if he didn't care!!!
                        I think u need to train all these BEST officials to be polite and more human and follow proper rules and regulations... the attitude of these officials needs to be changed. a humble request to look into this seriously. i felt the need to infom this to ensure safety to senior ctiziens, pregnant ladies especially. My own sister fell down from a 523 bus and she was pregnant. Please take some immediate actions, so that people can travel safely...

                        Yesterday on 17/8/2009 I was traveling from Bus no. 66 at 8.00pm from charni road. Bus No is MH-OI (9783 ).
                        I asked ticket to the conductor, I gave him 20Rs. he retuned me coin of 5Rs and 10Rs note, that not was tear so I asked him to give me another note, he gave me the same again and said this will do. I told him that I am not going to take this note give me another one before I get down. He was so rood to me, he told me I am not going to give another note do what ever you want . I took my 20rs from him and got down in the next stop.

                        I think u need to train this conductor to be polite ... the attitude of these officials needs to be changed. A humble request to look into this seriously.

                          I had boarded bus no 8359 route no 523 vehicle no MH01 L 9362, Conductors batch no 18632, Time 2.35 pm from koparkhairane Teen Taki.
                          I would like to bring to your notice that the driver of the bus was driving very rashly. Was not even waiting for the people to get on the bus. He didnt even stop even after conductor signalled to stop the bus. This did not happen on one occassion but many times. Women, childeren were literally lossing balance while boarding the bus. From koparkhairane to Bhandup station the scenario remained same. The conductor remained a mute spectator. When people questoned the conductor his reply was what he could do? An old man finally had an altercation with the driver as his familly memberes(womens) almost fell off while boarding bus as the bus was in motion. After altercation the driver skipped all the bus stops till IIT powai.

                          Action needs to be taken on both driver and conductor.

                          Secondly BEST bus route no 523's frequency is really pathetic.I have been travelling by this bus since 4 yrs. People have to wait for the bus minimum half an hour, some times for 45mins daily. This conditions have remained the same.

                          Action also needs to be taken on increasing the bus frequency.

                          during the morning rush hours, vehicles going towards airport, take a right turn from wester express highway towards chakala cigarate factory; at this junction best buses line up at the right extreme and push other smaller vehicles to get entry in to the airport road. due to their size of the vehicles the other vehicles are threatened and best drivers do not bother to give way to other vehicles.
                          it is a regular happening at this location; for instance the bus no. MH01-L 8252 did the same thing today (16th april 2010 at 8.30 am) and many o[censored]s got scared. pls restrict your drivers to be more careful about other smaller vehicles on the road.

                            Attitude of STARTER / CONTROLLER
                            Sir,
                            On GHATKOAPR (E) STATION - GARODIA NAGAR ROUTE (i.e. GARODIA NAGAR), the bus frequency is very less. Only 2 bus ply on these route (406, 404) with an average time interval of 30-45 mins. During peak time, STARTER KEEP THIS BUS WAITING AT LAST STOP FO 15 - 20 MINS & SENT BOTH THE BUSES AT SAME TIME, SO PEOPLE HAS TO WAIT FOR 30 -45 MIN FOR BUS AT STARTING STOP, FOR BUS ROUTE WHICH IS HARDLY 15 MINS BY WALKING, SO PEOPLE ARE FORCE TO TAKE SHARE AUTORICKSAW, STARTER / CONTROLER ARE FAVOURING SHARE AUTO BECAUSE OF PERSONNEL INTEREST, SO WE REQUEST PRAVIN CHHEDA TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER & HELP US TO RUN BEST BUS SMOOTHLY. ALSO REQUEST THE MANAGEMENT THAT INSTRUCT THE BUSES NOT STOP AT LAST STOP INSTEAT THEY SHOULD BRING BUS DIRECTLY TO STARTING STOP, SO THAT ATLEAST PASSENGER CAN SIT INSIDE THE BUS & WILL NOT TAKE SHARE AUTO. it is simply not possible to board these buses due to heavy crowd in bus. However, during off peak period (say early morning or afternoon time) when buses are quite empty, most of these buses dont halt at bus stops on aforesaid road (courtesy - double bell given by conductor). Before bus reaches the bus stop, conductor gives double bell indicating driver not to stop bus and hence driver stops the bus either at some distance before or after bus stop (only for passengers to get down).

                            On some ocassions, conductor keeps on saying that "another bus is coming from behind, please leave this bus", but no bus comes.

                            I appeal to higher authorities at BEST to please investigate and look into this matter. Please ask your staff to show courtesy to halt the bus and carry passengers atleast when there is some place.

                            I would also highlight the same problem faced by me.

                            Today - 21/5/09 - Thurs. I was waiting at DN nagar bus stop for 424 bus operating between Mulund & Oshiwara Depot. After 15-20 mins one 424 came at 8.45 a.m.but sped off without taking a halt. It was MH-01-L-9540. So this way we wait for another bus for another 15-20 mins total waiting time 30 mins.

                            Another point to mention here is pls increase fleet of buses (424) or start one additional bus route plying on the same route so that we commuters do not have to depend on one bus. Otherwise it becomes very stressful and tiring for we ladies standing at the bus stop.

                            I would humbly request BEST Authorities to look into the above issues and resolve the same so that we commuters need not have to pin point such issues.

                            I sincerely appreciate the services rendered by BEST Undertakings and hope the same to continue in the coming time ahead.

                            Would appreciate to receive a response from the authority.

                              I am a commuter travelling daily from Malad (W) to Saki Naka by BEST. Recently the route of 488Ltd was changed and now there is no direct bus between these two locations. The route of 388Ltd was also changed similarly last year.

                              Request you to consider the problem and start a direct service again.

                              Bus Route no.488 is cancelled is very much troubulful to borivali(west) passenger because no direct bus service from borivli(w) to ghatkopar, also request for divert bus route no.489 from dhaisar pool to ghatkopar via borivli(W) instead of going from borivli(E) and route no.292 to be extended upto ghatkopar(W), and also suggest for route no 226 to be extended upto ghatkopar(W) instead of going upto barvenagar
                              My mummy's place is at borivli (w) and i stay in chembur, it is very difficult to go to borivli nowadays as all the buses which used to go there have cancelled. For eg. 388 (from ghatkopar to borivli is cancelled); 309 (from kurla to ghatkopar is cancelled); 488 (from Shivaji nagar to Borivali, now upto dindoshi i.e. goregaon); 358 (Deonar depot to Poisar i.e. borivli, now upto bandra only). Kindly do not cancel the buses which are long distant, atleast from borivli upto ghatkopar, kurla or shivaji nagar there has to be one bus.

                                The service provider acknowledges that the bill is excess due to faulty meter reading by their person. However the bill continues to show the excess amount for a 100 sq ft office used by only 1 person 3 times a week (Rs.115, 000/-)

                                  Yesterday, i.e. Saturday, 14th February, 2009, around 9.45 pm, I was standing at Bus Stop Near Railway Station Platform No. 6, Borivali ( East ) to catch Bus No. 209 which ply from Samata Nagar, Kandivali to Sudhendra nagar, Dahisar (East). After arriving the Bus no. MH 01 LA 0169 to the above mentioned Bust Stop, the Bus Driver has started the Bus immediately after boarding by 1 person & there were other 10 persons waiting for their chance to board the Bus. When all the persons has souted on Bus Conductor & Bus Driver, the Bus Driver has stopped the Bus & the remaining passengers have boarded on to the Bus.

                                  After boarding to the Bus, when I have asked to the them, why they have not stopped the bus till all the passengers board the Bus ?. The Bus Conductor has told us that he has given signals to Driver, but this was a Driver's mistake. When we have enquired with Driver, he has enformed us that I can't see properly that's why I have not stopped the bus till all the passengers board in to the bus.

                                  My bus ticket no. is[protected] for Rs. 5.00 ( 4.85 + 0.15 ). This is for your ready reference.

                                  I appeal to higher authorities at BEST to please investigate and look into this matter. Please ask your staff to show courtesy to halt the bus and carry passengers at least when there is some place.

                                  I made a complaint regarding the attitude of driver for BEST rout 11ltd.on 26th Feb 2009 1.50pm from Government colony depot.Bus no 5530.staff no 15473.
                                  The above bus driver was driving the bus extremely slow, where as even a cycle was overtaking the bus.
                                  When asked by the passengers, the bus driver stopped the bus at parel flyover, saying Do what ever you want to do, I will not drive, and he got up. Passenger called on 100 no for police help, Police came to the bus stopped at parel, the driver was listing music from his mobile through head phone.
                                  The same day in the evening I made a complain at Government colony BEST depot in format provided by duty officer, with a written complain I had not received any call or letter, till today.
                                  This just an exploitation with passengers, as passenger where should we go and complain, this kind of arrogency with a public service BEST vehicle.
                                  let me know the procedure to go further. Public can't afford and tolerate such arrogancy.

                                  This is to inform you that I was traveling in 355 bus from Ramkrishna Mission to National college bus –stop on Sunday 26th April 09 at 10.05 am to be more precise.I boarded the bus at 10.05 am.

                                  I have a smart card from Ramkrishna Mission bus stop till Kalanagar bus stop, at the time of boarding the bus when the conductor asked for ticket I showed him the smart card, since my inner zip of the hand bag tore the ID card slipped in the outer pocket and I could not find it at that point of time also the bus was jam packed so it was getting very difficult to hunt for ID card standing in the crowded bus .


                                  So I requested the conductor to give me the ticket since I could not find the ID card.


                                  But he snatched away my smart card (which has validly till mid June) and he kept on arguing and on shouting till Bandra Lucky bus stop, he did not allow me to get down at my destination (National college bus –stop ) and told me get down at the Lucky signal and even refused to give me the ticket.

                                  He could have very well told me that please go and collect the same at the depot and given me a ticket.

                                  He should have shown some courtesy while speaking to a female passenger.

                                  After I got down I searched for the ID card, I found it coz it had slipped in the outer pocket.

                                  Since then I am following up with the Deonar & Trombay depot employees and know one is ready to help me.They do not know if the smart card is submitted by the conductor or not .They keep on saying that call after some time .

                                  Since I am working it is not possible to go to Deonar to check on the same and if the pass is not submitted by the conductor I will have to come back, empty handed.

                                  Appreciate if you can help me on this and understands the problems that a common person is facing due to such incidents.

                                  Sir,
                                  I boarded this bus at Shivaji talao heading towards Bhandup station.
                                  I got a vacant window seat pretty much near to the driver.
                                  Bus was not at all crowded. Till my destination arrived conductor didn’t came to me asking for a ticket.
                                  He was enjoying the ferry sitting on last window seat.
                                  I was not concern as Bhandup station is the last stop and Bus halts for a long time.
                                  As Bus was about to reach Bhandup station I went to him asking for a 20 rs daily pass.
                                  I was surprise to his arrogant reply of asking me to get down without issuing me a ticket.
                                  I m still finding it difficult to evaluate where I was out of rule so I could take care of it next time.
                                  I tried to collect his information over his batch. But he wasn’t wearing any of it.
                                  His attire was totally messy.
                                  All I could manage to do is collect drivers batch no: 6903, Bus no: Mh-01 L9206, route no: 606.
                                  The conductor was a bit older guy crossed his 40's.
                                  I would be pleased if you look at this matter not as an individual complaint but as general misconduct occurring day-by-day.
                                  Kindly look into this matter and do the needful.

                                  on sat - Jan 09, 2009 i had taken a bus # 5 from Lalbaug (MH-01-LA- 5977) at 6.45 p.m. to get down at madke bua chowk stop...driver was in so much hurry that he did not stop on the bus stop.even after requesting he told me u were sleeping ...and did very dirty action of hand...he was so rude that he started giving abuses to lady in a very dirty manner...i request BEST to take a strict action against this rude drivers...i am a regular commuter from lalbaug to citylight as i am working for tata teleservices ltd in Voltas Premises...some of the drivers are very nice and accomdative but this was absolutely rude, arrogant and abusive...

                                  Myself and my several colleagues from Reliance Industres Ltd, (Ghansoli Village) travel daily to Andheri by Route No.AS 525 in the evening.
                                  It is observed that, after SEEPZ stop, the next stop is only at distant Majas Depot, which is a wide gap.

                                  We request your goodself to urgently provide a STOP at KAMAL AMROHI STUDIO
                                  also, so that persons proceeding to Mahakali/Sher E Punjab/Pump House, etc. dont have to travel upto Majas & reverse the same route by Bus Nos. 308/339/441/392/185.
                                  You are requested to urgently resolve this practical difficulty.

                                  These people are suffering daily because of the lack of standard in the BEST service and the behavior of the staff. In addition these poor commuter also wasted their precious time writing their complaint here. No body is going to addressed these complaints. These people (BEST) are not professional. But they want to compete with the western country. Hopeless. They know nothing is going to be happened to them. no action is going to be taken. because they are permanent worker and union is behind them. They will surely laugh reading all these complaints.

                                  I find it really funny, we try our best to reach office in time, we prepare ourselves well in time. and catch the bus . then we come to know that the bus is running before its time. so driver drive the bus very slowly to reach at correct time without considering the suffering we might get.
                                  I am a regular traveller by bus. I stay in Sanpada. Whether it is highway stop or APMC stop. Buses do not halt at the designated stops but always either ahead or back, even if the road is clear. Drivers do not bother to wait for conductor to ring the bell but drag the bus before the bell is rung, this inconveninces and also risks passangers life. A/C buses plying on the route even if they are empty do not bother to halt to pick up the customers.

                                  Thie is complaint against driver of bus no 351.
                                  Yesterday, 05/04/2011, I was standing for bus towards TATA POWER/REFINERY(Via Diamond Garden) at Chembur Naka Bus stop.I am regular traveller on this route.At arond 07.25 hrs one 351 bus, having No. MH-01-L-9396 came fast from Sion side and completely ingore the Chembur Naka stop and rush ahead.This is the regular stop of 351 after diverting buses via Diamond garden due to mono rail work.
                                  I saw one of my colegue in this bus and called him on his mobile and asked him to enquired about this. Driver was telling, that Chembur Naka is not stop for 351.
                                  Is it Correct? Last More than one year I am regularly coming from this stop. and Every buses(351, 356, 431, 367, 26) which are going towards refinery via Diamond Garen have been haulting at this stop.
                                  Please advise the Driver and conductor of this bus.

                                  c 62 express buses this route has been started since 2 years but there is no proper indicator /proper numbers some times written in chalks, i regular travel in this bus during morning its quite ok but during these two years i do not get c 62 bus during
                                  evening time i stand at bhandup bus stand from 15.5hrs to 18:15hrs most of the time these buses are not runing during office hrs and have noticed buses runing quiet empty, recently some of the staff has been telling us about this bus will not be runing from date 1 and will completely be stopped its shocking to us, (my pass no [protected] malvani depot) it has been found that staff is not interested in picking passengers and run aways before passengers reach the bus stand from offices .

                                    Pl. help as there is alsways a limit to bear and for past 3 months 63 no. driver and conductor does not stop bus in morning between 8.35 am to 9.20am, even people are running behind

                                    and it is not probelm of 1 day, it is happening every day
                                    concerned authority should come at 8.30am and stay there till 9.45 am as passanger in normal dress, u will know the realty

                                      We are completely fed up from 63 bus driver and conductor's behaviour of not stopping bus at Gandhi Mkt. stop (near Maheswari Uyan) between 8.35 am to 9.25 am even though 1/4th bus is empty, only 3-4 people are standing in the bus, even though we wave hand from far to show sign of stopping, even only 1-2 girls are standing

                                      Some times guys climb in running bus which females can't do and its dangerous for their life and if someday anyone gets hurt badly only 63 bus will be held responsible in case and evidence will be all passangers waiting on Gandhi Mkt. stop as wht can normal ppl do when they are getting late for office and can't afford taxi

                                      When all others bus can stop whats the problem with 63 no. bus cud u pl. tell me? and it is the only bus to lower parel

                                      also request u to put 1-2 more buses as bcoz of bridge construciton of SION frm 10 mins frequency has become of after every 30 mins and then also the bus does not stop

                                      I live in chunabhatti near chunabhatti bus depot. I need 63 number bus to go Lower parel stop. Buses not leave on time from depot and while come in the evening time lower parel workshop bus stop. between 6pm to 7.30 pm there is no bus, or if bus come drivers and conductors skip the stop and ran away.

                                      I personally registerd complain in the depot for 3 times with reciept 1 year ago. But their service is going very worst day by day. Their supervisor also put notice on the board for drivers and conductors but no one is listening to their own officers.

                                      We all passenger want to solve this who will help us. my number is [protected]
